Feel like killer is the opposite problem though, you pretty much have to run meta perks on a killer. Sub par killer perks just straight up don't work well and won't trigger much, giving you little or no advantage.
Idk I keep the meta to a minimum with killer too. Some killers I run aura builds, some undetectable, some anti-sabo. People not figuring them out in time because they expect pain res DMS every match helps me quite a bit.
-
If you're new or returning after years, there's a lot of stuff to learn and it's way to much to ask of people, particularly as survivor with there being so many killers to learn, plus their add-ons and perks. I wouldn't want to be starting this game for the first time.
But personally i think people think they need meta perks more than they do, they're just too afraid to venture away and try odd builds. I've never used DS, DH, or most Exhaustion perks. Dont use Windows either. I'm running a stealth build right now and my ER for the last 30 days—with over 200 matches—is 62%. And that's mostly soloq. Everyone is so used to seeing the same perks all the time that off-meta is more likely to catch your opponents off-guard.

pallets being unsafe only matter if survivors loop them and they dont, because they have no reason to BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY DAMN PALLETS AND EACH ARE 5 FEET FROM ONE ANOTHER. The whole "well most are unsafe is bullshit when there are so many god damn pallets.
I mean, if that happens, they'll be out of resources very quickly and have massive dead zones. Using Windows to braindead run from pallet to pallet and drop them without any looping is very bad playing. Killers get stronger as the game goes on and the resources dwindle.

I agree, but I thought even the Jason/13 stuff was way more compelling than the Pennywise stuff. It just seems like a total nothingburger.
Also on the dino subject, I agree. I don't think a killer should be a member of a collective or an animal without a distinct personality. I even feel that way about the Xenomorph, and I'm a massive Alien(s) fan.
Killers should be unique/distinct characters, and that's setting aside the obvious licensing cash grab implication.I'm of two minds about xeno. I'm also a fan of the franchise, and the first film is important and deserves representation, but it is indeed a hive-mind-based animal. I will say, at least demogorgon and xeno are otherworldly creatures. Personally, I'd like an Engineer as a killer, because at least that's an intelligent, will-motivated being. But I know Prometheus isn't everyone's favorite Alien film (even though it's mine).

I'm the other way around and I'd honestly rather prefer Vader or a Dinosaur. That's not to say I don't think Jason or IT don't deserve a place in DBD, they absolutely do. I just find them to be less interesting as potential chapters, despite being unambiguously horror related.
If we do get something from Star Wars or Jurassic Park, of course I'd be disappointed if it was sourced from anything other than the original Lucas / Spielberg productions. I definitely don't want anything from Jurassic World in the game. But if we're honest with ourselves, is there really a successful horror franchise on earth that hasn't been milked dry, run into the ground or otherwise corporatised to some degree by now? I don't think so. There are quite a few more Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Saw films than there really should have been.
I don't think BHVR would make a non-horror or horror adjacent chapter for the 10th Anniversary, anyway. Though I do think people are really desperate to see clues where there are none. They're all red herrings imo and I don't think there have been any real clues in the teaser trailers at all.
In regards to IPs being milked dry, I agree. This is kind of a bigger conversation and my opinion is probably not popular, especially amongst horror fans who only skim the mainstream surface of the genre, but I personally think slashers (and distinct visual iconography in place of substance) ruined horror for decades, Scream being one of the most detrimental films in the genre's history. Horror is only now just recovering from 80s bubblegum stupidity, 90s satires, and 00s soulless remakes, and that's mostly because of the heavy lifting done by A24 (despite Blumhouse's constant efforts to keep the genre stupid). And these are the eras most modern people are familiar with. The only really great and important piece of cinema that's represented in this game, to me, is TCM.
If I were to pick a couple ever-so-slightly more offbeat but still well known and visually striking IPs that would mesh okay, I'd go for Pumpkinhead and Phantasm. In terms of importance, I'd say Psycho and Silence of the Lambs, but these are hard to do, being films featuring regular men with knives. But with the direction this game has moved—away from more established franchises and into younger ones like Tokyo Ghoul and FNAF—I don't have very high hopes.

Yeah, I was excited when saw a vid saying the trailer indicated Pennywise, but I didn't get that from it at all. Hope I am wrong, but I think it's a whole lot of hopefully grasping at straws.
This whole excercise feels like people taking what they want it to be and projecting it onto what's given. "How can I make this set of numbers into a 13!"

as someone enjoying the newly released dino in rivals, why the dino hate D:
Because it doesn't pass the vibe check. I don't want a regular animal chasing people around. It's goofy. And Jurassic World is a gross, corporate option, just like SW.
-
Indifference is how I'll feel but as long it isn't Vader or a dinosaur I'll be all right with just about anything.
The trailer didn't give me Pennywise energy at all though. The imagery involved a lot of fractured self stuff. Different reflections in broken glass and multiple shadows, as well as disappearing and reappearing headphones and glasses.

It's not just a meta thing, it's also a fun thing, imo. I think BHVR would be able to attract Killers to play their mains as long as the experience is fun and unique enough. It's definitely impossible to equalise the powers though, I agree with that.
For example, I like playing Trapper in 1V4 but I wouldn't dream of playing him in 2V8. Partly because if I'm waiting 20 minutes for a game, I feel I should pick something stronger so my teammate doesn't have to hard carry us. But also because he's a map control Killer and the maps are simply way too big for that play style to feel satisfying to me. He's not strong but he's also not fun. He's a good option for those Survivor duos where one half doesn't play a lot of Killer but they still want to join their friend for a couple of rounds.
On the other hand, I can definitely see Slinger mains still having a blast playing him in 2V8 despite not being a strong choice, because he's different enough to the 1V4 version to be appealing to them. Wesker just happens to be both fun and very strong for 2V8, which pushes his popularity even higher. I don't think many other Killers can tick both of these boxes in 2V8.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4079618#Comment_4079618
He's always been incredibly popular in 2V8. The bugs this time around just add to the frustration factor of seeing him so often.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4079622#Comment_4079622
I don't play Wesker myself, but I have played the others and I guess what I really meant to say is that his power seems very straight forward compared to the other strong Killers in the mode, with (comparatively speaking) no obvious downsides or as severe a learning curve.
I think if your Wesker Kill rate is anywhere near 60% you are doing just fine. I think the more you play a Killer, the more accurate your MMR becomes and the harder it gets to push past a certain performance level. You are probably better than you think you are. I know my own personal kill rates are kinda "fake", anyway. I have a habit of letting the final Survivor go when I win and I rarely walk away from a trial with less than a 1K (over time, that evens out at a 50% Kill rate and is the same for all my mains). I also play fairly casually with perks I enjoy and mostly by the "rule book", so I know I could push it higher if I really wanted to.
So I go by average hooks instead, which puts Billy and Chucky at the top with 7.89 and 7.88 followed by Legion and Trapper with 7.27 and 7.11. Trapper actually has my highest Kill rate because of his ability to win trials instantly on occasion. Scott Jund made a pretty good recent video explaining why Trapper is weirdly simultaneously one of the strongest and weakest Killers in the game. There is a lot of nuance to Kill rates, imo.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4079647#Comment_4079647
I like your incentive idea. Variety is less of a problem in 1V4 because there are 40+ Killers. (I assume) most players are in mid MMR, where every Killer can do well and feel viable. But I still think there is a problem with Killer variety at the extremes in 1V4. Low MMR is chock full of free Killers like Trapper, Huntress and Wraith, alongside the bottom tier Killers like Ghostie and Legion. This was alleviated a little bit by the Killer daily challenges encouraging players to play Killers that they're a bit crap with (big mistake to have gotten rid of these, imo).
They're solving the issue in top MMR by adding lots of very strong Killers, but I honestly don't know what we're doing making Blight 110%. All that's doing is saying to BHVR that we want to face more Ghouls in top MMR 1V4.
But I digress, something to sweeten the deal to encourage more Killer variety could work for 2V8. Might even help the queues a little, since it could tempt some players away from queuing up to play Wesker for a game or two.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4079770#Comment_4079770
I guess one approach would be to throw absolutely everything at the wall to see what sticks and accept the risk of adding things to 2V8 that might get a Marmite response from players. I suspect easy to add Killers like Clown and Trickster wouldn't get much of a warm welcome but then who knows, maybe they would actually work OK for 2V8? Maybe even Ghoul would be fine. None of these Killers have the unique potential to annoy an entire lobby the way that Legion could.
The only way to know for sure is to try it and find out. But then you run the risk of adding a Killer that gets so many complaints BHVR feel they need to remove them and they lose a bit of good will from both sides in the fallout (I'm still annoyed we lost The Legion).
I worry that 2V8 has prematurely left this experimental phase because it's become way more successful than BHVR ever expected it to be (especially with the casual Survivor crowd). It's made them take a more cautious approach with what Killers they add because they don't want to potentially derail the 2V8 hype train. Short term that might be the right call, but in the long term I think that decision might prove fatal. That said, so long as DBD still attracts new players who will always find the experience to be novel, it has a future. If that's the focus then none of this matters, but I think veteran players might begin to tire of 2V8 before long if they don't keep adding content or find a way to promote variety.

Ha ha! You know, I do enjoy doing impressions of him to myself when I play, so if there's one good thing about him it's that.
"Paaaaw performance, indeeeeed."
60% is where he's at and I can't say that's a number that satisfies me at this point, especially when I compare him to my other killers. Even my top 3 are so disproportionate. Wesker, with the most hours, at 60%. Henry at 70%. Then Dredge at 80%. Henry is also A tier, but more technically complicated than Wesker, yet he's 10 points ahead. I too play by the rulebook most of the time, and I give a lot of mercy, but that's across all my killers, so the number of free escapes would still work out about the same for all of them. Wesker is not an easy killer. There's so much crap you can clip into on the maps and good people know that. They wrap around objects the same way they would with a Billy. The third dash makes that much more tolerable in 2v8, but that's never becoming basekit. But yes, I agree "press x to dash" is easier than Nurse or Blight for casual players.
I agree with you about the MMR, and I also think once you hit a certain point, its permanent across all killers. I'm not a fan of making personal MMR score assumptions but I see the same people over and over, night after night, no matter whether I'm playing survivor or any of my killers, be it 60%KR Wesker or 80%KR Dredge. The days of getting babies when I try a new killer are over, and my MMR on both roles must be pretty similar.
Trapper is way stronger than he gets credit for honestly, I honestly hate playing against him. I'd rather play against Blight. He's just often map (and basement) dependant. But the Trappers I go against as survivor tend to win because they're not babies and they know how to play him in a clever way. He's just more macro against good teams, and I think people confuse that with bad. I also think people who do poorly will deem something bad, even if it's them that's the issue.

What I have noticed in the matches is that if someone uses it quite often its enough to just look like you stop chasing them and start going another direction. Then just go towards where the guy ran from another direction and you catch them when they are exhausted and don't have the power anymore. Then they usually go down quite fast.
Still as most powers in the mode if you know how to use them you can get decent value out of them. Usually survivors get value when you try to help the chased by giving them speed boost with it and even use it when you are not going to get the benefit but you know the hurt one that just got unhooked does and the killers are there already. I had a nice match last night where I played Escapist and I was playing really alturistic. Even saved a guy on the last second going to second stage because my teammates don't pay attention who to unhook first. Guy went for me and not the other guy who was further along than me. I am also the guy in most matches I play who lets anyone hooked to get the green tonic if I have found it so the killers don't get it. I am not selfish and try to keep to myself as usually in those situations one of the killers find it anyway before you can use it.
Team use is the only way I think this ability is strong. Every once in awhile someone will boost me with it when I'm in chase. But using it to move a little faster to the next pallet/tile is not impressive or hard to deal with. It's just annoying.
Showing teammates where green tonics are at should be obvious, but this playerbase is dumb and selfish. They'll try to keep them for themselves and the killers will get them instead.

Yeah, but when you use Play while you wait. It only takes two survivor matches before you can play killer. Which is less then the 1 to 4 ratio you would expect. The mode is also time limited and a unique experience. It's expected that people play it more than they actually desiree because of this fact.
Besides that it's also not good for survivors if there is only one class that overshadows every other one. It lacks variety.Ok? Pwyw doesn't make the queue time any smaller, it just makes it bearable. Do you want two matches to go up to three or four? The only really unique thing about 2v8 is duoing as killer. The novelty is all there. Otherwise, the mode is just stupid mode.
The solution to something being appealing isn't to make it as unappealing as the other options, the solution is to make those other options more appealing.
Escapist is overhyped anyway. Most of my survivor matches have maybe one or two, if any. It's not the first choice of anyone I play with either. It's another thing this community complains about like it's a constant problem even when it isn't.

i mean, you only need 2 vs 8 so literally any percentage of the playerbase higher than 20% that want to play killer will cause a que time
Sure. But the queues in 1v4 when I play are 5s, and the queues in 2v8 are 25+ mins. Bit of a disparity there. As much as killers complain about things like Escapist or less gens or the speed increase, they play the mode quite a bit.
-
I don't care about this class at all, I never use it myself, but there has to be incentives to make people play survivor in this mode. Killer seems to be doing just fine, judging by the queues.
-
It depends on what killer I'm playing as or against. Probably Sprint Burst if I'm Henry. I strongly dislike the Bamboozle/Dissolution combo on a lot of killers, Dissolution more so. Lazy way to deal with chase. Blood Favor is similar but can at least be removed.
-
He is currently my main deterrent to playing the mode. The power renewal isn't so much my issue as the turn rate.

Personally I definitely feel the Wesker fatigue. That and Oni. Before Wesker was fixed it was mostly Drac, Billy and Oni but ever since he was fixed it’s been nothing but Wesker. I don’t mind the 3 dashes, but he does seem to get it back extremely quickly. I’ll manage not to get hit by them and make distance but that distance is instantly destroyed because he ends up getting another 3 dashes back so quick.
I dont want him removed from 2v8, and while a killer rotation would be nice In theory I think it would bum players out because the killer options would be even smaller. They can do the same thing they do to entice survivor to play though, and add BP incentives to specific killers. The incentives could swap from killer to killer encouraging more options without limiting the small amount we do have.
That's actually a great idea
-
He's in a lot of matches because there are only a handful of killers. They just need more killers. I'm not gonna play Trapper. Wesker is also more fun in 2v8 than in 1v4 with the third dash.
What I mean is that he seems to be one of the easiest strong Killers to get results with
Definitely not the case for me. I have more hours in Wesker than anyone else yet he has one of my lowest KRs. He has single handedly keep my overall KR lower than I'd like, purely from my own IP-devoted stubbornness.

It was an entire perk slot to be able to counter only items, and quite literally the ONLY counterplay killers had to items outside of "lol just deal with it".
Now it's a dead perk that does nothing outside of see playtime with weave attunement and killers are left with no counterplay to items.
There is counterplay, it's just specific to the lobby, and killers have the advantage of a visible lobby. Regress/slowdown hurts gen toolboxes, a bunch of perks counter sabo toolboxes, anti-healing perks nerf medkits, Lightborn counters flashlights. The other stuff doesn't really need counters because it's mostly harmless. And it's not like Franklin's no longer works. I lose track of my items and never get them back regularly. When you're in chase, you often don't even notice you lost your item until later. You also might not have time to go wondering about looking for it.
I'm not sure why one perk should counter every sort of item, especially when people have whole builds around those items. There's also no survivor perk that disables all killer add-ons. Many killer add-ons have no counters, like ones that show gen progress. Those are indeed 'just deal with it."
-
I'm currently using Pain Res and Turn Back the Clock. Pain Res is tricky because you need to have some macro sense to know if a gen even has enough progress to use a token. You also have to have a scrouge hook near the down. But if I down someone near a gen with high progress and there's no scrouge hook nearby, I get value from Turn Back the Clock. Even when I bring zero slowdown (which is usually the case) I rarely stop to kick gens, so the ones that require me to not do so are the ones I bring. On M1s I'll occasially bring Surge.

The population is always, let's call it, cycling. But from what I've observed, most people play both roles, but tend to sympathize more with one. There are also some really biased hard mains who are so loud and hostile they make it seem like it's worse than it is. People also tend to think that which ever side they main is the one less represented. Negativity bias goes hard in this community.
-
I've only ever run Franklin's with Weave. Can't complain about it.

I've been maining Henry since he came out, and got him to p100 pretty fast. I wasn't even going to buy him at first but, after playing a few matches against him, I loved the audio design so much that I went all in. He'll probably overtake Wesker in hours eventually.

My conspiracy theory is that it gives you what you don't want. I used to only use commodius toolboxes with wire spools and swivel sockets and it stopped giving me all three of those things, but it would still give me BNPs, which are rarer. Then I started using the better two medikits with addons for two heals, and that dried up. Now I'm using, of all things, a key, and it won't give me those either. This character has been a p100 for some time and I have to dump maybe a million BP to get one or two things I want.

It is possible to be non reportable in game and banable on the forums.unsporstmanlike behaviour can cover many things. Just like throwing....non reportable in game but banable on the forums. They should have consistency in the rules between game and forums but they don't and it's often up to the mod who's online at the time on the forums and if they see fit to ban someone
Sure, it should be consistent, but this person specifically said tunneling and slugging will get you punished on the forum which isn't true, unless "punished" means you'll get clapback. Which, yes, you will.
Also, being banned from the forum and being punished in the actual game are pretty different. The two things have little to do with each other. Codes of conducts would vary between two completely different platforms.

Down votes are not the only punishment. What's acceptable in the game is not acceptable in the forums. Doing it in the game is fine but promoting "unsportsmanlike" gameplay is against the forum rules and can result in a ban from forums.
There is nothing in the forum rules against promoting tunneling and slugging. They are specifically listed as non-reportable in-game, and don't fall under unsportsmanlike conduct, even if much of the community disagrees. You don't get punished for advocating for these things here. We have some people that do little else.
Promoting or admitting to throwing, however, can get you banned.

People don't realize that one report isn’t going to trigger the system to take action. Most likely there is a running tally of total reports, and if an account passes a certain threshold for a specific offense within a short amount of time, then the system flags the account.
So basically, one game of subjective bad behavior isn't going to get your account banned, but repeated offenses will.
I've never heard of such a system existing, nor have I heard of anyone getting dinged by it. We would hear about this through social media if anything ever happened. As is, killer bots who probably get multiple flags every match go unchecked for months.
This system couldn't function without peer review anyway. I'd imagine there are people who petty-report everyone who plays in a way they don't like. If this existed, killers who tunnel or slug, or suvivors who rat or BM, would be getting hit regularly. A lot of players probably also get reported for exploits by people who are just clueless and don't understand perks.
I just recently had someone report me for working with the killer. I wasn't. I simply had no hooks and dodged the killer the whole match, while still unhooking, healing, and doing gens. Yet this person blindly reported me because I had no hooks. A system like this would punish unfairly.
And even here, we have someone who submitted video evidence in the official way, and was told that it's fine for people to die on purpose and not participate. So it seems unlikely there's anything in place except a buttons you can press to feel better, just like the thumbs up button that does nothing.

Killer queues have been long in both 1v4 and 2v8. No one needs an incentive to play killer. They need an incentive to switch to survivor and reduce the wait times.
-
I don't why they even have the option to report things like rage quitting and afking if they won't take action against it even when someone submits a full report. Is it just there to make us feel better? Why did they implement go-next prevention if it's no big deal? Though I don't think people should be permabanned for throwing or anything so severe, a grade loss or matchmaking penalty is warranted if it's indisputable.

Me and half the comment you responded too? Why comment to then try and shift the discussion to something that isnt anything to do with what i was saying? Who said anything about forcing people to play with me? Why are you just making up random arguments now? Is there a reason you feel like you NEED to insinuate something personal against me? Are you that desperate to justifty this irrelevent point you're making?
If you can't stick to the topic of discussion in the comment you respond to then just don't respond to it. What could actually do with an avoid feature is the forums it seems.

It could be in the event quests rewards.
Hopefully it'll roll out later. Would be weird not to do it.
-
Surprise, the new event has no hooks and is only slugging with no abandon option. Happy anniversary!
Would be cool if we got a survivor banner too though. But the most based thing they could do would be individual banners for everyone.

100%. would rather play every badham map back to back than play this map lol
Yeah agreed, and I'm saying that as someone who has DCed maybe ten times in thousands of matches, and one of those was loading onto Badham as Dredge during the map weighting and just noping out immediately.
It really is a shame cause you can tell a ton of work was put into it, but every time I play on it, whether killer or survivor, I feel like I'm losing to the map over anything else.
-
Never thought I'd dislike a map more than Badham but I hate this one equally as both roles. There's too much sensory, too many sudden dead ends, and if you don't know the pathing better than any other map, you're screwed.
Cool design though.

The loops being trash don't matter when they connect immediately into a window or other pallets, that weakness is completely erased. Mind you, most of these loops I'm running into are not trash loops and are straight up normal sized loops that you can't just 50/50 and walk around.
There have always been useful pallets? The pallet denstiy update was mostly to address deadzones and edge map, and maps lacking pallets. Your job as killer is to zone people away from useful chaining resources, not let them dictate where the chase goes.

We'll that's shot my conspiracy theory down.
Still, I think Survivors are more likely to see Killers that synergise together if they're going up against a KWF. So I'd still be willing to bet that most Oni Legion pairing were KWFs. That said, I didn't actually face that many Legion Oni pairings in my Survivor games and the complaints about them started way before Oni was added anyway. Oni isn't the reason they were removed.
It could be said that Oni is arguably still a problem for 2V8 simply because another Killer is on the map. It may be worse if he gets paired with an injury machine like Legion, Wraith or Blight, but from what I've seen, it doesn't really matter because every Killer is capable of giving him a plentiful supply of blood orbs.
I've said before, I don't care if things in 2V8 are balanced or not (or even fun 100% of the time). Legion or no, 2V8 is a balancing disaster on both sides and I'm totally fine with that because I thought that was the whole point of it. But now that we're cherry picking who gets invited to the chaotic mess of broken mechanics that is 2V8, I don't know what the point of it is anymore.
I mean, I think that broken balance works when it's chaos on both sides, but if there's elements that ruin it and make it drastically more busted on one side than the other, it's not really right. I definitely don't love Oni in this mode but I think a nerf would fix him. I don't know what would fix Legion. I also think a lot of the roster aren't capable of being added without identity-ruining changes. There are killers I'd want to play in this mode—and I'd play it more if they were there—but I get that a lot of them just might not be worth the effort, especially considering that this mode doesn't bring in new players (or new money).
I'd venture to say a massive chunk, if not most killers, are duos in 2v8. I don't personally see the point otherwise. At least half the ones I go against make it obvious by having matching names or badges. The fun is in playing a usually solo role with a friend. Otherwise, you can go be silent and do your own thing in 1v4 and not have to worry about landing a baby teammate. They certainly have to account for KWF, and for the lack of matchmaking, when they do things in this mode.

Well, friend, that is not what happened.
In reality, the system was awful and completely broken. There were games where I, having the best ping of the lobby mind you, hit a David through the pallet with my chainsaw as Bubba, I heard his scream, I saw the blood… and he walked away as if nothing had happened.
It was not a good system and it did not work.
This was happening to me a lot as killer as well, but never as survivor, so I always wondered if it looked different on the surivivor's end.

Aww poor baby survivors can never do anything wrong while the killer is the big meanie face for playing to win. On top of that youre running toxic stun and blind perks that does nothing but breed toxicity. You know what else isnt fun? Getting head on stunned which has no counterplay as well as getting blastmined which also has no counterplay because its tied to the killer objective. Maybe think before you post?
You're railing at the wrong person (take your own advice and think before you post) but the counter to perks is other perks. Don't like Head-on? Bring Hubris or Iron Maiden. Don't like Blastmine? Bring Turn Back the Block, Surge, and Pain Res and never touch a gen. OP is running a meme build and you're mad about it.
Play killer and you'll understand the frustration at high mmr
Please show me your MMR score.

Things that are in the game by design shouldn't be bannable. They need to be fixed in the game. And this is something that should be fixed.

Who said anything about losing rewards? I suggested a system that simply attempted to match you against people you haven't told it to avoid before falling back to including those players if it looks like it'll affect someone's queue times. Is there a reason you feel like you NEED to be matched against people who don't want to play with you?

Tbh, I think BHVR made it so that solo Q Legions never got paired up with Oni anyway. I know I never got paired with him once. Legion and Oni pairings were almost always KWFs, so if anything 2V8 has a KWF problem that knocks the mode out of balance.
But they should be added back anyway because they were never as strong as people made out and it's not a game mode anyone in their right mind takes seriously. Besides, "fun" is always subjective (personally, I'd swap out 2V8 Wesker and Spirit for Legion any day of the week).
BHVR have completely destroyed the future potential of 2V8 by setting the precedent of removing a character from the mode like this. 2V8 is ossified and stale now.
I played Legion one whole time and was paired with an Oni.

Except it isn't just "lol teehee I'm bad" I didn't magically forget how to play dbd. There's a noticeable difference that I clocked on to immediately. The game instantly felt different, and not in a good way. Every game goes the same. Survivors prerun, predrop, and hold W.
Many of the new pallets are straight trash. They're basically a guaranteed down if someone decides to brainlessly Window to them. If they're predroppimg and holding W then go around them because that's idiotic, and most of them are weak enough to ignore.

The only thing discouraging me to play killer lately is killer queue time.
Yo fr. 8 minute queues in 1v4. Disgusting.

Endless easy injuries and constant slowdown from mending will synergize too well with anyone.
