Survivor mains always downvoting posts like these makes me really wonder whats the point in posting at all?

Not everything is an us vs them. The forum is mostly a bunch of empty complaints and people blaming the game for their failings instead of trying to improve on them, and a lot of people are tired of it. "I hate this" and "this is so ez for them" and "the game is so hard for my favorite role" posts are pretty boring.

This is sort of against the point of 2v8. It's casual mode. Killers generally get buffs, not nerfs.

I don't believe he needs to be nerfed, i was just saying in case he ever was, that people who practice him or already knows how to play him can still get value out of him despite the nerf.

You have people trying a killer for the first time, or people duoing up who rarely play killer otherwise. If he's only good enough for mains then you won't see him hardly at all. He's already dropped off heavily for still being the most recent killer.

    Nurse & Blight says hello.

Tbf I've seen almost no Blights and few Nurses this 2v8, and they were probably pretty simple to add. Again, I'd love to have Henry, I've been maining him since he came out, but I get why they wouldn't want to deal with the issues of getting him right just for very few people to play him. They'd be better off adding simpler killers, like Clown or Dredge.

I also agree with what Wildcard said about the aura read. I wouldn't want him added just to be hated or removed either, because the aura would go hard on him.

Then bhvr needs to increase the amount of Killer items that can spawn on a map, something which shouldn't be too hard to do since they've already increased the size of the maps in 2v8. Plus a quarter of the Killer roster have interactable items, they kinda have to do it, if they want them added.

I don't believe Henry's kit would be difficult to balance. Imo, the only thing bhvr really needs to focus on, is the stats related to Vine attack and Undergate Attack. The mini-mori itself is irrelevant in relation to his balance in 2v8, and the tokens required to start Worldbreaker feels like it is relatively simple to deal with.

Plus, even if they nerf him, a really skilled Henry player can still get plenty of value out of him.

That just proves that 30 years ago you can get sued over something dumb its 2026 you can get sued for anything now doesn't matter "How much she got" still point is she got sued so someone not liking the game and they feel like they got called a name that was really inappropriate that will be on the game devs for not censoring it and bam EASY MONEY right there. game shut down. let's be honest here they don't care about the game there in it for the money they look at what brings in more killer or survivor then they do what make that category but for people. they can't just remove chat that doesn't stop the comments on your steam profile or the unwanted friend requests or on console don't stop people from messaging you and saying stupid crap. but anyways survivor mains don't matter right? XD

Can't believe I'm saying this in 2026 but the internet has always been a cesspool of pointless conflict. If saying mean words got people sued then everyone would be getting sued constantly. You say something offensive at work, you get fired. You don't get sued. Say something nasty on the internet and you might get banned. Again, you don't get sued.

They can just remove chat, if they wanted. And if they were concerned, they would. Consoles are super strict. They will permaban you from all online gaming for hostility. You can make your profile on any platform private. You can also play anon or make comments friends only. This is called agency. I'd also imagine the terms and conditions we all agree to but never read when we engage with literally anything address this stuff.

No idea what that last remark is supposed to mean.

I think it's more about how much they can put in the map. Currently the only killers that add interactable objects to the map are nemesis and wesker, and they had to almagamate them if they're both in a trial. If you have henry and wesker or nemi in the same trial you need 2 sets of static item spawns, plus the extra chests and the tonics.

Also I think henry's base kit would be very difficult to balance for 2v8. Double the number of survs causes big issues when it come to adding tokens on individual survivors, like 4 tokens per person would be hard to reach for his mini mori with so many survs to deal with. Does it get dropped to 3? They'd need to look at worldbreaker itself too, 2 hits would be much easier to manage with so many survivors knocking about so he'd be almost constantly in worldbreaker mode.

Don't get me wrong, i really want to see him in 2v8. But i recognise he'd be a difficult killer to add and balance.

Yeah I agree it would be tricky to add him, as much as I'd like it. He has a lot going on. I often use the survivor who's worst at dodging me to farm stacks to be almost constantly in World Breaker. Matchmaking being nonexistent is 2v8 would make that very easy to do, and with so many of them running about, it'd be near permanent.

I also feel like World Breaker going on and off would be annoying as hell for the other killer. It's satisfying to me as Henry but if I was just trying to play Wraith I feel like it would aggravate me.

  • Honestly shocking to get this many people to be chill.

  • In this day and age? Hurt the wrong persons feelings, the right way… (an entire franchise is sued because someone dumped THEIR OWN hot coffee on themselves?)

This is such an odd reference. "In this day and age" this incident was over 30 years ago. Have you ever looked into it? It's not as simple as it seems in all the jokes about it, nor did she get much money.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure BHVR wants the toxicity. Competiveness fueled by hatred keeps people playing. If they cared, they could just remove the chat. That would be the easiest first step that requires no game changes.

  • Learn when to drop chase because it's not 30s. It feels much faster than it is. Pay attention to the scoreboard and you'll usually find that the gens felt fast yet they had little to no gen perks. I can tell by the way someone moves if I should even bother with them or look for another target. Over committing to someone good is the worst mistake you can make. Not only will they waste your time in chase, they will drag you to a part of the map that let's gens get done.

You think its fair to tie tangable rewards to others bias, flawed and arbitary opinions? I don't.

Let's be real, this will just be survivors abusing it to farm each other for passive bonus rewards unless they are trolling. A completely pointless system to have that serves zero actual purpose. Even then you'll get people denying likes for the most petty, pathetic and dumb things because something happened that didnt benefit them.

On the flip side, do you really think people are going to be giving likes to killers when they win? Especially if they have to play "unfair" in the survivors eyes to stop themselves losing? Or when they take advantage of bad survivor plays? Even if thats a totally fair and correct thing to do in a PvP game? Or if they play a killer people dislike for whatever random BS reason? Because they dont follow the "survivor rulebook"? There's atleast one survivors raging in endgame chat every game for no reason except ego.

There is a ton of reasons why letting other people decide what you get is an awful idea, not least of all because a system like this obviously benefits survivors infinitely more than killers who will never get a fair or equal opportunity to benefit.

Let's be real, this will just be survivors abusing it to farm each other for passive bonus rewards unless they are trolling.

"Abuse" is a pretty strong word for giving someone a thumbs up. So you get a badge or BP? Big deal. Killers could farm it just the same by giving hatch.

There's atleast one survivors raging in endgame chat every game for no reason except ego.

This is either an exaggeration or a you problem. Most of my chats are silent, tame, or friendly. When there is fighting, 9 times out of 10 it's survivors fighting amongst each other. Many people don't even have chat and can't say anything.

not least of all because a system like this obviously benefits survivors infinitely more than killers who will never get a fair or equal opportunity to benefit.

Not necessarily. If you're tunneling and slugging every match, yeah, you probably aren't getting anything. Which, again, leaves you exactly where you are now. The game is unchanged for you, and and you probably wouldn't even notice the system if all you do in the game is play killer aggressively. Pretty sure I'd do okay with this system as killer. This very much depends on how you play, which would be, ya know, the whole point.

We do already have the thumbs up in the game too. It's pretty obvious it was meant to do something. It would be nice if it actually did.

Rewards like extra BP, Cells, Banners, even exclusive cosmetics that are tied to rewards given to you by other players.

Nah thats an awful idea tying rewards to strangers opinions of you, especially with how irrational, misinformed, bias, hateful and salty this playerbase is.

If people didn't like playing with you, then you just wouldn't get anything. You'd be exactly where you are now. Not sure how you can be hateful with what's basically an upvote, especially if theres no downvote version. Positive reinforcement is a tried and true method for good behavior.

  • Me, blocking momo immediately.

Also blocking everyone who's better than me.

  • On maps with a lot of corridors or structures they'd be unseen almost constantly. They'd just take advantage of it by keeping chase from initiating for as long as they can. You also have a killer like Henry who can still down you from the floor below with his M2. He doesn't need haste on top of that.

I am talking about perks like COB and Overcharge that require stacking to be meaningful yet get punished for it.

Just saying "use the meta options" isn't actually a retort that's not my point. If that's the case never change anything because people can just use the meta options lol. I'm talking about helping out the gen perks that have been mostly terrible since the 3 gen meta nerfs.

I didn't say "buff pain res".

Eruption is still a detriment to use ever since the regression events changes. COB and Overcharge have mostly been terrible ever since 3 gen nerfs (even when COB went up to 150% it changed hardly anything) and the main way to use COB is by stacking it with something like overcharge.

If that's the case never change anything because people can just use the meta options lol.

That is the current issue, that certain perks were hit and others weren't. The system is not good as it is right now. The whole argument against it was just that—that it would further tighten the meta. Though buffing other regression perks would just have them join the meta anyway. It's not exactly creative and variety-filled to just add more anti-gen to the meta.

But buffing these two perks would be fine if they also buff all the healing, gen speed, and haste perks that were affected as well.

  • @Rapid99 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4078470#Comment_4078470

I mean they're not entirely unaffected though? They are still hit by diminishing returns.

The point I'm making is that they've already been nerfed to hell from the old 3 gen meta to the point of needing to be stacked to get value out of regression perks, then they did the regression events change where a gen can only be hit with an regression event like 8 times iirc, and NOW it's diminishing returns on top of all that.

So they've gotten worse and worse and worse, while still being individually horrid perks. They are bad on their own and require stacking to get meaningful value but now you get punished for stacking them with diminishing returns, unless you just play the same old meta of gen blocking with pain res dms.

It's essentially a flat nerf to something that didn't need it and is reliant on stacking to even be meaningful in the first place.

You aren't punished for stacking them though. Diminishing doesn't affect all perks, only certain ones. You can still bring popular builds like Pain Res, Turn Back the Clock, Surge, and DMS and it's unaffected. On the survivor side if you bring Deja Vu and someone else brings Prove Thyself, there's a speed nerf. Or if you bring Deja Vu and Resi. So why should there just be random buffs to perks that weren't affected by this system when most gen speed perks essentially got nerfed but most slowdown ones didn't?

  • Gen regression perks were almost entirely unaffected by diminishing. Gen perks on the survivor side got more heavily nerfed by diminishing than killer ones.

Might as well bring your best for a chance.

Yeah I see the same people whether I'm survivor or any of my killers. I guess once you hit a certain base MMR it stops mattering. I can no longer hop on a new killer and have an even close to easy time.

The only reason for the equivalent exchange is that either community feels snubbed by any change in one way, base kit unbreakable activating only if a player has been slugged 2 full minutes (no pick up but pure slug) seems fair enough if killers get something in retrun, as you said it wouldnt effect killers that dont slug or dont slug very often, thats why I say being on the ground for 2 minutes and not just a collective 2 minutes having been downed and picked up multiple times. As for the base kit deadlock while it would buff killers at the highest levels it would help killers at the lowest to probably the same degree. At most survivors are pushed off a gen with the most progress to go work on another gen, it does waste time but it does keep the match moving and not stalemating out so the killer rank or choice is kinda irrelevant. nothing about them changes fundamentally they would all play the same. Just with maybe 2 1/2 minutes of breathing space inbetween gens. But those are just thoughts and ideas.

I'm not interested in equivalent exchange as a means to get things done. The devs need to have a spine and not cave to hyperbolic outcry.

Nor do I even think that this idea is equivalent. Two minutes on the ground is a long time. This would help people about as often as you get to kobe off-hook with no perks or offerings. Meanwhile, basekit Deadlock would benefit every single killer player.

It's not that gens get done too fast, it's that killers get outplayed or overcommit, then proceed to blame the game. And a mass slowdown is too strong on some killers. That's real nice for Trapper but do we really need to give it to Ghoul? If killers need work, they need to be addressed individually.

  • I don't see this as a fair trade-off at all. There are two main types of slugging that I see. One is what I'd consider normal in typical gameplay. Chasing, hooking, gens getting done, and the killer gets into a situation where multiple people are injured or out of position in the same area and multiple downs are easy. I do this as killer, particularly if I'm desperate and there's only one gen left. I don't think this is an issue. The other kind is the trend that's going on recently, with killers bringing slug builds and going solely for slugs without ever hooking anyone until they're all down. This I think needs to be stopped.

Your solution gives killers who don't slug or who slug occasionally a big buff while not really doing much about the other version. They'll just slug you again when you stand up, and get another read on your teammates with Infectious when they do. I'm not sure why I, as someone who rarely slugs, I should get such a buff.

But if the gens are "going too fast" because of survivor efficiency maybe the answer instead could be that the entity slows down the progress?

The reasons being given for why this is happening aren't gen speeds. It's that it's easier and faster, and that perks that activate upon hooking don't get to be useful.

I'm not following. How is this any different than Plague fountains, Sadako's tapes, Amanda's Boxes, Vecna's chests, Freddy's Clocks, etc etc etc etc?

This would be a risk/reward play that lets Survivors choose whether or not they want to let Afton get more powerful via stealth in favor of forgoing gens for 10ish seconds. People already don't cleanse Hex: Plaything or cleanse against Plague, this is such a nonissue killer buff that would not pull Survs from gens long enough to make a meaningful dent in progression. Plus Afton is loud as hell with those robotic footsteps lmao

Amanda's boxes are not a choice, so that's not a good risk/reward comparsion. You do them or you die. Freddy's clocks take no time to do, Sadako's tapes you can just grab and do a gen, Vecna's chests can be completely ignored if you choose, and are almost all reward without risk.

Henry's clocks are a better example. If you let him stay in power the full time, you're basically cooked, but he also has to earn said power by doing more than just existing. He also can't snatch you by emerging from clocks. The doors would need massive changes if you constantly had to stop and reveal him. It would have to be like Freddy's clocks or Dredge's lockers, where you just occasionally tap a door at a set time, no lengthy locating.

And he's not loud with the ptw skin.

Nah, 60, but that might explain why I haven't been able to recreate the pallet grab or the weird extended uroburos hit. That's super gross if people are doing it on purpose.

  • My TV has one of these built-in so would be crazy if someone got banned for a thing many have by default.

  • If the killer goes for a scourge hook that's too far away or teammates block their path and take hits then it's possible to wiggle free. These things aren't supposed to happen a lot, but you should wiggle to make sure the process is moving, just in case they do happen.

  • I voted for Henry, Clown, Dredge, and Vecna. I'm deeply disinterested in this mode and barely touched it this time around, but these would get me back, particularly Henry. Though idk how you buff a 4.4 with a limited ranged attack into viability on a giant map without him becoming as hated as Ghoul.

    "Going against this soft killer"

I think the only one soft here is you for getting this tilted over a joke power concept that will be useless 9/10 games. It's purely for in-game flavor. Divine Killer whose power afflicts sin that then punishes what the community jokingly considers "sinful" behavior is hilarious. You're behaving like t-bagging the Judgment will cause the game to ban you and lecture you as to why what you did was naughty. I swear if BHVR cans this mechanic because of Surv whining I will be floored.

Nah what's soft is all these babies that cry daily about tbagging without shame and have actually admitted altering their gameplay and their view of the playerbase because of it. The whole "mechanic" is a response to and in favor of how fragile this game's community is.

  • @BongoBoys said:

The anti bm mechanic aint really a problem though? The sin if full can only get exiled if you're downed, if your at the gates that doesn't matter tbag and BM all you want and as long as you don't do it during a match it's no problem

It's the concept. People cry about tbagging all the time and now there's an anti-BMing aspect to a killer. Meanwhile, we can't get any meaningful anti-slug, tunnel, or camp. And this killer is also free to hump and hit on hook to their heart's content. I almost never BM but nothing is going to inspire me more to do so than going against this soft killer.

  • I got to experience the suffering on the other end when I got grabbed by a Wesker and my camera locked up. He really can't be this buggy and left unchecked.

Which is why we need to shift power away from slugging, perks like Infectious fright and Forced hesitation need to be changed to injures instead of downs and Slugging Killers like Oni, Twins and Bubba need to be changed away from slugging as well.

I use both these perks, for anti-sabo, particularly FH. That one I would say is okay because the range is fairly small and it has a cooldown. Infectious is way too strong. Shorten the range, give it a cooldown, and don't have it reveal downed people.

Taurie is excluded from the innocence statement. She can go ahead and acquire sin.

  • The anti-BMing aspect of this killer is nothing short of embarrassing. They really caved to people crying about tbagging. It doesn't even make sense from a narrative perspective. The survivors are sinful for squatting and pointing, but they're also innocent people trapped in a hellish nightmare trying not to be murdered, so how sinful all they, really?

  • @Reinami said:

No, i never said that. Would you expect killers to go the entire match without a gen being done? Their objective is to kill the survivors, not stop the gens from being done, but by definition would you not argue that if the gens are getting done the match i slowly turning towrads the killer more likely losing the match?

No, not really, and I know you know this game well enough to it's not the simple. It depends on how many hooks states have been achieved as those gens get done, whether people are injured, whether there's a 3gen, how organized the team is, what perks the killer has. Lots of factors. Killer comeback potential is huge in end game, especially if people are injured or caught out of position. The objective narrows to two doors that are often very close to one another. Quite a lot of my killer matches come down to end game and I often win them, regardless of what happened before that.

And the loading screen does say the killers primary objective is to hook survivors, it doesn't say kill them.

  • @Reinami said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4077910#Comment_4077910

It doesn't really matter, by DEFINITION, the objective of the survivors is to "survive" and getting hooked actively goes against that objective. Pretending that it isn't at least adjacent to their objective is disingenuous at best.

Do you really expect survivors to never get hooked all match?

  • @Reinami said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4077896#Comment_4077896

When did i say hooking was them failing at their objective? And what about the survivor perks that reward them for getting hooked? The point is that killer perks tend to reward them for doing well, and survivor perks reward them when they aren't doing well.

Here's a great example, look at Hex NOED. NOED has been nerfed multiple times now because its unfun, because killers are "rewarded" for doing badly. Can you explain to me how getting basekit bt is not being rewarded for doing badly?

You said survivors are rewarded for failing their objective by perks and mechanics triggered by being hooked. Being hooked is not a failure. And someone else being hooked certainly isn't either. FT never rewarded the person being hooked. And DS and OtR aren't punishments if you aren't tunneling. They're non-issues. The only failing the objective is not getting the gens done, and there's no way around that. No basekit tmechanic makes them go faster or finishes them for the survivor. And even if they do finish that objecrive, there's a bunch of endgame killer perks that activate, and survivor ones that deactivate.

Maybe the exit gates should auto open when the gens are done. I mean, the survivors finished their objective and the killer is losing. It's kinda handholdy to have that extra step. Everything depends on the angle you look at it from.

The point is, that when killers say gens go too fast survivors say "just apply pressure 5head" so then killers apply that pressure through things like, slugging and tunneling and now suddenly they are the bad guys.

I want you to really try and reflect on this for a minute, really think about it we have today:

    • Basekit BT on unhook
    • Anti face camp mechanics
    • Anti-3 gen mechanics through the gen kick limit
    • Perks that activate on getting unhooked and unhooks like:
      • DS
      • Dead hard
      • Off the Record
      • Fast Track (was nerfed at least)

At what point do you stop and realize that this mess was literally created because killers are constantly punished for doing their objective, while survivors are rewarded for failing at theirs?

And what will happen when you add anti-slug mechanics? Killers will just move on to the next thing. At this point i get accused of "proxy tunneling" like what the hell does that even mean? I once got accused of tunneling someone while playing as sadako. Mind you i "tunneled" this person and never actually hooked them, and was just teleporting to TVs

And as always i need to add my disclaimer. I DO NOT THINK that tunneling, and slugging and camping are good for the game. They are not, they need to go. But not in some half baked mechanic that is just going to get abused once again by SWFs that is so bad that comp doesn't even let the mechanic exist (you aren't allowed to unhook with AFC in comp btw, did you know that?) there's a reason for it.

At what point do we go back to the drawing board and realize that this isn't something that you can just bandaid fix and you need to fundamentally look at the base mechanics of the game?

Since when is getting hooked failing at your objective? The survivor objective isn't supposed to be never, ever getting downed. It's often done by design. There are strategic places and times to be downed. Killers also have lots of perks that reward them for hooking, just like they have ones activated by gens getting finished (which, by your logic, is failing their objecrive). The difference is that survivors can't just ignore regular gameplay. They have to complete 5 gens to escape.

You haven't seen enough episodes or comics of Star wars there is horror in it

I'm aware. I've read Death Troopers. Used to play the video games, read the comics and books, and watch the shows. There's horror in everything if you look for it. You can say the same thing about Marvel too. Doesn't mean it fits. FNAF is goofy to me, but it's fully horror-related. SW is not.

they claim it happens in 3-5 matches, not just one. I’ve seen an increase in 4 man slugging even after fast track got gutted.

Yep. I'm not one to exaggerate with that "I see it every match" but I've had a killer running a slugging build and going exclusively for full team slugs about once every ten survivor matches lately, and it's damn near uncounterable in soloq. But yeah, no anti-slug on the horizon. Somehow it's fine for 80% of the players in a match to be miserable and for the 20% to circumvent normal gameplay.

Everyone said FT was just an excuse and it was. The new excuse is every single perk that activates upon hooking. Looking forward to the next excuse when all those get nerfed too.

It's honestly not rage bait. I'm sorry for not being sufficiently informed when it comes to D&D lore but yeah, the guy really is just a standard everyday fantasy wizard to me. Since you're telling me he's a big deal outside of the Entity's realm… OK, fair enough. But surely you have to admit his powers don't seem all that impressive when he's in the fog (hence why I called him a regular wizard). There's nothing to his DBD incarnation to suggest he belongs in a horror video game any more than Darth Vader does.

Let's be fair and say Vader isn't just a "space wizard" either, though I do think it's still pretty funny to call him that if it annoys people.

I think most people get why the vibe is off here. Star Wars isn't just kiddie and not horror, it's next to Marvel as one of the world's most soulless, cash grabby franchises. Vecna works because DnD is still kinda of a niche, nerd thing. Most people probably didn't know who he was before he was added (or before Stranger Things). Star Wars comes with tons of corporate baggage and pre-determined feelings, much of which centers around cutsy stuff like jokey robots and baby aliens.

  • Part of the problem is that the killer often doesn't know what's happening. I try my best as killer to gage and referee what's going on on the survivor end. If people give up, those are the ones I hook. The ones who keep trying and being active are the ones I let go if other people are ruining the match. A day doesn't go by where I don't give someone hatch for this reason. Letting people leave for throwing is kinda crap, and I've lost a lot of lives as survivor from teammates throwing and the killer having zero consideration for it.

I had a survivor match yesterday where my whole team had two hooks and I had none. Once it got down to two people, he slugged the other and left her as bait for me. I left my gen and picked her up and he relentlessly pursued me, tunneling me out, and the other player got hatch. I wasn't on Steam for this match, but I'm sure he called me a rat in chat, even though I spent the whole match unhooking, healing, and doing gens, and I went for the pick up rather than wait for bleed out. He just couldn't find me, so I must be a rat. I'm currently running a stealth build that let's me be active without detection so I have to expect a certain amount of that, I guess, but it does suck to be doing the most and have them judge you just because they can't see what you're doing.

So yeah, there's toxicity, entitlement, and just misunderstansing on both sides. Most people seem to play both roles, so they're not going to be different people when they switch. It's all one playerbase.

One thing I've personally noticed recently are subtle speed cheaters. If it was in normal mode I would typically just assume it was some perk or something and not even bother checking but being 2v8 makes it even more obvious shenanigans are in play. It usually happens when I'm almost close enough for an M1 and suddenly the survivor starts going just barely fast enough to increase distance. It's not anywhere near as fast as a sprint burst, nor is there some effect activation ping or bubble effect but it's obvious they're suddenly going just a smidge faster than me.

It makes me wonder just how often that happens in 1v4 and I just don't notice because I assume it's some random perk I never bother following up on checking.

I wonder about this all the time too, because I usually just assume it's a perk or I'm misjudging. My mind just doesn't go to cheating unless it's blatant.

Put him in the back in the killswitch oven, he aint cooked enough. 💀

    Both cooked and undercooked.

  • I've rolled with a lot of punches, but I'd consider quitting if Star Wars came to this game .

Same can be said for you here.

Nerfed healing builds? Yeah just from 3,xx something seconds to like plus few more like to 5 thats like best in speed healing build what you got next. If you dont believe and downt want to count it just find mintskulls vid where he covers 9.6 patch and he has it thee for ya as one of many exsamples of why dimishing returns arent bad as doomsday people claim.

Survivors learning counterplay? Oh please its truth but many new killers lately are just copy of powers the already existing killers or share many simularities with already exixting ones so its not so dam hard, whats harder is to know counter to killers that anobody almost plays like twins, artist, hag to these know counter is harder then new killer who is in top 5 picked like for 3+ moths but consistency sounds new to you if you cant believe it.

Gen speed was lately cooked by perk that gives you unremoveable progress while all that it takes is for killer to play how he is supposed to hook survivors, its been nerfed but you cant dennied this effected gen speed not to mention the ruin or COB buffs arent so good because these perks are just shadow of its self compare to their peak versions from past. Another thing is game is very old so meta of what to do to win fast and effective is already knew to all because vast majority of this game player base are just veteran players and newer ones are very few in % from total player base so this means people play more effective then 4 years ago etc.

Yeah, no, what I stated were facts. Gens have not been buffed. This is a fact. It's 90s. There has been a time increase, no decrease. Most recent gen perks have been trash, with the worst one ever crafted on the horizon, unless it gets massive changes. Many gen perks have also been nerfed by diminishing, so the only thing that's happened to healing and gen speeds recently is nerfs. Fast Track has now been nerfed to be even worse than its original version. The one that was around for a couple weeks no longer matters if you're complaining about the here and now.

OP said killers constantly have to adapt. Adapt to what? Crappy new survivor perks no one uses? An extra 5s of BT? Is that really that hard? Survivors do a lot more adapting than killers. Even in a match by match basis, if the killer goes into the match with a slugging build or hard tunnels at 5 gens, survivors have to adapt or die (probably die).

Another thing is game is very old so meta of what to do to win fast and effective is already knew to all because vast majority of this game player base are just veteran players and newer ones

You got data on this or just vibes? This game is free on console. New players are constantly arriving. I see people with a couple hundred hours every time I play. New content brings in people as well.

  • It still says 20% in the description. Maybe a bug?

Increased to 90s and the game can still be over in less than 4 minutes.

A couple of regression perks were buffed with another decent one added, but what does it matter when you're not allowed to defend a gen after 8 regression events?

You can't heal to full in a few seconds? That sounds so rough.

I've been playing Ghostface for 6 years and it's only been getting harder as time goes on. From Vigil destroying status effect timers to the game virtually playing itself through Sprint Burst in tandem with story-mode-difficulty pallet spawns, survivor players have had the game altered to their benefit so severely and still try to act like it's nothing but nerfs for them and buffs for killers. This false narrative junk is so stupid, man.

You're talking about false narratives while defending someone who's saying things that are factually untrue. But I guess that's fine as long as it's the side you prefer.
