Survivor mains on their epic journy to nerf every new killer and then complain why facing only the same 3 top tier killers over and over again 😂
-
Hell yeah we're all sick and tired of the camping and tunneling Jason players!
I don't think it's enough that he is 3 times slower to come out of his power, that we have base-kit borrowed-time, 10 extra seconds on each hook stage, pallet density, heavily improved UI (to improve coordination), body blocks, and 100 perks to counter tunneling!
we need more hand-holding! plz devs give survivors more buffs and nerf killers!!
-
Yeah dude I agree. killer doesn't have the right to play a chill relaxing game and win. they should be swimming in a pool of sweat to earn their win. only survivors are allowed to be handheld.
-
Last time I played I felt so frustrated tbh. he is in a desperate need for a buff and here's my idea for it:
when he hits a torret by his tail, he should recover from the hit animation significantly faster and shouldn't suffer any movement speed penalty at all. because as of right now, a survivor can lead you to a torret and it will put you in a lose-lose situation. You hit the torret? survivor will gain distance and most likely will lead you to another torret since they can see them map-wide. you ignore the torret? enjoy being an m1 killer.
-
is he 4.6 or 4.4?
-
might be unrelated to the topic but is Jason's default movement speed 4.6 or 4.4? or is it the same concept of Springtrap while holding the axe?

OK I take it back. He is not fine.
are you playing on 30 frames? just saw a clip on tiktok saying playing wesker on 30 frames is the way to get those ridiculous hits

They said on the strean these are not then end of the changes and they could give him compensative buffs/ side grades depending on where he lies after these changes are implemented.
ok in that case there is hope. even though i really think base blight is fine. just his speed addons need to be nerfed. after the trickster "rework" I have to keep my expectations low for blight.
-
idk man it doesn't make sense to me when I compare blight with the other 4.4 killers.. all of them have powers that are extremely oppressive during chases and can work around pallets..even god pallets.. yeah sure blights power also work on some tiles/loops but I don't think anyone would disagree that his power in not as reliable/strong as the other 4.4 killers.. unless they some give him compensative buffs I really don't think he will work at all..
-
I'm not sure about balancing this killer around the top like %1 of best blights.. this will kill him for the %99 rest who weren't even too good with him.. but we shall see how this goes.
-
This change would actually be fine if they made so that survivors can't just walk through you during your vaulting animation and vault to the other side of the pallet. If they made it so that you can body block them from vaulting it would be fair. but for now i think its not fair.
-
y'all twisted my words.. kinda lol. what I meant is that in most cases now during a chase you're probably better off not using your power at all.. keep in mind I say this as a casual console player.. not a godlike hardcore tournament level pc player.. because i know that there are some Kaneki players out there who can pull of some crazy stuff (block you mid loop by power) but lets be honest what is the percentage of these guys?
-
I hope it's not intentional or else he is officially just another M1 killer.
-
hmm.. since it’s the dead dog salon map, I bet it’s a head-out build. If so, you deserved it.
-
it would be a great qol change
-
she needs a lot of work. She is still buggy. The dog will sometimes not follow the path and even not move at all sometimes. Also he is very inconsistent when dragging a survivor. Sometimes it feels like he is pushing them to the pallets rather than pushing them to me. And his hit-box is extremely small
-
Look bro, if a billy chainsaws me, it’s either because i was out of position and give him a free down, or cuz he straight up outplayed me. He is one of the most fair and balanced killers and i absolutely love going against him. I still go “wow” when i get hit by a curved chainsaw and don’t want that to go away
-
As long as tournament killers still camp and tunnel (which they still do) then using hooks and especially spreading the hooks and going for the 12 hooks is not more efficient than slugging. Devs made a great job at giving basekit solutions to camping and tunneling and I’m happy about it, but now it’s time to fix the gen rushing and making the game viable for the 12 hooks play-style

Nah fam. We’re a whole community, not just a one person or two!
-
sorry but this looks like the perfect time to revive this post so that the devs can notice it and make a change
-
add Saudi Arabia.
I’m a saudi player and know plenty of saudi guys who still love and play dbd.. we still support this game despite the server issues and we this issue hope it would get look into -

I mean, killers aren't FORCED to always use their power. If a survivor keeps crouch teching you, you should probably just go for an M1. A big part of this game is learning how to make the better choice in a certain scenario. Hence why killers like Huntress or Hillbilly even have the option to M1 in the first place.
this right here.. screams “im an entitled survivor main and idgaf about the other side”
-
as the title says. I live in Saudi arabia and have an amazing internet connection and get consistent 10-40 ping on most of my games.. however, when I play dbd it’s a consistent 100-130 ping because i assume they’re sending me to other servers, and this has screwed me over so many times as a survivor and especially as a killer (there’s always a slight clunky feeling when using killers powers).
By giving us our own servers, the game will be more enjoyable for us + you will get less complaints about vpn killers (trust me most of the guys you assume are using vpn are just people like me and we’re innocent if using vpn) -
Nah I think unbreakable is pretty strong rn and doesn’t need any buffing..I think the best way to end slugging is if the devs gave more incentive to hooking rather than slugging.. cuz the way it is rn, slugging is better in most cases..
-
ikr??? M1 killers are so OP 😭😭😭
-
I’m all for punishing tunnelers.. but this perk can also heavily punish killers who go for the 12 hooks.. imagine this with me.. you’re having a nice competitive match and everyone is on death hook except that one sneaky claudette.. and only 1 gen left and you need someone out of the match.. the claudette can screw up your pressure by using that perk even though you didn’t tunnel
-
@Unequalmitten86 said:
It won't stop it. I have seen more face camps endgame the past two days than ever. We shouldn't have to carry anti slug, anti tunnel perks to play the game.
tf is a killer supposed to do other than this at the end game? Should I patrol the gens while the exit gates are opened?
-
some times it’s not the killer’s fault.. they might just not have servers in their country.. I’m from Saudi arabia and my internet is amazing and get a consistent 20-50 ping in most games.. but when i play dbd its always 100-130
-
Y’know it really says a lot when a survivor main is so spoiled to the point where they’re literally complaining about an M1 killer.
-
is it confirmed they will tweak Wesker? I think he is in a great spot.. if anything maybe buff him to compensate the last nerfs he got a while ago?

I disagree, I don't think the extra ten seconds has a negative effect on killers who play fair. If anything, if survivors leave their teammates on hook for those extra ten seconds, it's giving fair killers more opportunity to snowball their pressure.
I've said this before in other threads, but the best pressure a killer can get short of a dead survivor is to occupy three survivors at once. One on hook, one in chase, one peeling off for the save. For as long as that rundown is true, generator repair plummets down in efficiency.
If survivors are keeping two on gens while one's on the hook and one's in chase, that means you're still bringing the repair efficiency down to half of what it could be, and you're being given a little more time to get that down and snowball your pressure. If you finish your chase sooner than the survivors on generators expect, and get two hooks at the same time, the team has to scramble to undo that situation and reset— during which time, you're still entering chases and keeping the pressure up, keeping them in a cycle of constantly having to unhook and heal.
It's also still very possible to proxy camp and punish survivors prioritising gens so much, as long as you're aiming to get into a chase with the would-be rescuer or force a trade, instead of forcing the hook stage on the hooked survivor.
I'm not saying you're not struggling at the moment, but if you are, I would strongly suggest it's for other reasons.
I get your point about occupying the 3 survivors and it used to work well.. but the thing is now when they greed gens instead of hooking it kinda feels like trading objectives.. yes their greed might cost them to skip a hook stage but that’s only 1/12 of your objective but in the other end they finish 2/5 of their objective.. it just doesn’t feel fair..
does it make sense? English is not my first language so sorry it my explanation is not very clear..
-
Well sometimes even the killer gets robbed from the easiest hits because of hit validation. I had so many instances where I hit the survivor while they are dropping a pallet and I hear the survivor scream as if i hit them but nope.. it doesn’t register as a hit and it’s super frustrating..
I have a great internet connection and never use vpn but my ping is always high.. but it’s not my fault. I think the game is either keep sending me to the wrong server or just don’t have a dedicated server for the Middle East players (im from saudi arabia)

The 10 seconds does nothing unless the killer is tunneling and camping. Some players cannot fathom how "map pressure" works, and can only think in terms of those two strategies.
People can play how they want. If people really want to slug l excessively slug in large numbers then so be it. The devs will be forced to deal with that too once kill rates get out of control.
Calling me "average" and obliquely calling me stupid doesn't help your argument, not sure if dispute that what I said is absolutely true of a subgroup of killers.
these “10 seconds” are actually 80 seconds (10 seconds in 2 hook stages, for 4 survivors) and it hurts the killers who play for the 12 hooks more than the camping and tunneling killers.. it’s 80 seconds of less pressure from the killer and free time for more gens
-
i mean.. how is it broken at all when you literally have the nurse in the same game lol

Yeah but the ptb version it was easier to get tokens, since tou only needed to start the chase, now it has 2 tokens but requires to get chased for 30 seconds for just 1 token
oh okay my bad.. i thought even the ptb version required the 30 second chase to recharge the perk
-
@GingerBeard said:
I actually liked the PTB version and was planning on using it, but now i'm not so sure.
wdy? Its a straight up buff for the ptb version.. it used to have 1 token basically.. now it has 2
-
i don’t think it should be nerfed. Yeah he can use bat form to catch up to you but the thing is you get a clear global sound cue when he does that + you become invisible to him. Which makes it very easy to juke him if you stopped making scratch marks.. its even easier when you have iron will equipped. He will still catch up to you anyway but this little confusion will cause him to get out of bat form too early/late which should give you a decent distance to find the next loop. We finally have a fun killer against the very fun and skillful hold W meta.. lets not ruin it please
-
As a drac main, I think dracula is in a good spot right now. He is strong and really fun. I love the fact that he is the best killer against the very skillful “hold W” meta.

Yeah this is what I don't get. You're not supposed to just be standing around those extra 10 seconds as killer, go get someone else. If you know the survivors are staying on the gens instead of unhooking, go for a gen and chase the next one. There's a good chance you'll hook them too.
the thing is, it’s not really only 10 seconds.. its 10 for two hook stages for 4 survivors. That’s 80 seconds.. 80 seconds of pressure removed from me if i want to play fair and hook everyone 3 times…
-
@CountOfTheFog said:
It allows the others to do generators. There's no reason for it to leave.
how is that a good thing? Gen speed has always been problematic.. and these 10 extra seconds make it worse and more of a necessity to use gen regression perks

very mature and funny. Did you even bother reading the whole thing?

Yeah sure. Might as well give them base-kit DS or DH while we’re at it
-
Bro you have no idea how many times I accidentally tunneled people because I had no idea they got to second hook stage.. I would’ve slugged to give them another chance
-
SM is so bad.. even in her best scenario she is bad. Her best scenario is corning you at the edge of the map to force the drone damage and follow it up with an M1 to basically insta down you without giving you a speed boost for being injured. However, it’s super easily countered by just standing still (her drone won’t be able to detect you) so you force her to M1 you so you can get the speed boost to go to somewhere else. It’s very obvious her rework was a bit rushed and it has a lot of flaws but hey it’s still a win as long as chess merchant in gone tbh.
-
It’s good that they eliminated her old play style. But I just feel like her new power sounds underwhelming.. cuz the way I see it, she is just an m1 killer because her power can only injure and NOT down survivors. Basically, she is another legion. I guess we will see in the ptb
-
Oh no.. this reminds me so much of Hillbilly’s tragic story.. where a killer was literally perfectly balanced and fun to play against, but just needed very minor changes to his addons. And got absolutely gutted instead.. trust me y’all.. we do not want the same fate for blight

We should all remember the purpose of turrets isn't to allow Xeno to have a powerful M2 ability. The purpose of turrets is to give survivors extra counterplay, and that's it. Zero compensation is given to the killer
I respectfully disagree. The main point of the cooldown nerf was just because the Xeno could spam the hell out of his m2 without a real punishment if he whiffed. My suggestion would keep that aspect of the nerf to reward the survivors for dodging the attack, while at the same time, it also rewards the killer for reacting to the turret and hit it before being kicked out of crawl mode.

@sizzlingmario4 said:
It does need a nerf but it’s not because of Nurse and Blight, it just lasts way too long in general and unless survivors use Calm Spirit it is better than every other tracking perk.
nvm i f’d up

Do you think that we were born yesterday?
this killer can destroy any torrent with his tail attack, and he has addons to reduce the torrents effectiveness. Not only mention that you can’t place torrents mid chase, so if you are pushed to an area away from torrents, you are basically dead. Also, there is a limit of placement for those torrents, if there is one across the map, you will have to carry this until another area of interest (you lose a lot of time due to the negative status gained). Also, if you get hit while carrying the torrent, it explodes. Also, many players have been exploiting the oppressive power of alien to tunnel down and camp at 5-4 gens. Because it is easy to to that, they eliminate a player from the game and guarantee a win because, guess what, the slowdown of this killer requires a heavy and coordinated team work to have a small chance to survive.
stop trying to hide the problem by gaslighting other people’s experiences in the game.
Well yes the turrets should have plenty of limitations and restrictions since it can make the killer with no power. Yes the killer can destroy them but it requires insane reflexes cuz you only have like 1 second window before it kicks you out of your power. Which is why a lot of survivors have to use their brains to put the turrets in tricky spots but they don’t wanna do that. They just wanna see gens go brrrrr and take their easy win.
