Yup, just had hope after their redo of Lvl 3 that they'd learned something from the feedback. Go figure. Swing and a miss.
They removed unhooking during EGC, getting kills with NOED, getting flashlight saves, ect. God forbid if there's *some* hard challenges though. Five hooks in the basement isn't hard, neither is four sacrifices. The only thing that makes them hard is DCs. I can agree that the 6 traps may be difficult but that's the point. They changed a lot of the challenges.
-
Yes, but devs removed the "bug" and it's making us solo survivors miserable. I'm in purple ranks, I don't want to play with ranks 20s.
-
As long as I get my BBQ stack, I don't particularly care if they kill themselves on hook. As killer, that is.
As survivor, I might as well go die on hook as well if that happens.
-
I use it to give me something to do... that's it. I don't pay attention to it.
-
I sometimes let them go, I sometimes hook them. I sometimes even have a little fun and decide that if they wiggle, they die and if they don't wiggle, they get the hatch.
-
No, I've had many instances where I will drop down and walk (with the speedboost) behind a rock or something. This is even better with not making sound when falling, just don't fall off stuff when you don't want to.
-
I think more than 50% of the community can agree that keys + moris should be nerfed in some way or another.
-
Ah, great, PS4 better fix all of it's random crashes before it gets there then.
-
Hopefully not Pennywise is all I'm going to say...
-
Don't worry! Devs won't ban for petty stuff like that.
-
It's a you thing, I've never experienced this.

Stranger things, Cursed Legacy can be bought with shards

Getting jumpscared by Creepers falling down the ravine while I mind my own business and mine Iron.
I love this one right here.

I did as well... but not because of that line, but because it was really long.

How so, without some sort of demo recording or video evidence? There's no statistical analytical data to tell them the difference between who is doing that vs. who is just suiciding on hook.
Many people record their games, or many will start recording when they see it.

No, suiciding is not bannable. It can't be. There would be absolutely no way to accurately assess when that is happening - therefore they can't punish for it.
They're not saying that just suiciding is bannable, they're asking if pointing at the hook to suicide is bannable. At that point, it is easy to tell their intentions and punish them.

Well maybe not lower their appearance chances, but they could make those items cost more BP I suppose.
I think a better solution is to make perks cost less blood points and stop the corruption from tagetting them specifically from now on. There are just too many perks and having to grind so much to get the same perks over and over and over again is overly tedious and becoming more so. The rest of the stuff is fine but perks are getting to be a bit too numerous, with only certain ones actually being useful.
If they made it cost more BP, we'd be right back at the same spot.
-
Aye, for me killer queues are instant, survivor is a good few minutes. You're the only one with long kill queue times, what rank are you?
-
75% win rate, where are you pulling this from?
-
Well, my brother had been playing the game for a few months before I decided to give it a shot. My first game was against a nurse and I survived and... technically my first game I gave a 5-gen chase. Well, all I did was run in a straight line the entire game and she couldn't catch me, still don't know why.
First game as killer I decided to play Leatherface and I knew absolutely nothing. My brother kept telling me to look for scratch marks and I had absolutely no clue what those were, took me a week to realize what he meant. It's not that I saw them and didn't know what they were, I genuinely just didn't see them.
Now my brother has only 200 hours in the game and I have around 800 :)
-
While I do agree that killers should be the power role, I don't think they should be able to just stomp the survivors. I like the fun in the slight challenge, the only problem is gen times and OPTIMAL 4-man SWF.
-
Same happens to me :)
-
Meg... no reason really, just decided to main Meg.
Killer is Hillbilly and Wraith. Hillbilly is just a good killer to play around with and isn't entirely terrible but isn't entirely good either. Wraith because I like to change things up a bit, plus he's just fun in my opinion.

I believe Wednesday, Dec 18th.

Sorry, I'm new and don't get it. So if a killer is camping do you just say forget the teammate and continue gens?
Yup! If a killer is camping, just power through gens and escape.

this too much to comment on so I'm kepping it short nobody is using dying light anymore that give one survivor 33% speed on repair and what you think that survivor will do then yes just gen rush and if they broke ruin the game over in 2 mineven worse if that survivor happend to have no mither and resiliance,
and what makes you think I mean for killer to have 16 perks LOL no I mean killer should have 5 or 6 perks ATLEAST.
and no I'm not high or trolling maybe you should play and think from killer view not only survivors but ofc all these hate comment is from survivors players only so ye I diden't expect any good comment was just hooping devs whould actually think from killers perspective too not only survivors
Dying light doesn't give a survivor 33% increased repair speed. It only gives them 33% actions in altruistic categories (healing and unhooking).
-
Wanna know what happens when a killer camps?
They lose gens - no lightbringer
They don't chase - no chaser
They don't get anymore hooks or sacrifices - no devout
That is, if the survivors are not braindead and punish the killer for camping. They will depip as well.

So if I understand your logic correctly...
I have to stay on the ground waiting, wasting my time..., watching him troll and nodding my head continuously while I'm on the ground. Whether I use a decisive hit or not. Wasting my time of game, not being able to play with my friends, and standing there waiting 5 minutes on the floor, I hope you're kidding?!?
(TIP FOR DEV) (removing the obsession from this skill will remove this kind of troll and removing metagaming that the killer is aware that there is a decisive hit in the game)
Slugging is a valid tactic and isn't forcing you to DC, neither is it holding the game hostage. Just go watch Youtube or get a snack.

As of right now, if a Survivor successfully Unhook themselves, but the Unhook caused them to lose enough progress for their Hook bar to go below 50 %, the next time they are hooked they will automatically skip the Struggle phase and be sacrificed on the Hook.
This should not be a thing. Successfully unhooking yourself should not consume any Hook bar progress. This means that upon a successful unhook, the next time a Survivor is hooked they will always go into the Struggle phase first, before being sacrificed.
This isn't an intended thing, so it's a bug for now.
-
52, I'm confident I'll reach it to 70 by the end, especially with level 4.

To give me a good chuckle, which it did.

They've already changed a few. In my opinion challenges should have a certain difficulty... otherwise they wouldn't be "challenges" you know. The most of them are already insanely easy to do.
I would honestly like to see more specific tasks. So far we only got trapper challenges. Of course not every player has every killer, but they should do something different next season.
Well, we only got trapper challenges because this is the trapper tome.
-
I got it first try as well, just play a bit stealthier.
-
Honestly, those addons are so slight that it doesn't provide a noticeable difference. You're just better off running batteries/nothings
-
You need to time a flashlight save to the exact second, not any braindead person can do it. In this instance, you blinded too early.
-
Scratched mirror myers gets rid of his T2 and T3 for information. Do you complain about that add-on as well?
-
@LemeTheMeme said:
Why are the descriptions for the flashlight addons so vague and don't give an explanation to what they do?
This mainly goes out to the "High-End Sapphire Lens". What does "Slightly increases the Flashlight Beam" even mean? I looked up on the wiki, and it states it increases the flashlights range, but this description has been in the game for a very long time and I never understood why the description hasn't been fixed.
Also, why does the Odd bulb have a down side for what it does? It's nowhere near as good as the High-End Sapphire Lens, which gives more than just extra blindness duration.
I feel as if survivor addons and items have been in need for reworks/ rebalancing for a long time, but that is a different story, for a different thread, that I will probably end up writing.
Every add on for flashlights is useless besides batteries and the filament.
-
Still have yet to do the "No one escapes the end game" challenge. Don't plan in it either, to be honest.
-
Man... I entirely forgot about that! I want it back now.
-
Can't see it...

Wonder if self care will get buffed one day or will it remain as the worst healing perk in the game
Hopefully not, it was nerfed for a reason. Run botany with it or run a medkit.

It's bugged right now. Not intentional.
Spirit is bugged too in a similar fashion.
Nice! I was hoping that it wasn't a straight up nerf... my boy doesn't need any nerfs.

The very concept of some of these killers is strong. People in high ranks that use a killer and can't secure kills obviously don't know how to play said killer very well. While yes, some killers do need buffs/reworks, some are fine where they are. People that play them just don't know how to play them well.
Did you just say LF wasn't weak? Yeah, maybe at camping and that's it.

Yeah I play ps4 too. maybe there are differences in ranks. what rank you play m8?
I play generally around rank 3-6

I swear ppl in this thread talk like every game they play is mori time. You dont bring ebony and kill everyone after the first hook if you want to pip. #########. What is the mindset here?
So many games I play includes a mori, so many. I swear 50% of games I play include a mori of some sort (On PS4)

Unsure why you're upset with going after survivors whether they were hooked already or not. Unless you're super worried about what others think about you in end game chat. Though you're already going to get complained at because you're playing killer.
Many people (like me) prefer to not be scummy and actually play fair if we don't NEED to tunnel. I can admit though that sometimes tunneling is needed in order to eliminate a survivor to slow down the game.

1 million bp isn't even that much though.
You can literally level a character to like level 40 with that amount (if you play the bloodweb smart, that is) plus the BP added onto that you get throughout the games.
-
You literally get more than 1 million BP from tome 3.
