Have no EGC challenges.
-
Maybe because I don't want to have a completely hopeless game of 1-2 people who are practically useless.
-
The equivalent of standing in the gates.
-
Have you ever heard of a period, my good sir?
I'm honestly fine with these event cosmetics not being released, players worked for them and they should be the only ones to have them. Kind of like legacy.
-
I had a game too where I wasn't told about it. I was healing a random survivor and a lullaby skillcheck came and I just went "they have lullaby??? Since when?"
It's really how it should work though, to be honest. Honestly I would love if they wouldn't tell us if killers had a hex perk, we'd have to figure it out ourselves. I'd find so much joy in that :)

Yes, this is a rant, because I'm a bit steamed at the moment. I mean, seriously. You have a bug that literally makes the game unplayable, yet the devs keep the game going?

For those that don't know, or haven't seen it. When hooked in the basement, you get this screen. No, this isn't a bug report, there are enough of those already. This is just to call out a situation that ruins a match, just because of some bad code.
And then...
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/569/IVO7NNIW1IRM.png
...you have people that play just for the exploit. It's really soured my mood. Going to lay off the game for a few days, at least until it's fixed (hopefully this isn't another case like the sprint burst exploit where we have to wait for the mid chapter to get a fix). And it's a shame, because I was interested in seeing Oni in action. He looked like fun to go against, though personally, I don't find Oni himself all that interesting to play as.
There's a monstrous shrine challenge in the archives. He wasn't exploiting it in any way, he was getting his challenge done.
Reporting it will also do nothing, as the devs can't distinguish between who is abusing it and who isn't. You can't start punishing people for something that happens naturally during the game.
-
You can't distinguish who abuses the bug and who is not, so there's no way to punish people.

That's the reason it was removed though. To avoid lobby dodging.
If killers can dodge SWF cause it's unfair, why can't I dodge practically a 3v1?
-
Yes, I want this back. Solo survivor is already hard enough, I don't want to play with a rank 18 with 1 perk while I'm in red ranks.
-
They can't distinguish who is abusing the bug and who is not, especially since the archives has challenges to hook people in the basement.
So, no, no bans will be given out.
-
Why would you run this perk anyway?
-
Absolutely not.
-
When I get teammates that somehow are worse than useless. I can run a killer for 5 minutes and no gens are done and then I die first hook when everyone is crouching on the other side of the map miles away from the heartbeat.
Sad times.
-
I finished it when it was 2 unhooks instead of one :)
Bragging aside, the challenge is entirely up to luck. I suggest running borrowed time and grabbing a SWF of some sort, and have them willingly go down. Then just farm them off the hook with BT.
-
You're right... an odd request.

Removing the abusing of the stagger reduction isnt the issue. The issue is that the stagger reduction was the only thing that made it a mediocre exhaustion perk (its too situational to be good without it). If they added the noise reduction without exhaustion it would be moderately better but as it stands its going to be the absolute worst exhaustion perk (dedicated dead hard not withstanding). Balanced landing was only an issue on Haddonfield.
Only on Haddonfield? I'm able to abuse Ironworks, Coal Tower, the boat, the pantry, ect.
-
Yes, buff the most useless perk in the game! Devs please.
-
I don't understand why people really hate the BL nerf? The only thing you can't do anymore is abuse main buildings of any sort with the perk, and hills/harvesters don't make a difference cause they don't offer much with Balanced Landing besides the sprint boost. Just run off somewhere else.
I'm saying this as a survivor who mains BL and has for over a year, and I am fine with the changes.
-
Jane underrated!?!?
I don't think so.
-
I like playing both sides! Killer I find is a lot easier than survivor in my opinion even though I used to be a die-hard survivor main. I still play sides 50/50 though.
PS4 player as well, currently maining Wraith at Rank 5.
-
Yup!
-
I believe so.
-
The no network one gets me all the time. Other than that though, I have really no complaints. I will only start getting laggy if my PS4 has been running for a few hours, then I just restart it and its good as new.
Sometimes framerates are bad, I will admit.
-
Makes me so happy :)
Can finally so the iridescent challenge
-
30 - Zanshin tactics
35 - Blood Echo
40 - Nemesis
-
I actually did it my first try, solo nonetheless! It was a blessing from the gods.
-
We'll find out tomorrow when the DLC hits, but as of now we don't know any tweaks or so from the PTB.
-
Why I do it? To waste the killers time and bloodpoints

Just hit them. It's really not that hard, and if they're at an exit gate, you probably weren't going to get them anyway.
Key word - probably
There's been many times where I've down a survivor at an exit gate and they were just a millisecond away from escaping.
-
@Eesane said:
Just hit the person that is healing them. EZ and if they continue to try to heal hit them again and pick them up. Now you have two slugs.
plus let's say what if you were able to pick them up, they'd just have DS anyway so just hit the person healing them.
Impossible when it's at an exit gate. The survivor screwed up by not getting out when they could, except they decided to stand there. I shouldn't be ratted out of a kill because another survivor started healing them to prevent me from picking them up.
-
No.
-
Go look at a video Ussylis posted (I believe it was him), it shows everything you need to know about flashlights.
-
Pick up items/interactions = Your healing/working on generators/unhooking. I have that set as L1
Secondary Action/Skill checks = Throwing down pallets/vaulting windows/skill checks I have set as R1
You shouldn't have prioritizing between healing and pallets if you have them set differently. Man, they shouldn't have been set the same in the first place. Set them as two different buttons then you won't have a problem.
Sadly, since healing and unhooking are set as the same button you may have issues there. Just stop running self care, it's not needed.
These button layouts may not be the same as PC, but they have the same name.

You're welcome <3

Because I'm a console pleb and I can't do that.. At least as far as I know
I play on PS4, you're able to rebind keys. My healing is LB while pallets/windows are RB.
-
I have a simple solution for the healing survivor and the window/pallet one, rebind your keys. Why are they the same keys anyway?
The self-care/unhook though they need to prioritize.
-
I actually got it done my first try! I was really lucky, I even escaped as well! Sure, I farmed the survivors right off hook, but... that's fine. This was done solo survivor as well.
-
If keys are nerfed, then moris have to be nerfed with them. Simple as that.
-
The first two you mentioned are easy, just run iron grasp and agitation. For the second one just got on the survivor's but until they vault a window.
The EGC one though... is that in the same trial or can that be done separately? If it's in the same trial good luck getting that one. Impossible.
-
Killing the perk is the nerf.
-
Want to fix the haddonfield infinite? Put doorways instead of windows.
Literally fixes it.
-
Ah, yes, destroying all of our exhaustion perks. Sprint burst is stupidly bad, BL is getting nerfed, DH doesn't work with dedicated servers, and Head On is really situational. Time to use lithe, I guess.
-
Hell yeah, time to now use Deadhard cause BL is damn near useless.

Being sold separately by shady code sellers is not being sold in the store by BHVR.
???? Where was code selling brought up in any of this? We're talking about the in-game store here, code selling is irrelevent here.
-
Then you'd be pissy that they were in the store and that BHVR is trying to just make more money and scam their players.

COMPLETELY repair 3 generators. That means from 0% to 100%
False, you just have to be working on it when the generator is completed. Peanits has said so.
-
Yeah, can't see my charms on my Meg skin. Sucks :P
-
Get better, lol. It's not that hard to hit survivors trying to 360.
-
Luckily, I main hillbilly and play on PS4! Love my boy.
-
It's not that hard to understand...
Level 30-35-40 you unlock a teachable from a survivor. After unlocking the teachable, the perk can appear on everyone else's bloodwebs. It's merely up to luck(RNG) on what perks you get.
The only other way to get teachables is the shrine, where you spend 2000 shards and then it will appear on everyone else's bloodwebs as well.
