What about them? 90% of the survivors I play with hide around the map, do nothing and escape through the hatch. Or you save them, heal them, do most of the gens and the first time you get hooked, they leave you to die first hook. Had some survivors message and say it's every man for themselves. Soooo.... I no longer care.

I'm not mad; I'm precise. I pride myself on being direct and to the point. There is no way to candy coat this issue. Insisting on playing when you have unreliable internet is rude to all the other people you inconvenience. There are literally thousands of other games which are played solo, i.e. against Bots. Play one of those until your internet improves. And for the record, I don't care if the OP is a kid or an adult, good manners and good sportsmanship should start early.
More to the point, I'm being honest and pragmatic about one key thing. The disconnect penalties aren't going anywhere. Any energy and angst spent posting about them is at best venting, and at worst a waste of your time. The sooner one comes to accept that is just how things are the sooner one can move forward with options that actually matter. I want to go back to that "mad" thing, because what I actually am is "disgusted" and "amazed" that we have so many people today who care so little about others in relation to their own immediate gratification.

It's sad that you take this thread seriously. OP is complaining about getting a DC penalty when playing during bad weather. BHVR is not responsible for the weather in your area. It's not BHVR's fault you dc'ed because of the weather. If we turned off the DC penalty every single time someone around the world had bad weather then there wouldn't be a dc penalty at all. This entire thread is a joke and I was pointing that out by stating the obvious.

- You are CHOOSING to play anyway, correct?
- The other Players who have their games screwed over by you are being inconvenienced, correct?
Do you see where I'm going with this? If you know you are having issues, you should not be playing until said issues are corrected. YOU are making a choice which you know will cause other people grief. That IS under your control, and thus the responsibility is YOURS.

You're responsible for your on fun. That's hilarious.... Tell me... How do you control hitboxes (actually being hit from the back of the car while the killer is at the front)? Then being camped by killers who are happy that these glitches are helping them out. Bots on the internet? Now that's funny. Aren't you commenting your opinion just like everyone else. 🤣🤣 thanks for the paragraph saying absolutely nothing. You obviously can't read or better yet interpret what we're talking about. Right now we're in a state of emergency. Ask I said about being penalised is. They should take it off right now during the winter storm. You're talking about entitlement yet in the same sentence tell people what they should play during these troubling times. Oh I GET IT NOW.... YOU'RE NOT EFFECTED BY WHAT'S GOING IN SO YOU DON'T CARE. If that's the case then continue not caring and also not commenting to me. Regardless if I'm the one being affected or not, I can sympathise with others.

Also, I've gotten disconnected 3xs do to the outages and get penalised each time. You would think Devs would put DC penalties in hold until after this winter storm but that's too much to ask for.

No they aren't. DC penalties was created to help tunnelling camping killers out. Killers complained that survivors was DCing and messing up their camping and tunnelling fun. After all... It's all about the killers having fun right?

I get what you're saying. I'm not trying to feel better about myself I just want to be able to play a good match. Today all I've got is people suiciding n the first hook. At the very beginning. Leaving 2 to do 5 gens.

You need to place an in-game report to follow it up with a ticket submission to the support team, so keep that in-mind.

Reports do help, they're received and looked into when submitted by a player. If you feel that this requires more help, than you can submit a ticket above with the proper evidence.
Of course this has already been said, but it's just a clarification.
Thanks for the insight. I've only been playing a couple of months. I don't know how to do video recording. Do you have to start recording at the beginning of matches? I play on a console.

But why do survivors lose pip? If you don't get any altriusm you lose pip but it's hard to do when they're camping and down you also. So you're being forced to be a team player and the killers know this.
