Demogorgon has Shred to make loops dangerous and a mobility tool.
He's far better than the Twins.
A mobility tool that needs to be setup. Yes shred helps against loops but so does Victor Oh and he IS the mobility tool. Is demo better than giving credit? Yes. FAR better than twins **** no. They have not been out for long and just got some help today they are very dangerous if used correctly.

Now that the has met the checkpoint of functioning I want to aske the question: What is the point of her?
- What is the point of Victor attaching to a Survivor when you can pull him of in a few Seconds without even having to stop? How good can it be if you had to implement a feature to stop him being attached?
- Why have it that you can crush Victor when you down someone? All that leads to is that you can´t use him against survivor traffleing together, cause every time you down one of them they´ll crush you and have the guy picked up till you get there.
- What is the point of Hoarder now that you removed the reduced item rarety? If it was map wide and mabye gave a survivor opening a chest exposed or oblivius it might atleast be interessting to use but now it just gives more items to survivors in exchange for being possibley the worst information perk
- Why is coup de grace? Why have a perk that gives you a longer lunge with limited uses with out input from the killer when to use them?
In conclusion I think the Killer could use some improvments:
- Have Victors Aura visable imideatly opon being attached and have a survivor stand still the entire time he removes Victor or have Victor stay on the survivors back for some time before being able to be removed so the killer can attleast has the chance to get to the survivor before he can just rip of Victor
- Have it so that if Victor downs someone he can not be crushed so that survivor aren´t save just because the are close together.
- Like I already said have it be map wide and have some sort of effect on survivors who open chests.
- Make coup de grace like fire up. For every gen 10% longer lunge.
I never have these issues I jump on there back and Momma on the way and because of that they will do there best to get him off since he will alert her of the locations of teamates. Pluse it's an easy down and pickup (the guy with vic). Twins are fun hate their bp gains tho and emblems geez hope they did/do something to help with that.

Agreed. Freddy biggest counter is the survivors snapping there fingers. Then his snares, lullaby/oblivious, dream pallets, slowdown ropes, all that are doing NOTHING. BUT LETS NERF HIM BECAUSE SNAPPING YOUR FINGERS IS TOO COMPLICATED.

I like it. Would swap demo for twins. They are much better than people think. Now that most of there bugs are worked out their going to be even more dangerous especially the mini blood warden victor gets. I had 4 survivors escape just in the little bit I used the twins over the weekend they got cocky at end and I jumped on their back wit vic then smacked them down with Big Momma just for them to crawl out while I wipe my blade. I was upset. I don't like the 10 second locker hold though not sure if that's going to be enough.

I wouldn't mind a basement update. Give it a secret exit point. Make it so there's only one unbreakable hook. The game is now designed to punish killers for camping so they need to update this aspect of the maps.
Oh and also yes there is a small decrease in one emblem for being to close to a hooked survivor but I can't tell you how many facecamping killer I have played against and they still score 30k BP just get a gold emblem instead of a red.

If your trying to loop the killer at the basement shack you know the risk if you get caught. The basement is fine the way it is. If I'm going to haul a survivor down there I'm going to utilize it. There is always a gen or 2 near by so I will patrol and hopefully see scratch marks so I can follow down or meet them at the top of the stairs when the rescue is made. Like someone said above you get 2 hooked down there very hard for them to recover you probably won.

How are you supposed to do this challenge with a killer you never play?
I'm rank 1 due to my mains. I'm not good with Billy (at all). Rank 1 survivors know how to dodge a master Billy. How am I supposed to gap that bridge? I think you guys need to factor this in when designing challenges. I like a challenge and all, but this seems impossible in my case.
I rarely ever use Billy and every single one of his rest challenges I have gotten in one game just walk up to a generator smack it a few times let the survivors know you want to be friends and they should be more than willing to let you chain saw them a couple of times

Look on the bright side: There's plenty of dead zones for survivors with no pallets. It's bad for both sides so that's fair at least
Plenty of dead zones where there's no pallets for survivors? Where is this? I'll play the offerings. Half my game is kicking pallets gotten so annoying that I just used deathslinger for the first time in forever so that I can shoot you before there dropped.

No it was up once for like a day or two and then I took it down cuz it wasn't working properly for everyone. It worked a terrible for my hunter's but works great for my play those are the only two characters I got to test it on before they took it down

1) Coulrophobia, Distressing, Forced Penance, Sloppy Butcher.
2) Franklins, Hoarder, Blood Echo, Mindbreaker.
Hey clown I noticed you mentioned you ran hoarder in another post I thought this perk was bugged. Could have sworn they said it does not notify you if they open the basement chest also I experimented with it in a custom match and it gave me no notifications. I'm assuming since you're using it that it's working fine for you? To me this perk is her best perk but I haven't used it because I was told and experienced bugs

I don't know what you're talkin about every time I try to FaceCamp for my last kill it never works grabs are trash so people just walk up right in my face and unhook. yesterday I tried to Camp during the end game went halfway through the grab animation and then made me swing. They got away

I agree they are fun, but am already seeing signs of red ranks making it really hard to pounce. They will have to fix the pounce cool down and ridiculous switch time to make this long term viable.
When you jump on someone's back and it takes 5 seconds to switch but they can be thrown off in 8, sometimes I don't even get Charlotte pointed in the right direction before he's tossed off. Stupid.
Yeah I agree and then it's sometimes already hard enough to find the Survivor that he pounced on to begin with the Killer Instinct only pops up when it feels like it.

So I went from being bullied to starting to dominate. I’ve even had games where I snowball so hard in the beginning of the game that no gens get done, and I’m still only using Coup De Gráce, Hoarder, and Oppression.
Not since finally understanding and refining Clown have I felt so menacing in a chase. Sure there’s the odd kidnap here and there, but it’s genuinely not been as harmful on my ability to pressure the other survivors as I presumed it would.
Importantly, their ability is damn good fun to use. It’s such a hoot.
I agree clown they are very fun I wasn't going to try them until they were 100% fixed but I ended up getting Green Barbecue as I was leveling them up so I said what the hell. They are very fun I don't really like their blood point gains. I can do the exact same in a game with them as I do with clown and earn 30 to 40000 more with clown but very fun though. Can't wait for the victor exit gate bug to be fixed it would be a lot more dead survivors if it wasn't for that bug

Strange. I wonder if the volume of perks added is just starting to make the og one's processor have an aneurism.
Only consistent issue i run into is lobby issues. Every few games in swf, someone in party will leave lobby on our screens but not theirs or for 3 of us itll say we're looking for match but then the 4th will be like "you guys gonna ready?
Only way to fix it is to restart the entire game or we'll sit in lobby forever.
yeah this is always been an issue since I've played dead by daylight even if I'm just playing with one other person. I hopped into a custom match with one other person the other day to test out a perk to see if it had synergy with another perk and it did it in a Lobby in a freaking custom match with one other person

And that's the issue is not every killer has the tools to deal with it and I don't want to have to run the same certain perks every game. I'm not the type of killer who feels I have to get 4 kills every game but I also don't want to have no kills every game. A lot of time I do it to myself I'll have two or three survivors on death hook and instead of just eliminating one I'll go for that person that didn't get hooked yet if that makes sense I don't know slippery slope try to be as Fair as possible and screw myself in the end I guess I don't think the Gen X in the balance of every killer leaves your room to be as Fair as possible

I still think that the gen times can be balanced, at least on the more balanced maps that is of course. High tier killers at least have tools to combat the fast time.
I think the bigger problem is that despite them being potentially balanced, games as killer can still be very stressful just because the game is balanced around how fast gens can go. And when you add the other frustration into this game, like the many bugs, things just get frustrating.
And that's the issue is not every killer has the tools to deal with it and I don't want to have to run the same certain perks every game. Whether they're safe or not does not matter not sure what they were thinking on that one. sound is ridiculous. Ormond I have not seen since it has been redone so I cannot give my opinion on that. But overall even with half of the things not working I do like the twins so far.
Got caught up on talking about the twins but I also forgot about gens sure seems like they go very fast like I personally want to run other perks and I try to do that because I take into consideration the survivors having fun as well but if I do that The Gens fly off the board incredibly fast if I decide I want to chase a survivor. Sure feels like if you want to chase survivors you got to have massive slow down perks

I think you’re right. Clown is a terrible killer, and has no map pressure. I don’t care if people get pissed at me for bringing a toxic build, so I might as well bring NOED if that means I can get any kills lol. I’ll probs start bringing ruin, undyinging, enduring and bbq or ruin, undying, NOED and enduring
Everyone has their own experiences and need different perks/styles to win so you have to find what works best for you on clown. I personally really like Clown and think he's much much better than you think. I personally don't run chase perks on him i don't believe he needs them the bottles are all you need. I run exhausted bottles and carry extra bottles. So I focus on slowdown/tracking due to the map pressure/size of most maps and BBQ for the BP's. Just play around with your slowdown combo's but I like sloppy on him and he is one of the rare killer I like Dying light on cause I get quick stacks.

Dead in 2 minutes, what a fun match.
Tunneling right off the bat is trash. No need for it problem is my fellow Killers feel the only way to win is to get 4 kills it just isn't true. 2 kills is balanced 3 kills is a Win 4 kills is a fantastic game. Now I just had a game Jen's were flying off the board big map I was having some struggles I would met I'm sure I wasn't playing my best game get down to one gen all four survivors are left it was a yui that I could tell wasn't as good as the others so went for the quick elimination because anybody can hold one button an kill generators that bought me enough time to get two more.
-
Sure 1-2 gens left have to make a play I get it maybe go for a quick elimination (tunnel). 1 gen or EGC have to camp I get it but here's my issue and I play 90% killer. Last night I had to switch over to survivor to knock out some rift challenges at this point in time was doing the 10 unhooks (killer challenges done so could get to it) decided to use my cheryl she still has anniversary cakes and has a maxed WGLF so good BP. Gets better the killer play a anni cake too so I'm like so excited at this point what's the odds in a solo match. Proxy camping/ tunneling trapper at 5 gens like #########? bro at five gens. He caught a Kate at beginning at it appeared as tho he left but he had just walked like 20 meters and came straight back each time to go straight to unhooked not unhooker. Everytime this happens I can never ask them they always seem to be crossplay.

@Adjatha said:
I bought the game in the first place specifically for Pyramid Head. After a few hundred hours playing it, Pyramid Head feels terrible to play. His shockwave is the only decent part of his kit, and it is trivial to juke for any player that is looking at the red stain. His torment trails are embarrassingly useless and all but TWO of his addons affect them, basically meaning he's a killer with no addons. Moreover, almost all his stuff seems to be focused on being Undetectable for some reason, as if the lack of a terror radius makes up for the fact that he's gigantic, makes a ton of noise by just walking, and using his power in any way is as loud as a generator exploding.
What feels even worse is that the inevitable response is "actually, pyramid head is really good because he can blah blah loops." No. That doens't make him good. Having a thing that makes loops slightly less safe if the killer flawlessly performs a trick AND the survivor isn't paying any attention at all is a terrible power, much less that the recovery is so long that the survivor may as well be getting a free Sprint Burst every time you miss with it. Or "actually, his torment is super strong because it negates all the survivor hook perks." No again. It takes so much time to set torment trails, they can't be set in the spots every other trap can, AND there's a very severe hard cap on how many trails you can have and how long before they fade away. The only time people get tormented is if they run over your trail in a loop, which is, at best, one person at a time. The killer instinct alert is so short as to be pointless, the trail neither damages nor slows, torment does not affect player actions in any way, rescuing from a cage removes up to two instances of torment making you have to start the whole process over again, and even if you DO get a cage off, you're shutting down all the killer-hook perks as well as just shipping them off to be grabbed by the survivors working on gens far away from you.
The core idea of the killer powers is so neat, yet what I can only assume is the result of endless survivor complaints has delivered a wildly under-utilized kit that boils down to "short range huntress." The fact that the last attention he got was in the form of a shockwave nerf with zero buffs to his torment trails or his totally worthless addons kinda tells me that the developers are fine with where he's at, which is a tremendous disappointment for me.
There are lots of fun killers to play and I really wish that the guy who got me into the game in the first place was one of them.
I was really starting to thing I was the only one who felt this way about PH. Yes cages are useful againt this and that but negate my favorite slowdowns (pop, dying light) and other general hook idea perks. Agree about the trails as well. PH just not one of my favs right now.

First, I know exactly how tilting this game can get, so I sympathise.
Secondly, you need to focus on some self care by doing a few things you absolutely know are good for your mental health, and know from experience will lift your mood.
Thirdly, it’s ok to take breaks/breathers from this game from time to time. DBD is my favourite game too, but like others sometimes this game also drives me crazy. So I’ll have a break when my head gets that bad.
And lastly, set yourself gaming sessions where you stop focusing on winning. I went through a frustrating period with Clown at one point where I had to “go back to the drawing board”. I started playing him without any perks or add ons, and just committed myself to one thing only to practice. I was doing this before cross play so I could message the survivors and explain what I was doing, and ask that they use all their best chase skills and to not go easy on me.
One gaming session all I did was practice direct bottle hit accuracy for every game in every chase. Never hitting. Never downing. Just practicing how to be accurate at a distance while still chasing.
Another session I just focused on how I can best use a bottle at every loop to guarantee a hit before the survivor can do another lap and either vault or pallet stun me.
Another was focusing on predicting where ahead of survivors I should throw bottles.
Eventually it led to a whole new set of skills and understanding of Clowns power.
Sometimes it’s also healthy to periodically play matches where I do nothing but be stupidly silly in the match. They de stress me A LOT.
Despite everything I’ve said here it’s extremely important for mental health to accept that this is the sort of game where it doesn’t matter how good at it any player gets, no one will ever get so good that they’ll never lose again. An expectation of getting so good you’ll normally always win will only lead to frustration and misery, because it’s simply not possible with all the random factors that contribute to how a match will play out.
Hope this helps. Wish you the best. Be kinder to yourself.
Great advice. I also do the "lets just have some fun game" here and there to decompress. Really easy to do when you careless about rank. Ive noticed that as Ive been doing this it has carried over just a little bit into my regular games and this game/survivors/killers do not bother me the way they used to. now I just have to teach my rage quiting dc happy son who just got grounded AGAIN for dcing in a match. Ya that's right I got your guys back for real dc in my house = grounding.

I get they want data, but the game is already stressful enough to play. Then to disable Bloodlust on top of that, when it's needed in maps like Autohaven, Haddonfield, and the Elementary School just to catch survivors around the long and ridiculously close loops. There is no point putting yourself through that additional stress.
I'm sure I'm not the only one making this decision. Most probably won't say anything, especially since when anyone voices anything killer related they just get dismissed.
Anywho. This kind of 'test' should of been done on the PTB, not the main game. The main game should be used for the best experience, not making harder on the most stressful role just for data.
I think it will help me leave chases quicker when there are 4 survivors and go apply more pressure on gens in early game but what I am worried/curious about is once I eliminate my first I ussually commit more to a chase at that point. How long will it take to get survivors down later in games with certain killers? I prestige 3 my bubba last weekend and had my daughter pick my next killer to do and she picked spirit .... I know right but I suck with her at least for now. I use her power scratch marks are delayed by a sec or two so there useless, I don't use a headset, I did just get max stridor but have not tried but point is if I don't get lucky and lland right on top of them she is incredibly slow in a chase and will take forever to catch someone. I have to learn her power better this weekend for sure.

So he really don't like his boss and kept a piece so what. Still how many lives does he save by killing the boss? Any ones guess just cuz he has a unique weapon don't change my opinion on the matter.

Not every killer had the desire to kill!
Evan MacMillan (Trapper) - Was only doing his father's bidding until The Entity snatched him up made him kill
Sally Smithson (Nurse) - Was corrupted and brainwashed into killing all 50 patients by the Entity
Lisa Sherwood (Hag) - Did what she had to do to survive
Susie (Legion) - The most innocent one in the gang who was peer pressured into killing
Lets not forget wraith thought he was just crushing cars. When he found out his boss was putting bodies in them he killed his boss and disappeared or cloaked as you would. Never killed an innocent.

If you're a good killer, the highest Bloodlust you should get is lvl 1. Otherwise, you're overcommitting to a chase and need to go. Only time you should hit 2 or 3 if it's the last survivor who, at that point, is pretty much dead anyway.
The only thing this will really affect is that some strong loops just became stronger (cow tree, any Haddonfield building, Ormond, etc). Otherwise, it'll be the same old.
Well I must be doing something right as killer because i didn't know Bloodlust went past teir 1 and I use all killers.

I've been playing the game for a few months passively, and all I have been getting is sweaty matches where I 0K or 1K since I got to purples. To me, this is a sign that I should NOT be this rank. But because of how often I get brutal when I really should be depipping, the game artificially props me up to this rank that I think I don't deserve.
This may just be an issue of killer being too hard to play in general for noobs and that there is a high relative population of strong survivors compared to killers, I don't know. All I know is that I shouldn't have to purposely depip to get matches that are actually competitive (sometimes wins, sometimes losses).
Why isn't there an option for -2? This might be the most egregious issue. If I get curb stomped two games in a row, then get one game where I play very well and +2, this still should not be net neutral. I should be ATLEAST -1, it is literally two losses to 1 win.
I don't know why I'm even ranting about this. I think this game is just too hard to get into. Every match as killer is frustrating to no end and with the amount of great survivors I run into I hardly ever get anything done. I just don't have fun because of it. I dont even know why I play at this point.
Ya the rank system works on emblems not kills. Ive had games with 4 kills and did plus 1, and games with no kills and only 2 hooks and still didn't get a -1. I don't believe thats how it should work I don't think I should rank up with no kills and just 2-3 hooks just because I kicked some gens and got in a bunch of chases. Obviously I played terrible that game.

It’s not just a bug. (Although I’m not contesting that sometimes this is I fact due to a bug).
Presumably there is also a hack that allows a player to see what’s been loaded into the match via the game files (or something like that). They see something they don’t like? They can trick the game into thinking they DC’d during the loading screens, avoiding the DC penalty.
This has happened in MANY of my matches for nearly a month now.

Why would I play as a killer I don't find fun to play as or against when I could play Nurse or Pyramid Head or Freddy or Wraith tho? At least then I'd have some fun.
Also Poe's law applies when it isn't obvious something is satire. I think by atting the devs and asking them to tell people dcs have decreased it made it pretty obvious it was satire.
Edit:didn't realise the first part wasn't directed to me, sorry
I understand your logic. Is Killers I don't like facing myself hard to pick just one if I had to it would probably be hag but I use all killers or at least plan to blight and nurse I'm saving for last once I have everybody else P3 I'm currently at 800 hours and I have Huntress Bubba Freddy Wraith at P3 everyone else at P1 I also have five or six survivors at P1 but I like to do one at a time so I can actually learn them and get better with them

Yeah that seems like the thing me and @Aven_Fallen@Aven_Fallen described, where it takes the game a second to realise oh ######### someone dced and then it cancels in a bit.
Edit: the forums for mobile are amazing and tagging is bugged sorry Aven for the double at lmao
Gotcha. I've just been seeing a lot of death Slinger post lately assume the worst. Sucks it's happen multiple matches in a row

If the game ends, this means that someone DCed/crashed in the Loading Screen and the game takes longer to realize that. So even if you load in, it might be possible that one person did not load in and the game will be cancelled, even tho the other players are already playing.
If a person DCs while the match is going (and all 5 players loaded in), the game will not be cancelled.
Which Daily is it? Mori-Daily?
Spear, reel, and hit 5

Also do correct me if I'm wrong, but considering how the OP is saying that "people are disconnecting and causing the game to end." they're actually referring to the bug that causes one person to disconnect from host while loading, and then the game cancels with an error 500 (Player disconnected from the game while loading) between 30 seconds to 3 minutes later. Not people just DCing because of Slinger, but because this game is perfect.
Yeah possible the first one I walked all the way across the map and there were three of them I shot one real them to the window hit him walked around the window while reloading hit him again reloading knock him down walked away to let the team heal cuz they were just standing there looking at and then the game ended second one I found a Jake shot him at a pallet hit him he ran away I shot him at a vault game ended
