Alright, so hear me out, guys.
As a Wraith main from the onset, I've played with a plethora of perks, addons, and playstyles, but I have yet to find any kit that is more hilarious, stupid, and just downright fun to play with than what I've dubbed: Fast Feet Wraith.
The build itself is simple enough, so without further ado, allow me to introduce you to Shadow Dance: Blood, and Shadow Dance: White. Pair these two with Brutal Strength and Bamboozle, and you can vault at the speed of a Survivor's fast vault, while also being able to break pallets, doors, and pop generators within 1/5th of a second.
Survivors who don't see it coming will bait out your game with pallets, but then you smash the thing to dust in less than a second and they go on the panic. They vault windows and you just vault right after them, no hassle, no fuss.
Those who do see it coming will bait you into decloaking, so you fake the decloak and break the pallet when it drops.
In short, I have never had so much raw, wholesome fun ppaying Wraith, and this build is surprisingly powerful, since Wraith is already a chase Killer with a stealth advantage.
Tell me what you guys think of this build when you play it, my personal build is:
Shadow Dance: Blood, Shadow Dance: White, BBQ, Bamboozle, STBFL, and PGTW.
Lol I am so trying this. Just to laugh harder I'm swapping STBFL with Fire up.

The problem that I'm referring to is the sound aspect of being sick, when I play survivor I usually play between a couple that I have all the perks on, Dwight is not one of them, but I've been playing him recently. I've played the game since before the Plague was added but I just had my first game against her as Dwight and let me tell you, his sick sounds are DISGUSTING I mean it was almost funny except that it wasn't, it's pretty gross and ridiculous, especially when on a gen he's literally throwing up every 2 seconds.
I play killer about as much as I play survivor I don't main anyone, I play variety with half the roster and rarely play as Plague but sometimes play as everyone (usually for challenges). The few games that I've played with Plague it always seems like the survivors are sick of the game (pun intended), I mean it's obvious that no one wants to listen to their character throwing up all the time which will happen any time the survivors try to deny the Plague her upgraded power (red puke), in fact I'd say the Plague is flawed from a design standpoint for that alone. I can only imagine some of the other sick sounds that exist in this game that I just haven't heard because Plague isn't that common and I usually play the same survivors (who happen to not have it as bad as Dwight and maybe others).
To summarize my point: Throw up sounds are so obnoxious on some survivors that it really should be changed, If they just removed the sound completely and made survivors leave a trail of slime while infected it would be a lot better, you can't hide while sick anyway even with Iron will, this change would make playing as Plague a little bit different but still as strong and survivors can just not listen to their character throw up all the time, seems like a win win but I'm sure the first reply will be someone saying it could never work. My reply to such a comment would be that the slime trail could be a green bloodhound effect and wouldn't be that hard to implement.
Thank you for coming to my DED Talk.
That's it time to break out the Plague tonight. She will be my main until I see you in a Match :)

Even for cosmetics in a game there are times where refunds make sense. Example: BHVR changing cosmetic prices one day after releasing them with no announcement. I don't feel OP's claim is a good refund reason but I do feel that situations like that most definitely are. And what happened in those situations? People were not refunded. Because BHVR has a terrible refund policy. It isn't as if it can't be amended. They choose to have one. Another thing that in regards to cosmetics would be amateurish mistakes like clipping, distortions, etc. Those aren't petty reasons. They're legitimate problems with quality control and shady business practices.
As for the "I didn't like it" reason: Amazon is a prime example(No pun intended) of a company that has a good refund policy. Steam allows returns in under 2 hours of playtime. EA allows you to refund within a similar window of time. The bios don't matter for characters. They have no influence whatsoever. You can watch videos but those videos to not express feeling. You don't know if something feels right to you unless you try it. The one thing you can say is that PTB is possible for that. Even then, because the PTB doesn't have the release ready character that is likely not going to be right.
The bio of a character has the power and active abilities. Everything that character can do in a nutshell that is supposed to make them different from other characters. It's the first thing I looked at when I got the game. I'm not saying Bhvr don't mess up but I believe they do there best to correct what they can. Are there things that still need fixed? Yes! Are there things that have needed fixed for far too long? Yes! A return policy should be towards the bottom. Your also comparing Bhvr/DBD to Amazon/Steam/EA like really? I think there are more pressing issues in this game than a return policy lol. Darkness/color, bugs to killers/perks, maps, sound, hit validation/ auto aim, list goes on. I would also like to shout out my personal vendetta with Bhvr right now with these LIMITED codes they are releasing around the same time in morning/noon time frame (east coast) and the fact that the first shift essential worker has no shot of ever getting these. How about switching things up once in awhile BHVR?
-
@Ohnoes said:
There are many businesses out there that actually have good refund policies. Especially when it is the company that screws something up. This one doesn't. Why people grandstand for BHVR on it is beyond me.
Sure there are but we are talking about characters and cosmetics in a game. Pretty straight forward there. And most buisness don't let you return something and buy something else just because oh i took it home, opened it, used it, didn't like it, i think I want to buy this one instead, or you should give me it for FREE which the OP said. The only one I know is walmart that does this but that's all ive seen. As for Dbd you can read the bio of characters, watch videos (YT,Twitch, Etc), forums, all kinds of various ways to find out info on characters before you buy. And 4.49 each is cheap and most can be bought with shards. Cosmetics are obvious. Not sure why a return would be needed. Sounds petty. Like these posts.

[¬⏠¬] They should atleast lower the price for buying characters then or even make them free. I already payed 20 bucks for this game..
Lol it's a buisness. We need to to keep the game fresh and updated. If we want to continue playing this game then no these character and cosmetics should not be free. Those of you that can't afford them or that just don't want to buy/support them then just don't. At the same time don't make ridiculous claims like this please and Thank you. Enjoy the game :)

Undying+Ruin = easy 4k
pay to win Freddy+tinkerer= easy 4k
spirit = 4k if you are more than 5 years old and have 2 braincells
bad killer + noed = easy 2/3k
camper against solos = easy 4k
tunnelers against solos = 4k
3k + slugging for the 4k = 4k
killers don’t need to find survs, they have dozens of perks, hitting survs is easier with new killers, map reworks are so killer sided, totems are more difficult to find.
I have more than 3.000 hours and this game is so killer sided I can’t imagine why surv play as solos
hmmm I guess that's my issue? I like to use all my killers, don't camp, don't tunnel, I give hatch, and don't use noed. I have played more than 3.000 hours tho which is a fancy way of saying 3 hours. Think you meant 3,000 SUPERSTAR.
-
I enjoy playing clown but have trouble 4k against solid organized teams. I can down quick but feel map pressure lacks. Maybe I need to pick better times to slug or maybe my loadout is not right. I do best with ether and bleach but I enjoy using Tattoo's finger to me it's like having I'm all ears built in.
-
@Clevite said:
IDK if OP is the right word. It can be really strong. I have had games where it lasts all game, and usually they end in a 4k. I have also spawned in, seen a survivor on my totems, and by the time I crossed the map, both were gone.
So it has the potential to be really strong, but at the same time can be destroyed very early in the game. The higher the ranks of the competitors, the higher the odds it will be destroyed quickly.
I think the only thing that needs to go is the aura being shown.
Mine is broke I never see aura's. So this wouldn't effect me anyway. lol
-
@Todgeweiht said:
Not OP but can be overwhelmingly strong against non coordinated groups. Against a good billy or blight its borderline unfair.
I only played survivor this weekend and only seen undying/ruin twice. I play solo and sometimes will have a 2nd party member. When we notice ruin I tell him to stay on gens I get the totems. Both games it was cleansed with 3 gens left. No perks to help with it just awareness for the possibility of it. It's not OP when you spawn in and touch that gen that you crank in the first 30 seconds just double tap to see if there is ruin that way you can check for bones (as a team) as you move through the map rest of game.
-
Slinger? Freddy? would much rather play them then the Insidius Mike, and Bubba, Silent trap hag, Camping wraith, fathers glasses/Stridor spirit, all of which I got this weekend.
-
I had to do the 10 stuns challenge this weekend so i equiped head-on to help get it done faster. Only took 3 games and 6 of the stuns were from head on. Only had one instance where it didn't work right and he grabbed me before I could jump out. Did notice if you intereupt a killers chase with it it's a good way to be tunneled. lol
-
Yeah I haven't seen one of those in Forever it's definitely level-based. Sometimes when a new killer comes out it tells U.
-
Clown can be really strong with ether and bleach. Helps him get Downs extremely fast they still has trouble getting around the map to apply pressure but getting down so fast definitely helps. I a purple ether and a purple cigar box the other day and got a favorable map (size) I also have a Max brutal strength and it really seems unfair but you should not have to have certain add-ons and certain perks to make them that way he is complete butt without add-ons or with certain add-ons and without special perks
-
Why is the struggle phase not skill checks yet like the cage of atonement?
-
Yeah that does suck. I'm a killer main but I play Survivor during the rift for the challenges and I personally feel that the struggle phase needs changed. I have died three times today screwing over teammates coming for the rescue because I did not pound my remote hard enough or Break It that are the server didn't register the button and I died on hook.

Oni is the strongest killer but his perks range from niche to terrible.
Ghosty is a decent killer with 1 awesome perk, 1 really good perk, and 1... that is a contender for worst perk in the game.
Twins are... no one can agree on how good/bad they are. Their best perk is easily Oppression, and that's only decent at best.
Ghostface - 1 awesome perk (thrilling) sure, 1 really good perk (I'm all ears) on some killers can be really good), but 3rd perk Furtive chase no where near worst perk in game. Now that mori's are complete waste of time when I get a mori daily furtive and rancor is my build and look can still do a BP offering and do BBQ. Anytime a person is rescue the obsession changes and my terror radius is lowered by 16 meters in a chase which can cause some issues if people arent to careful. Sure not the best perk and niche but far from worst.
-
I also enjoy twins the most but Oni is the best. No matter how bad your playing/how good the survivors are, map rng, etc the game can be over in a flash against oni.

I don't see the problem. I have dwight, claudette, feng, and nea and p3 50 with all perks and I've only been playing since April 2020.. I also have spirit, doc and trapper p3 50 with all perks. Maybe do the challenges?
That's around the time I have been playing and I have freddy, huntrees, wraith, spirit and bubba P3. The rest are P1 except nurse and Blight. All survivors except felix and elodie are p1 just shy of p2. The anniversary cakes I took big advantage of and as someone said above killers do get more BP. i also only use a killer in my roster who currently has BBQ. I feel it's a wasted game if not. I would be farthur but I do work a 8-5 job and have 4 kids to take care of so the grind can be done. Oh and the rifts pump out BP too.

Also I forgot to mention she brought Balanced Landing and Haddonfield map. Very good manners.
I played on Haddonfield 3 out of 4 games last night. Wish that map would be removed. Had a rough start but got to the point where it was my Oni vs a Nea and Meg but they were camping hard and I couldn't find them. I found Nea working a gen eventually and downed her with fury. Hooked her and waited at hatch but no one came. So I eventually closed it. One of the gates was right in my Line of sight in middle of street so I turned left and walked in between houses to to back then turned left to look at other gate and meg had gate opened already and was teabagging outside the gate. Like 2 things came to mind you better have wake up when I look at you loadout and you still had 2 gens left why you teabagging I could have slugged the nea went for 4k. BTW no wake up no clue how she opened that gate so fast. I'm sure she was on it when I closed hatch but she had it opened by the time I walked from steet to back of house makes no sense.

-When you get hit by a killer. Sprinting towards a hooked survivor for a YOLO isnt smart play.
-you could probably help save someone instead of insta running out the gate?
KILLERS
using broken ultra rare add ons doesnt make you a good killer, it just makes for a boring quick game on both sides.
pigs- do you really need to tunnel trapped surviivors?
wraiths - you know we can see you standing in the corner by hook?
bubba's/trappers - there's more to life than basement builds.
you guys are the worst for tunnel/camping. please learn some eticate.
Help us make the game more enjoyable so we dont have to turn off cross-play all the time.
Also most ultra rares are basic the ones that aren't if they want to use them so what. They bought them.
Pigs - Aren't required to ignore you just because you have an RBT.
Wraith/trapper/bubba- Bought the game just like you either counter or play something else.

Now, I don't want to camp survivors but when I get matches like these, I kinda have to. It's not that I want survivors to be nerfed, I would like it if the matchmaking to put me against players that didn't force my hand. I know that's asking a lot (and yes, I rage like the best of them in settings like this, but cool off quickly), but it's wishful thinking.
And this match wasn't an outlier tonight for me. Three of them including this one forced me to camp to get even one measly kill.
I've openly admitted I'm far from the best player in this game, I actively go out of my way to not play toxic, so to all those that do complain...in these situations, I don't have much of a choice.
I wasn't even going to mention matchmaking I've been leveling up some of the killers that I haven't used very much but I really want to learn so twins, clown, Mike, Pig, DS, and oni. Definitely a learning curve with all of them so matchmaking has just made it even worse for some reason it thinks I should use these characters in a tournament and giving me opponents up to eight ranks ahead of me. Mike I either have a great game or get completely smashed, oni i love I think he is spectacular, Pig I have done fantastic with was blessed with the undying hex ruin combo with her which buys me sometime to practice with her and actually get to play but the rest that is just been interesting to say the least
-
So lately I've had a couple of instances where I hit an injured Survivor and they don't go down and no they weren't unhooked with borrowed time I know they weren't slugged and got up with soulgaurd. But I just chalked it up as well maybe when they vaulted the date hit themselves with a styptic agent real quick however just hopped over and played some Survivor with a teammate who actually has a TV right next to mine. During the game he was hit buy clown with sloppy butcher and when the chase ended he healed instantly no teammates nearby and no Med kit

It's not just you, I've been getting stomped as a survivor too, I haven't made it out of a single game, it's either a really bad team, a selfish team, a camping killer or a good a good one. not to mention all the other technical BS that comes with games of DBD.
this game has given me no breaks today a all. It feels like I'm the only one trying to do gens and one match I was ditched on the ground by someone with a key and their friend. I saw where the hatch was, there was no way I was getting there.
let's see the killers I've been against today. Leatherface twice, the spirit twice pyramid head 3 times Myers once. Freddy once, doctor once and even a plague where no one made an attempt to save me at all. I just want to get my adepts back. that I already had.
Yeah most of that is just dumb people that sucks 2 when that happens but when stuff is out of your control because the game is bugged out that is when I get frustrated. Most of the stuff I've been able to just deal with and get around but this auto aim really needs to get gone.

Last night hooked a Meg in the basement with the twins. She was pretty good took me a little longer than ussual to catch her but I had some extra time cause others weren't as good. I don't facecamp in the basement but I'm a firm believer if your going to haul someone down there you shouldn't go too far so you can catch others. Well there was 2 gens nearby so I patrolled them and when I heard unhook went back and went after the nancy (unhooker) the Meg decided she wanted to follow and run in front/body block so I smacked her down and then had to catch back up with nancy. I hooked Nancy not long after. Went back found Meg still crawling around so I picked her up and got stunned. I chased her until she was dead (2 more hooks). The rest I hooked 1 at a time to maximize points and I wanted to let the nea go at hatch (we were face to face) but I closed it (kill 20 rift challenge) so I message her to let her know why. I always let 4th go but I need those rift points sorry:) She said it's OK you were fair and nice killer but Meg messaged and nice GG tunneling camping trash. Nea told me they were in a party together I thought it was funny to to opposite opinions. I did tunnel her though but I'm not a fan of DS being used for offense. i let you out of the basement and went for unhooker, I slugged you went you came at me, went after someone else and hooked them, allt he things the survivors say to do to avoid DS and still got hit after all that. So BYE Meg

The most obvious example is Stridor on Spirit. STBFL is good on killers like Deathslinger and Trapper, who can minimize lost stacks from hitting the obsession by using their power. Legion and Plague are good with Thanatophobia, because their powers excel at getting most/all of the survivors injured in a short amount of time.
Just got max STBFL on DS but figured I would lose stacks on obsession. Yes you can shoot them but you reel them in and hit them with your Basic weapon. Figured DBD would take my stacks.

Look, I shut it but not to annoy you, I just want my extra bp. I will direct you to the exit gate afterwards.
I've tried that a few times always results in the same thing the remaining Survivor having adrenalinn taking off and hiding or trying to run to every remaining palette or Loop until the EGC ends. If I down them I'll carry them to the exit gate but it's another five or so minutes that the game was extended so I usually just dropped him at the hatch and let them go

I love this game but the bugs and way I PERSONALLY feel about the maps, changes to certain killers, perks, etc have had me on edge ngl. All it's going to take is another game to pull my game time from DBD Oh wait Cyber what is out what year is it 2077?

Do I really have to chase them and have them T-bag me after they complete a vault? Do I really have to chase these freaks who want to get chased in a loop? Why do they get rewarded for playing like jackasses but killers don't? Regardless of your position on camping, it should not get punished like this.
Nothing worse than full-time camping. This goes for survivors as WELL. Please stop and go practice your skills.

lol. theres only 5 boxes normally I believe. There's only a key in one so 20% chance you check the right one. You add more boxes so lets say 10 for easy math. Whats the odds you guess the right box?
-
Man I played some survivor last weekend to knock out some rift challenges I had handing around from the first 3 levels and I had 3 games in a row where the killer had BW. I hopped on the forums to see if there was some sort of call to arms for killers to start running it because what are the odds. Just didn't expect it not 3 in a row.
-
Got another idea but it's mixing two perks. So when a survivors is hooked in the basement the generator with the most progression instantly explodes and begins regressing. Thing about the dynamic is would have on killer shack chases and gen repairs. the risk involved, killers rat racing down to hook to surge that last gen thats about to go off. Survivors preying they get that last progress before he gets that survivor down to the basement hook. yelling at teammates for being downed at basement. Interesting?
-

Monstrous Shrine:
Remove the basement requirement
20% faster hook progression
15% increased difficulty on escape attempts
25% decreased unhooking speed
50% increased hooking speed
Vigil:
50% increased recovery speed for all status effects except Exhausted and Exposed
20% increased recovery speed for Exhausted
Recover from Exhaustion at 25% the normal rate while running (very good idea from you)
I like the idea of no basement requirement and i love your perk. Really doubt they would take that off though. I would use your version as well.

I've never had a game cause more anxiety than dead by daylight. LOL For every good match I easily have five terrible ones where I'll either be outmatched by someone far more experienced, or worse, toxic. Because of this there have been so many nights when I will fire the game up only to immediately turn it off and watch uploaded YouTube videos instead.
It might not be that big of an issue if the MMR was up and running again, but in it's current state practicing with new killers is pretty daunting since you're expected to compete while you practice, and getting stomped over and over while I get marginally better isn't exactly my idea of fun.
I recently developed a nack for not caring about winning/4k so my stress has gone done tremendously. As for steams maybe on a saturday morning when I'm feeding my newborn twins I'll watch for awhile since I'm just sitting there but TIME is MONEY the one thing we never get back so I aint wasting it watching someone else play the game I want to play. thank you least you see logic of this. the ones who wont is the ones who use killer all the time so they will see it as an easy win for them all the time cos all they have to do is keep sending it out at you and you have no chance to do a gen or anything else so the surv's get screwed over.
Nothing about the twins is an easy win. GIT GUD. Why do you think there are so many out there using them to camp, slug, tunnel there way out of everything instead of learning to be more efficient with them both. They need to take there losses and learn better tactics. Camp, tunnel, slug should never HAVE to be a tactic to win.

Here's my advice: Play games to have fun. If running only meta is fun, do it. Whatever floats your boat. If you play only to win, you're doing it wrong.
Great advice. I used the perk randomizer wheel last night on my level 24 oni that's how little I care about Rank or winning any more. My main purpose right now is learning perks builds, every inch of maps, practice chases with killers, just overall getting better at every other facet of the game. When my character are all maxed at P3 (getting close) and I feel i have learned enough then maybe I'll try or care to win every game. I'm happy with my BBQ stacks and having fun. The survivors can care less about it no matter how obvious it is that I'm hooking a different survivor one at a time they still rush gens and burst out the gates. I notice almost every game when it gets down to 2 gens that there is ussualy a couple of them at death hook that I could eliminate real quick so I can win the game but I choose to go after the others an not tunnel/target them. I'm in fun mode for now. In the games that I still win in FUN mode I like to let people live that make great plays or helpful plays like last night I downed a Felix who was on Death hook and a Zarina rushed in and used FTP and she got downed because of this and he escaped. I carried her to the gate. like I said eventually sure I'll go for 4k down the road if it benefits me but right now I can rank up and hit 30k BP having fun without being a complete ****.

But can Freddy simply deny Borrow Time completely? Yes. I'm not saying that Freddy is OP and should be nerfed, I'm saying that he is a very good killer with a very low skill floor with a bunch of passive ability and that's why he is S Tier
Completely? NO. You have to be asleep, if not hit again, camped, etc. Not ever Freddy is a camping, tunneling trashcan. Some of us want to use him not because of his toolkit but because he was there childhood favorite. So seeing the hate he gets and the calls for nerfs all over the forums because people can't use strategy against him consistently snapping fingers, alarm clocks, looping which yes is easy if your awake, theres no slowdown add-ons as well if your awake, the teleport lets the survivors know your coming a good amount of time before you get there. problem is everyone want to use borrowed time offensively(same with DS) to slow down the killer(as if there aint enough that does that) instead of using the protection to go heal and he puts just a small wrinkle in that plan. Then when he decides to tunnel you for it let the water works flow. I'm not saying you do this I'm talking in general.

Last gen finished, campi Freddy is camping and I have Borrowed Time, what do I do?
Leave. He just trying to secure a kill that's not camping in most people's eyes. But if your team refuses to let him have 1 kill get 1 teamate to get him to swing so you can unhook.

Ok, I slapped my fingers, now I'm going to the unhook and the campi Freddy hits me, now I'm asleep again, what do I do?
Oh he's FACECAMPING see borrowed time is unhooking in terror radius not in his face. If he face camping Freddy just do gens or get him to swing and hit the person on hook to create an opening.
