It could stand to be a little faster (or the initial kick should do a decent chunk of damage), but 3 times is absurd.

I rarely get survivors DCing when I play killer, but they DC a lot when I play survivor. I also get 4 DS a lot as killer (obviously not as survivor because I don't use DS).
I usually see survivor DCs when they are caught within the first minute or two of the match. I definitely see more survivors DC when I'm playing survivor than when I'm playing killer (ratio wise, since I play survivor more). As killer I like to do fun or unique builds so I rarely use BBQ, Nurses, NOED or Ruin. Maybe that's why.
-
That's funny because without fail any time I've played a Mori I haven't gotten a single DC. In fact, as killer I get a DC probably 1 out of every 20 matches. Even when I play Legion it's not a problem. When I play survivor DCs have been a lot less common lately too.
I also rarely go up against 4 DS, another popular complaint around here.
-
Weak bait. 2/10. Try harder.
-
They should retire some of the maps tbh.

"Triggered" suggests someone is upset because the other person is being mean to them. For some people, repetitive noises like that are unignorable. Like the person tapping on their desk behind you when you're trying to concentrate. Some people can tune it out, others can't. I think it's more likely to be a problem if you struggle with anxiety or high blood pressure or something. Regardless, it's frustrating.
Frankling's and/or slugging them can be fun. I'll usually just ignore the survivor, which seems to really annoy them, but there have been times when I've taken off my headphones and gone afk during a match because it's too much for my nerves to handle that day; the clicker can have fun playing a gen repair sim, 'cause I'm gonna read my book. Or, if you have Whispers, you can play "keep away," not letting the survivors interact with you at all. I'll do that in the end game regardless, sometimes, when I'm waiting for them to leave.
Draining the battery quicker is probably too much to ask for, but maybe a cool down on the click noise would be doable. They can activate the flashlight over and over again all they want, just like right now, but the click noise can only happen once every couple seconds or so. Or clicking the flashlight too much in a short amount of time (not like clicking it twice, I mean clicking it rapidly a lot) causes it to short circuit or overheat or something for a few seconds.
That's all just wishful thinking, though. It'll never happen. You can either play the match and ignore the flashlight clicker, or go afk and watch TV or something.
If you suffer from high blood pressure or anxiety and a video game is causing you problems then you need to stop playing it. Don't expect the world to cater to your needs.
-
Or you could simply not get so easily triggered

Are you having a laugh. Is there anything else the devs could do to make your game easier when playing survivor. I have had enough of finding people who have sprint burst perk. If they made it baseline then killers would struggle. It would break the game.
Somebody didn't read.

Never happens for me.

"Unnecessary buff" LOL.
Gonna enjoy Making people DC against my Legion only because they refuse to use Bottany Knowledge and a Medkit.
Lol at thinking BK is worth carrying unless you're going for a very specific healing build.

Just be happy that you get borrowed time just showing up in the bloodweb without having to level a very loud old man. Seriously, he's one of the loudest in pain survivors, not to mention his smokers cough.
You don't have to play as a survivor to get their teachables, tho.
-
It's only really good when there's one or two survivors left, IMO.

Best case scenario, March 19th.

And Im talking about all the BS that killers have to face until this game is balanced.
BNP = Half a gen done, equip 4 of those and your are done in less than 4 min.
Adrenaline is definitely not the same as NOED, NOED can be stopped from happening. Adrenaline cant be stopped unless you know a survivor is using it and you tunnel him until he is dead.
Some exhaustion perks like SB, Dead Hard pretty much demolish some killer's powers so I dont see how that's balanced.
Busted Billy is the only way to counter all that BS and I love him for that. How about we buff all killers to his level instead of nerfing the only viable killer that can bury SWF groups?
If all killers would be at his Tier Level we wouldnt see so many people running the same perks and stealth would become meta as it once was. Those people who have a problem with Billy or any other killer besides Nurse dont know how to play the game. Let me tell you that I also play as survivor and I know what survivors are capable of because I play SWF and I know how broken they can be. If you are playing solo survivor you should already know that the killer is not the problem, rank system is.
BNP is a QUARTER of a gen.
90% of the time I use Adrenaline and it triggers I am already healthy and nowhere near the killer. Half the time we never even get all the gens done. SO BROKEN.
Dead Hard can very easily be countered once you realize they have it by waiting a second. It lasts literally .5 seconds and you move a very small distance forward. Also you complained about all exhaustion perks. So now BL and Lithe are fine?
Have you ever thought about perhaps getting good?
-
I'm not wasting 32-40 seconds healing. I'd rather just play injured.
-
Okay.
-
Do what you gotta do***
-
I was playing as Billy yesterday to do a ritual. I slugged the first 5 downs and did a couple hooks. One player suicided on the hook for reasons I don't understand and then I literally chainsawed in circles around the map and let the other three do gens and escape. After, one of the survivors messaged me and said "EZ. Your play style is #########."
Some people can't be helped.
-
Best looking killer by far, IMO. I'm on PS4 so I'll reserve judgment on how she plays.
-
Spirit is great. So frustrating to play against a good one tbh 😅
-
Will you be giving perks like Resilience or This Is Not Happening some love since Thanatophobia got a buff (which is definitely much appreciated, btw)?
-
A bunch of people skewer him in the comments, deservedly so. There is an exchange between a user named icromaholic and the reviewer with a deleted comment. I actually remember reading those comments and the reviewer had said something like "you don't have to be a chef to know when you get served a pile of ######### for dinner." After getting called out for being unprofessional he deleted his comment without an apology.

I’m not sure why they would try to hide in lockers. It’s 30 seconds before the crows start to tell your location. Once that happens you basically have two choices: stay in the locker and get grabbed, or run while the crows still give away your location.
? It's 60 that the first crow shows up and I don't think it notifies the killer until 90 seconds.

Dwight Main Btw Build:
All of Dwight's perks, plus a perk of your choice (preferably Self Care or Head On). Meaning you are the ultimate team player.
That's one of my favorite builds since the buffs. Borrowed Time is usually the 4th for me.
-
Maybe as an ultra rare. Or a perk. And it would have to have a limit or a way to tell if you pay attention.

How is Remember Me not a good perk? Also STBFL?

Sure, but then why not have a penalty for tbagging at the exit gates? Fair is fair.

People actually play vs Legions? Every game I face Legion everyone including me just dc's.
Is this a meme? I see it posted often but I legit play full games against the Legion every time I play. People don't DC against them any more than any other killer, in my experience.

While I would love to get PTBs on console, I think the PC base has that right, and exclusiveness with reason.
Most of the people on PC have been loyally playing for a long time. I don't have a problem with it.
It has nothing to do with that. Plenty of people on PS4 have been "loyally" playing for like two years now. It's because it's more complicated and they don't see it as a worthwhile investment.
-
Lol @ the average game being 3-6 minutes. I'd say 10.
-
It should go up 3% for every hook and reward the killer for doing well rather than poorly. And cap at like 8-10 tokens.
-
*Yawn* Original thoughts are scant round these parts.
-
I wonder if there's a correlation between people who complain about tHe MeTa and people who are dismissive when someone wants bad perks and items made decent? If No Mither was a perk worth using, it would mean more one hit downs. If broken keys and maps were decent it would mean slower gens and less flashlights and instaheals.
-
The fact that everybody here instantly dismisses this as a problem because No Mither is a joke kind of just proves my point. The solution is not to say "oh well LOL don't run No Mither." The solution is for the devs to make every perk, add on, killer, item, etc worthy of being used.
This is like when people ask for broken keys and maps to be buffed and 10 people jump in to say "JUST USE A TOOLBOX LOL"

If you're running No Mither you're running it to make things harder, plain and simple. That means you make grunts. That means you can be one shot. That means you afflict Thanatophobia by default if the killer has it. Deal with it. Besides, as has already been pointed out, it doesn't actually change the value from what it was before.
I ignored that because it doesn't make sense logically. The percentages increase twice as fast. That the first injury is still the same is irrelevant.

Oh stop with the poor solo survivors schtick. They aren't poor or disadvantaged. It's just that SWF is so braindead broken it makes solo survivors look poor in comparison.
To keep it a 100 the first people to mention "solo" survivors as a reason to buff or keep something weak in their defense are the first people to hop right in SWF knowing to do so means their group is that much stronger.
To keep it at 100 I literally never play SWF because none of my friends play DBD and I'm not interested in playing with strangers.

They also have a weakness. Like okay some perks are gonna make other perks less effective. Are you gonna complain that Hangman's Trick ruins Saboteur? That Predator ruins Lightweight? Streetwise and Overwhelming Presence?
No, because those perks directly counter each other? That's part of why they exist. Does No Mither need a counter?
No reason to change the subject.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Thanatophobia has been in the game longer than David so that's more on the fault of them making No Mither. I agree it sucks having someone with it on your team but considering it's not common AND it's even less common to encounter both perks, it just sounds like you're making a chicken out of a feather here. It's not that big of a problem dude.
Not everything needs to be a "big" problem. Little would be changed if people didn't talk about the smaller issues, too. Irridescent hatchets are rare but that doesn't make them any less broken when you're unfortunate enough to run into them.
-
Either trash tier or OP, as is every killer in the first days of release.
-
100%. Death penalty for you.

@fcc2014 said:
I like the buff but yes Resilience should have got some love. Let the no mither user die LOL!
Might as well honestly. They're a hinderence to the team (except in the rare cases they are a god in chases and get the killer to tunnel them forever).
-
@ClogWench said:
First off what did you expect. Secondly you're already putting your team at a disadvantage by running No Mither, it's a perk just for challenging yourself. That means dealing with all the weaknesses associated with being injured.
What do you mean what did I expect? I expect that the devs probably shouldn't create perks that force solo survivors, who are already at a disadvantage, to be further disadvantaged if their teammate(s) decide to run certain perks. Now it'll be even worse. At the very least they could have made it so the % decrease caused by survivors in Broken status only applies to that survivor. Imagine being teamed up with a 3 man SWF using No Mither against Thanatophobia? Might as well DC immediately.
No Mither is a poorly designed perk and it being dubbed as "hard mode" is a cop out.
-
I think it's all right. It will be awful against Legion and Freddy, though.
-
Great change. It will be even more useful with Quick and Quiet.

I never wiggle. If the killer downed me they deserve that hook.
What a ridiculous thing to say.
-
Also, more time spent in a trial means more experience, doesn't it?
-
Why should I make it easier for the killer? What if they can't make it to a hook? I've had killers get stuck trying to turn a corner because I wiggle them into the wall. That extra 2 seconds could mean you get free. The fact that you didn't want to take the risk of one of them getting off shows that they had some kind of a chance, especially when survivors can heal to 95% on the ground. There's no reason not to try.
