Exactly you are right but you can protect the last 2 gens very easily.
That depends on the survivors. 3 gen strats don't work against anyone with at minimum half a brain. If survivors are experienced they will always target any gens that are close together at the start of the game and then it is as simple as W meta gaming away from them to force the killer to chase you and lose the gens or leave you to heal and the other survivors do the same thing. The war of attrition will always be lost for the killer if survivors pay attention.
-
@BenZ0 said:
The gen speed is fine, especially coop repair is bad now. You should be happy if they work all together on a gen since just 1 gen will pop.
The problem is when survivors spread and everyone does 1 gen, in the time you chase 1 survivors 3 gens will pop and there is nothing you can do about.
Coop destroys you in mid game.
It is most efficient to split up and do 3 gens solo at the start and then have one survivor on a gen solo and 2 survivors on another gen to halve the repair time and then move to help the solo guy.
-
There is heaps of subtle hacking going on. Small speed boosts when you tier up bloodlust, no fall stun or really short with a little speed boost after (no balanced landing) That guy that gets 6 loops out of a cart on the farm map before dropping the pallet..... I saved 5 recordings of it in the past week.

Survivors didn't like the one that added on the saloon so quickly abandoned the idea and bowed down for forgiveness.

They made a graphical rework to Shack. Now you cant see that much
Yeah, they added an extra window next to the main one and windows on the back wall with nice big gaps that you can even throw a knife through as trickster. Don't forget the "mindgame" wall where the killers light shines under it just to make sure they can't do anything to trick the survivor.
-
The shack is already practically glass with how much you can see through the walls.
-
Failed design makes the game tedious and can trigger people when used against them enough.
-
No such thing as a stealth killer with SWF in the game.

Oh i'll always dislike it.
Can't help it, i'll always dislike stuns in videogames, especially in games where seconds matter.
That said i rarely get hit by it, so it's hard to really despise it.
Bet you love blast mine.
-
I levelled nemesis and all my cakes are on him.. i just can't play him any more.. he is just so weak that it was making me disconnect some games when i get strong swf squads and can't even get 5 hooks...

I don’t think this game is supposed to be played at such a high level, very hard to balance it without making casuals suffer.
The thing is that casuals are also human beings and have the ability to get better. The reason this game is getting worse is because people are getting better and the broken core mechanics of the game are starting to show.
-
Fixing performance again? What, are they going to lower xbox one to 10% of 360p this time? They never actually do anything to the in game image other then mess with resolution scaling and call it a day.
I just force ran the game at 480p on a base ps4 and it was still more detailed and clearer then the base xbox one.

Surprisingly, this should be considered normal. A lot if killers forget that 2 gens done means 2 gens less to patrol, especially if its 2 next to eachother. The very act of those gens popping means passive pressure increase. All you need to do now is pressure gens you want to keep, and kick people off the others now and then. Treat every killer a bit like trapper. The more gens done, the smaller your territory, the less you need to defend. You just need to identify where the best territory is and guide survivors away from it to force a 3/4 gen.
I actually suggest avoiding corrupt unless your killer needs prep time or you need to find a survivor Immediately, as it may push survivors to do gens that split the map in two.
And the answer to this stupid strat is the all mighty Shift W. I have had to deal with multiple killers 3 genning from the second the game loads in today and it isn't difficult if the rest of your team does the same.
See the killer or hear the terror rad? Shift W to an empty part of the map. If he gives chase then you just won the game for your team GG
It only works on really really clueless solo players.

I'm talking mostly at the start of the game, you could chase a person for 30-50 seconds 1 gen pops because a survivor is using povethyself and a 2 toolkits. Around 10 seconds later comes the 2nd gen. An this is within the first 2 minuets of the game. If you don't see anything wrong you ill.
You just described a slow game :|
-
I did it when the killer almost had everyone slugged because they kept giving victor back. we all recovered and the twins player lost.. there is a time and place to do it.
-
He is quite weak and the power is so limited that there is nothing interesting you can do with it.
The AI sucks
The ranged attack is inconsistent.
He gives free health states if he doesn't want to be a pure M1 killer all game.
-
They changed the pallets in the ptb but i cbf to download it and wait for 5 hours to get a game.
We will see if they just made it survivor client sided or just told the server to roll back all hits so the survivors are protected. With what they said, i should win every pallet hit at 15 ping.

he doesnt, I think right now the zombies behavior and amount is in a near perfect position.
You think zombies getting stuck on rocks/ trees/ nothing is perfect? Swamp maps and red forest bug them out so often it isn't funny.

Or he's not fun to play anymore. That stupid roar, terrible music, and jank animations have sucked alot of life out of him. Then they added a pointless mechanic and left him with all D tier addons. After all that why would people play Bill anymore?
You forgot the trail of exhaust smoke that he leaves to tell survivors his exact trajectory and where he is from any point on the map.
He has stealth addons while being impossible to stealth with.
-
Either the balance dev got camped by a billy like he couldn't hit a skillcheck with lullaby and changed it.. or they wanted to sell more bubba dlc's.
-
Its actually quite fun when you are the bubba. I am shocked that survivors still fall for it.
-
Killer is easier to farm bp on for the event. they also get plenty of cakes.
-
They ruined Kate.. there is nothing wrong with the current one.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Hillbilly is about as important to the devs as console optimisation
Ouch... The consoles must be insulted to be put in the same tier as billy.
-
None. maps and tile design are the problem.
Maps are too big and the tiles are way to safe against non ranged killers and even some range killers. Add to this the recent changes have stacked maps with loads of LOS blockers that ruin the range killers that they have added and gutted billy.
-
Well that sucks. Red ranks?
I avoid swf groups when i play survivor for this reason.

it looks like its a bug and there giving crowns out manually to people who have franks, as above mandy said it would take a little bit, so hopefully we will both get are julie crowns soon
Yeah just saw it.

Just gave it another go and it said "crown unlocked" but still nothing

I have both of last years crowns and it only gave me frank this year.
-

Idk how having 2 people in chase, 1 of which then goes off to heal before getting back on a gen, makes the game shorter than 1 person in chase and 3 people slamming gens constantly but
Nobody gets hooked and the loop path gets reset. we are talking decent survivors here.. not people that deadhard into a wall.
Also.. heal? lol most survivors are carrying stacked medkits that heal in 6 or 8 seconds. That or they just bang out the gen injured.

During the event here's how me and my swf does things:
- Me: I start by finding a mate to double gen with (Want my gen points)
- I then run around looking for the killer to get into chase with or get totems.
- If the killer has 2 or less hooks when 2 gens are left then I'll run around looking to farm WGLF stacks by taking body blocks for teammates. Basically draw the game out a bit.
Body blocking injured survivors shortens the game and is exceptionally tilting for the killer and detrimental to their points. You are actually bming that killer because you have zero respect at all and will throw yourself at them without caring.
-
Give survivors a reason to escape and the true problems surface. It has always been this bad but there was never an incentive to actually prioritise escape over bloodpoints.
Ever notice how the game will fly by until you get to 2 or 1 generator and then suddenly the survivors become.. stupid, and can't figure out how to hold m1 any more no matter how long your chases are?
They are farming you.

@WexlerWendigo said:
And almost all of them are toxic too
Probably because he is weak.
I can barely hold rank 2 with nemesis but shoot back to r1 with Pyramidhead even though they are the same concept.

he's the newest killer. And he has zombies which turns the game into a 3vs4 which is much more fair :)
Mine are lazy and spend 90% of their time face licking trees and rocks :(

ermm it would make zero sense if the poor excuse for AA in this game impact your FPS that much, its not "real" AA its a post processing version called FXAA or TAA (if they updated) which just does not ask much as its not nearly as advanced.
also why are they doing it this way, preeeeeetty sure they dont know any better, it would be nice if they would invest in hiring people who know the Unreal Engine well (and seeing as its the most populair engine there are MANY of those out there) but they rather make money then spend it.
Sitting in the 80s on ultra 1440p with a gtx 980 ti.. I swear it was in the 60-70 range before, although i have not checked for a while.

For my old settings:
I didn't really care about the hair so I just turned anti-aliasing off. It looks a lot cleaner, if you don't mind the pixels that is.
I guess it is cheap and quick t make hair this way so they chose it over performance.
-
@KerJuice said:
Interesting. I’m guessing you can only turn that off on PC, correct?
yep. Survivors have a Pixeled mesh in the shape of the hair that anti aliasing is forced to fill in and create strands.
-
I see what you are saying but.. how many gens got done vs how many hooks did the killer have when they started camping?
-
@Luciferr_2nd said:
I play them occasionally
I personally hate how you get punished insanely if you miss a pounce, you give the survivors a long 5 seconds to run over and crush you and all your pressure is gone because you missed one hit.
This is the main thing that kills my fun for them, especially since its much harder to hit pounces on console with a controller.
3 seconds if you miss a pounce, 5 if you land it actually...

I dont think so, sacrifice is also on a single category. You 9 hooks 1K is still gain better than 4 hooks 4K. Beside, you have 3 other categories to work on.
Im glad they didnt make it as some suggestions like "2K should be safe pip"
Because camping with Noed always guarantee 2K vs Solo, with zero effort
i have been farming crowns and maxing out every category but hooks and i never pip at rank 2. i just barely safety pip. you need to kill to pip at red ranks.
-
@C3Tooth said:
Looks like many has similar goal of the game, at least in survivor side.
They dont mind that they die, as long as the match is fun.
Because escape is optional and you will pip even if you die if you did enough.
Killers are required to kill for a pip.
-
no. Thrilling tremors gives better information then bbq since you can hide behind gens while progressing them and be hidden from bbq
WGLF has no real use outside of the bonus multiplier. Rezing slugs a bit faster is nice but not worth a perk slot.

Unfortunately I have rarely seen killers bring cakes lately. Played 15 matches today and only 1 killer brought a cake :(
I have 57 of them on my nemesis and i use them every game.
-
A game where i get 1-2 gens done, a bunch of saves and a good chase in is fun for me.
sadly most games are a blowout either way.. 5 gens done in 4 minutes or the killer downs everyone in seconds because my team is stupid and groups up.
-
They should keep the old model as a skin.
-
The more survivors play killer the harder it will be for you since they are hypocrites. When i was getting the crowns on my survivors i went against some people that i see playing survivor and my god the camping and tunnelling was insane. I guess they don't like tasting their own medicine.
-
event cakes are plentiful on killer and easier to get points.
