Mid: Commits to bad chases, might camp
High: Switches targets if survivor is strong in chase
What if they are all strong in chase. what is the gold pro: solution to that?

Killer is harder at high ranks when facing good survivors.
But, solo q is the hardest mode in the game. At least as killer you determine the flow of the game and do not have to rely on anyone else.
Solo q, with ######### teammates, is borderline unbearable.
LOL keep telling yourself that you have control buddy. Good survivors has full control of the pace of the game, not you. this has been shown numerous times and most recently with the "hard core survivor" challenge being done with the main content creators.
-
The map is also a full counter to nurse. It forces short blinks all the time because of all the crap they spread around the hallways and you are usually out of sight with many directions that you can go.
-
I have seen two anti report methods. one just booted me to the main menu after the game with a cheater and the other directed me to another persons profile.
They need some basic server side anticheat that tracks run speed and perk usage etc.
-
You gave your bait thread away when you said you catch survivors in traps with trapper.
Either this is bait or the survivors around you are full on potatoes like some streamers have.

I’m devotion ten, level 40, 2500 hours in on my PC account. All killers are P3. Half of them have every perk unlocked.
Survivors, I have twenty-one P3’d. It won’t take me long to finish prestiging the last four.
I bring this up because I’ve played half as much as OP and am looking at the end of the grind. How’s that the case?
he plays survivor and you play killer?
-
And solo players still struggle to find these.

It seems from replies people either dont realise when its happening or its totally regional, but that makes me wonder why its regional?
But considering the amount of people stating they've experienced multiple cheaters, im finding it hard to believe these people with 1000s of hours only meeting a handful.
A lot here state they experience the insta heal cheat, whereas i have never experienced that as a killer, only speed hacks and/or teleport hacks. I have experienced that as a solo survivor though.
I have run into 5 rage hackers since i started back in 2016. Most stick to esp cheats (see through walls and position of everything on the map such as totems) or small speed boosts (usually swf so no reports) because anything obvious like heal cheats is easy to see in a recording and easy for bhvr to ban.

Content creator makes vid about "whataboutism" Sheeple followers immediately visible.
You can't have a game like this and just nerf the ever loving snot out of one side without the corresponding problems being talked about for the other.

Killers would complain about any survivor perk. They complained about bl and devs killed it, so now everyone use dh. If devs nerf dh everyone will use sb, and killers would complain about it
Just ignore the fact BL caused infinites to be possible.

Yes, i still play on an old CRT from 1990..... said nobody.
They need to fix the resolution so old screens that should be in landfill by now will have black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. i got my second screen for $50 and it is 16:9.

Mentions dead hard for some reason
every time

Mentioning swf, exhaustion perks, Shift W meta would get the same response. In terms of how it feels to the opposing side deadhard is closest
-
Fast vault and long lunge. It also doesn't have a charge time and just requires getting in range.

I have never liked noed because it's always felt like cheap downs and not me actually out playing the opponent
It's as much an outplay as pressing E to get to pallet or window after screwing up. They rushed gens and ignored the danger so you get to end the game fast and force them out or kill them.
-
Rules for thee but not for me.

I've played the same SWF three times over the past couple of days and I've been running a ruin, devour, haunted build. This SWF always immediately finds ruin and devour but never touches haunted even when haunted is out in the open. Could this be cheating or just horrible RNG with this SWF?
Cheats. I have run into the same thing.
They need to invest in server side anticheat, but that costs money and their investors will say no, sell more skins instead.

I’m sorry but I don’t really understand this argument. Many games that have cross play exclude PC due to their performance and control advantage over consoles, and I’d say that the former is extremely prevalent in this game.
They exclude pc because they are shooters and that is the only place pc has an advantage. There is zero difference between a pc survivor and a console survivor, infact there are many people that use a controller to play this game on pc fyi.
The only difference is with killer and they are heavily disadvantaged on console. ranged killers are useless with the fps issue and freedom of movement offered to survivors. while normal killers are hampered by analog controls (pc can strafe and have full forward momentum while controller can only strafe or walk forward) and the forced auto aim causing them to miss from the simplest of wiggles.
I had this game on ps4 before crossplay and there were almost zero killer players.
-
Difficult killer to learn since his attack is like a magnet to walls and his early game can really really screw him over. he is also a little map dependant.
-
I ran into a someone telling me how to play killer yesterday and looked at their profile. They had 2000 hours in the game with 44 kills under their belt..... How tf do you reach 2000 hours and not have even the 100 kills achievement?
-
@Northener1907 said:
Because Nemesis and PH are both not strong killers. Smart survivors are destroying them with Shift + W.
What this guy said. He has no mobility so running as far away from gens being done destroys him since he needs to waste the time chasing and downing you then you get free wasted time from dragging him to the opposite side of the map as he slowly walks back to the gens being done.
-
Tell me where the risk is in 90% of the loops in this game? as long as you watch the killer they can't do anything about them. The only unsafe loop in the game is T pallets if you let the killer get you on the wrong side or they are a lagy sob. and LT gyms if you are not paying attention.
-
the 8 free health stats make him trash tier imo.
-
Nope. i have instant queue on survivor and a wait on killer. I don't mind it, its good to switch the brain off and play survivor now and then. Shame about the bp gains though.
-
Console has a larger survivor player base, but your killer players are unicorn status. Stick controlls are a MASSIVE handicap and the auto aim is atrocious causing more misses then hits just from a simple wiggle...

Do people really pick up this game though thinking killers would have any kind of etiquette? That's what surprises me about this community.
They watch streamers and pick up their bad habits and rules.
-
New players joining and leaving once they discover the daunting grind ahead of them.
They need to fix it and no.. none of this legacy crap. I got screwed over with og legacy because i did what i was supposed to do and spread my points instead of just hoarding them in a single character.

Anything really. He has the power to do something about loops without needing to be sniffing the survivors rear end like Nemesis, or be blocked by .... everything like Deathslinger, huntress and trickster. He only falls short in map pressure so that's all you need to focus on.
-
All killers get messed up by the lag. every lunge will lag the game.
-
I don't get people that dc on first down against a Trickster.. but i get it against spirit and SWF since they are both the most boring thing to verse since the creation of gaming.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uf8BExJWWcThe best killer players shouldn't lose this hard to the best survivor players. This just means a mediocre swf on coms will lose maybe one survivor per game just from sheer gen speed and information.
-
I can't wait for mmr.
I win enough to stay r1 but only because red ranks are not red ranks.
Kill rates are also useless because survivors don't need to escape to pip while killers do need to kill.
How many 3 man escapes turn i to a 1 or 2 man because everyone tried to save the guy on hook instead of leaving? I know i have done it knowing i got a pip anyway.

I think its alright. Yes its often stressful as #########, but its also 1v4 game so its natural the bigger role should be more chill so people will play it more.
It kinda works with the queue times too, except this RE chapter killer times of course
Sadly that approach makes the game fall apart once survivors uh..... start to show some sentience? I can't look at the game the same again after playing survivor so much for the tome challenges and crowns.. It is just way to braindead and is shocking that anyone actually loses.

@Momentosis said:
Against good survivors it's a bad strategy.
Tunnelling is good when the survivors are bad or there's one bad survivor with 3 good survivors. You tunnel out the bad one and leave the 3 good ones at a disadvantage.
Now if all 4 are good, whoever you are tunnelling is gonna loop you too efficiently, you might not even be able to get them on death hook by the time the survs get all gens done.
But as we know, most survivor players are complete ######### at the game.
IF they are all good then playing normally will net the same result.
-
Nurse. She is the reason for the dc penalty with even fog whisperers demanding people DC against her until she got nerfed.
-
Bored.
These people are usually on coms so no point playing out the match. It's already lost.
-
You actually get survivors in range after the first down? I can't even get infectious screams when i play because most people swf here :|

5 years and 1800 hours played as killer and never had a 20 minute 3 gen happen. Not saying it CAN'T happen, but I am saying it's not a guarantee that it will without Whispers.
Lucky you.. I have had it multiple times and it is always a swf that does it.

So you saying that even if survivors playing an oracle level then still the killer should have 50% chance to win?
Yes killers should be stronger than 1v1 but should be weaker in 1v4, however because survivors RNG based, the role should be easier even if the team has one 1 mediocre player should be able to win.
What I see that killers demand perfect teamwork on oracle level and even then should be even chance vs killer.
That would make killers overpowered because you only rely on yourself, while survivors should be given easier time because you have teammates and thats RNG
the top 1% escape with no deaths and sometimes even no hooks. As a guess torn straight out of my backside the top 30% probably escape with 1-0 deaths. how about we balance around that level?
-
This won't happen. Especially with this community.
They need to super buff solo somehow and then buff the killers that are lacking.

I think the bots slow themselves down so entitled killers feel good about themselves by being able to not have to work for a kill.
Totally entitled when i am playing survivor 🙄 I am just not blind to the state of the game.
-
You want to know what is bad? the bots purposely slow themselves down so the killer can catch up because W meta is too strong XD I was actually laughing when i saw it myself.

Did you play during the last mmr? If you play casually as a survivor it doesnt matter, the killer is still going to be sweating his ass off for 6 hooks. If both sides are playing super casual, youll be playing at/against noobs. You understand that nobody actually plays as casually as youre claiming right? They still want to win.
A 10 hook game is VASTLY different from a 6 hook game. And even more so than a 3 hook game. You saying that tells me you dont understand how the game works.
Nah people that run into the killer and deadhard into walls are just doing it for the memes and are playing for fun /s
No idea what people are talking about when they say they like to play "casually" (probably along the lines of they like to beat down noobs to inflate their ego)

🤣🤣🤣 Another daily post of certain folks griping about survivors running. Like what do you guys want survivors to do just wait and let you get the hit. And if a survivor knows how to loop some folks call it "abusing loops". So there is no strategy that survivors can put into action.
Want maps changed so they are not gigantic and allow the killer to cut survivors off. Any questions?

My build is Enduring and Spirit Fury, forgot to mention it every Spirit Fury Trigger = Chainsaw Down.
Edit: Also I don't even care if they drop pallets, They'll run out eventually.
People don't expect that on billy? Half the time they have bamboozle too. can't use your perk if i never let you get close enough to stun.

Same way you deal with bubba.. drop the pallet after 1 or 2 loops

Just make totems dull for the first 2 minutes of the game.

"actually good changes to the Trickster that the community suggests to make him stronger but not so dumb to face."
Thats exactly what BHVR did, do you have any idea how many people were saying to reduce the amount of knives to damage? And now every one is complaining that they listened.
They just need to make him unique from the other range killers, either make piercing knives or ricochet knives built into his kit
Really? I recall people wanting knives to be a mending mechanic and main event to be able to be held and activated when the killer wants it.
-
They feel the need to hand hold survivors.
