Just imagine a serial killer coming after you in that suit in some amusement park, you would be terrified.
-
yeah I miss it
-
look Link needed the money, dont be an ass pls jeez
-
I afk'd a lot of matched down to rank 9, still matched up with rank 2 - 3 survivor squads :P
-
well....ranks dont matter, like at all.
I mean what do you think this will do?
- it will sepperate the already relatively small community
- it will invite toxic af players to bully those looking for some casual fun
- ranks already dont matter in the slightest
- if you gain bloodpoints in that mode then some will play that only, again halfing the community really and if you dont, then its a waste of time nobody will play.
-
you need to look up what "proof" means. you are just sharing a rather silly opinion.
-
just above Hong Kong 97
-
this seems fine with me, but only on a kobe, not deliverance.
-
I would imagine leatherface pushing down on a survivors shoulder making the hook rip through them, or simply chainsawing their bottom half off.
But hey, that would be too gory of this pg13 horror game.

pipping means for me, i played the game as the game wanted me to play it.
ok, soooo thats good? because to me that just feels a bit robot-ish, no own opinion of thoughts.
-
ermm what is the point of this thread?
-
yeah for me its hte other way around, which sucks because today im just not having fun playing killer...like... at all.
but yeah survivor lobbies take forever, killer is instand for me.
-
Havent played Oni for a while but in my experience a kanabo hit on a vaulting survivor is just a 1 shot (unless you do the non charged m1 kanabo hit obviously)

Oh come on. If you have 4 survivors escaping thats a team win. If you escape its a personal win. If you piped its a reward for playing good. If you gain a lot of BP its also a reward for playing good. Killers would dc if there was a bug that spawned only 5 gens instead of seven. Thats about the same as a survivor less for the team. If theres only 3 survivors early on the survivors have a disadvantage and killers who want a fair game should have the possibility to move on and do the other survivors a favour.
You wont play chess without a queen.
I would play chess without a queen, I like trying to deal with the cards that are dealt to me.
If 4 survivors escape while the killer was just afk'ing in the basement the entire game, is that a team win? you all got out unopposed, idk I would describe that as a waste of time.
if I escape by having blindly done gens at the cost of everything else and leave with 3 of my teammates on hooks, is that a personal win? I dont think so myself.
If I pipped, thats just the game having allowed me the freedom to do something in all categories, if I de-pipped its the same thing but opposit, its all in all pretty damn meaningless.
If only 5 gens would have spawned, I would probably think it was bs yeah (actually I would think it to be quite funny and make a screenshot of it if I could) but I would not just stop playing, you get bloodpoints no matter how little you accomplish so might as well get as much as you can right?
I define winning by having had a good game, a good fair challenge where we all try to win, but not in a toxic "must win no matter what".
If I nicely distributed hooks amongst the team, they saved, lost me, healed, did gens, and all 4 even made it out, thats fine by me because we all played well.
If im a survivor and thank god I finally get a lobby, because that takes rather long, im not just giving up because some randommer just DC''s, ill keep playing and see how the game actually goes.
The idea that a randommer dc's because they are downed rather fast and then the killer just dc's as well..... jeez what a waste of time, the game would actually become the lobby simulator so many are mockingly calling it right now.
-
You have not played him nearly enough against players who know what they are doing, thats all I can say about that.
-
Darker maps with dynamic lighting, just think of swinging lights in the wind and what light and shadows they would cast.
Heck maybe weather, imagine having to be more careful in the rain due to the sound you make walking in puddles, or in snow.
Or maybe thunder being able to hide some of hte noise.
More dynamic nastyness, ooze, blood dripping, wind rushing.
Better voice acting for the screams of pain, right now its just silly really. and actually also Killer screams, some freaky howl behind you could go a long way to get you running for you life I would think.
Proper gore both in the scenery and with mori's.

Most survivors dont enjoy a game that you will lose. And killers find no fun in defeating 75% of a team.
not a claim you can make, "losing" is not defined in this game really.
-
Most: doc, huntress, ghostface
Least: Hag, Leatherface

I guess you m1 a lot then. But still, her bp gain is too low. Playing her is like a punishment in terms of bloodpoints
well yes, the biggest mistake people make playing plague is spending way too much time trying to vomit on people or things.

Well, you can't wiggle till the pickup animation is complete if I'm remembering correctly and even then, if you are picked up in the pallet zone you'll only be there briefly.
My idea wasn't a perk, but I suppose it could be. I don't think, as a perk, it would ever be used except at initial release just to try it out though.
If its just build in, everyone has it so a killer would always run a risk going through a pallet, free attempts at a free escape for survivors, that would not do the game much good.
If its a perk, it would be made so that its worth using, which again would just ruin the game more, imagine just looping knowing full well you will just go down on the pallet if you dont throw it on time, escape and move on.
We dont need to give survivors more safety nets, and certainly not ones that rely on rng.
-
I think this would kill the game tbh, a survivor dcing is super common so a lot of games would just end prematurely.
idk about you but I dont care much for a single survivor dcing and if I did, i would just die on the hook as soon as the killer caught me, which I would think is more fun.
-
I thought of something like this as well, the problem is, its yet another second chance perk which just makes it closer to a 1 on 1 fight which it should never be because its 4 v 1.
imagine crawling to a pallet and the killer now having no choice but to eat this potential slam and being able to do nothing at all about it?
Thats just another DS having survivor crawling out the door....
-
I like it, when im playing with a friend and they do anything leader possitively aids in I just scream "TAKE MY LEADER!!!"
There a totem, take my leader
the door, you open the door, take my leader
HEAL ME aaaaand TAKE MY LEADER!!

I had no issue getting her adept achievement

Another cherry-picked video from an obnoxious streamer who plays the game for a living. He has between 10 to 20 matches during a stream and one of them fits the narrative so we use that to prove our point.
If you change gen times, you throw 90% of the game out of whack in order to balance for 10% of your players. This may work in an esport game, but not a casual game where you need to maximize participation and purchase.
I've had matches where 3 gens pop before my third trap is in hand. Those are rare matches, but they do happen. Those are not my normal match.
Not to mention, Trapper shines in endgame if you are playing him properly.

So a depip means having won for you?
wait....pipping means winning to you?
-
Loving Auto Didact recently, its just very satisfying to build up the stacks, especially if you get 3 out of a single heal, and then when you have 5 oooofff its so good.
For killer, well....im a sucker for shadowborn tbh.

If you flap your arms, I assume you are being camped and ill leave you hanging.

Dcs should count in my opinion.
Think about what you are asking here, a DC means you just get whatever objective from the archive or daily you were trying to get?
So if a killer DC's they are like Santa and just give the survivors everything they were trying for in 1 game?

Clown used properly is definitely mid tier. Most just don’t use the bottles properly. Thus why most think he’s rubbish.
Well tier lists are almost per definition subjective, and one would have to kinda look at the entire player base if you want to make a more objective one and if you do that, you would find as you say that MOST would think clown is weak, even if that would only be because "they are using him wrong".
Also the first sentence is just too vague, any killer used properly can do well, because then you are just playing the game properly with proper mindgames etc, but if you are facing an equally proper survivor team, many killers just dont have the mobility etc to deal with it especially on certain maps.
-
Again, why is bubba so bad? if he catches you in a lot of situations, you are easily 1 shot.
-
I cant seem to derive much pleasure anymore playing killer (mind you this has nothing to do with Ruin as I never used that anyway, its just kinda meh, meaningless...hard to put into words).
But as Survivor I do have some fun still, not always but enough.
Had a game earlier on Coal Tower where the gen placement was so messed up we 3 gen'd ourselfs, and the killer, a ghostface was really good and hellbend on protecting that, it was intense and frantic, eventually 2 died and 2 got out. It was a good match.

Another tru3 video where he ends up winning, nice.
Yes, but lets be honest, the entire team played like MASSIVE potatoes there, if any single one of them was capable it would have gone much different.

Without watching the video, that sounds like ######### survivors, who make loads of mistakes but nearly get away with it, because they are not afraid to touch generators.
No one should win a game, by just holding down 1 button.
Technically no one did, 15k points at best for everyone involved? thats just a waste of time.
@Yamaoka said:
One could also ask: "Still a 4k even though survivors managed to repair 4 gens in less than 3 minutes - how is that fair?!"
To you as well, have you seen the video?
They managed it purely by avoiding any contact, when all 3 came to save the 1 other survivor they showed just had bad they were, and they were REALLY bad, like suprisingly so.
again, if any of them was even remotely capable this game would have ended with an ez 4S

Which means most of the killers are underpowered. It also shouldn't be a game that forces you to play only a small handful of killers just to be strong in what should be the power role.
That is balance for ya, which the game is lacking, with perks that are obviously way too strong and perks that are obviously way too weak and pretty much the same for killers..... not to mention the very existance of Offerings and Add Ons and Items..... yeah... its a mess
-
DS has a good reason to exist but as is its just abused all the time, used as a shield to help others rather then to protect you from being tunneled, and in combo with other perks even more so (like unbreakable) or hell, just jumping in a locker.
And the scenario of an open door, you down the one DS-using survivor who just ran up and saved another survivor, using BT to protect them...
Well great, the door is open, BT survivor is out, DS survivor is crawling out and if you pick them up they will just DS you... they have a freaking minute for all that....you have no control all in the name of anti tunneling which is not what is going on there at all.
A Simple fix for DS: 1. you are not allowed any actions other then being healed or healing yourself or moving.
Working on a gen, breaking a totem, healing someone else, unhooking someone, it would all turn DS off.
and 2. Crawling in the exit door area also turns off DS.
BUT also 3. if you are being chased during the time period of DS, the timer just stops. because honestly if you are unhooked, killer comes to tunnel and you are good enough to juke the killer for a minute and 5 seconds...well you still were tunneled by the killer so its bs that DS would not work after you finally do get downed.
-
as said before, I think the biggest flaw in plague players is focussing too much on the puking, just tag them and time will take care of the rest.
Then its M1ing.
Granted a good team is hard to fight, what happens a lot is that everyone is sick, gens fly, then everyone clences and leaves out the door.
-
Yeah, I use it, I mean... I PLAN on using it (for some reason its planned on pig atm)
But during my travels to P3 Oni I had level 3 Devour Hope really early on and used it on him because well...had nothing I wanted so why not.
And had lots of fun, I did not really need it on Oni because he 1 shots anyway, but when you have it, its show time.
And as long as you get 1 or 2 hooks out of it, does not matter that it gets destroyed either, it served its purpose.
As a survivor I also think its pretty hilarious when a killer ends up having it because its such a panic moment.
-
soooo just speed perks then, thrilling.

Watch this man play. He almost always wins, and usually explains what he is doing. The statistics prove it.
literally the first game I see of this person, playing doctor, he is proxy camping the Bill on the hook.....yeah great guy, if he has to deploy these tactics to 4k... idk if you want to use this as an example.....

well, why are you still here then?

Seems like your friend has bigger issues to worry about

bit of an empty claim when killer lobbies are currently instand and survivor lobbies take 5 min

good stuff man, enjoy!

That would be cool.. though I think the pallet immunity would be too OP. Or as your name implies a Vampire in the game... or a Werewolf.
I think a werewolf would be so cool, lore wise I would think it would just be a person who thinks themselves a wolf and hunted people, then the entity took them and granted them their wish.
But considering we have Oni already, with the rage mode, not sure what gameplay would fit

True, if killers played survivor more they'd probably whine less about why they lost.
Not really, I avoid DS and BT and Adren like the plague, they are such cheap perks.
Whenever anyone runs those you get escapes you NEVER would have gotten if it wasnt for this one completely game changing perks, its just disgusting.
Run a 4man game where everyone has those and its just pathetic, it would be funny if it wasnt so sad.
-
"Had a game where a doctor LITERALLY couldn't catch me, so I deserve the escape if I earn it, right? Wrong.
The gens popped and he chased, downed me,"
sooo he did catch you then.... not to mention you know Ranchor is in play, just hide in a locker?
-
nah man, there is money to be made, no discounts yo
