I never give up as killer. If you have that mentality then your going to lose plenty of games that you could maybe win. You may get a bad map, against a good team, while playing as a bad killer but all it takes is one moment to win a game.
Then we get into the definition of "winning" again in this game.
Imo winning = having a fun match.
If I have to sweat and play scummy till the end to get a 1k, 2k, 3k or 4k, then I did not win, I had a misserable time, but that is just my view, there is not set definition of winning in this game.

All Im saying is that Hemorrhage as a status effect would cause more bleeding to occur, which should make more orbs. Its consistency, and it doesn't make sense that it does not do that. If they made a rule then thats it, I guess (look at what they said about striking back at the killer and DS and Head On).
You do bleed more, you just dont drop more blood orbs, these are 2 different mechanics and again it would just skew the balance, suddenly an oni with that perk can get their power way quicker, combine that with some add ons and he will be in beast-mode the entire game.
Not healthy at all.
I guess that the real problem here is the naming of it, blood orbs, what if it was called "soul energy" or something? then this entire thread was not made but because its blood, you think other blood related parts of this game should have influence, but that is not how that works.

Do you realize what the reason of a main is or what that means?
to have something to fall back to, something you can rely on to do well with?
idk, boring either way, PLAY THEM ALL
-
@BenZ0 said:
I agree with that, I would love to see a timer for a game, I hate to have those 20min machtes because the last 2 survivors are just immersing around and camping hatch, not touching any gen.
I dont want a time limit on the entire match, but it would be nice if there was a "time limit" of sorts on survivors not doing anything to progress the game for an X amount of minutes.
Not touching gens, not being chased, X amount of minutes pass, get crows.

Wait a week, betting it goes live exactly as it was in the PTB and he'll still get nerfed for some nonsensical reason in the first few days. Or at very least wait for patch notes or streamers to get thsir hands on him
Breaking the chain no longer injures the survivor, only applies deep wound.
-
bruh, you are not suppose to have a main yo, PLAY THEM ALL
-
Typically when a new chapter comes out, killer queues are swamped, same as in the PTB.
So yeah I tend to play survivor purely because I can actually get games that way.
Also though, idk why but every time new DLC is released, it brings out the worst scum of the community so more often then not I tend ot just wait a bit before playing the game at all.
-
You actually believe they report you?
Reported for useless thread, enjoy your ban.

Idea: Let the killer tag someone, now THEY'RE the killer. So that Toxic Nea who's been looping you silly all game is now armed with a knife and no power against survivors who are the same speed as them. They also have a red stain now and a terror radius. Simple.
(No, I'm not being serious)
I dont mind the idea tbh, seems pretty hilarious to tag a survivor and suddenly swap roles with them
-
all the damn time
-
It is pretty lame, some games go well yeah, but if the survivors have a slight clue of what they are doing its pretty much impossible.
Yay...they are running to the infinite, so much fun...why are they even playing this game
Yay...they did a gen in my face, I down them right after oooh, DS, guess I was tunneling, so much fun.
Its honestly nigh impossible to have an actual good match, either you are stomping babies, which is not fun OR you cant make a dent, which is also not fun, its a world of extremes and both are bad.

Why? That ruins the game and offers no competitive value other than giving whiny killers a free “avoid DC penalty” card.
idk how many times i have to repeat this: ITS TO MAKE IT A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.
every survivor right now can just dip out on teh first hook, while killers have to stay and suffer through it.
I agree that allowing them to open the gate whenever would break the game, but that does not make it any more fair.

it'd be abused by killers wanting to de-rank though and not fair on 4 survivors who actually want to play a game
Same for you: Purposefully dying on the hook is currently abused by survivors wanting to de-rank and is not fair for teh 4 players who actually want to play a game.
The suggestion is merely there to make it a level playing field even though it would break the game.

No way. This would be heavily abused. Hex totem got cleansed? Open the gate. Had a bad first chase? Open the gate. It would be ridiculous, the escape points arent enough. It would have the give the survivors a pip as well as a lot more points to even be considered.
I agree it would be abused....same way how survivors abuse just dying on the hook..
Had a bad first chase? die on the hook
Got stopped doing a hex:totem? die on the hook
DH did not work? die on the hook.
I agree it would be abused, but it would be the most fair option if both sides had a fast out, but I repeat myself, it would kill the game so killers just have to suffer through it.
-
No, the reason those perks dont work is like you said, consistency, they dont work on any power, and that is how it should be.
Legion's Feral Frenzy provides relatively ez hits and with that some pressure, combining that with perk effect on top is just... just no.
Imo all they should do for Legion (if anything at all, I have a blast playing legion) is maybe some lasting effect after deep wound, deep wound is just dealt with (too) easily, and after that you are pretty much fine.
-
@Exerlin said:
I think killers should be allowed to open an exit gate at any time.
It would be the most fair option, maaaybe 2 gens need to be done first atleast but...but..... this will never be implemented as it will just kill the game honestly.
Sorry killers, you have to suffer through it.

Death hook moris would be pointless. Because its slower than hooking and means you don't get perk benefits like BBQ/PGTW/Thrilling/Blood Echo etc.
it is however pretty cool, I am in favor of offerings not meaning "ez win".
Could reward mori's with more bloodpoints or so
-
Nah, that would never happen, it would skew the game too much between beginning players and long term players.
This can only be something nearly meaningless for it to be fair.
I dont think its bad to have an iri shards boost upon leveling up, maybe like 1000 shards or so.
Next to that I think a Charm is the way to go, just a cosmetic, that changes its shape or icon on the shape based on your level.
So it could be a medalion with an artistic rendition of the number of your current devotion level.
-
Pretty much same opinion:
Mori's only work on deathhook
Yellow Mori is standard/base, I think this is actually not a bad way to end a match for either side, by a mori.
Keys:
Imo only broken keys should exist.
You can find the other part in the match (rare) or drop your key part for another survivor who then combines it with their part to make a whole key.
This would make an early hatch escape a tad more tricky but not so that its basically removed from the game.
(in general I dont really have an issue with keys, so they escape early, so what?, next game)
-
Survivor on its back
Bell over its face(head)
Wraith steps on the bell
Bell cuts through survivors neck
Wraith lifts the bell and hits it with the weapon
Dull ring as head is shaken loose and falls on the floor
Not that that will happen, way too difficult for the devs + we gotta keep the game PG13 so everyone can buy it and the game wont be banned.

Looking at the killer "difficulty" today just made me think. For instance, The Doctor has a "hard" difficulty. I think Doctor is one of the easiest characters to play well with, considering he hardly needs tracking perks, even after his passive nerf but overall buff. Hag is "intermediate," but I think she is only behind Nurse as far as absolutely mastering her power and abilities. Cannibal is "easy" because chainsaw = 1 tap, but learning how and when to use the chainsaw, especially without charge speed addons, is difficult and basically useless unless a survivor is in a dead zone.
What do you think? Maybe the devs just have the difficulty for understanding the power as opposed to mastering the killer?
The entire difficulty rating is just silly and should not be there at all.
-
Look seriously, if you are a survivor and you want out, just die on the hook, run to the killer, and die on the hook, ez.
If you are killer there is sadly no way out (the painful reality is that if there were such an option, like to open the exit gates at any time, the game would probably die) but what you can do is just go stand in the basement, facing the wall, alt tabbing out and do literally anything else while the survivors do the gens and leave.
-
I would love a replay option.
1 instand new match, 2 a chance to learn, 3 putting your money where your mouth is with the GGEZ endings.
As long as those who agree (hit a check box) are put in a lobby, with the rest of the space filled with new randommers (In case not everyone voted in favor) there literally would be no negative to this.
-
I dont think we want killers that use mori's
-
Its actually one of the handful of perks they mentioned taking a look at.
I like it the way it is though, I run it on my Ash mostly just to help others with it, however sligth that boost may be.
-
I get the confusion but Behavior has just made it a rule that no perks influence blood orbs or how they work.
This is also true for a lot of other interaction that does not work like snapping out of crazyness with the doctor and the perk: Huntress Lullaby.
I guess its just for balance reasons and also so it isnt too forced to run certain perks on certain killers.
If you suggestions were real, would anyone ever not run sloppy butcher on Oni? probably not and ot add a function to bloodhound regarding blood orb absorbtion range JUST for Oni is a bit weird, like if the blood orbs would just be visible more clearly sure, as that is what the perk does..
But yeah overall its just a no, on the survivor side I see less of an issue but its a bit about a perk sorta denying the killer their power, however random it may be to run into a specific killer while running that specific perk.
-
Seems like an ez solution...check your loadout.
It would be weirder and more annoying that your item just gets auto unequiped.
And my god this reasoning, "I had a key in my hand so a killer mori'd me so the item I kept from the previous match got me killed so this entire thing needs to be changed"
-
I mean, they get kills right? they are a KILLER sooo makes sense to me.
-
would be fine imo
-
its called aim dressing, and I agree

Lmao I don't know what are you trying to say with that.
I don't think a perk should be disabled just because someone is working on a gen, you can make the same argument with Bond, because with Bond you can sandbag people.
Another Idea, if you don't like icons that much what if the Gen sparkled when the perk activates? Like when you missed the Great Skillcheck with the Old Ruin, I think that would be nice.
Im just saying its OK if there is something that makes your perk not work perfectly.
Like lets talk about your Bond example, with bond, you still dont see people who hide in lockers right? should there be an icon or something stateing a survivor is closeby (like Whisperer) if they are hiding in a locker?
No, its fine as it is, if they are in a locker well then you cant see them, thems the rules.
So yeah if someone is working on a gen you had touched for 3 seconds to prep it for Red Herring, and thereby it gets turned off, I dont think thats such a problem, that is just part of the game.
But in the end I stated an Icon is fine, I just feel the game already gives too many icons as is, too much information.
The idea of a Gen sparkeling with maybe different coloured sparks, like green or purple, something that really stands out so they know Red Herring is in effect is a fine idea.
Heck we could combine that with my idea, Survivors would just see it was prepped with Red Herring (by coloured sparks) so they know to perhaps not work on it.
OR if they think its better that gen gets done, they can still work on it, turning Red Herring off.
-
Legion is fun

I wouldn't do that, since if you run away from the gen to a locker and then someone comes to repair it and you wouldn't be able to activate it even tho you didn't know that somebody went to that gen when you left.
What I would do is just let the other Survivors know that you have that perk, something like little icon of that perk when it is active, so the other Survivors know that they can be trolled, and that icon will go away after successfully activating that perk, alerting the Killer.
yeah and what would be the problem of that?
I work on a gen for 3 seconds, trying to have red herring, jump in a locker, someone else starts working on it.... oh dear I cant activate red herring, guess this entire game is now over? we lost?
Like that is just playing the game right?
but an Icon would work I guess....yet another one
-
I dont think you need much of a build to do so, just Red Herring.
But I already said, all Red Herring needs is that you cant "pop" a gen if someone is currently working on it, simple
-
A killers job is the kill, keeping gens from being done can help buy them time do so.
Or they can just let all the gens go and kill everyone in the endgame, their choice, simple.
A survivors job is to survive, that means doing the gens so the doors are powered and leaving, if you fear the possibility of NoeD and its ability to stop you from doing you job, you should adress that in time, their choice to take the risk, simple.

Add cd to bt, ds its op !! These survivor heavily sided threads are just sad... If survivors eould play more killer they would understand so many things
True but we dont have to bring up "the other side" when discussing something either, thats not how that works.
So just talk about what makes Infectious Fright strong or balanced or weak and if you want to talk about BT ot DS, just make a new thread.

Show me proof they're working on it.
watch the devstream before the last, they are talking pretty much only about this and why it happens and what they are going to do about it.
And if you are going to claim that is just them saying something but not actual proof they are working on it, then fine, no proof can be provided that would convince you at that point.

Sadly nothing needs to be done about what your asking. That is the product of survivor entitlement. Survivors see fit to give up instead of putting in effort to improve their gameplay because they are dealing with something that they don't wanna deal with.
kinda see that the other way around, why put in effort in a game the killer saw fit to completely skew in their favor.
They went for the insta hatchet for an ez game, ok fine, get me, ill die, you get your ez 4k and I can move on to a game with a bit more balance so there is some actual challenge, everyone happy right?

Hey @DwightOP
Our Customer Support has started the process of adding the cosmetics back. Many users have received their items but we aren't done with the process yet. EDIT: We should communicate when the process is over, if you still didn't receive them at that time and you think you should, please contact the CS at support.deadbydaylight.com
@SenzuDuck That is normal. The way the cosmetics were added to your inventory has changed and has been deprecated. The duplicates will eventually be removed.
Hope that helps!
Will we get a heads-up when the process is done so we know when we should have it all back?
-
Yeah its funny for me, my friends I played the event with have the cosmetics double atm, they never lost them but got a new set next to them.
Meanwhile I did not get mine back yet.

when i slow it down i finally see the animation for the hit but the palette was being pulled down during the animation and it was clear they were each on the other side of the palette. if server delay is this huge then ######### is BHVR doing with their server?
They explained it on the devstream before the last devstream.
You cant see it on this vid as this is the survivor playing, if you would look at the killers POV it would make sense that the hit connected.
The servers will give the killer the hit if the hit worked from the killers perspective most of the time, this can lead to hits that you would cry BS on from a survivor side and again, they are working on this.

Doctor, it would be the most disturbing.

Where are you getting those "SWF is not a problem " " SWF has 0% win rate" ? Clearly from other thread. Stay on topic.
Are you really not getting they are making fun of you for your silly thread?
You want to counter a long standing accepted truth, established over many games...with 1 game, aka a sample size of 1...
I .... I dont even know if I should bother, you dont seem to understand any of this.
-
Damian, would you pls just give some arguments as to why you think its OP?
It requires the killer to down another player, which if they are worth anything will take a while, and then requires other survivors to be (or not be depending on the goal of having it) within the terror radius AND not use calm spirit.
Dont know if a locker works against it or not.
I mean, how is that not enough requirement for a perk?
-
Just know that the killer was closer then you thought it was, server delay, they are working on it.
-
I mean, if YOU dont think its worth it...then dont bother with it, pretty ez really.
-
np, not every killer is for everyone, it would be lame if it was
-
Well...I like it, but I am hoping for some skins that radically change his appearance as well.
