In fact most hags I've come across won't even bother to tag ground near gens just hooks.

They are both territorial killers who gain mobility by placing their powers.
If they hooked you near a generator where else would they put it?
When one power being placed in front of you can both protect the hook and the generator it would be foolish to put it anywhere else.
I've seen a lot that do it even if it's not near a gen

Because basement defender bubba is a meme...?
It is? I did not know that.

Tbh i like grinding, it keeps me motivated to play this game.
BUT
I'm suggesting to lower some item and offering prices. Also just retire the Murky Reagent 7k bps because no one uses it and it's expensive.
I honestly despise grinding but do it as I need to.

Basement is fine the only thing I would like is 2 chests to spawn down there so bubba has more to defend
How many people actually defend the basement? Most survivors bring their own gear in a lot of matches so you'd mostly be wasting time trying to defend it.
-
Well levelling survivors also adds the thing of unlocking their teachable perks. To do this fully they'd have to get rid of teachables and make all perks part of one blood web.

Any time anyone speaks out about the game, people just say, no your wrong your just bad or its only you. This forum will defend anything this company does. almost like they have a moral duty to defend the game against criticism at all costs, even if the criticism is warranted. And this is why the game will never improve, the game has only like 40k people online right now as of writing this, and the game has 364,000 very positive reviews on steam. i never see those numbers during peak times, that saids something about the design choices and the future for this game. In almost 5 years, Dead by daylight has done almost nothing to innovate the game and or change the playstyle.
You're a shill. There, I said it.

Eh. I'm happy it's there for the completionists and for those who prefer the blood stained skins. It doesn't take away from the game and it also gives some players out there motivation to play and that's great. I know I'm never doing it though, the grind is, or rather was, unbearable as is for me.
I mostly want better item drops I'll probably just do a second character to P3 and make those two my main ones.

You guys seriously make a new chapter even though every console player is still stuck with the bugs that came with the previous chapter?
The game is literally unplayable because of all the lag, whenever anything happens, someone gets hit, hooked, grabbed, saved or vaults or activates an exhaustion perk the game just freezes for 0.5/1 second straight.
Maybe if the game would be fixed first so people can actually have a good time, you would have a bigger playerbase. But f... the console players amirite?
You hate DBD but here you are posting on a DBD forum. Personally I have a love hate relationship with it.
-
Tunneling and camping are just poor tactics and only really effective against solo que groups rather than SWF organised groups so you'll only be really screwing over people in solo and it's hard enough to know if your team mates are competent in solo.
-
@Clowning said:
I believe there's a small increase in rarity, but it has been made incredibly tiny on purpose, as to not make players feel that P3 is something they ought to aim for.
Raises the question of why bother having it if they're not going to make it worth aiming for.

I wish killers got ugly sweaters, imagine how cold some of them are.
Freddy has one.
-
I plan to get him when I get paid next. I like that you can have another character on the same character like a whole transformation into someone else.
-
Err hard choice there's a lot of freaky looking killers.
-
I say this cause every Hag I've come across literally just uses the ability to tunnel last one I faced literally put them all around everyone she hooked like literally every direction. I tried to sneak up to not set them off and one of my team mates just goes running up to hook....and I'm like really? It's a hag she has those down. They always do that. But even when I don't set them off most will usually run right back to hook anyway.
-
It's good for when you can't rely on rando team mates to heal you or if you don't have anyone around to heal you but sometimes it's better to run perks to help you find teams mates to heal you. Running on one health state is risky though.
-
Why would you reskin Hawkins? That map is terrible. Few vault points and pallets. Very open. So small it's easy for killers to track all the gens and tunnel at the same time.

Being upset for ridiculous reasons*
Well I don't enjoy people being upset even for ridiculous reasons I wish there was less of that toxicity in the game but sadly you can't avoid it here.
-
I've also had killers get upset because I escaped. I remember once a whole team got out and the killer literally told us to "get the f out of his match"
-
I don't enjoy it but eh people will find all sorts of reasons to get toxic.
-
That being said I've had survivors get pissy at me for killing them or people in their groups. I don't tunnel or camp and still I get some getting pissy at me because their entire team don't make it out.
-
Enjoying others being upset sounds unhealthy.
-
Nurse is top tier if you can get the hang of her.
-
That list looks faulty
I'd say turn it upside down and it'd be far more accurate.

I find most perks even on survivor side are kind of you're never going to use. I probably only ever run perks from the non-dlc survivors except for Decisive Strike most of the other perks seem not all that useful same with killer there's probably a small portion of useful perks among so many that aren't that really worth slotting. It'd be nice if they made more perks actually worth running.
-
This game can be frustrating at times and it burns me out.
-
A good nurse can be hard to fight but what annoys me is the ones who use the nurse power to just jump back to hooks and tunnel you. If you're good at nurse it's already a challenge you don't need to tunnel.
-
Whichever one doesn't camp or tunnel.
-
It is a bad map for survivors. Small, easy for killers to patrol, few vaults or hiding spots. Easy to get caught.
-
I'm not so sure it's in their minds but some have mention some killers show signs of being tortured if they resisted the entity I feel as if the entity makes them do this whether they want to or not.
-
They should also get a bonus for solo queing. Also get a big bonus if you get hook camped or tunneled and decrease points earned by camping and tunneling killers.
-
Teleportation? That would be useful.
-
I just would want Shaggy cause Shaggy.
-
You remind me of the ban? What ban? The ban with the power? What power? The power of voodoo? Who do? You do? Do what? Remind me of the ban.
-
Good question. Something the devs can only answer and hopefully have plans to actually implement one.

tbf the shrine itself should only offer up perks you don't have until theres none left at which point its random. - or at the very least garuntee it once per week to have one survivor and one killer perk that you don't have.
it would balance it out immensely.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2441058#Comment_2441058
well i mean thats what this would do, grant a bunch of free perks to killers and survivors, but also give new perks to those that already have those chapters/paragraphs. effectively evening it out.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2440723#Comment_2440723
I mean, if they reworked the already owned perks into something different, you'd effectively be getting seperate new perks per killer/survivor etc, of which are already likely on others due to them being teachables.
you'd be essentially getting a reworked perk for free, with the same perk being able to be found in your bloodweb for free. i don't think people should be rewarded any more for essentially getting perks early and without having purchased the dlcs.
Well to be fair they literally won't be able to purchase the DLC any more.
-
The answer is 42.
-
One I went against actually left two portals near a hook.
-
I only wish so many wouldn't camp and tunnel as demo. Most I've gone against will leave a portal near hooks and even if you get rid of it before unhooking they'll just run right back to hook.

I had like 100k BP as a Survivor during the anniversary event. I finally was able to P3 some characters.
Back to normal: 20 BP most of the time. Not even enough to complete a full level 50 to get the 373628193 perks I still miss on some characters.
I wish we have more BP events. 👀
Same here.

I think new years event will have some extra BP? If not then next summer event with new cakes
Bonus xp cakes are good. I was able to get quite a lot of bloodpoints during the anniversary event due to this.

You did not just say "that's about it", did you?
"Old purple instaheal just gave you one healthstate, that's about it"
"MoM 1.0 just gave you one healthstate after 3 hits, that's about it"
See any patterns here?
Ruin only gives you regressing gens when someone's not on it that's about it.
NOED only gives you one hit downs on survivors. That's about it.
-
People should also remember you literally only get one chance to use dead hard in a chase and that's when you're already injured. It's not an infinite use ability that gets you away from killers it gives you a short boost which if timed right may dodge a killers strike or get you to a pallet drop point or a vault spot but that's about it.
-
Dead hard needs very specific timing to be used right either when the killer is about to slash or if you need to make it to a pallet or vault point. Used at the wrong time and it doesn't help you at all.

Listen for the rustling of grass and footsteps. The best spirit players never even ran stridor, because there are more than enough environmental cues to indicate where a survivor is moving. Bad spirits ran stridor because they were overeliant on breathing and injured groans, which made her stupid easy to play. Shes a lot like any other high skill killer, you need to actually git gud at her to be OP against iron will teams.
Which is ironic given so many survivor mains claim she is OP and impossible to counter as is.
