Agreed, it is pretty silly how killers got the hook counter, which is almost useless and just not the best use of the already new bad UI.

Demogorgon nodding his head is quite the spectacle. If you do it against a tree he looks like a woodpecker.

I change my answer to I would love it.

I think Oni is already a strong Killer, but I don't think reducing the start up is too big a deal. I think it would be fine.
The reason his GREEN addon the scalped topknot is so powerful is because it makes such a huge difference.
This would make it much less impactful and make sense for a green addon, and it would help Oni in a chase. I know it seems werid buffing an already strong killer, but it is only to make his green addon make more sense. In some places, the Oni can't do much because it takes too long to channel his demon dash. The scalped topknot is incredibly powerful.
-
Killer: The Pig with the addon giving you one more RBT and an extra box to search.
Hex:: Thrill of the Hunt, Thanatophobia, undying, and ruin.
Map: Lery's
Have fun
-
I think it would be good on clown. Sure, you could use pop, but you are a killer who sucks in a chase.
I think it would be better to use surge so you don't waste your time kicking a generator and be constantly moving as you should be. Or even better (sort of) ruin.
-
Sometimes you can't stop him from slowing you, but what you do is just play it safe and he can do nothing about it.
If you are at a loop, just drop the pallet early and don't try to loop it or you will take a hit from being slowed. You can also try to bait him by letting him use a speed and slow bottle at somewhere like the shack. If he uses the speed one and follows up with a tonic, then just run to another spot if you can.
His bottles are all he's got, if you delay him from getting a hit, then you delay him from doing literally anything.
-
I agree with making the "kickstart" idea for kicking generators that takes just 3 seconds and has to be done all at once (no tapping the kickstart). That way, if a survivor happens to take you to a loop that has a generator on it, they can't tap the gen to get rid of it. It would also give killers some stall if a generator is about to be finished but is practically 99%. It would make it easier for them to chase survivors away from them. It is also not a huge change that would mess with anything else.
-
I don't think so

Deliverance
-
My first impression was just that he was cool and really fun, but now I am worried the devs might not fix him before he goes live.
I do like him and he seems awesome, but I think his power is weak and very underwhelming.
However, I think he can be fixed. I think his knives should bounce one time at base (without the double damage) and needs to be more skillful with a higher reward (at least 8 knives to get one health state... really?)

Slashers can have bright clothes and a flamboyant personality. It's a nice contrast to the norm, but it doesn't detract from the violent, sadistic psychopathic part. It highlights it.
Seriously, this is literally the most psychotic and dark killer we have ever gotten. He recorded his victims screams and put them in his songs. He tortured people for hours on end. He was welcomed into the fog when he created an orchestra by torturing his bosses. His fabulous nature clashes beautifully with his absolute pitch-darkness.
A rival for doctor, who literally got a job doing what he loves. And that was torturing people. Who is more sadistic?

Fair enough, I did ask for a summerize.
I'll still need more precisions, tho.
Me moves at 150% movement speed at base now which is faster than just purple windstorm. It is a great change.

SB. lithe, and BL extends the chase by gaining a great amount of distance, SB does it right away and the other's do it upon a condition.
Dead hard is not used the same way as the distance you get with it is so small it barely extends the chase which is why it is used to get to vaults/pallets. If survivors you go against are not using it that way at tiles then they simply don't know how to use the perk.
The baiting it out argument is ONLY true in the open as well as what killer you are playing, once they can use it to get to a vault/pallet as most killers you can't do anything and that amount of time you have extended the chase is greater then the other exhaustion perks. Lithe is probably situationally stronger IF the killer messes up and doesn't follow the most optimal way to reach you and even then against certain killers lithe is out preformed greatly by dead hard.
Exactly, the fact that lithe and BL have conditions automatically make them a little harder to use.
SB on the other hand, can be used assuming that the survivor using it isn't already exhausted. If they are always waiting to use it when the killer comes for them, they aren't using it properly. It is used not just to run away from the killer, but to get to teammates or generators faster. If you walk to only use it in a chase, then you are severely reducing the amount of work you can get done since you are walking the whole time.
So if a survivor is using SB properly, they should be exhausted more often than not.
The baiting out argument is not only true when survivors are in the open, there are times in a loop where you have little time to see the survivor and you have to just swing if you mindgamed them right (i.e they vaulted a pallet that you don't have LOS to but can be mindgamed). It is hard to explain and it would be better to show you through video.

Oh yeah its just a case that after devs revealed that OoO and DS would be nerfed everyone started crying about a perk that doesn't even work most of the times.
Next is adrenaline, then bt, then ub. Or maybe nerf power struggle which according to a lot of people here would've become problematic yet literally noone uses it.
OoO works in SWF groups, and it works too well. The fact that 4 people on comms who are most likely good can immediately know your location or what you are doing especially as hag and trapper is ridiculous. It also doesn't have any cooldown or restrictions.
DS works even without it being there because it creates an obsession, meaning the killer has to assume that everyone has DS or be severely punished for it. And it doesn't have to be used for it to work since the killer will most likely tunnel you. This is not taking into account that it can be used offensively. You could take a protection hit or even two after healing for a teammate and do it because you still have DS active.
Adrenaline is pretty balanced since all generators need to be completed for it to get used, and it only happens once.
BT is a perk that is a band-aid fix for camping and also helps with tunneling. It also promotes survivors rushing hooks and never going for safe unhooks. I honestly think it is bad for new players because they never learn to safely unhook.
Unbreakable, I am not sure. It is powerful, but I am just unsure whether or not it needs a nerf. I am pretty sure it is also a band-aid fix to slugging though.
Power struggle is very situational and you practically need flip-flop to use it properly. The survivor trying to get it to work is sacrificing 2 perk slots for something that might not happen.

Dead hard is absolutely fine, they shortened every single loop keeping in mind that dead hard was a thing. If they are ever gonna touch dead hard i would expect a lot of loops to be made safer than they are.
As usual now that they are gonna nerf ds and OoO the community needs another scapegoat as an excuse for their loss
Doubtful
And tbf DS and OoO's nerf's are justified.

Maybe I'm just being overly skeptical but I could have sworn I posted a comment containing similar terminology and talking points to what you said. Then again, maybe there's simply not much room for differentiation in criticizing this perk.
Yeah, actually you did. I sort of copied off of that forgetting who originally said this because they were good points. Sorry about that, I'll give you credit.
Here is what you said a few comments ago.
"Yes because unlike the other exhaustion perks, it's unconditional. Lithe requires a window, Balanced requires a falling spot, and Sprint Burst needs to be saved by walking around slowly or 99ing it."
-
I had just played a game on Haddonfield against 3 survivors using unb + DS and they all had BT with other meta perks. This was quite recently. I ended up camping different survivors on hooks as Pig because what else could I do? The whole game they of course were running the structures well ngl (keep in mind every house is an infinite), but there was literally nothing I could do. When they went to the car pallet loops, I tried my best to use the dash, but it is just too predictable and weak.
And then they of course cry about it even though I only managed one kill. But when I ask them what else I could do, they simply replied "Just play better".

You refuse that the killers can freely choose whether or not to face a team using a external advantage, akin to cheating, but you accept that these same teams can have an unbalanced advantage over the killer without constraints or consequences. The killer may be fooled by the lobby for the selfish pleasure of the survivors, but it would be unthinkable to allow the killer to have fun at the expense of the SWF lobbies ?
I say it again, don't change a thing.
Most of the people who play dead by daylight players play survivor more than killer. Survivors already have long queue times because no one wants to play killer. If a killer who could see a lobby with a SWF group, they would dodge lobbies even more than they already do. That would increase the already very long queue times for most of the player base and it would also shrink. I was just being logical about this.
-
Sort of. I want his overheat mechanic gone, but some addons to stay.
I think the devs nerfed him because he was able to spam his chainsaw, but I believe they overdid it. They also messed with his camera which makes chainsawing survivors incredibly hard and so weird.
-
I mean, if you gave pyramid head a cooldown of 20 seconds each time he put his knife in the ground, that means he would be a killer without a power for 20 seconds. Imagine if he misses his shockwave as well. He also wouldn't be able to place trenches very efficiently too.
-
These perks are very different and have little in common.
-
Either good or bad perks. Most likely bad perks.
-
That would kill him.

Spanish is not that easy, I had more than 6 years with english and I barely was able to hold a conversation. Being that said, I am argentinian and my native language is spanish so whenever you need any help, let me know and I'll be happy to help.
thanks for the offer and I will keep it in mind

I'm hoping/expecting a perk related to breakable walls- either putting them back up, or breaking them yourself.
I would rather that being a mechanic than a perk.

I feel like his 3sec reloading makes he's really dangerous in chase. Since survivor barely have a chance to escape with that short time. While being slowed down doesnt solve his map pressure problem.
I think Increase his reloading time (6sec), but doesnt slowed down. That will make him punished if he makes mistake in chase. But he will always prepared after he traveling to other side of the map, and ready to make chase.
I don't think this should happen, he is already the weakest killer even with his buffs. The last thing he needs is more punishment to his power.

This is just code for "I hate slugging, camping, and tunneling."
And by that I meant, a huntress using iri head + soldiers belt or other powerful addons while hitting survivors on hook to get them to DC. I have already mentioned in the past that all of the strategies listed above I do when necessary and I don't have a huge problem with them.

*Uses the force to pull Dwight out of a locker
"MMMM HIDING IN A LOCKER, DWIGHT IS"
-
I disagree, if killers could see that the survivors are SWF, then they would lobby dodge for those ez lobbies much more frequently.
-
Now you can see the survivor's boredom waiting about 8 minutes for a lobby only for the killer to dodge if they think it is a SWF.
-
I know it is translated right there, but I wish I knew more than just english. I have had spanish classes for 3 years and I still don't know how to have a conversation in that language :(

No, I think it would make the killer play really toxic to get someone to rage quit.

I don't see how thats any different than it is now.
It would be different because now survivors would still go for the save against stealth killers or killers using stealth perks. This would completely remove any counterplay around the perk, leaving the only one who could work around this. And that killer is the huntress.

Don't worry. We know they will be super underwhelming with a cooldown of 10 years and probably nerfed when they hit live servers :')
"They will work on a system of charges"
That seems to be a recurring idea.

All of the chase musics are pretty cool, I think BHVR will do a good job on it. Can't say the same for the actual perks characters coming out.

Survivor looping around the hook means that the killer is in a chase, so the hook progress is not stopped.
Bubba can camp even currently, but with my suggestion the gens would be all done and bubba would get at most that single kill. Yes, it could be boring for that single survivor, but same boring for the killer, and killer even would not get a lot of bloodpoints... So I think it would be very painful for the killer as well and therefore they would not camp.
That would still not solve camping and then could instead be abused by the killer. The killer is then asserting pressure on two survivors and is in a winning position.
-
Very simple, but not a good one. It could be abused by survivors looping near the hooked survivor. Against an inexperienced killer, it would probably take longer to catch a good survivor. This would also make the survivor on the hook have a very boring experience.
Also, imagine BUBBA camping if this was a thing. It is already unfun as hell, but now you have a paused timer? Imagine being on the hook in the basement against an insidious bubba for 6 minutes.
-
True, I have run into about ten of them in the last 2 weeks. That is a huge jump because it used to be ZERO.
-
If it was a range of 32 meters and not fixed to the terror radius, survivors would run the perk and just go for the save. It would just be BT left and right being spammed because they know there is nothing you can do to stop it. (although it already teaches MANY survivors to not properly save)

sorry I don't know the words made small what perks are BT and ST
BT = Borrowed Time - A teachable perk for the survivor Bill
SG = Soul guard - A teachable perk for the survivor Cheryl
-
No, not for killers.
The only killers that can inflict it with their power are legion and deathslinger.
The perks BT, SG, or the styptic agent for medkits on survivors can allow them to take an additional hit and be given the deep wound status effect if hit during its duration of the endurance status effect.
