Totem counter takes away from the horror of the game.
Which is why I made something that immerses survivors more because they have to look for totems to know how many are left making it more immersive. I specifically said I didn't want a number counter, but something you have to look for in the environment.

Not sure they can do the breeze effect without screwing the frame rate.
It is just a sound que, not a full on animation.

It kinda defeats the purpose of a totem counter for solo queue if the only person who knows the real count is the last one to cleanse a totem. It's still better than nothing though.
I don't think it is that bad because if survivors want to see how many totems are left they have to check on an uncleansed totem. It is better than nothing and definitely something for solo players, they need whatever they can get at this point and I think this idea really will help. It encourages totem cleansing which would be healthy.

He's a stealth killer, so giving him a chasing power is just too much, especially when you consider that Wraith's playstyle and power allows him to basically get the first hit on the survivor for free, before there's any actual chase or looping involved.
I'd buff his stealth even more, make it so you can't see his shimmer outside a ten metre radius and make the bone clapper add-on base kit to add a fear factor of not knowing when he's exactly coming.
The killers in this game that specialise in stealth, NEED to have strong stealth, not some half-assed stealth that doesn't do anything. At least Wraith needs some type of pure stealth, since GF and Myers have other abilities tide to their stealth.
Yeah, I change my statement to "I think his stealth should be buffed even more if anything" after reading a few other comments. It would make him unique and stronger at what he does.
-
I think that would be too strong, it would also make survivors fight for totems instead of doing gens.
-
It is still there, he just forgot to uncloak it.
Seriously though, this bug has been around for months now.

Because the state it is in right now is just abusable and pretty unfair. It offers total protection for a full minute regardless if the survivors with it active is being tunneled or not.

For decimating and making a 4-man SWF group look like a joke, I can remember the words "bye bye account :)" and "we all reported, say goodbye to your account (racist word insert here)". lmao in other words being good at the game
I told them that I recorded the game and if they would like to see where they messed up I would be happy to show them on my yt channel lol
They then told me to uhh self-delete myself if u know what I mean

True, he still could probably use a lil' something, but no one can be sure until we see.

Map offering: Mother's dwelling - For maximum large distance to travel and little LOS breakers
Perks: Coulrophobia, unnerving presence, distressing, dark devotion - For the memes of course, you are practically running no perks.
Goal: Kill as many survivors as possible (if possible)
When losing type: "I swear this game is so broken" or "burger king myers OP plz nerf"

@Haddix said:
Wraith shouldn't have any help in the chase as he's a stealth killer. And I'm not saying you think he should, just in general.
Saying Wraith should have a chase power is like saying the silent Hitman must have a minigun to be effective. No, he's a silent Hitman, not a war machine.
Wraith, even before the invisibility buff, and now the speed buff, was actually an alright killer with the right build and playstyle. Now, I think he's a super-effective stealth killer, the best at this point IMO. The problem with how people rate his strength is that they rate it on his chase, where it should be on his stealth and how deadly his hit and run playstyle is.
You don't rate Oni's strength based on his stealth in Blood Fury lol, you rate it based on what it's good at - getting a ton of downs at once and playing super aggressively. You rate Wraith based on how good his STEALTH is, which is super good right now.
I do like your first idea for the blink addons, definitely would run those here and there.
Yeah, I guess he is fine and will only better using his best playstyle with the upcoming buff, but I feel that his hit-and-run playstyle is still very weak against good survivors.

Just because players don't play Nurse much, doesn't make her any less overpowered. I'd much rather have a nice balanced killer that everyone can play and can play against rather than a killer that is a waste of matchmaking time for both the player and survivors because she's a guaranteed 4k.
Nurse is OP, but she takes the most skill to play. The odds of you running into a nurse in general is very low. There are also more pressing problems than a killer that few people play.

No, Nurse is not fine.
Her power is so broken that it needs to be removed from the game entirely.
I will agree her power is broken, but when is the last time you went against a nurse who plowed right through you? There are other more important things to deal with.
-
Why would I waste my time trying to change the opinion of a person who is totally in the wrong?
-
And just why would a nurse player have at most have ONE 8 meter blink while moving at 110%? I don't think you thought this through at all since you are giving her fatigue if she uses a chain blink... but you aren't giving her any chain blink to use in the first place.

Do you have alot of experience with both ? I'd say slinger has more options for reads with his shots but as slinger main my opinion on this is quite biased.
Yes, not lately with deathslinger, but frequently with huntress. Slinger is just easier because you can practically instantly shoot a survivor with no counterplay to it. Huntress on the other hand does what he does a bit slower, but far more flexible (no range limit).
Huntress can threaten anyone who is out in the open and slinger has to walk over to them as a 110% killer. Huntress also doesn't have to constantly reload and it becomes even less detrimental when using her addons that increase hatchet capacity.
-
Huntress for sure. She is just so much better than slinger and fun to play as or against. It comes down to reads and accuracy with hatchets.
Slinger is decent at best honestly, but huntress is pretty strong.

To be fair you can't complain if you refuse to use one of the killer counters.
Is it really a counter though? You can play stealthy against any killer so I wouldn't really call it counterplay but rather a specific playstyle for survivors.
-
No.
-
They restored just a little bit of my faith in them, just a little. What needs to happen is they need to address all of the problems they currently have (not with the game itself only) with the community and why they don't work as hard as they should. Of course that'll ever happen.
-
@Profezia said:
Spirit is fine.
Just utilize stealth tactics to make her waste time looking for you. She's exceptionally good at chases, but is very bad at finding survivors especially if they are trying to hide from her.
Spirit is anything but fine lol.
Not everyone wants to always play stealthy against a killer with little to no counterplay.
-
That would completely break the game.
-
It would be nice, but if they push out another bad update people will still login just for the BP. This will make the devs think that the update wasn't bad. But yeah, I would love some login rewards.

Oni does not need any buffs or nerfs, should worry more about weaker killers like Trapper or Pig <3
I would make this sort of list for Pig and Trapper, but I will wait until they are changed first. I would change their addons, but their powers are so weird and RNG reliant, if I changed the addons there is a good chance the devs will buff them. They have already said that Pig will get some changes in their last QnA.

@brokedownpalace said:
Oni absolutely does not need any buffs
You are telling me that his iri family crest is fine? I am only tweaking his base power and buffing his useless addons.
-
@AhoyWolf said:
I don't really agree with your Oni's charge time reduction, maybe it could get a slight reduction to 1.75 seconds, but not 1.5 seconds imo, and topknot could be changed to -0.25 seconds, like you suggested, that's fine.
I like the add-on changes! I would personally change Iri Family Crest to have the same effect as before, but the activation condition would be when downing a Survivor in Demon Dash, not when missing, so like mini Infectious Fright.
I reduced the charge times accordingly.
Changing the IFC to a mini infectious fright I feel wouldn't be that great. You would only even get use out of it when in bloody fury mode, and you could just run infectious fright instead to completely overrule it and be able to use it normally.

Even with those changes u are better off with a duration one and ink lion, and not a fan of changing the base 2s to start demon dash, yes they are some tiles u can't play with the dash and that's completely fine. Other then that yeah they seem fine, especially IFC neat concept
The main point of changing the charge time was to make the ST an actual green addon. I reduced the numbers since people agreed that it was too powerful before. I think that these changes should be better to balance out the ST with just a little compensation.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
As an Oni main I don't agree with the reduction on charge time. It doesn't seem much but 0,5 seconds is sometimes the time the survivor needs to reach a window or a pallet. Even if some loops are bad for Demon Dash (like long walls or TLs), you can still chase as a 115% killer with a super long lunge that instadowns.
I liked the addon reworks though.
I changed it to 1.75 at base and -.25 with the ST, will that be alright? The main reason I want to change it is to make the ST feel like a green addon and put it in where it's supposed to be. With this change, it will still be good, just not his best addon good.

@Blazelski said:
I think you've overtuned him a bit. You have to keep in mind he's already in a very good place. I think buffing his base demon dash while nerfing the topknot may be an okay idea, but I wonder if 1.75 seconds base and -.50 for the topknot would be better. Also it's clear to me that we have different opinions on just how strong iridescent addons should be. Personally, I'm not down with auto-losing as survivor just because the killer brought 2 ultra rare addons this game. I'm not sure what to do with the Glove, but it was too strong before, though it is also too weak now. I also think the first sentence of your Crest suggestion is a fantastic addon by itself. The other part could also be a reasonable iri on its own, but I think both is too much. That said, I think I like the rest of your ideas.
I also think his addons that increase movement speed while absorbing blood need to be reworked into lesser versions of the topknot. Also the ones that decrease the consumption penalty of downing a survivor need to be changed because they are simply outclassed by the duration addons. I suggest either increasing the turn rate of Demon Dash (by small numbers), or allowing a much greater turn rate when coming out of Demon Dash.
Yeah, I fixed it. It did seem a bit too strong.
I don't think his turning speed should be changed, mayyyybe a slight turning addon that can't be stacked but really good turning on Oni would be stronger than the topknot. I also don't want to over buff his addons with effects that could be strong when stacked.
-
Yeah, I figure I might as well since their team left them.
-
Yes, it makes it much more useful in a chase. Against decent survivors who know how to dodge, this becomes much better. This should be the only thing base kit though.
Demo honestly could use a tune-up for his addons.

Your 100% correct about that the only change Oni needs was his demon dash and Scalped Topknot. Thank you
Actually, his addons could use some changing and tweaking. But he is still good regardless.
-
It is still lame to do, the time a killer could hook that last person means that a generator (probably the last one) could be finished before the killer goes straight to it, but a DC will just immediately rob you of extra time. It isn't as bad, but still sort of lame.

Be quick to type up a defense when salty people start berating you, for example:
"Trash killer has to hit survivors to win"
Response:
"lmao git gud n00b"

ok I just skimmed through this and realized afterwards you are asking for tips with the controls lol
It is honestly just muscle memory and you will get used to it all with practice, there is not much else I can think of that will help. Practicing with someone else in KYF will help out A LOT both for the game and your skill with the keyboard and mouse.

Explain?

Keep in mind how much time dh can buy for the press of a button multiple times and can stack on four different survivors.
