Killers only have trouble with SWF but people forget the worse suffering solo survivors have to go through dealing with bubba’s like that
One more reason to despise toxic SWF teams.
They mess with the killers and it's the solo queue afterwards that has to suffer for that.
Everytime I verse a killer that facecamps first hook I'm just like "aaah yeah... They probably faced some cocky SWF teams earlier".
As if solo queue wasn't already a roulette but then we get to face killers that are going into the match with a hostile mindset because of toxic SWF teams.
-
Solo is a mixed bag. On some days you just want to uninstall after getting nothing but potato teammates all day but if you play at the right time of the day you can get ridiculously good teammates even solo.
Yesterday -I kid you not- my gf played a solo match and she and her team pumped out 4 gens in 2 min 40s - and there were no toolboxes and no prove thyself.
Again: 4 gens in 2 min 40s against a rank 3 Spirit. (she recorded it too. If someone doubts it I can upload it to my channel)
Needless to say everyone escaped.
She played that match in the morning. I too noticed that my killer matches are a lot more difficult when I play them in the morning.

Dealt with a 4 man with 3 object as doctor on autohaven.
Rotten Fields for me. I hate that map with a passion. Was that Object team of yours italian by any chance?

I fight for my 1k even in the worst situations.
Pretty much this.
Had to deal with the most disgusting 4 man team the other day.
All 4 brought Object of Obsession combined with the typical meta, all 4 macro clickers, all 4 with stretched screen and possibly hacked camera angle (I looked up one of them afterwards and realized they were streaming and can see over virtually every loop because the camera was like really far away from them).
I barely managed to get 1 of them (3 hooked) and another one of them started hiding the second he was on death hook.
But as soon as the gates were open they literally came into the map looking for me to macro click in my face again knowing I could do nothing about it as a 2-hit killer (didn't play Leatherface) as I have to hit them and give them a free Sprint Burst that allows them to run all across the map and escape anyway.
I guess getting that 1k really hurt their ego.
But yeah, the second I realize it's an experienced bully team using every advantage in the book I'm basically just playing for the 1k.
-
Aaaaaw ❤️ That's exactly what I see when someone plays Demogorgon.
-
Yeah, them darn killers that try to play a normal match without Object of Obsession SWF clicky clicky teams. Terrible people these killers amIrite ?
-
Is it scummy to do the objective in a way that's unfun for the survivors?
If so, is it just as scummy to do the objective in a way that's unfun for the killer?
-
Clicky clicky is pretty toxic in my opinion as these guys give no damn about the fact the killer player could suffer from epilepsy.
As for the topic I don't think much of people trying to kobe but I've seen a couple people hit struggle because they forgot they were hanging for a while before I got there.
These guys make me chuckle I admit.
-
Looks like the killer played for the very first time and had a hard time figuring out how to even hook you.
Anyway it's obvious all of them worked with the killer so I hope you took your time to report all of them individually.
-
No map is generally killer sided.
However some maps CAN spawn with mostly deadzones (Shelter Woods, some Azarov maps) but even then it's an rng issue because I've seen legit god-loops on Shelter Woods and reworked Azarov maps like multiple long wall jungle gyms right next to each other with unmindgameable pallets in between and killer shack near-by.
That seems ridiculous considering the very same maps can spawn with a bunch of T-L walls and no pallets in between.
-
A meta build Nurse/Spirit has a chance.
Everything else in the game is too weak to verse a perfect team without a doubt.
-
I play with two friends (both 2017/2018 players) a few times a year.
We aren't bringing competitive builds and even then most matches feel outright boring because I either get 1 single chase before the gates are powered or I get no chases at all as my friends know how to loop as well so I don't even want to imagine how boring it must be to play the game in a well coordinated 4 man team with meta builds.

Question is what was the typo in question. Did you mean to say "more comments" or "ogre comments" ? 🤔
I certainly hope you weren't going to be mean about ogres. Shrek is a damn hero afterall !
No seriously... The first Shrek movie still has top tier animations. Movie is aging really well or is it just me ?

Someone literally said LGBTQ+ characters were "yuck" to think about and there's "many thing wrong with [them]" so you clearly need to read ore comments.
Quote: "you clearly need to read ore comments."
Interesting thought: Had you put 1 single letter in between the "o" and "r" your statement would make just as much sense as if you had said "more" because a person has to be a total "ogre" to say "LGBTQ+ characters were yuck" in 2021.
Then again I'm sure even Shrek is mature enough to respect EVERY type of sexuality.

Did they agree on anything in particular regarding game changes that should be made or tested ?

Are you complaining because you're not 4king right out of the bat on red ranks with the hardest killer in the game?
The new MMR is not on yet. Either continue playing and deppiping for easier games or wait until it is on.
They said they're complaining about not getting matched against survivors that are on the gameplay-level of "his Nurse". That's why they mentioned the MMR.

He could have escaped if he just run and drop down, into the god pallet.
That's not why I posted the clip. I posted it to show that I usually use "normal" perks like any other red rank killer.

I’m sorry, that terrible build hurts my eyes
You should know better than that. Obviously I run the typical slowdown meta like anyone else when I expect competent teams but since I played that particular match at night I knew I could run whatever I want and win anyway.

I'm in america, but I tend do get people all over place most of the time, and early morning games for me are rough. Don't play early morning anymore due to it. I can down a person in like 15 seconds, and it doesn't matter at all. Even with 8 stacks of STBFL and being a really high tier clown player. I struggle hard in early morning games. Like you said any longer than 20 seconds and the game is over. It's rough. Late night is much better. I wish I could have fun in the game no matter what time of the day, but can't have that, because people like to be fun suckers.
Yeah best thing is they'll usually act like total arses over a win as well further reducing any fun factors.
I wish playing killer wasn't such a vastly differing experience so people would at least understand what one means when they're complaining about killer gameplay.
Like yeah... Anyone can beat bad survivors like the Steve in the clip above but I don't want the win to be dependant on "how bad" the survivors are.
I just want a balanced gaming experience. If they all beat me individually in a chase (as in all of them can hold a chase of around a minute) then I will gladly accept a 4 man escape but right now you can basically -and I will quote @DevourOfSalt on this- not even breath in the direction of a gen before it pops (when facing competent/aggressive survivors).

What region you play on? Same thing with me. I feel like early morning is when it's at it's worse.
I'm from germany so when I play in the morning I occasionally face UBK or other tournament teams, Sawpalin and his friends (who are easily better than most tournament players I've seen so far) etc.
At this point I'm not even feeling like playing in the morning anymore.
If I play at night however I too get them "EZ 4K games" that usually start like this (names censored for obvious reasons):
https://youtu.be/nowWTCZhCM4If I always got "these kind" of games I would say killer is hideously easy but damn... The difference between "normal survivors" and elite level survivors is just... Difficult to explain.
-
I definitely figured out the killer's power.
It's called "earworm" because that's literally what the teaser is. I can't get this damn teaser-beat out of my head.
Thanks BHVR !
-
Yupp. I know what you're talking about.
DBD is nearly unplayable as killer in the morning for me as that's when all the gen aggressive teams are playing in my region. Even 20 second chases will cost you the game at this level of play.
And if you even dare chase someone for around 50 seconds you can pretty much open the gates yourself.
Meanwhile when I'm playing solo survivor:
3+ minute chase = 2 gens.
-
Quote: "just had a game me and 3 console trash players"
That's where you can tell the thread isn't even worth a read.
-
Is Blight physically even a normal human being at this point ? He seems like a monster with superhuman strength and speed whereas Legion is just... Well... Legion.

"change how the game is played entirely" = they can't tunnel to their heart's content oh no :(
You say that like tunneling was immoral.
-
I encountered this bug.
I 4%'d off the hook and got mori'd by the killer (who was next to me while my team left via the gates) instantly.
Oooh wait... Maybe that's what triggers the mori-bug. If you're the last survivor you would die immediately on your second hook so it probably triggers the mori.
-
I like how people always say "had a 5 (or sometimes even 10) minute chase" like it was the most normal thing in the world.
Usually -and I measured that over the course of the past years- a chase starts feeling "like a long chase" after around 1.5 minutes.
2 minute chases are rare.
3 minute chases are almost non-existant.
4 minute chases only against a rank 20 killer.
5 minute chase maybe if the killer is a dog... I mean an actual dog playing with its paws.

Nobody runs into OoO SWF squads more than like maybe 2% of the time.
Speak for yourself.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
@Yamaoka It's not all about that 4k though. If you get an OoO you can tunnel them into oblivion. Even if the rest get the gens done you can rest happy knowing that the ringleader will be screaming and swearing post game. More importantly PH can get hits at loops so he can't be looped forever.
Bubba is good too just because once you get them down it's gameover and once again, you're gonna get the salt post game.
@JPA and that's the thing, survivors have conditioned killers to play sweaty and tryhard.
They've taught killers that there's a punishment for losing. You're going to get tbagged and laughed at post game. There's a price to pay for losing, so you're more likely to play dirty. 2 hooks in the basement? no point giving that away easily.
They've taught killers that there's a punishment for playing low tier killers. Toxic OoO swf squads. There's a penalty for trying other killers or meme builds.
The thing is all 4 of them had Object (combined with the typical other meta stuff) and due to their altered camera they were able to see me over loops (as I said I watched their stream afterwards and they literally see killers over Jungle Gyms. That's basically cheating in my book) making it impossible to get a prediction shot through the wall making his power pretty "meh".
I know how strong it feels like against normal people. I too can down "normal" survivors in 10 seconds if they commit to a loop. Been playing Pyramid as my second main just after Bubba since his release.
But I just don't see how he's any good against "these" kinda people who are running stretched screen with increased camera heights.
I'm sure it would have been a lot closer as Bubba.
- can't bodyblock a Bubba mid chase (what they did multiple times)
- can't predrop pallets to waste my time.
- can't just take a hit and hold forward all across the map.
- can't unhook in my face (even with Borrowed Time).
- Doesn't matter if they heal up in my face (what they did) since I have an instadown anyway.
- can't Dead Hard away from my power (they Dead Harded through multiple shockwaves).
This makes me question why I even play Pyramid Head regularly. Might as well stick to my main 24/7.

that's why it's important to check profiles fast before the match, not after
I can't check them in time before a match as I'm just a (very experienced) console pleb. I looked up their names on steam community post match then realized they were a streaming bully squad. Kinda lame but it doesn't get to me "too much" after all these years.
One match later I dominated some solos (I think) and gave hatch.
-
Kinda off topic but I faced a 4 man with 4 object of obsessions yesterday as Pyramid.
All of them had stretched screen and suspicious camera placements (they were streaming and could literally see me over jungle gyms making all mindgames impossible).
Got a 1k and they macro clicked the hell out of me then left at the very same millisecond to deny me the near-by hatch (closing points).
I really don't think he is anywhere near top tier. Maybe high mid tier.
If I want to win you will see me playing Leatherface.

I think you just have horrible internet
Long time no see. Hope you're doing well.
@ topic: I wonder what Pyramid would be like if cages were to allow perk activations. Would be a major buff to survivors due to Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike etc. which is a big point of using the cages but I would take the change if the devs made it so successful POTD hits applied tormented status.
If survivors can use DS and Borrowed Time despite cages let me use the cages more often throughout a match at least.
-
Same here.
At first I got the error code: 8001 and after re-starting everything it's now giving me the "no network connection" error.
I'm on XB1, too.
EDIT: The issue is on Microsoft's end according to others.
-
I played SWF with 1 friend last week. We kept bringing Saloon because it's actually pretty fun and strong for survivors.
The saloon is stupidly strong by itself but then you also have loops (including shack) right around the saloon. The water tower loop can be chained into the seemingly weak window behind it or the rng T-L next to it as well.
Most pallets on that map are rather safe and easy to play correctly, too.
So overall I disagree: That map is crazy strong for survivors even if we ignore all the stealth options/bushes. I never feel like I'm done for when the killer finds me on that map unlike let's say Shelter Woods (with bad rng).
-
Absolutely ridiculous........ Do it again !

Is that a pimp straight out of the 90s ?
-
It is a strong addon but it's most definitely not even on the same level as insta-hatchets.
Insta-hatchets can down you all across the map (distance), ignore pallets, ignore windows, ignore elevations (i.e. when you're on a hill for Balanced Landing you're in immediate danger against insta-hatchets but not so much against infinite Tier 3 Myers) etc.
Myers still has to M1 you and has nothing in his basekit to get said M1 hit quickly when you loop optimally.
Sure you can slap on Bamboozle to increase your chance of getting the M1 hit easily but even then that requires a perk slot that could be a gen perk.

I have said the same a few days ago that if erasing a mistake by pressing "E" is the problem with Dead Hard, Bloodlust is basically erasing a mistake by pressing "W".

Agreed. Dead Hard and Bloodlust are both reward-for-failure-relics at this point. I wouldn't miss either of these two things.

I played against a streamer today who is from my country and we're both on the server that's in our country (Frankfurter server) meaning we both got a good ping.
I asked him what the hits looked like for him after the match and he said the hits were absolutely amazing from his point of view.

I thought you could, but that did not work in this case. It does not happen too often that I need to deny, I thought maybe they had changed it.
If they changed it then it's a terrible change.
I guess you really have to inch forward towards the exit line immediately while the killer gets their 3 second cooldown after hitting the teammates who are heal-protecting you on the floor.
Sounds like it was one of those moments where Tenacity would have made the difference.
-
You know you can literally deny getting healed by holding your sprint key/button while crawling , don't you?
-
If survivors play well even experienced killers will struggle even with strong perks and stronger killers than Trapper.
Watched Tru3talent for a bit today. First match he played was as Pyramid Head with boring slowdown perks / gen perks (Ruin, BBQ, Pop) as usual.
Result: 4 man escape.
Then I switched to a smaller streamer with 4000+ hours. He played Bubba with one of my personal builds and got a very cocky team that 99'd Sprint Bursts and used it mid chase after luring him away from each other. One of them pretended to be from Agony (tournament team).
Result: 3 man escape.
The game is balanced around mediocre survivors.
Therefore I think you should just try and play the game for the unique gameplay and forget about the kills.
Don't try to force it. If you get the win (due to bad survivors) great - if they're smart and experienced - better luck next time.
OR: Play Spirit/Nurse with meta builds.

Can't loop in a dead zone. But sometimes, you can loop a rock, wall or tree and 360, which will make a good killer miss bc I can be quite unpredictable. It's all about those sweet mind games.
Also since when does better mean, you must have the ability to run them all game! Don't be so dramatic.
You have a very unique definition of the term "dramatic". I'm just curious. Don't really care that much about the fidget-spinner strategy.

Wait a second. I'm not allowed to spin a player not as good as me? As if matchmaking doesn't give me crappy team mates handing you wins for free ALL the time?
Yeah, I'm okay spinning less experienced killers. Ofc, it's far more fun spinning good killers! If you're good and get spinned well, play better next time!
If you are better than the killer you verse then why the need to spin them? You could just... Uhmm.. You know... Loop them?

Is that why Scott went YEARS without getting spun? So yeah I’d say really good killers very very rarely get spun. They know how to counter it. Pretty much anything in this game has a counter people are just too lazy to learn something new. They want it as vanilla as possible......Me SwInG wEaPoN mE sHoUlD gEt HiT.
If good killers don't get spun then why do you want 360s in the game so badly ? So you can ruin the experience of inexperienced killers ?
