There’s a part 2
-
Well, at least they’re finally doing it. This will lead to many good changes. Although like usual it took them years to do so
-
@Pulsar said:
Small nitpick, but I think Legion is the worst Killer in the game right now.
Very true. Needs full rework since any buffs would either not change anything or create a return of Old Legion
-
Pentimento is like Retribution. By itself trash. It’s a support perk and needs to be paired. Only then can it be guaranteed value. Or they change it where you can curse the boon
-
Whenever I hear Clown mains talk about the antidote. They call it the best change that made him S tier. And I hear Non-Clown mains say it was trash
-
I don’t see The Thing. I’m sad
-
Kindred, Bond, and Windows are the three best perks

Basically it. Easy to injure survivors, but has nothing in return to down them.
Which is why I think pretty much any buff would break Legion. Because Legion can score a first hit so much easier then anyone else. Suddenly make downs viable and Legion will be back in their disaster state. And why a rework is the only solution
-
Rework Legion current design is total trash. All they can do is get a first hit for free for the chance of some slowdown if survivors aren’t totally oblivious. Then get looped to oblivion from their lack of chase power. A weak killer with weak skill ceiling. And little interactions on both sides. A failure in design. Rework needed.

Eh.
- Yes, it's a very difficult priority to learn. The tutorial makes it seems essential.
- I find myself doing this sometimes. Gotta go Crazy Ivan to catch people.
- To be fair, even very experienced players fall for this sometimes.
- Yeah.
I'd also add
- Misses a lot of attacks.
- Overcommits to unwinnable chases.
- Camps (it sounds weird, but it's such an obviously effective tactic, and new players might not know that it goes counter to the etiquette of the game).
- Gets 360'd a lot.
- Always vaults or breaks the pallet.
- Spends a lot of time waiting for 1 gen to regress.
There was a baby Hag chasing me through Haddonfield House of Pain.
-
The Ultimate in Alien Terror
New Killer: The Thing
New Survivors: Pilot R.J MacReady and Dr. Kate Lloyd
New Maps: U.S Outpost 31and Thule Station
-
Lopro Chains
-
Yeah, that’s old DS was and that was something else. But, you changed your mind.
-
She’s not too enjoyable to face. Looping isn’t good against her. Although double floor buildings can work. Holding W isn’t a guaranteed success against her with the birds range. But, she’s strong and gives us a new viable high rank killer.
-
No
-
Honestly they should just focus on making the game enjoyable
-
It’s playable but there are certain things you won’t be able to do that PC can. But, Oni is well designed in the sense of it rewards you for doing well but punishes you if you don’t. His power works at most loops. Besides his Iri add-ons they’re all good. He doesn’t need so many gen perks also. Information perks are godly on him highly recommend them and stealth perks if you need to score an M1
-
Which platform I’ve noticed lots of turns and flicks happen on PC. But not always with console
-
The solution is simple along with Shift W + Healing. The game tells you play mobility and instant down killers and perks. Anyone else you’re screwed
-
Full rework

Never knew that

Uhhu... Yeah it happens some ttvs can be quite toxic, but please keep in mind thats not all of us.
I know I’ve faced some wholesome TTVs. And they were great but when accusations are in play it’s something else.

You most totally did stream snipe. I saw the game myself. How else would you have known they were behind that rock. Also you were pretty laggy. You didn't deserve those hits. /s
Explain please. I can hear people crouching around. Not that hard especially with Swamp’s ground noises

@Aven_Fallen said:
Most TTVs are regular players. Dont know why it is worth mentioning if you play against people who stream for 2 viewers.
The accusations of stream sniping.
-
Which map?
-
I still dream of the gen rework that’ll allow changes to camping and tunneling. And allow changes to slowdown and second chance perks.
-
Some best: Lullaby for the Dark, Demise of the Faithful, Cursed Legacy, Descend Beyond. Strong and fair killers. Which is what usually decides a chapters success. DOTF and DB brought meta perks also. Maps hit or miss
Some worst: A Nightmare on Elm Street, Darkness Among Us, Binding of Kin, All-Kill, and Resident Evil. Horrendous or no maps, killers weak or horrendously designed, overall weak perks. All need reworks
-
In a near perfect spot. She has a unique play style compared to normal game formula. And has unique survivor interactions. But her whole run back to hook with 5 traps around it needs to go. Since it forces loose loose situations.
-
The Thing
-
The whole design about gens need to be reworked
-
They need to set maps at a smaller size and rework gens. I’d think the first is possible at least
-
if they ever do this. Something similar I pray it’ll be The Thing.
-
I watched it and he should’ve gone into Feral Frenzy more. If he does that survivors can’t wait in the locker. Otherwise deep wound downs them. And survivors can’t wait to flashlight save. Ironically Legion despite sucking could’ve dealt with this better if he used Frenzy more. Then other stronger killers. Although still a dumb mechanic and why they should change map offerings.
-
Even with current flaws it’s a great game for me. And I keep coming back knowing how it can be even better and how it can happen one day

Eh.
I'm not sure if solo queue can be 'fixed'.
My own experiences are mixed. I'll sometimes get straight up carried. I'll sometimes get people of a similar skill level to me that do okay. I'll sometimes get potatoes, trolls or people that DC the second they smell the killer.
That's just the nature of a random matchmaker.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2704195#Comment_2704195
A pattern I've observed when I play killer - the last player joins a lobby, sees 3 other survivors with default skins, dodges and the next player thrown into the mix is a 2k hour monster. I think what's happening is that the matchmaker is trying to find someone ASAP, which can result in silly combinations of skill levels. The other situation is:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2704204#Comment_2704204
At certain MMRs, survivor queue times can get absolutely nutty. Forget 10 minutes, I've had a queue that went almost double that once, offpeak. So, yes, what the system does is it finds players with an average MMR together similar to the killers. This could be 2 very good players and two complete newcomers. There isn't really much that can be done to fix this without people complaining about ridiculous queue times and it's not much more fun for the killer.
The devs recently discussed this and they at least implied that the system prioritizes wait time over match quality. If I recall, they said something like 'some players may be willing to wait a long time for an even matchup, but a lot won't'. Also remember that back under ranks, complaints over queue times led to killer matchmaking protections being completely disabled, which got very silly (and was likely a big reason why SBMM was introduced in the first place).
Again, I'd be happy to wait longer for better quality matches - but that's not what the devs seem to want. Outside of this, I don't think there's a fix for this.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2704199#Comment_2704199
Kindred, as it is, would be brokenly overpowered baseline. Being able to see where the killer is headed post hook is such powerful information that the last 'tier list' video I saw gave it a full 5 stars. On some maps, combining it with Open Handed basically gives the whole team prenerf OoO.
Making Kindred baseline would be a small buff to solos, but would be a bigger buff to SWFs. And that wouldn't work well.
That’s why I said survivor aura not killer aura
-
This system is a joke, but behavior was too lazy to implement it right. If we’re talking Solo Q improvements the best I can say is Kindred survivor aura base kit
-
I would like Indian or Arabian based

I would love it! I'd love a more varied objective like the ones suggested here...
But I have no faith in BHVR to 1) to anything that game changy and 2) to not mess it up if they did...
If you have more hope than I... I am jealous of you...

Games are too snowbally for that gen rework. And we know BHVR. Their idea of a rework would be to just change the timing on gens and not change anything else... If they made gen times take longer no survivors would play M1 simulator and they just would survive. To fix that issue they'd then nerf all killers to "balance"...
Making them longer is just a speed nerf. I’m talking about a full blown rework. Then if they can get gens in a healthy spot this way. Then that can allow for changes to camping and tunneling. Which then allows for changes to the meta of gen slowdown and second chance perks.
-
I’m still waiting patiently waiting for that gen rework to boost the game health by 3,000 percent.
-
Should loose M1 requirement, have range at 40 meters, and lower cool down to 30 seconds. Boom solid gen regression perk
-
I’ve always stuck with more killer my Solo Q teammates are the real killers
-
It’s be a the tentacle was blatantly based on PH’s POTD. And the Zombies are an Ai with no good input of a player’s skill

I don't like how every Billy player I see follows the surv rulebook.
Is this some reddit trend or something?
It is not fun if they don't capitalise when they can and throw the game basically. I love Billy but I don't want them to play "fair".
We Billys are giga chads
-
These maps need to be desperately changed. Balance wise. And graphically can be so much better.
-
I know the map design sucks but on both sides I just don’t mind it too much

I don't want a power rework. He just needs to damn good add-ons. Speed him up, decrease his cool down, and make his base frenzy longer so he has no issues making it across maps.
He was designed to chain hit. Let him. Most survivors don't heal against him anyway. So who cares if he's frenzying toward you to hit you while your injured again?
He gets points, you mend, and back on the gen you go. I know it's an annoying playstyle as a survivor to constantly mend but the points you get is absurd in the grans scheme of things.
Leigon should be a point earning machine. He already is, so imagine if he could chain better. Survivors still get gens done but the trade off is points.
That's where the devs need to focus. Let Leigon be that 1 killer that racks up points. Even if he is still kinda weak, he'll be played more for em.
A rework would be better to make their power more viable and enjoyable.
-
God I hope they’re reworked. The power isn’t close to what the trailer promised. Instead we have a lame power that’s one of the worst when survivors get decent. And only a noob stomper. It’s skill ceiling is low and lame on both sides. A rework is needed to make their power stronger and more interactive and fun on both sides.
-
They said Legion and Ghostface which makes sense they aren’t that deep of characters in terms of power can crush noobs but loose their value once survivors get a basic understanding of the game. Hopefully their powers become more unique, viable, and get their own chase music
