Chapter 23 reveal
Well, that was fast
tbh, i was kinda hoping for an original killer, like the giant spider creature from the archives, but sure, whatever
Do you think this should've been left for the 6 year chapter?
A teaser for the next chapter releasing early, they should do that more often, even if its original. They don't have to give the title, but it would help make speculations easier
Comments
Actually this gives me hopes(/fear) for the anniversary to be an even bigger license
Like what? We already have Resident Evil and Silent Hill
If it is Licensed, i hope its Candyman ^-^
Alien.
Friday the 13th.
Chucky
Xenomorph from the Aliens franchise
Predator
A cute black cat with white paws
The Thing
I love The Thing! But it would be hard to have a shapeshifting killer, SWF would ruin it like they always do :P
Yea, I know TheGannMan is less than enthused about it..
Though I'm interested to know what the more about look like.
Omg i want a cute cat!!!
Friday the 13th still has a lawsuit, so it's not possible to get a license
i thought that ended ages ago
this is the only chapter I've been excited for in a LOOOOOOOOOONG while
I've been thinking about it for a while now! It would totally work with this game if the devs wouldn't be afraid to try it.
I needs to be able to meow and purr whenever the player wants it to.
Actually the lawsuit is over.
iirc the original author got the rights.
Though the rights to the original script and anything from the following movies are split now…
WTH is she even going to do
Is it weird that I'm more excited about a new map to look at.
Probably will not feature a new map.. anniversary stream it was said 2 new maps this year and those we already have.
Well, if they keep the past two year track record up then the sixth anniversary chapter is probably going to be another video game chapter. Who/what that'll be is 100% in the air for now.... unless they reveal the anniversary chapter a few weeks after The Ringu's chapter release! xD
I was honestly thinking something similar. They've been getting bigger and bigger with their anniversary chapters every year. What's the chapter going to be that's going to outshine a licensed chapter like Ringu? I've been thinking like Alien or Predator or Pennywise, but we'll have to wait to see in about roughly 6 months.
God I want the Thing so bad
Well that's misleading having a generator over in that forest.
Maybe we won’t even have to wait that long.
Resident Evil was teased in a New Years message from the devs (or was it directly from Cote?)
I'm hoping the content will be good!
Also, will there even be a survivor? I'm not knowledgeable about this franchise, but it'll be cool to see a full chapter.
Maybe I'm just not too knowledgeable on the series(I'm really not) but I can't think of any survivor from them that really jumps up and screams "I must be added" so, I think it'll be another single killer with a survivor released shortly afterwards. That's just pure speculation though and, as I said, I don't know much about the franchise so, grain of salt and all that.
Yeah it was teased in the New Years message and then officially teased like a week after Trickster released.
The movie has Reiko Asakawa as main protagonist, a young woman. In the book as I understand it this role is ‚played‘ by a man.
from the anniversary we know we will get another survivor this year (4 killers and 5 survivors, while Jill and Leon came together); though it might also be another original survivor a la Mikaela Reid.
I'm more curious on how she'll pick up survivors, she's a kid
This is based on 'the original story' I.E. the book, so Sadako should be at least nineteen actually.
