When are they coming to the store? Cuz it's been over six months, almost a year, since the first Rift (if you count start date, not end date). So can we get a date please?
Will Rift cosmetics ever go on sale like all other cosmetics have the chance to?
Will we ever be able to buy charms? (Not even just the Rift charms, but just like, in general)
I think was six months after the Rift closes

I mean rage quitting is looked down upon in every game I don't think there is a game out there where rage quitting isn't looked the down upon.
But if you want Dead by daylight specifically as a survivor it typically screws over your teammate if you disconnect.
Having someone died early is a massive advantage to the killer same thing if somebody disconnects early.
I can't tell you how many games I've been in as a solo survivor where we've had someone disconnect really early and we've all died with just one gen left that was pretty close anyway. ( it really punches you in the gut with the whole if this person didn't immediately disconnect the second I got downed we could have been won)
As for disconnecting as a killer you usually just end the game quickly which could potentially mean that the survivors lose bloodpoints they could have learnt or emblem scores which doesn't really matter anymore

It’s a bug. Not sure how they did it again though when I thought it got patched.
It got patched about if you had it done already you still keep it.
But even though you gotta love how how this that has no effect on the game got patched that quickly but the flashlight aiming problems, Plauge aiming, basement hook teleportation and silent dying survivors still exist

I can finish the entire battle pass of apex legends when I do the entire season NOTHING but start playing 1 week before it ends. Try that with dbd. Oh Wait, you telling me I have to play EVERYDAY multiple hours (not even considering lobby times) and I don't even get that great stuff compared to the battle pass of apex? Oh damn.
The Grind can be a problem sometimes saying I did this in one game so it should work in this game is a very stupid argument.
Honestly there's a lot of problem Rift has personally coming from a grind heavy gaming background Dead by daylight Rift is really nothing to me me when it comes to grind and I do have a problem with the contents of the Rift though

I really hope it was a bug and not intentional because even the banner art for the cosmetics show it's meant to be brightly glowing blue

I never once said it was strong.
Not disagree with your other points I think you're up points are pretty valid.
Just at the body blocking aspect of it tends to only work if the surviving question is it really using their brain.
Most legions will get as close as possible to the survivor before cancelling out their power to body block you usually have to try to get a head of the survivors.
Most good survivors will notice you trying to get ahead of them and simply divert their direction because feral frenzy is timer based you usually don't have the luxury of readjusting if you make the body block commitment.
Now with the heavy punishment of a 4 seconds stun it gives the survivor more enough time to divert themselves into a safer position.
Using cooldown add-ons to lower the fatigue can you help with body blocking but it still doesn't make it all that great against people who can notice what you're doing

Go check out Dowsey you will see why a lot of players like t3 better to send you to a guide then try and explain a bunch of numbers myself
Based off the video the usefulness of each of the tiers being contested come from different areas.
Otz and the people who support his idea typically like the Perk more as it helps with a better pin down of where survivors are.
Essentially it helps you track the location better and tell if the survivor has moved away from that gen or if they stick around. Long and short of it excels at finding survivors.
Dowsey and the people who agree with him typically enjoy it more for its synergy and how you can use it to calculate the generator itself.
It helps you plan if it's more appropriate to choose Pop Goes the Weasel on a generator and how to control that generator specifically or if the generator is just not worth going to because of certain amount of notifications have happened.
They both are good for their own reasons and both excel at two different aspects T1 is great for survivor tracking and T3 is great for generator management.
Honestly whichever one you prefer tends to be the right choice I don't think even one is objectively better than the other. Yeah pretty much falls down to the player and what they specifically want to use it for

"He uses his power when he's close to a survivor and there's nothing that can stop him from getting the first hit."
I disagree. Also, you already made a mistake if he got that close in the first place.
"It's like the Devs saying that clown still has untapped potential."
Except this was him implying Clown was good and didn't need changes, which is not what I'm saying or implying.
"The difficult part about him is getting the down..as an M1 killer."
Yes, that is the difficult part, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have other skill ceiling besides just knowing how to play an M1 killer.
There's a skill level for knowing when to use his FF for spread pressure or breaking for the m1. There's also body blocking with the fatigue, faking the FF spread pressure for a return, using the FF speed to redirect the survivor into bad pathing, determining when to force Mends to prevent saves and force the healthy survivor off a gen. There's a lot more to him than you're seeing.
As I said before, I'm not saying he's strong or even good. I think he's one of the weakest killers in the game and needs quite a few changes to fix him. I'm just saying there's more skill ceiling on him than you're giving him credit for.
Body blocking with frenzy and fatigue is not as strong as you think it is.
It relies on the survivors themselves messing up

Did you not read mine? Honestly, I'm genuinely asking. I already pointed out the massive flaw with that argument, I'm not doing so again.
I bring it up because it's a very contentious perk.
As previously stated there are some people who prefer T3 and some people who prefer T1
Short of completely reworking the Perk which would be a shame because it's actually a decent perk my suggestion is probably the best middle ground.
But honestly I do hope this perk has taught them that they have to be careful not to create such divisive tiers loadout when it comes to perks.

What about the people that don't have it at tier 1? Even It's, the postorchild for T1 discordance, was forced to purchase T2 and T3 on a lot of killers. Changing it after the fact isn't exactly fair.
Did you read my post I literally said I'm fine with it staying how it is
As long as they give people who want to keep tier-1 and option just to lock it like that so it doesn't keep polluting the bloodweb. This wouldn't affect anybody else except people who wanted to stay tier 1
-
Honestly I'm fine with it staying the way it is as long as people who have T1 have a way of stopping it's showing up in the blood web.

Huntress because she needs to still be adjusted to the add on formula.
They're probably going to tackle iridescent head add on but it's very controversial just like insta saw was.
Myers still doesn't follow the formula so he might also be next.
Both Amanda and Legion have massively useless add-ons and need slight tweaks to their base kit so they are also potential candidates for the next one.
Demo will probably follow afterwards it keeps in line with the formula and the only real problem is that most of them are useless.
Conclusion
Huntresses almost all but guaranteed at this stage.
Myers is probably the second most likely. However considering he is the closest to the formula in comparison to The Killers who don't fit it he might not be priority. ( if you don't know what the exact formula is Myers would look like he has it)
Amanda and Legion. They fit the formula but a lot of their add-ons are useless or outright detrimental and they're in dire need of Twix to their base kit. So they you're most likely going to be taken care of after the huntress is mid chapter patch.
Demo is honestly probably that least likely to gain an add-on pass not that it doesn't need it just said it's not likely going to happen for a while. It fits the formula and it's basically it is pretty fine not really needing any massive tweaks or changes

I think it's just because keys much like flashlights and medkits outside of Special Edition event ones all just have the same model.
Every medkit not counting the Halloween and the 4th year all share the same model
Every flashlight not counting the fourth year all share the same model.
Same thing with toolboxes
So it's not surprising that keys follow the same suit

The hits in this game are widely, seemingly. unfair. I vault a window at any given time and despite clearing the window, with the camera pointing backwards and visually see that I cleared the window, plus the length of the weapon and still see what appears to be a clear miss. Is instead recognized as a "hit".
Same is occurring on pallets. I clear the pallet and drop it. Despite dropping the pallet, the killer has still struck my character.
- Average latency to server: 63ms
- Connection type: Wired Cat 6e
- GPU: RTX 2060 on Desktop.
- 16GB of RAM
Even auto aim would not be responsible for that. That's an issue with your screen and a killer screen not exactly being aligned.
There have been multiple videos showing this happened it looks like it's a perfect connected hit On The Killers end but on the survivors end they were a distance away that's not auto aim

A TL;DR would be nice
Thanks for the suggestion amended the post accordingly.
But just in case you don't look back for it here's the tl:dr
Tl;dr- The cosmetic elements being outright altered from the trailer in comparison to in game is a very bad business practice and I'm hoping it wasn't intentional false advertising. However hiding elements of the Minotaur that basically proved it didn't hit the standards of what you marketed for legendary cosmetics doesn't have an excuse

You really didn't read my post if you think I was talking about graphical superiority.

So my assumption is that you probably just read the title without even looking at what the post says

Like someone said that really wouldn't diversified builds.
The rarity rarely ever translate to quality. Monstrous shrine for example is a very rare and it is very much in the top 5 worst killer perks. On the other hand enduring is a rare perk is still considered one of the best perks in the game.
Then you'll get into the whole discussion of specific perks on specific Killers for example stridor is a rare that is pretty meh on every killer but it is disgusting on spirit.
When it comes to uncommon perks you will almost never see people running that especially if they put points into characters in fact the only perk you're most likely going to see uncommon is discordance because a lot of people considered tier one to be the best version

As I said before I personally extremely prefer the silver gold bracelets to the trailers bronze brass ones but I can completely understand and someone who was really excited for the bronze brass looking ones.
While I don't care too much about Jane because I don't play her however like with the bracelets change I can understand why people would be excited for her blonde hair only to be slapped in the face when it actually got released.
I would compare it to fast food ads but even then it doesn't really hit that comparison. It would be like someone watching an advert for a beef burger only to to have the beef replaced with fish or chicken

Honestly they should really do it in just see how it works and if they would be happy with it implication.
If they are happy with the implication for example increases the amount of sales at the sets. They could use that information to renegotiate licensed sets. I know there's a lot of people who are disappointed they can't mix and match with pyramid head or Cheryl.

JeffJesus was a great addition. The only reason it's not in top position is because initial launch Legion I love them to pieces they are literally my other main but they god they were bad. All could have been forgiven and this chapter would have been one tier up if it wasn't for Ormond.Dont see any reason this Chapter beeing that high up. Legion 1.0 is infamous for beeing one of the biggest fails in DbD History, Ormond is often considered to be one of the most survivor sided / unballanced maps and Jeff ... well... the least played character overall. The only really good thing from this chapter is Discordance. D Tier for me.
Read the post above

No one escapes death is a very awkward perk.
Coming from someone who runs a lot of endgame builds (which typically requires you to let endgame happen) so I will talk about it in a purely endgame standpoint. It's a perk that usually won't net you more than one kill if you're up against smart people.
Most smart survivors will either just leave once they realise you have it or go immersed looking for it until it gets destroyed.
As for perk yes it could completely snowball in the right circumstances but it looks also do very minimal to outright nothing.
Honestly when it comes to the Perk I would suggest a couple of things.
1,) Allow totem counters on survivor related perks like small games or detective's.
2) change no one escapes death so it's not at endgame park but conditional this way you would have to achieve a certain conditions for it to spawn making it more reliable on The Killers end and would feel more fair on the survivors end as the killer earned it.
3) keep it as an endgame perk but change the buffs it gives you they would still have to be powerful considering it's a hex that is not active for most of the game but you could pick something different from exposed. For example something similar to a fully stacked save the best

So much for linked sets xd
Honestly the clipping issues just kind of go out the window at this stage.
I've suggested in a different thread just keeping link cosmetics but allowing someone to have the option to toggle off and on them linked aspects if they so choose so they would have to deal with the clipping issues if they really wanted to mix and match that badly.
But I guess it a pointless idea when even people who got the actual link set are having to deal with the clipping issues.
Don't get me wrong I feel like linked said fix a lot of the awkward segmented cosmetic issues but if they're still having the clipping issues like this what's the point just let people mix and match

How is darkness amongst us S tier? I mean, I loved legion on release and they quickly became my main, but even I can admit it was a shitfest

- Ormond completely unplayable on release
- Legion being absolutely broken
I love Legion the idea of a gang of teenagers with a cult-like allegiance to Frank was awesome especially when you realise the teenagers well all different demographics meaning anybody could be twisted if the great influence came along.
As for Legion's gameplay I've always liked it and found it incredibly fun. Granted I was one of those legions who spread the pain and rarely ever just barreled down a survivor. So the only real experiences with were broken they were was when I was playing Survivor and even then I really ran into a barrel down Legion. (screw anybody who did the moonwalk exploit but that was on people being scummy rather anything else)
Ormond resort- honestly I think the map looks absolutely beautiful I love snow maps and I love any map that's illuminated by moonlight. Hell it's why the boreal Valley is one of my favourite Dark Souls area. I personally think it's beautiful I love the idea of an abandoned ski lodge completely hate the gameplay though.
Jeff honestly I just love him for the Jesus and God memes
Most of my rating on the darkness Among Us was purely on theme and design rather than actual gameplay.

Isn't it flat out said in the remake which is the Freddy we have, that he did assault the kids? Also look at my response to the other persons reply.
My point wasn't about Jennifer's age more about the subject matter of her repressed memories and how they are handled because keep in mind though we play as adult Jennifer when reliving her repressed warped memories. It's actually young Jennifer that experiences them.
We're supposed to be younger and smaller than Diana and the rest of them.
Well I have no doubt they could end up doing it. Jennifer being the survivor and probably Gregory being the Killer however they would have to be very careful about how they translate the elements of the game into to perk quotes, backstory and add-ons
As for remake Freddy yes it's very much outright stated what he does to the kids.

Ummmm... Freddy (cough)
If we talking about Freddy.
Original Freddy it's very very loosely implied with the child murder becoming the central theme even though confirmed to be the creator's intention to have him be pedo but it was too much of a hot-button topic back then.
Theym remake or our Freddy is much more apparent about it.
Now the problem with rule of rose is that you essentially going through the repressed memories of a woman thinking back to her time in an orphanage.
A lot of the scenes that depict the child murderer or abuse are either heavily censored by Jennifer herself or seen through the eyes of a rationalizing child.
"A good example would be during a boss fight there are bunch of children's clothes scattered around it and Jennifer will comment about how much her head hurts if you try to interact with one"
Due to the trauma and mental scarring that event caused she's legitimately repressed the dead children in that fight to the point where causes her discomfort and pain.
Honestly I could go into a full in-depth essay about each and every instance of repression and child interpretation of traumatic events Jennifer experienced or witnessed.
But I've already detoured enough. Well Nightmare on Elm Street is more focused on its supernatural psychopath hunting people in their dreams. Rule of rose is far more embedded and interwoven into the abuse and trauma of children.
It is quite possible that they could do rule of rose how they handle it would have to be delicate to say the least.
Sorry for the essay by the way

Err and Plague.
You know, the killer the perk is originally intended.
The last thing any survivor wants against a Plague while they’re either broken, she has Corrupt, or both, is her also using Infectious Fright.
Fair to be honest I'm very rarely play Plague in fact I even just got the perk by just putting levels into her without playing how much outside of the achievements so I tend to forget she exists which is ironic considering she's the killer I hate going up against the most

@Mooks said:
It wouldn’t affect only the one that actively decides to unlink their cosmetic set but everyone that plays a match with that person.
also with some outfits it wouldn’t only be clipping issues but I think the top of Neas outfit ends way higher and other bottom cosmetic pieces wouldn’t even reach up there so how would you bridge the gap?
it wouldn’t make sense for every single piece.
I doubt it would affect the other people in the match with them that much. Considering there are things like Ugly Jake where people act if we try to get the worst combinations of cosmetics possible I don't think it's going to completely destroy someone's the game to have a bad looking Nea running around.
Honestly if a killer or a fellow survivor are paying more attention to your clipping cosmetics than they are to the actual game then I honestly don't know what to tell you.
As for the top ending high up we already have things like crop tops and that in the game so not connecting is not exactly going to destroy things. But in relative terms as they sent before if it looks absolutely awful that's on the person who decides to mix and match it that way
-
@sulaiman said:
Only as soon as the option exists, people will still complain about clipping or overlapping anyway and will demand it to be fixed. We have seen that time and again, and i don´t see why it should be different this time.
At that stage the devs have the full right to say.
"Git rekt"
"It's supposed to be a linked outfit meant to all be together. While we did give you the option if you make the choice unlink it and combined it with other things that is your problem if you have overlapping and clipping issues"
" If the clipping issues are that much much of a problem just toggle the cosmetic back to linked"
When it comes down to it in my opinion If you want the freedom to mix and match things that are meant to be in a set that is fine you should have the option but you shouldn't feel entitled to complain when you use something outside of its intended purpose and it doesn't work how you want it to.
-
@Mooks said:
Still not possible for every piece, especially looking at that Nea skin, only the headpiece would make sense seperated. And then there is the issue that probably no other head would even fit with the rest..
it would only make sense for some things, like killer weapons or Janes head from the Greek Legends set.
That's the point brought up if you choose to unlink it and mix and match and it doesn't look good or it has major clicking issues that your own prerogative you chose to actively unlink it.
Considering all linked sets have that icon you could do something like make the icon interactable so you can toggle whether it's linked or not.
If you choose to unlink you have to deal with the clipping issues for your mix and match and if you don't like the clipping issues you could just link the cosmetic back again.

Honestly wouldn't even have to remove or reduce the amount of charms lots the amount of unused space in the free track could definitely be used for iridescent shards

The charms may be completely locked exclusively to the Rift but the cosmetics are meant to come 6 months after that specific Rift closing.
Whether they decided to go back on this I have no idea that until we see any of them hit the store I can't say

Oh did it? Well I'll be. I could have sworn those things have been clogging my bloodweb forever but I'm not going to pretend I know everything lol.
Ever since the clowns mid chapter patches when they've been looking over Killers they've included BP add-ons which hinder the power in return for blood points.
Billy was the original Bubba too.
Trapper- has the previously mentioned padded Jaws
Wraith- has beast I think it is which doesn't remove his terror radius when he is cloaked.
Nurse- has like 4 for some reason
Freddy- has one that reduces the slowdown survivors receive when stepping on your traps.
I can't remember if there's any more off the top of my head
