You must be very idealistic or naive if you think a killer is going to sit down and just camp your item for 90 seconds.
Even if your item gets knocked out during an early stage of the game that is enough time to complete a gen there are 4 survivors that is 4 generators completed with 10 seconds or so left to spare and that's considering they don't get great skill checks or have any speed modifiers.
If a killer actually decides to camp your item they are basically throwing you the game. They might as well just open an exit gate

Any idea on the cosmetics for them?
Adam- Jamaican or Japanese style outfit. Highlight his new environment or roots.
Min- Honestly a gothic Outfit for Min would be amazing something like this
As for the killer..... even as a killer main I have no clue

I would have agreed with you before the charge change now losing all your charges does it mean you lose the item that's not the case.
Everything is a game of time before when you knocked an item out somebody's hands there was no real incentive to immediately go and pick it up. Especially if it dropped it and notable landmark. This coupled with the fact then completely depleting the charges wouldn't do anything meant that it wasn't a threat.
With the new Franklin's it allows you to knockout items from the hand but also adds a pressure system if that's an item you really care about so if I was are going to have to waste time to go look for it instead of doing gin so it doesn't disappear. Even if they're on comms and they tell someone else to get it that's still someone getting off a generator because they're under time pressure.
All in all I think the Franklin's change for like a good adjustments to the new way that items work.

I'm seeing quite a few names recurring which is interesting. So far Jeff and Nurse are the most popular.
Now how about a general theme?
The previous archives are the following:
Awakening: Trapper & Claudette
Reckoning: Spirit, Jane, David & Doctor
Escalation: Legion (Julie), Huntress, Kate & Dwight
Conviction: Meg, Ace, Hag & Wraith
Which characters could we put together to form 1 general theme and what theme would that be?
Control- Min, Adam, Hillbilly and Deathslinger.
Possible description- As people we all fight with the idea of control. To control our lives we go through many trials and tribulations, we cut away from things railroad our lives. Those who try to keep us trapped in our fates, people who want to control the path we go down as well as those who who stands between us and retribution.
But as many find out it's when you have the most control over our lives that we begin to lose ourselves in our own desires whether it be our ambition or our own vengeance. What fail to realise is that control is a double-edged sword. When we have complete control we also allow control to the corrupting urges that lie within.
Min- One Fading Dream
Deathslinger- Served Cold
Hillbilly- Taste of Light
Adam - A New Life

Buff for average killers, nerf to one-shot killers.
I really wouldn't call it a buff for average Killers.
In the grand scheme of things that changes implemented was so minor that it you didn't really do anything.
You crawl 50% slower well if the person's being slugged they're just going to spend those 15 seconds recovering anyway by the time they're finished the slow movement speed is going to be gone.
The blindness is pretty pointless. Solo survivors can't relate information anyway and survive with friends will just give landmarks to help locate each other. Also like with the slow down both solo survivors and survive with friends are just going to recover until the status conditions of gone.
The change did next to nothing to really improve on the original in the grand scheme of things and the net nerf wasn't worth any of The "buffs"we got

It’s for things like dresses which is what Jane is wearing I mean look at Fengs dress skin it looks pretty bad because they made it two pieces
That is the one problem I have with that outfit I love each piece of it as they are great with Mix and matching with almost anything but the top and skirt just look really awkward together. The head is not awkwardly connected so it's fine no need to bring it up really
The top looks great with her shorts or her trousers.
The skirt looks great with almost all her other cosmetics.
It's just together because they're separated it looks really awkward not terrible to the point where I can never run the full outfit it just bugs me when I do

And the cosmetic's name in the trailer is "God of the Wilds" yet the cosmetic they released in game is called "Lord of the Underworld" . What's up with that?
The skin was meant to be based off Hades and Hades is definitely not the God on the Wilds it might have just been a mess up including the original name for the skin kind of like how the Silent Hill spotlight still states that forced penance gives you the oblivious status instead of broken

Thanks for the no bait comment lol. Those always suck because you dont put any input, but I agree with "killer easier or harder than survivor?" I dont really know, I have plenty of hard and easy games as survivor. I know that as a killer its 1v4 , if you make a mistake it's all on you. As a survivor you have 3 other people to make mistakes and if you dont make any mistakes it's almost a easy 2 pip escape. But I probably play 70-30 survivor main. Just those games I play as killer always seem like a breeze as to when I play survivor.
Personally I hate solo survivor usually because it's a coin toss between whether your team is competent or a bunch of potatoes and for some reason you never getting in between it's always one or the other.
Hell during one of my streams I managed to die on first Hook because one of my team into an afk.
Another decided they wanted to take a tour of the map before saving me.
Lastly despite the fact that even the Killer (Wraith) tried really hard to get the third one to get me off hook even bringing her to me the Meg disagreed.
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/695961055 -
I'm not going to give you the annoying bait comments because that doesn't help anything.
Typically the problem of killer in comparison to Survivor mistakes tend to be a lot more punishing if you mess up as a survivor even if you're not working in a swf you still essentially have 3 people to cover your butt.
As for killer mistakes can very easily cost you the game especially as you have nothing else to really back you up without using endgame perks (but then again you do run into people who shake their entitlement stick about the perks you use this is not just a survivors but it also goes other Killers players as well)
For example playing a loop to safe as a result could not getting a head can possibly extend a chase for 15 to 30 more seconds depending on the score of the survivor. In that time a generator or two gen pop.
All in all is killer difficult or extremely hard. Not really. Can it be really frustrating and annoying yes. Is it easier than survivor well honestly that's always just going to be down to you a subjective opinion is always a subjective opinion
-
Survivors
Feng Min - I'd really like to see some backstory between her relationship with her parents there's a lot that can be done with it. Especially when you can say that the conflict between them was bad enough that she completely alienated them with the exception of holidays and they saw her as the black sheep of the family even though she was the only child. Also considering they were figures that played a part in her anxiety of letting people down along with her fans despite whatever prior conflict they had is interesting. Lastly as for the cosmetic we'll get you have a lot more options without just having it be LOL Min gets gaming themed outfit.
Adam- in terms of outside story very little we actually know about him all we really know about him he is dead he moved to Japan for a job, learnt very basic Japanese then got into a train wreck. As for his story I could definitely see them doing a story about him adjusting to life in Japan getting used to the different culture and the problems that could cause. Gives a good chance to even give him a Japanese themed cosmetic or a cosmetic more linked to his roots
Killers.
Hillbilly- honestly I want to see you more expanded story of him first breaking out of his confined prison. Finding out how he broke out what he did after killing his family would be something very interesting especially when you consider we find out that he killed one of the intruders to his farm by the decapitating them with a shovel.
Deathslinger- I know he's one of the newer killers but I think it would be really fun to have a lore entry about him going off for one of his bounties. Or telling the story of how he managed to injure his leg in what fight was the cause of that.
Bonus
Legion- Joey- honestly he's my favourite member of the legion and we getting very little love from him in the cosmetic department and in the story department outside of him being impulsive and eager to impress and him also being bad with keeping a job we know next to absolutely nothing about him. Considering we recently got Julie's I doubt we'll see anything from him until most of the other Killers are done however I have a lot of problems with Julie's story and how I feel like it might reflect on the other Legion members story if they decide to do archives about them but that's a discussion for another thread.

They just nerfed keys with the Franklin's buff. So they best be doing something with moris real soon!
The first response to this thread had some good ideas, but here a few I've had over the years:
- Make moris only work if you are on death hook
- Make moris only work if another survivor was hooked between your first and second hooks (this prevents tunneling)
- Release a counter to the mori (a perk, an item or something)
If and only if they have changed moris, they can then address keys:
- Escape keys can't be found in chests OR they can only be found in chests when 1 survivor remains
- Escape keys only allow the key holder to escape
- Alongside any changes, the dull key needs to have a different model than the escape keys OR be changed into an entirely different item such as a pocket watch or something.
I'm sorry but the idea of you have to bring in x perk to counter it shouldn't really be a thing.
You can't say they counted it with Franklin's and then suggest Bassline counters for mori.
Franklin's demise should be an extra punishment for items in general it shouldn't be seen as the sole way balance keys.

To clear one thing up, the found survivors points shown on the emblem screen there does not mean how many survivors you've found. The number on the emblem screen a percentage of the total points required for an iridescent emblem. In this case, finding survivors gives you 5 chaser points, and you found survivors ten times that match, leaving you with 2% (50 of the total 2,550 chaser points required).
Outside of that, chaser is awarded for having lots of successful and fast chases, where a chase ends when you either lose the survivor or land a hit. The shorter your chase, the more chaser points you bank. Chaser does not award bonus points for downing a survivor, so using things that allow you to down a survivor from healthy effectively halves the number of chases you'll be scoring points on.
You didn't lose any points for camping, so you're already doing great there. If you're looking to get your adept, you might want to slug a little bit rather than hooking right away. That'll give you more opportunities to chase survivors before they die.
But in that case isn't it punishing Killers for being effective and using their powers properly.
The adept achievement is meant to be a showing that your competent with the Killer but with a system like this you're essentially forced to artificially extend the game and restrict yourself for you to get it.
It's not really rewarding your skill in that case in fact it's quite the opposite you're getting punished for your skill because you didn't hit the required amount of checklists items.

Ambush attack has counterplay but it is impossible to outrun or 360. She can use STBFL extremely easy. PGTW and Reverse traps worse than Forever Freddy. At least there are some counterplays but traps are ttotally RNG. She has 2 purple addons that reduce trap timer and longer box search. %60 of time its gg. No I didn’t. Lol you’re twisting things a d lying now to push your narrative.
I’m definitely not the only person that thought Billy needed to be nerfed. Many players have said that over the years. The developers themselves said hes overperforming compared to other killers. Only reason hes untouched is because the company has no backbone when it comes to crybabies on their forums.
Legion is awful. Pretty much everyone agrees hes awful. Killer mains like yourself take it as some kind of request for a nerf, because your bias makes you get ultra defensive. No a total rework is different. Freddy is the only killer who had a total rework as his power and playstyle completely changed. Thats what Legion needs. Killers dont like him because hes weak, survivors dont like him because he’s extremely boring. Put your bias aside and look at the possibilities of him being changed into something everyone finds more fun.
Dude I find it super ironic that you complain about people twisting your words when anytime you got into an argument with someone who said base kit Billy was fine you typically resorted to strawmanning them by saying all they wanted was their super easy insta saw or engravings.
Also no backbone you do realise and large group of the survivors were also complaining that that nerf wasn't necessary. The only time you would see good survivors complaining about hillbilly was with insta saw that was usually it outside of that the large majority of the community killer and Survivor considered base hillbilly perfectly fine. Sorry to be this person but you and the other people championing that nerf as a good thing were in the vast minority of the community.

I never described it as if it was op if you honestly think someone pointing out the good in something means they're trying to claim it as op.
Then honestly I don't know what to say to you.
As for your other points yes I have used a pug I quite enjoy it I find it quite useful. Is it the best park in the universe no. Is it the raging dumpster fire that everyone seems claim that it is no.

Dude BBQ and chili has so many counters is not even funny.
Even before Locker immunity and distortion was a thing there was multiple counters in fact one of the counters consisted of getting into a Locker so the killer could see it and then leaving it forcing a killer to foolishly check that Locker.
Hell it has so much counters and it's so wildly unreliable sometimes most Killers don't even run it for the aura reading anymore they just use it because bloodpoints.
Just leave the perk alone

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1485947#Comment_1485947
because being first to die due to having half the health isnt worth anything to most people. also OoO fills the bait role better
The point is you remove a lot of pressure that the killer can apply just by existing.
When a killer slugs a survivor it's because that survivor won't be able to do anything and it forces another survivor to get off whenever objective they're doing to go and help that person.
This also leave the killer with the ability to go and chase another person.
Now with this in mind the killer has taken three people off objective duty leaving only one person actually doing something towards escape.
Now with no mither the killer does not have this luxury.
If a killer chooses to slug somebody with no mither they're not going to be stuck unable to do anything because they can always get themselves back up. Especially when you consider they don't need to heal they'll immediately start working for the objectives after recovering.
Nobody is going to get off an objective to save somebody with no mither because the person could get themselves back up without help anyway.
So now if the killer chooses to slug somebody with no mither instead of effectively taking three people off generators and slowing the game down the most they could possibly do is take one person of a generator. That's the person who decides to chase after slugging the no mither.
Can you see the overwhelming amount of pressure difference that has caused and you didn't have to do anything besides just have no mither.
Now that's not even counting the fact that no mither can have a lot of synergy between injured builds and Sabotage builds.
The injured build allows you to benefit from things like resilience dead hard or this isn't happening and retain the Stealth bonuses of reduced runs and lack of blood stains. Once again when running this your main strength isn't jto get up off the ground. It's to take advantage of the injured state that no mither puts you in.
Sabo no mither builds allows you to waste a significant portion of The Killers time it effectively allows you to put the killer in a situation where they have difficulty bringing you to a hook and leaving you slugged will just result in you getting up again. Like with the build I mentioned above the strength of this is not to continuously get up off the ground it's the force the killer in a lose-lose situation which the only result is time wasted and time is a tool they can't afford to waste.
Delicious has already mentioned how the perk can be effective even without those builds.
The problem is a lot of people see infinite recovery and feel like they must continuously get off the ground for it to be worthwhile. Which is why the perk is so underrated

so to bait and prevent slugging?
Pretty much I don't know where everyone got this opinion that you had to constantly keep picking yourself back up with no mither for it to be worth anything.

Why link everything together?
Half the fun with cosmetics is mixing and matching... Why not simply unlink, and make it, so if you have any part of the "Legendary" cosmetic attached to your character, head, body, or weapon, you have the animation change?
I don't think that linked sets should be a thing. If it's not a legendary basically if it doesn't change the models and the animation it shouldn't be linked together
I'm fine with legendaries because of the model and animation change simply because I feel like it would make your character look incredibly stupid to have different body parts with different proportions that don't match each other

Cypress Mori is fine as it is. In all honesty it could be added to the base kit without it being overpowered. Honestly there really is no need to touch it nerf wise
Ivory can be a bit of annoying if they get a rework in general I wouldn't object to it being touched. I'd see if anything you'd have to hook every survivor once before you could use it on someone. Still keep it to a one person use but at least you wouldn't be able to immediately tunnel Mori off the hook anymore
Ebony mori is the one where alot of the problems actually started to arise they definitely need to to rework it so it only applies on death hook or something

To limit their ability to be applied far more easily than intended and to limit ambiguity in some cases.
For example, if Dark Devotion didn't have a basic attack requirement then there would be ambiguity with cases such as: The Obsession hitting a trap, Grabs, Being broken by vile purge, being downed by deep wounds, disarming a trapper trap with the bloody coil addon, the obsession using the For The People perk ect.
Additionally, things such as Plagues vile/corrupt purge, Legions Frenzy, Huntress hatchets ect all have a much easier time hitting Survivors, which causes balance issues with perks like 3rd seal, remember me, sloppy butcher (well not for plague) and most importantly the exposed status effect.
And then some perks are basic attack perks because they are directly interacting with the properties of the basic attack itself. In this case that means Unrelenting, Mad grit and STBFL.
The only perks I can think of that don't have ANY of these issues are Surge and Knockout. Both of which have minor effects and trigger on a down, which is unambiguous.
Yes I know ambiguity has other possible solutions, such as Forced Penance using protection hit requirements instead of basic attack requirements. But they had to do SOMETHING and a basic attack requirement is one such solution.
Dark devotion never really worked like that even when a lot of Killers had the ability to trigger it with their abilities.
For example the frenzy hit from legion would trigger it not the downing from Deep wounds.
So I have no idea where the point you're trying to make came from.
In fact in the case of frenzy which used to be able to trigger all perk effects it was not massively overpowered you were able to activate third seal efficiently. You could have applied remember me without hardcore tunneling.
Also exposed never worked with powers to begin with you couldn't down somebody who was exposed in one shot with huntress hatchets only with iridescent head.
You couldn't do that with frenzy you couldn't do that with any power in fact the only power that actually allows you to do that was chainsaws. Chainsaws would actually trigger exposed but the only way you would end up knowing that is if you are using something like speed limiter

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those killers had boosted MMR's simply because of NoED and Moris. They end up killing entire red ranked groups, this skyrockets their MMR so the system puts them with red ranks more often.
While it also sucks for them, they likely barely lost any MMR when going against you if they were low. In other games with MMR that kind of stuff happens where you sometimes go against someone a lot better then you and when you inevitably lose your MMR barely goes down. People who constantly use Mori's and NoED for easy 4k's are the ones who are probably going to be hurt by this system the most as they'll end up facing the really high level groups where that kind of stuff won't work as well.
Doesn't take long for someone to go off a massive rant about no one escapes death

Surprisingly despite giving her every single survivor perk in the game. I haven't prestiged her yet. I'm currently going through the process now. how can you say this with purple elephant clown, or robbie the rabbit legion?
The whole concept of the Clowns backstory was him using that appearance to fool people into coming close to him so he can attack them and capture them.
His clown outfit his Santa Claus outfit and now his mascot outfit or all things then people will assume are safe and will often be lulled into a false sense of security allow him to get his less aware targets which is what he enjoys.
As for the Robbie the rabbit mascot the connotations was always with Silent Hill veramente previous creepy mascots implied to have the corpses of random people in it.
It makes sense for it to go to Legion being a group of Killers showing off the fact that anybody could be twisted into being murderers.

Honestly in a horror film I see her being the really b*tchy character who eventually ends up with friend in the protagonist and they survive together
(Laurie, Cheryl) cool solo survivors who basically managed to get through their ordeals alive will definitely help out in the final survival
Ash- smart dude knows what's up would probably avoid going into unnecessary danger
Jake- willing to help but also knows when it's time not to risk yourself he does manage to stop Claudette from foolishly going after the Meg in the opening cutscene
Dwight- follows the useful to my survival strategy will keep people around as long as they are useful to his safety. The middle ground that is less risky than both lone wolf and full altruism.
Yui- smart enough and strong enough to handle herself but also can rally the people around her to go even stronger than they normally go.
Nea- similar to Jake but I feel like she leans more towards Min's style than Jake's she'll be there to help but if she realises the situation is a waste of time she'll switch the sneaking off Lone Wolf Style
Dead
Self-sacrifice I'm going to put a bunch of names here because I see them all probably doing this in the hopes of saving people and personality wise there's quite a bit who will do this.
David
Tapp
Steve
Jane
Bill
Jeff
Yeah lot of names.
Zarnia- I think she can handle herself but I feel like she would probably be the type of person to try to learn more or be reckless was trying to do something and that might get her killed.
Meg- it's all well and good to run but running without a strategy or plan is most likely going to get you killed.
Ace- not gonna lie in horror movies he will definitely hit the stereotype of luck runs out .
Nancy- I just hate Nancy can't stand her character on the show and most people who play Nancy tend to be toxic.
Unknown-
Quentin- honestly he's kind of a hit and miss for me I either see him being in the self-sacrifice category or surviving not really any in between
