Another, again a match with Myers, on The Game Map. My friends and I were doing a gen on the ground floor. After finishing it, all 3 up the stairs and I stay downstairs to find gens; I turn the corner and walk smack dab in Myers chest! I screamed so loud that you could've probably placed it in a horror movie and my grandmother came to check if I was okay.
It was so funny because it was the classic girl walking into killer scene from movies.
I'm constantly walking right into Myers. I usually laugh and say "oh, hi!" aloud and try to not get downed.

It always happens to me where it’s been a long match and I’ve been pretty good at evading him, and then he catches me out of nowhere and just stabs of ######### on me. I don’t feel like that’s very balanced.

Skilled killers, not being tunneled, having team mates that aren’t potatoes, having a fun, silly match once in a while (like a match where we play ‘tag’ booping the pig’s snoot).

Oh, here we go: the tombstones are way to OP. No killer should be able to instantly kill you the first time they grab you without you even being hooked once.

I wouldn’t. Killers have perks they can run to counter it, like ruin, or just blow a whole chunk of progress, like pop.

It can be tense and I’m occasionally jump scared by killers and/or survivors, but otherwise once you’ve put 200 hours into it, it’s not scary anymore. Nothing is after that long.

I hate the Plague. Being barfed on isn’t scary; it’s just annoying and gross. Her character design is great, but I hate her power.

I see a lot of sore winners (almost always survivors) and passive-aggressive losers (responding to gg with stuff like “ok” or “eh”.)

Left a GG as survivor after what I thought was a pretty intense match. My response was a very sulky “I guess” from the killer.

We’ve accepted it. I’m not really seeing anything from anyone saying “oh I’m so worried about being focused down”. I’m seeing a lot more “I’m afraid I’m going to be reported if I tunnel someone with the charm on”.
I may well get tunneled because my my charm, if you can even see it under Felix’s jacket. Oh, well. If/when the harassment comes the chat afterward, I’ll just report and block. If the harassment doesn’t come afterward, I’ll have no idea if they were tunneling me to be a bigot or just tunneling me to be an #########. I’ll just swear at my computer screen and move on with my night.

I got to be honest, as a survivor main, I hate on the other survivors more. Yes, killers can be toxic, facecampers, and obnoxious. However. They generally can’t compare to the salad of trolls, potatoes, and morons that I’ve been playing alongside today.

Having said all that, how would you feel if the game had a charm that offended you? Because, regardless of the fact that you feel that no one should be offended by the Pride charm, apparently many people are. Are you saying that nothing offends you?
I'm not trying to discuss whether you feel that the charm should be offensive, as I already agree with you on that subject. My question is, again, to play devil's advocate and put the shoe on the other foot. If something were added to a video game that YOU didn't like, which in some way and for some reason deeply offended you, would you not also complain? Would you accept the argument that "it's just a charm"? Would that be sufficient enough to make you feel okay about it and not condescended to? Would you no longer feel that your game had been hijacked?

We are not “completely embraced”. Being gay or trans is a criminal offense in nearly 100 countries. I’m an American; 29 states don’t have laws that protect against queer discrimination. 33 states have bill specifically in place to reduce trans rights, including where I live. Gay and trans conversation therapy is still legal in the majority of this country. religious exemption laws still legally allow healthcare workers, including emergency services, to refuse to treat queer and trans patients. Laws were just passed in Tennessee and Texas this year to restrict trans rights. Just because the marriage law was passed doesn’t mean we have equal rights across the board.

Pride is a protest. It always has been. It manifests often as a parade now, but it started as a literal battle. It’s to show that we’re still here and not going back into the closet.

It really seems to depend on the day. Some days the chat is just a zoo of people being #########, and then some days it’s people being perfectly lovely. Maybe it has to do with movements of the planets, I don’t know.

I’m not saying the rights for gay marriage are in any way connected to crap like this, but rather pointing how our PC society is making stuff like this not seem far fetched (which, frankly, it is). Who is to say our society won’t let these crazies legally marry their dog or something down the line?
But back to the topic at hand… I’m not scared that people wearing pride charms will lead to any more tunneling than what we already see. I’m more worried about the auto-ban system itself, and how self reliant it will be without human review (BHVR mods reviewing multiple reports on a flagged player?). Multiple pride charm bearers can easily report the same killer because they lost to him and POOF - autoban.
“People will be marrying their dog” is a very common anti-gay marriage argument. If someone doesn’t understand the difference between an adult consenting human being and an animal, they need therapy. These two scenarios are not comparable.

I dreamed that Lady Dimitrescu was the new killer. She was SO tall that players could see her from anywhere on the map and she had to duck to fit inside the gate (I guess that gate frame had a roof in the dream).

To be fair I'm not even 20 and I've had it really lucky in comparison to some of the things other people have gone through, but it's really not hard to empathise and just remain respectful. I’ve already seen some “Time to uninstall the game” comments on Twitter. Which, if you’re so upset over a tiny cosmetic that you want to quit playing, please do. You’re probably an ######### player as it is.
