As long as we NEVER see Jeepers Creepers come into DBD then I'm fine with basically whatever else they pick for a licensed DLC. :)
I’d hope BHVR wouldn’t be that dumb. The internet would burn them to the ground. (For those unfamiliar, the filmmaker behind “Jeepers Creepers” is a convicted child molester.)

Disclaimer: I don't think this should ever be in the game. This is just for fun.
How would a game go with every Killer and every survivor playing at once? Also, every character can only use their unique perks.
Same number of gens, same amount of time to complete them, same amount of hooks to sacrifice someone. What sort of chaos would inssue?
The game would immediately crash and ######### everyone out of their offerings and items.

I just ran Laurie last night to get DS unlocked. It’s so situational now that it seems useless.

Yeah that weird "music theme" thing he has is actually a Lullaby, not his Terror Radius
And here I thought I was crazy. I could have sworn when those strings started it meant he was getting close to you. I guess I was right.

At least with Cyberpunk some of the issues were funny, like when the dick kept popping out.

How would they prove it anyway? Just because you join someone in a match doesn’t mean you’re communicating with them.

They should REALLY change their schedule to 2 chapters a year rather than ######### 4. Since 3 months per chapter is not going to be sustainable in the long term if the bugs are starting to pile up.
I’d be much happier if they took more time to fix content instead of focusing on new stuff more often. The same errors and bugs shouldn’t persist for YEARS.

Only because I rarely see The Oni.

@GuyFawx said:
I know for a fact they are quiting when they dc right before a hook if it was a dc issue they would dc at the start of the match
Not necessarily. I’ve had the game freeze and kick me well into matches. Not that it excuses people who DC because they’re pouting, but that’s not always how game [BAD WORD] ups work.
-
Throw in NOED too, why not?

They could just use the same answer to everything that doesn't make sense in the movies - Voodoo.
True. Or maybe he grabs onto the survivor’s leg and bites.
-
@Ludicris said:
Chucky.
Have him be the absolute shortest Killer, so he can't see over walls, and survivors can't see over walls to him. The same height as Victor or a little taller. His Power could be that he can use voodoo to switch to randomly spawned dolls around the map. Maybe have the dolls act as wards too giving a notification to Chucky if a survivor get's close to them.
I always wonder those every time I think about Chucky as a killer: couldn’t the survivors just punt him?
-
Also mentioned this before, but since we already have a Capcom chapter, do a “Haunting Ground” chapter with Daniella as the killer.

It matters because your personal hitbox doesn't stick to it.
Got it.

Spirit and Bubba. Today, ran into an odd amount of sweaty Trappers. Including one I played against twice that camped everyone, then when they got down to the last two survivors, slugged one and spent the rest of the match looking for the last survivor to hook them.

Yes, several people including myself have already said that this is how it works. The chain is a straight line. Point A to point B, no deviation, like a magical forcefield. It's not a real chain. It cannot get caught on anything, it doesn't have a physical hitbox and you lose your collision and become frictionless, meaning that slapping yourself against a tree won't do anything except make the chain break slightly faster for the brief window where it was passing through the tree.
Then what difference does it make thar trees are round? It could have 37 angles and it wouldn’t matter if the chain just goes through everything. That’s what I was responding to more than anything else. Yes, I got it, straight line, it’s not an object, no collision for some reason.
-
@CornHub said:
Its because they don't want to give the killer the satisfaction. It's kinda like a "haha you didn't actually kill me, I left on my own terms" I've tried to explain to people the killer probably finds it funny, but it's whatever.
It definitely doesn’t hurt the killer. It just ######### the other survivors.

It's a tree. It's round. You're just going to slip off it because you have no collision. Like trying pressing a greased football against another, smaller greased football.
Deathslinger's chain is always a straight line between you and the killer. Forcing objects through that chain speeds up the breaking process, but it doesn't stop your movement or give you a free escape. For that, you would need to get wedged into the debris around the map.
No, it goes THROUGH the tree. Not off. Not around. If the chain is on the right side and I walk left, it goes all the way through and out the other side.

The chain should be turning red and breaking much faster.
Getting something in the way of you and Slinger means he's less likely to be able to hit you but it usually doesn't completely stop in the reel in or else Slinger would be unplayable.
It didn’t do that. It briefly turned gold then passed right through. Chain break progress didn’t go up any faster.

probably because of his outfit though
You’d think, but about half of them were just playing his default outfit.
-
Let me clarify: I’m already shot and he’s reeling me in. So I walk sideways to force the chain against a tree to stop the reel. The chain passes right through the tree.
-
After playing my 37327743th game where another survivor disconnected, I got down to the end and waited for the Slinger to hook me and call it a day.
Instead, this kind soul carried me all over the map looking for the hatch to let me out. It took so long to find that I wouldn’t have blamed them if they change their mind and hooked me instead. But they were determined. It was crossplay so I couldn’t message them, but if you’re reading this, Laurie thanks you.

Yeah sadly thats what happens. Slinger got a lot of success aswell.
Honestly I think DC is fine. Its not a competitive ranked game.
Instead, I think Bhvr should just create a system that :
1)Replace the DC by a bot
2) The dc dont get notified to killer and survivors, so everyone can continue to play normally as if nothing happened.
3) Everyone in the trial get a bonus amount of points for quitter event.
Win-Win
I like this idea, especially since it’s been an average of one DC a game in the last few days. Before you ask, no I don’t mean one in every game. I mean some games have two or three, so it averages about one per game
-
I don’t know how they would implement it, but a “The Thing” chapter would be amazing.
-
Ghostface makes me paranoid. I know he’s going to jumpscare the ######### out of me at least once in the match, and I’m tense until it happens.
-
When I rarely play killer, if you’re the last player and you weren’t being an ######### all match, and I catch you close to either the hatch or the gate, I will let you go.

Why twins? They are quite strong if played correctly and bring a lot more to the table than the other options
Because I almost never see them played correctly. Once in a great while I will come across a good twins player. Usually, they’re used as a camping double act, or the player puts Charlotte so far away from Victor that they never get any hooks.
-
Also to be fair, they do this to him every time he’s in a new media.
-
It’s an exhaustion perk; not like survivors can spam DH. Once they’ve hit it, they’re ######### as long as you keep chasing them.
-
If I’m against a killer who hasn’t even had a hook all match by the time the gates are open, I’ll sometimes run over to a hook and point at it until they kill me. I don’t know if they mind, but they usually take it. It’s better than having zero kills.

I think the clown is fine. He’s a C-Tier killer doing his C-tier best.

I think The Doctor.
That’s a new one for me. What makes you say the doc is the worst? I’m not arguing; I just always saw him as mediocre myself.
-
The problem with Pennywise is that his best known appearance is that a clown, so we would have to do it with his powers in appearance in such a way that it didn’t make the call and we already have completely useless.
-
He must be getting better. I went from not seeing him at all for weeks to playing against him at least once a night.
-
Congrats! Now please let me out of the basement!

Yeah that's true NOED doesn't need a whole slot but what if the killer has a couple hex perks it also helps with getting rid of them if they are hiding in sneaky spots
Ruin and Devour Hope are bigger immediate worries to me than NOED. NOED is a later worry.

But was it dc or? Because that might be internet problem but this is like every game for me (because dcs are so often lately) game runs basically good, and when someone dc my game gets stucked and than kick me out otherwise it's fine it only happens with dc of other person
I don’t know, to be honest. In that case, it was a DC even though I wasn’t having Internet connection issues. But sometimes, the game will just lock up. About half the time it will stop a few seconds later and I can keep playing (assuming I wasn’t already downed and killed), and the other half I have to CTR ALT DEL the program.

I'd say because in solo queue, it doesn't matter if you break all the totems if your team won't do gens. It feels like in a majority of my games, I'm sitting here doing a minimum of 2-3 gens. Otherwise 2 people on deathhook and 1 gen has popped. So naturally I'm going to ignore totem perks. Also, I don't even think NoED is that good that I need to dedicate a slot for it.
I wish more killers thought this way. I’d say about half of the killers I went up against tonight ran NOED.

Really? So it might be game problem not console only
I got it on myself the other night. I was downed and then the killer couldn’t pick me up and I couldn’t move, and then after a minute, the game finally kicked me out. Pain in my ass.

I've seen people call it overpowered on these forums lol
If it showed the immediate closest totem, yeah, that would be pretty OP. But as a killer, you would have to let the survivor ping pong across the entire map five times.
-
I don’t find it super useful because it shows you the furthest totem on the map. I prefer “Detective’s Hunch” over it.
-
I get that on PC.
-
I didn’t know people hated him. I just never see anyone play him.

I really like this idea, I think it should be some sort of thing like the twins where when you are not using another member then they go around the map looking for survivors and mark the location of them with killer instinct when they get close, and if they get hit then the mend effect gets added. Then I think you should be able to switch to another member for a short time in feral frenzy or something similar so they have some kind of map pressure.
This is kind of what I thought the Legion was going to be when I saw them announced (before I even played). I thought it was going to be that there were four killers on the map and you could jump between their bodies.
-
I don’t necessarily think she’s fair, but I think her difficulty curve sort of makes up for that. I don’t think she needs a Nerf, but I’m not sure how to vote.
-
Depends on how you mean it. In that you see him all the time? Yes. I would say I see the Wraith every two out of 10 games. In that he has no counterplay is overpowered? No. I’m just bored of him.
