The people upset over the charm need to eat a vegetable and get a life.

That ######### hurt to see growing up. Especially since I live in a red state that's so red it going into the 70% during elections
I’m sorry to hear that. I know living in a red state is especially difficult for our community.

I know your joking but that joke was legitimately used to try and hurt lgbt people and their human rights in very public ways by people with legitimate power. It's demeaning.
Yes, I know. I’m queer and trans. I remember Rick Santorum’s “marry a box turtle” argument.

More for me, then!

I am really confused and worried after i see tweet.
So if i put this charm on my survivor, i can report killers for killing me? I can say "they did tunnel me because of charm" and they will get ban for that? I hope i get wrong but this little worried me.
I am playing killer for years and i never did gave attention to survivor charms. I never knew who using what. So i do not think i will do now or in future. So if i killed someone who using this charm, they will report me and i will get ban? Will that work like this? We need answers dear mods.
No, I think people are getting worried over nothing. The point is what they say in chat afterward. Like I said another thread, if you turn on me and then call me a slur after, that’s the reportable part.

A US senator once asked that if we had gay people marry what's to stop people from marrying animals or ice-cream cones
Um, who wouldn’t marry an ice cream cone? Ice cream is delicious.

Dwight, because he was the first one in the menu.

Its not gay panic. I would argue that most of the 'straight' players could care less what anyone else does outside the game. (Yes there are those who hate just to hate, and they belong to every group from every walk of life)
People are genuinely worried about the autoban system as they announced it with very little information. Devs are completely to blame for that.
Then they made the post saying its harassment to target those charm users which is bannable.
Put the 2 together, with again very little information, and yes people are worried that they are going to be punished.
I honestly doubt that this is going to be as big of a problem as people may think. I do think that the autoban system is going to be a mess with unnecessary reports, but I don’t think the little flag on our hips is going to be what clogs up the system.
-
I would actually like a “Haunting Ground” chapter with Daniella as the killer.
-
I think it’s just going to have to come down to the end game chat. I’m wearing the charm. I have no clue why someone chooses to tunnel me in-game, but if the killer starts throwing slurs at me post-game, I can make an educated guess.

I am completely against homophobia, transphobia etc and I generally avoid tunneling when I can but like what exactly do they mean by this. Does this mean tunneling any survivor that wears this charm can get banned? How do they decide if the killer tunneled them due to their charm/sexual orientation or because they brought a key or something.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0FWCSAV642Z7/image.png
Once again I think it is a great idea to try reduce toxicity and specifically hate towards LGBTQIA2S+ but I am just wondering for a bit more clarity about what this means and if anyone who gets tunneled is gonna report the killer for harasment.
I wouldn’t report a killer for tunneling me unless they specifically posted some thing in the chat afterward related to the charm. I think they were just trying to make light of the people who are already being ######### about the pride flag.

You cant deny that gay pride has become heavily political. It may not have started that way, but it is now.
Someones individual sexuality is a different story of course.
Besides, we'd see how political it really is if a straight pride charm were added, just saying.
Pride Is a protest against the violent treatment and lack of rights we’ve historically had and still continue to have in the queer and trans community. It’s not just a celebration. The difference with a “straight pride” parade is that straight people have never been historically repressed, jailed, killed for their sexuality.
-
I find that they do, since I rarely play killer. I try to say something specific and sincere like “GG tense match!” or “GG most fun I’ve had against a Cannibal in a long time” so I hopefully don’t sound sarcastic.
-
I will admit that I rarely notice charms, either. I only notice them if I’m hanging on a hook and I’m bored so I start looking at the killer’s charms, or I’m being healed and the camera pans in such a way that it’s focused on the character’s charms. Or if they’re glowing.

We already get targeted irl, nothing new for us
Exactly. I’ll have the charm on all of my characters. Being tunneled is nothing compared to things people and said and done to me in person. Kiss my rainbow and deal.

I think it'd be awesome to have a random opening each time you launch the game.
I liked the Trickster’s menu, but I agree. It would be cool to have random menus/openings.
-
I don’t know if he’s boring, but I’m kind of bored of seeing him. Three matches against Wraiths in a row tonight, then a Doctor, then another Wraith. How can I miss you if you won’t go away?
-
As it is right now, do any of the staff actually read the reports? Because it seems like some of these problems could be solved if they just had people reading the actual reports, instead of implementing an auto ban system that is absolutely going to blow up in their faces.
-
I find being sneaky and being right there when you can hear the killer’s heartbeat, and you’re not sure if they’ll catch you actually fun and exciting and tense. I don’t just hide for the whole match. I do gens and save people. People who just hide the whole match are #########. Also it’s fun to hit a killer with a pallet when they clearly didn’t see you.
-
I think that they’d better be or people are going to ######### kittens.
-
No, but having multiple players switch to the same character with the exact same outfit is a warning sign for me. It usually means they’re either SWF or going to be annoyed as #########. Had a game against triplet Feng Mins that left the poor 4th player out to dry while they all window looped, teabagged, and flashlight clicked all game. I got VERY sweaty and toxic to make sure I killed them.
-
I picked Pinhead because that has potential to be really ######### up and actually scary.
-
If there are two survivors, Leon and Clair. If just one, Leon.
Killer is Nemesis.
No ideas for the map, so I won’t put this as a bet but I’d like it to be the Spencer Estate.
Billy is my least favorite to play.

I want to make a build that covers a lot of bases but without being all meta perks. I really like to try and use off meta / niche things from time to time so I'm trying to limit it to only 1 meta perk but yeah.
I'm thinking something like:
We're Gonna Live Forever (Can be swapped but I like the BP bonus)
An exhaustion perk
An information perk like Deja Vu or Alert
And Spine Chill
But I just can't ever seem to settle on something and feel like I spread things too thin or don't focus on any one thing enough and thought I'd get some advice from here. Other things I try to splash in are BT (Camping is very prevalent lately) and We'll Make It as I like to be a healer on teams.
Any input would be highly appreciated, thank youuu
I like Detective’s Hunch. Lets you see gens, totems, and boxes for a few seconds.
-
I would like this, or at least a longer duration.
-
Curious and not trying to start an argument here: what is the actual escape rate with keys?
-
Played against a hag today that set three traps around every hook and then face camped. Why even bother with traps at that point?
-
I’d go with Trapper or Doc. Trapper’s skill set is easy to figure out, especially once you learn you can step in your own traps. The Doctor is easy to play and has both ranged attacks and abilities that make survivors more viable (by screaming).
-
Are we allowed to looking for gnome-hunting parties on here, or is that considered game-throwing?
-
Ruin is annoying, but I run Detective’s Hunch. As soon as the first gen pops, I’m after the totems that aura in.
-
Never done a single SWF. It might be fun sometime.
-
But pretty much only to reroll perks/if I’m bored/I actually want prestige skins on a character.

The real way to solve dbds grind. Give people a backpack to store their items they earned lol. I wonder if a killer hit you with franklins would you explode with items like confetti?
I would love Franklin’s 100% more if I just exploded into confetti when it went off.
-
More cute pics to look at instead.
-
The last few seconds of repairing a gen are always tense for me. Probably the scariest moment was when a Ghost Face silently ripped me off of a generator around when I first started playing. Scared the ######### out of me.
-
I get pallet stuns about 2 or of every 10 throws, so I’m happy if I actually landed one. I don’t teabag or be a dick about it; I just think “oh, yay” and run.

Nice

It's an addon and quite a powerful one, either Tombstone Piece or Judith's Tombstone.
Watch his left hand in tier 3 (the empty one). Myers usually keeps it closed, but if he is carrying either of the aforementioned addons, his hand will be open.
The best counterplay is to jump in a locker he is too close. He has to grab you and cannot kill survivors on the ground.
I didn’t know the left hand thing. That’s good to keep in mind!
You’re probably all right and it was devour hope. I’ll have to check next time.
-
I was not the obsession. Two gens were done, two survivors besides me were alive. I’d never been hooked, but had been downed once before and healed. No mori add on (just a hair bow and a dead rabbit).
100% forgot to check for Devour Hope because the unhooks weren’t done while he was anywhere near, but that could be it.

The point is he can only mori you if he grabs you, you're denying him the mori. So he either stands there waiting for you to jump out, or you get hooked and play the game like normal. It doesn't give him the power to mori on command, only if he is able to grab them. I would think taking a hook by getting grabbed out of a locker is much better than instantly getting mori'ed. Imagine all 4 survivors jump into a locker when Myers catches up to them with Tombstone. It's def a viable counter to the add-on
Not 100% sure how this works, but couldn’t he just drop you on the ground and then mori you from there?
-
I wasn’t even playing during the event, so it’s either a bug or accidental early release for 5th anniversary celebration.

My understanding is that the laugh is a global sound effect and has no relation to your proximity to it. People have been telling me to search in places where I know totems or chests spawn.
No wonder I can’t find the damn thing!
-
I asked this in another thread, but approximately how close to the laugh does the gnome spawn? I keep looking around and I can’t seem to find it.
-
I saw this a lot even before the rank reset. Was 6 then (8 after the reset) and consistently get matched with anywhere from rank 1-20.

Do you know the distance you can hear his snarling?
Not offhand. It’s fairly close, but I generally hear it at least a few seconds before he starts to reappear.

A majority of the replies to this is talking about in game objectives being toxic? How? It is your job as a survivor to finish gens and not let the killer get kills. If a killer gets a down and you body block them long enough and make him drop your TEAMMATE you did one of your jobs. The toxicity is messages during/after the game. In game objectives that give you BP are not toxic. Tea-bagging at a pallet is not toxic, you are trying to get to the killer to make him chase you and waste more of his/her time.
Is it frustrating? HELL. YEAH. That does not make it toxic. We as a community need to stop saying everything is toxic.
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH.
END RANT
Not talking about that. Get your gens, use flashlights to rescue teammates, get off of hooks. Those are all objectives. Teabag dancing in the exit isn’t. It’s just BM.
-
Way too much time to finish the gen, and way too big of a buff for killers, especially when you figure in Perks like Ruin and Pop.
-
I know exactly how you feel. I very rarely play killer because I’m not very good, and playing against survivors that just infinite loop and teabag doesn’t make me feel like I’m learning to improve.
-
Turn your volume up. I know this sounds like I’m being dismissive, but I’m not. I don’t always see him, but I find that more often than not I hear him snorting (?) before he pops in, which gives me a few extra seconds to get some distance between us.
