Mandy is just the messenger so please stop shooting her.
Also we are talking about a licensed chapter that the owners of didn't want to have the rights renewed to BHVR. So BHVR can't do much to help out because they don't have rights to that content anymore. Because of that they can't give out vouchers or able to "give" the content to players who owns in on a older system. Netflix should be the ones that get your ire not BHVR who's hands are tied by legal tape

Like is it really customary for a Pig player to accept boops... or is it just a meme at this point

Yeah I agree it’s definitely shady for sure. But yeah I would also love an official statement on the situation. I don’t know when that will happen but maybe they will say something hopefully here soon.
I would also like if the outfits were cell only while also staying in the store too. Like you said whenever we like it or not, they will disappear once the event ends. But yeah, hopefully bhvr changes their minds about these limited and exclusive items.
You know we won't hear anything that matters from them sadly. This just proves that they don't know their playerbase at all.
Just because you allow them to be bought with Shards doesn't mean that's a good thing. I can't play much because of my work so weekends is all I have to spare and not much time at that. So I can't make the shards to even buy a outfit...heck it takes me months to get enough to buy a killer or survivor.

That's a good point btw. I loved our discussion about this topic. Hmmm, but I believe that sadako should have this feature somehow changed. I play solo queue almost all the time, so it seems that I am powerless most of the time btw. Anyway, great conversation.
Congratulations you have achieved the status of Hill to Die On. I have faced the same kind of Sadoko player and still turned my tape in, I just take the first hit and turn it in during cool down.

You’re completely avoiding the point. The best option FOR YOU THE KILLER is to just end the match. You choose not to consider the facts… that you’re just screwing over 3 people for your own convenience. It is not sportsmanlike in any way, shape or form. I didn’t say you were obligated. That’s kind of what I’m pointing out… you’re not obligated to be sportsmanlike… so most all of you aren’t. But own it instead of avoiding the truth.
These are NOT facts but your OPINION on the situation. The Killer have no obligation to do anything for the Survivors at all.
If I go by your logic If a Killer kills one survivor super early it's still unsportsmanlike to continue the match because it will be 3v1......

Oh thats nice when survivors actually recognize what you´re trying. But sometime you get survivors that... well... don´t recognize anything and just proceed to run away.
Awhile ago I was playing Vommy Mommy and was looking around for the Survivors that 3 brought in flashlights.
I saw them shining the lights in the sky and spinning around, when I got there they clicked at me then spun around again. I figured they wanted to farm so I looked up and we'll spewed into the sky spinning around. They began crouching and clicking as we farmed each other for the rest of the match.....I had to kill the 4th survivor because they were trying to escape the match and end it too soon.

@Tsulan said:
Is it just me, or did most people just read the first sentence?
Yeah, the wandering around while ignoring survivors sounds weird. Did the first 2 gens go very quickly? Maybe they decided its not worth the effort.
I did a match as Demopuppy and when I got to a Gen I started smacking it like I was trying to repair it. A few Survivors saw me realized what I was doing and preceded to give me pointers how to repair Gens.....that was a fun laid back match for all.

(TL:DR: overcharged should be buffed back to the ptb version so that killers aren't required to run 4 gen perks)
I played so many games as killer where gens just pop and I can't do anything about it. when I have the ability to do something I either get high levels of lag or auto aim keeps redacting my hits.
For reference I usually play killers like doctor and Wesker. I play on the ps5 and I never really use many add-ons.
recently I've been getting games where I get impossible situations which makes every game feel like I'm playing against hackers.
I've tried using stronger perks and stronger add-ons but I really hate using add-ons and I usually consider it as an unskillful action.
A good example of the types of builds I try to use was this one overcharged, call of brine, sloppy butcher, and nurses calling. I used it once on trapper and received a 4k in a difficult match and tired it on other killers. It went well at first but eventually survivors were getting gens done in just seconds despite the fact they didn't have any gen perks.
With this in mind it brought me back to the meta shake up and how overcharged was nerfed for live when this was announced I was quite annoyed since I knew back then that it was a bad change.
The point of the meta shake up was to make the game more playable for all killers not just nurse. So it would of been practical for the devs to make it so that killers aren't required to run 4 perks just to make sure the gens didn't pop.
If overcharged would of stayed the same it would of made killer finally powerful enough to properly defend the gens and allow for the killer to run additional perks in order help in other aspects such as chase or healing which are just as bad as gens.
With all of this to say my final statement is that killers are still struggling with gens and survivors are just as powerful as they were before the meta changes and most issues could be solved by making individual perk more powerful alone.
Here's the thing they nerfed all the Gen slowdown perks because they increased the Gen repair time. The bad part is they didn't touch Gen repair speed perks and now survivors are running speed perks so Killers that don't stack slowdown perks then Gens will pop just as fast as before.

@Laluzi said:
It's well documented that the game is killer sided at low mmr. Survivors are far less gen focused and don't run tiles very well, if they know how to run tiles at all. You need to play much more killer than four games before you're getting a solid picture of killer gameplay and how difficult it is on average. Right now you have beginner killer MMR and presumably higher survivor MMR on account of playing it often, so of course you're trying harder as one role than the other.
It doesn't sound like you're performing that well, and the NOED play was 100% the survivors' fault unless you hooked someone next to NOED (and even then, it was their choice to try and rescue rather than leave.) NOED reveals itself and it's easier to cleanse than it's ever been. When it gets more than one kill in a 4-man-endgame situation, it's much more due to survivors fumbling the ball or being greedy than it is the killer's move.
Keep at it, get to better teams, and you'll see that killer requires more focus than survivor does.
@RatbasterdJr said:
Low mmr = killer sided.
keep going and eventually you’ll start getting stomped. Then you have to decide whether to quit killer like most, or learn and get better.
Thank you someone who actually gets that even with all the buffs Killer got that it's not always "Auto Win" for Killers above a certain MMR bracket

And thats what makes addons such a problem at the balancing side, once you get rid of busted addons and streamline the rest its much easier to detect what a Killer needs and adjust it, right now certain Killers can go from weak without addons to insane with them and balancing it makes it so much harder.
Whoever needs a bump after an addon prune can get a buff without the hassle of "well now this addon is totally broken so we have to nerf it in 3 months..."
Oh I agree but it seems from many survivors that I have seen based on what I have seen in the forums want Killers nerfed without any compensation in return.
In the end do you bring the strong Killers down to the weaker levels or do you bring weaker Killers up to the stronger levels.

Lightborn is bad because flashlights are already pretty weak items so using a perk against them isn’t really worth much. In fact the more survivors you see with flashlights the better off you probably are that match. So regardless of what happens in the lobby you probably shouldn’t use Lightborn honestly.
Franklin’s is useful regardless of the lobby because it is unusual for survivors to have no items at all going into a match. It doesn’t really matter much if they bring a toolbox versus a medkit, for instance, you’ll get value out of Franklins provided they have an item. So again you don’t need to see the lobby to get value from Franklin’s.
Basically neither of these perks is good or bad because of seeing people on the lobby. Lightborn is usually bad either way, and Franklin’s is consistently “ok” regardless of what they bring.
I use it because I'm sick of the the blinds that make no feasible sense that work like looking at a wall and they get a blind at a 180° angle or when I don't feel like doing the whole dance around with 2-3 flashlights trying to hook one survivor.
Then we have unavoidable blinds like at pickups or at locker grabs when the Killer has no wait to stop the blind unless the Survivors get the timing wrong (which isn't hard to get wrong)

It's so easy to de incentivize camping. Give a large reward to gen repair speed while the killer is the only player near the hook. This encourages survivors to do what they should be doing, it punishes killers for camping before end game, and it doesn't change the endgame at all since all the generators are done! So simple.
That's the best suggestion and more reasonable suggestion instead of a down right major punish all camping

All it takes is the killer to have a set of good headphones and you won't get away so easy
It's all about skill and a good set of headphones (I love that counter argument it's so funny) can't help if the Killer player dosnt have Skills to figure out the sounds they hear.
From the very beginning of this post you seem to have a counter argument to any one who doesn't agree with you. I'd be careful with that because you may have "4years experience" playing the game but very little experience in the forums because Mods close posts for very similar reasons.

Can I be completely honest?
As a Sadako main, I'd hate that. Genuinely would make her much less interesting to play to me and just turn her into a far less skilled killer than currently, imho. Every pallet would be a case of "demanifested through string ones and break/mindgame weaker ones" with absolutely no variation, which would then massively increase the effectiveness of W holding because looping is no longer a viable option.
And looping I can deal with and can shut down. I've had to deal with it since 2017, I've mastered the Old Ways™, and I know how to counter a lot of #########. Hold W is just... Boring. There's very little you can do as most characters except W key right back and that's so mind numbingly dull.
So, actually, I'd hate that change. It would reduce her skill expression, reduce the requirement to play well around loops, and increase w key gameplay.
How bout she is able to attack while demanifested but in doing so manafests her and slows her down for 10 secs....that would be a good balance

You are saying that survivors shouldn't see X because killer cannot see X. So, applying your own logic in reverse: killers get to see the survivors, then survivors should see the killer too. And survivors can't see killer items (since they don't have items), so killers should not be able to see survivor items. I'm literally reusing your own logic.
The fact the game is asymmetrical does not mean one side should have more advantages then the other, no. It means both sides should be balanced differently, but in the end their advantages compensate for each other. And it clearly isn't the case, since the killrate is 61%.
Yes being asymmetrical is the very reason why one side will have more benefits than the other.
Either the single player will be stronger than the many players, the single will have a advantage to change out loadiuts based on what the many are bringing.
They wouldn't need that if it was a normal 4v4 game style but it's not.

You'd think by now that BHVR would understand that most killers don't want to tunnel and camp, they know survivors hate it, it feels wrong for them to do it, yet these strategies still remain extremely strong.
If you nerf tunneling and camping while buffing 12 hooking and gen patrolling, then killers will be forced to adapt or fall behind. This change would be very simple to do, I have limited experience in coding but changing values according to variables is something amateurs can do in half an hour at most. So with this in mind I assume that most of the devs at behavior crutch on camping and tunneling, and thus think it is essential and refuse to change it.
It's really unfortunate that the game is made in this way, I understand that developers should never be good at their own game, but the game itself is based around bringing the strongest things you possibly can and playing without mercy, I don't know about you guys but that sounds like a dreadful game, and not at all what a party game should play like.
The Devs have said they can't just Nerf Camping and Tunneling as they are valid strats. I one agree there are situations where Camping and Tunneling should be used like at End Game or to get that one player out of the game asap to get rid of CoH or to make it a 3 v 1.
If they hard Nerf both then those situations will be that much harder.

Dredge update made this so much worse. There's locker pairs on pretty much every map now. Used to be this was mainly an issue on Dead Dawg, now bully squads can send you wherever they want and still pull this off.
I wish there was something in place to deal with this strat, because unless you're Twins/Trapper/Dredge or maybe Nemesis as a Hail Mary, there is literally nothing you can do about this except wait for them to run out of battery. Which, if they're Built To Last gamers, is gonna take a long-ass time. It's cheesy as hell and it shouldn't be the invincibility shield it currently is.
See that's why our lord and savior Lightborn never leaves my builds if I see 1 or more Clickers.

That I don't care about what I do care about there's still the moaning bug roaming around where you can hear a Survivor moaning in a area after they have been picked up or sacrificed
-
Here's the thing you can't punish toxic campers and tunnelers without punishing those who use them at the proper times.
We have to remember BHVR themselves have said multiple times that they are both valid strats and when they do anything about them it has to be done carefully. Also that during end game that's all the Killer has left is to Kill so Camping and Tunneling is the way to go, you can't hard Nerf both strats without hurting end game.
Also it's not up for either side to make sure the other side is having fun.

So them doing it good = scripting? We cant just assume everyone who plays good is hacking.
Sure, there a lot of subtle hackers right now, which are worst imo because you cant be 100% sure to report, some people are just good.
No what they mean is times when you don't even target the survivor that used DH or situations where there is no point to use it.
For example I'm chasing a Nea and a Dwight, the Dwight was unhooked by Nea and to be fair I go after Nea. Theres at least a Survivor and a half space between them and I attack Nea, my stain is on Nea not Dwight and once I attack the Dwight DHs at the perfect moment to avoid the hit but I was never targeting him.
The other Situation I have seen is I'm chasing a Dwight and he jumps a window but I try for a lunge. I'm a few secs late and he's on the other side but when my attack would connect the window he DHs when there would be no reason to.

Why? It provides an ability to counter being camped to avoid Survivors, particularly during solo queue, being completely powerless against the killer just waiting half a second to swing.
[for the record, i am completely against the entire finishing mori + unbreakable basekit system.]

You'd be surprised how many dosnt agree with that and expects the Killer to leave the hook at End Game....

Camping and tunneling needs to be made less viable eventhough camping can be weak tactic if survivors are smart. But agains't bad survivors it's good tactic. Had game were my intention was not to camp but I had to do something quickly and left my killer to facecamp and when I started to play again I immediatelly got grap and another down quickly. I resumed to normal gameplay after that but it gave me the momentum for easy win.
Like I said when used correctly it's ok even face camping. But not when it's at like 5 Gens or you have no reason to tunnel someone out ie the one player with CoH.
Banning Killers on those grounds WILL cause them to stop playing. If I was banned for camping and Tunneling at end game and couldn't get it reversed I would quit the game at that point because of the confirmation about it's use and when I wasn't using it as a toxic behavior.

There would still be a decent number haha ! But as much as I don't like camping and tunneling, I think if something was to be done about it, it should be through in-game measures rather than bans. Many new players camp because they don't really know any better, and it would be a bit violent for one's first approach to the game to warrant them a ban immediately, haha !
Yea but they have a point though. If they did start banning on Tunneling, camping, etc alot of Killers would stop playing because we have been told it's a valid Strat by Mods and Devs.
There are times where Tunneling and Camping should be used but not during 5 gens left that sort of thing.

I believe they should be standarized and Iridiscent addons removed entirely, something like this 4 brown, 3 yellow, 3 green, 2 purple.
Im going to use Myers as he is my main and its the one I have more knowledge:
- 3 brown, 3 yellow and 3 green affect each one of the power in different tiers, (EW3 duration, speed while stalking and aura detection after stalking), for example brown aura addon gives you 1 second of Aura reading after stalking for 2 seconds, yellow 3 seconds after stalking for 2 seconds, green 5 seconds after stalking for 2 seconds.
- 1 brown addon (there are 4 instead of 3 like the other 2 colors) is the "gimp myself but I get more BPs addon" something like "you cant walk while stalking but get double BPs on X category" or something like that.
- Purples become the addons that affect your power in some way, for Myers I believe Scratched Mirror and Dead Rabbit (which should get the value increased to 50%).
This way makes it much easier to balance the addons and Killers themselves, reduces clutter and makes it clearer for everyone what you are getting, how many times a Killer is ok but a few addons make it completely busted? Or when balancing a Killer they have to account for a myriad of variables, with this kind of change you have to take account of only 3 parameters.
Survivors would get a similar treatment except only 2 addon categories instead of 3 and half the items are gone too (only 2 kind of medkits and of toolboxes).
The thing is It's apples to oranges since not much changes with Survivor addons.
By removing the Iri Addons many Killers will lose major builds or thing that dramatically change their powers.
Doc for example, all his add-ons from low tier up to purple have some similar effects just varying strengths but most change his power dramatically. Each of the files add something to the madness while others change the shape of his shock. But his best Addons are his Iris The King and Queen.

Yeah the sound was really annoying so that was kinds the point
The point your making is kinda moot because you can still get the killers attention with the flashlight and can still blind with it just fine.
What this change does is affect Macro Clickers that are using Flashlights to actually cause issues. I don't suffer from seizures but those Clickers gave me constant headaches because of the rapid flashing with the clicks. If it has that kind of affect on someone who doesn't suffer from Seizures I feel sorry for those who do.

I would say that this would be a hard no.
Yes there are various ones that do the same thing but each one is a varying tier. If you combine them into one then new ones might have to take their place to have variety of different tiers. But removing them all together would make Killers boring and make it so everyone would know exactly how to deal with them since there's nothing augmenting thier powers.

I enjoy playing as Clown, even if he isn't the strongest killer. He can do decently well though if you do manage to down survivors quickly, which is something he has the potential to do, because of his very strong anti-loop ability.
I do not really enjoy going against him however, because you fairly often feel a bit hopeless against him. That is not to say he has no counterplay, he does, but it is often not the most interesting, and can also be very loop and map dependent.
Hes not the strongest but that doesn't matter, what matters is that you enjoy playing him. I love playing Doc but stopped because I got too focused on winning.
I started playing him again and remembered why I loved him
