I haven't encountered this, but is their killer instinct bugged for you? I'll Chain survivors and sometimes get not KI despite them being right in front of me

Currently I'm, playing both Onryo and Dredge more often, bc I'm actively leveling them and due to the event i get a high number of flans by that. And although I know about such comparisons and would agree with them, I cannot really say that I get better results with Dredge than with Onryo. Or that the games with Onryo are more difficult.
Your buff aims in the wrong direction, I think. Using TVs is already pretty rare in my experience (I usually don't use a single one when facing her). So such a thing like exposed would reduce this interaction even more. There's just no need to use the tapes in most cases. So thats the thing we need to change.
I agree that TV interaction is almost nonexistent unless you force them to start with a tape, and even then that doesn't do much. There should be more of an incentive to turn them off, such as the longer more TVs stay on, the more condemned builds. I think having condemned build up should also inflict certain status effects, such as Oblivious, Exhausted, or Blindness, to further incentivize TV use.
Also I think the cool down on TP is much too long to be utilized effectively, along with their RNG placement.

Susie, def. She reminds me of a friend I had in high school (social outcast, bullied, loves cute and vibrant clothing). She obviously never stabbed anyone, but there are those characteristics that resonate with me.
I also connect with Dwight pretty well. A dorky guy with awkward social skills who's just trying to make a living.
-
I adore Oni, only thing I wish is that he would passively gain his power so that he can't be completely denied it against good loopers.

Yeah that wouldn't surprise me either tbh 😂 tbf the MMR isnt really based of skill so not like itd matter lol.
But yeah I'd rather character icons, I'm curious why youd prestige people beyond 3 other than a silly number to be shown.
I'm kinda hoping we get item colours at X prestige levels or colour killer powers at X prestige. Devs have spoke about it before and its give players something to aim towards (for example I'd love a green medkit skin or a different coloured chainsaw for my hillbilly)
As much as I would love unique cosmetics for every tier after 3, I get the feeling that won't be the case, but I don't want to set up expectations until we get news on what will be happening.
-
As someone pointed out in another thread, my biggest concern is that people will confuse prestiging for ranks, and complain about how they've been paired with a player whose prestige is much higher than theirs. I'd honestly much rather players not see each others' prestige, as there's no point to it.

Yeah, it felt pretty suspicious to me, especially as the second I did manage to locate his body (literally the only way I killed him was that he was coincidently in the shack, and I let fly with Main Event with the bouncy knives), he immediately DC'd.
I wish we didn't have to record our games religiously in order to report shenanigans like this, but as it wasn't the standard 'nur nur I have No Mither and you can't pick me up' switcher, I'm not completely sure.
That's very suspicious, and I feel lag switching definitely may have been the case. I also wish we didn't have to self record matches, but unfortunately the game isn't designed to self record, so most players tend to get away with it if no evidence is provided.
-
Love Joey, but Susie is my girl. I agree that the rubber banding is pretty bad for me right now. It may not seem like much, but it adds precious seconds to chases and makes it feel more stressful to down survivors, as hits aren't going through properly. I'm hoping it gets fixed by next patch.

I can't speak for any of the Survivors, I main Steve, but Artist looks so gorgeous. Finally a good head piece since her release.

Artist's mask really makes me want to main her, but I'm quite terrible with her power.
I wish their masks and anniversary crowns were like charms so you could equip it with any head cosmetic.
-
Entity Almighty, the PING in that first pic. It's quite possible that he just had absolutely terrible service, but if it happened every time you encountered him during the match, I'd have to say it's probably more than coincidence.
-
@Blazelski said:
I doubt it, as this happened to me and my friend in the same match earlier today, and I believe it happened to me yesterday as well. Seems to be something wrong with the game atm.
The nice thing is that it didn't give me a ban timer, but I certainly hope it doesn't become more common throughout the weekend. That'd put a damper on trying to play the event.
-
The red lighting is pretty sick. Been playing Legion and acting normally for each survivor until everyone is two hooked, then goof off afterward. It's always funny when I start messing around because they think it's a trick (and rightfully so), but with this we get in decent chases and everyone gets BP and hopefully masks, if they found them.
-
Sadly yes, the license was lost. I'm still holding out for a possible return, but for right now it's unobtainable for new players.
-
This is absolutely adorable and I wish more people had your positivity ❤ I hope you got all of the Masquerade rewards so far and continue to have fun!
-
This, along with the achievement to be the last survivor alive to activate the final gen and escape through the exit gates, are a few if the only achievements I haven't gotten yet because it's just insanely challenging to get them completed
-
I adore the killer masks, they're all pretty fantastic, but I especially love Deathglinger's and Spirit's for the Junji Ito vibes I'm getting from it
-
I genuinely didn't know this was a thing, so I'm glad I'm aware of it now. I just thought I was being too predictable.
-
Honestly just slug at that point, so long as they aren't running No Mither and Soul Guard.

Interesting. I wonder if it was a dev outfit or a hacked outfit.
Did he maybe see the Lurking Stripes one in poor lighting? It's a possibility he may have mistaken the red for black if it was dark enough.
-
@AVoiceOfReason said:
@Viciusaurus My friend says it was the same style but it was black and gold instead. Is there another outfit that is kind of like that but black and gold instead of red and gold?
Black and gold? I'm afraid I don't know about that one. This is the only nurse cosmetic I've seen to have gold accents.

This dress really should've come with at least a head. There's like nothing that matches it.
Honestly, though. I know some cosmetics have a very particular style and don't mesh well when mixing, but I agree that having a head piece would have been really nice.

Thank you. I guess I never got it? Weird. I could have sworn that I did all of the events.
It's my pleasure. Iirc it was randomly unlocked, much like the Maskquerade masks. I know I missed some rewards from that event, so it's a possibility you missed this one.
-
I will say that I feel it's extremely easy to miss the pedestals because they blend in extremely well into the environment. I've only found them by accident from the purple Aura they give behind walls.

That's probably it. I'm guessing it was for New Year's?
Yeah, it was for the Lunar New Year as an event only item. I'm not sure if it will ever come to the shop, but participating in the event was the only way to obtain it at the time it was available.
-
It wouldn't happen to be this one, yeah?
-
You aren't required to play Trickster, every Killer and Survivor mask can be unlocked using any Killer/Survivor. I actually just got that one, so it may just be a bug for the time being.
-
I've noticed this while farming with survivors today. It seems to be worse than usual for me today, possibly because of the influx of players for the event
-
This tickles me
-
I've already come to accept the fact that when I start a Tome challenge, I will never get it first try. Was doing the one where I needed to just do gens, and lo and behold for the first five games I was the the first to be chased and left on hook by my suddenly super efficient teammates while gens popped like crazy, yet the moment I take this challenge off I get potatoes again.
-
I personally would love a ping system if only to make solo queue much more tolerable. As it is I mostly bring Aura reading perks, and even with Kindred on while hooked the players I encounter run around not knowing what to do half the time, despite the fact that they can see each other.
-
I see some good examples in here that I already agree with, so I won't repost them, but I would like it if full condemnation gave the ability to insta-down that survivor, if only to make it much more lethal and add gravity to neglecting it.
I'd also like it if there were more psychological horror to occur as the condemn meter fills (like Doctor's Madness). Have them start seeing false Onryos, make the lighting weirder, just something to help keep survivors paranoid.
Edit: Typo
-
We go zoom
-
For Onryo, I'd like it so that if a survivor doesn't have a video tape, there's some sort of effect that occurs to survivors to encourage them to take a tape. That, or a bigger buff to intermittent invisibility for more mind game potential.
-
Twins, due to how very little I've gone against them, but when the match comes when I do encounter them, I go full potato and firmly ingrain myself into the ground.
-
I wish I could say people will take this to heart, but I currently have a new high score of death threats for playing killer.
-
Honestly the most fun I have playing killer at this point is in the tutorial match. :|
I get genuinely anxious whenever I load into the killer screen, no matter who I play as. I hate that I actually have to mentally prepare myself to play as role that is meant to be fun, but has come to be something so stressful it may as well cause an anyuerism.
I've lost all hope for this game to get into any better of a position, and I've really been taking Coté's words to heart of playing something else, because clearly these problems have persisted for years and very little has been done. I used to play this game for hours every day. I now barely play one match once a week, and it's just so vastly disappointing.
-
Chat filter in a nutshell.
-
I would love bots for replacing DCing killers/survivors only on public matches.
I desperately want bots for customs, though, so I can try new killers in peace.
-
While I love the idea of such a system for solo queuers, I don't think the killer should see them. Idk how well of a compensation it would be, but I'd like to see something like Fire Up being base kit for all killers, so the longer a match continues, the more of a threat they can become.
-
Legit was reading this and got matched with her. No joke as soon as she cawed, my team mates just ran up to her to die on hook.
-
In the past five days I've only encountered her twice, and both times were the most fun I've had in a while because I love her playstyle.
-
One of my favorites today was playing against a Wraith on the Game. I had Bond and watched a Jill bring a key and proceed to sit in the lower level doing absolutely nothing, waiting for everyone to do so hatch could spawn.
Edit: Spelling

I read the article, and while I found the data as expected, the one thing I was concerned for was the inclusion of the CloudID, which is concerning, especially after the period of DDoS attacks and swatting of content creators.
It'd be nice to see data from different regions and to be able to compare them to see the bigger picture across the player base.
-
Sadako + Scratched Mirror Myers for serious spooks
Oni + Spirit for family revelry
Trapper + Hag to keep survivors paranoid af

I feel you. Right now I am at 3500 hours and 1500 is survivor roughly so the balance is a bit clearer now. I hate face camping (unless end game) but survivors from my perspective complain about any camping. Face camping at 5 gens is uncalled for IMO as you don't even know if the survivors are good yet lol. on top of that you got a down before any gens popped so decent start too. Proxy camping is a legit strat and decided on the fly by what's going on around the hook....that should never be complained about because the situation was created by survivors. last but not least is EG camping and anyone complaining about that needs to do the community a favor and uninstall please.
Oh I'm def for proxy. Twins and Huntress are fantastic at that, especially when EGC occurs. It amounts so much late game pressure, and rewards the use of Blood Warden when timed right.

He took out his anger at you
I could tell. I understand playing killer can give me heart palpitations, but at least I try to go into a new match knowing these are different people than who I last played. Granted, if I see repeat players, it's on.

I don't think I would be upset at a Legion camping me. It's the Nurses, Spirits, Blights, etc that drive me nutz....like git gud dude.
It wasn't so much me upset at the Legion camping, but the situation as a whole.
-
Clearly I did not have the better gaming chair. I need to rethink my life choices
-
I just saw the announcement myself on PC, but the link they provide just leads to a 404 error.
-
I'm terrible at looking myself, so knowing this I tend to do what I can for my team to make up for that (running healing builds, staying dedicated to gens, cleansing totems, etc). I usually go down pretty quickly, and if it's end game and I'm getting hardcore camped, I tend to just suicide on hook so that they can escape. I consider it a win for me if I can at least get my teammates out or pretty far progressed before I die.
