Currently venting because I'm quite frustrated at the moment. I'm trying to learn Jason for the first time (PS5 player), and the skill level of bots is genuinely infuriating. So trying out the new 2v8 edition, and had a match against Slinger and Huntress. At the end result screen it changed Slinger's name to Stranger Eddie. His actual name is Caleb, isn't it? I saw the patch notes where they upped the cooldowj timer for shapeshifting and Hellfire, while also making Scent Orbs and Pounce charge available sooner. Just wnrt against a Blight on Ormond and we were all slugged at five gens and bled out. I know that the immediate answer is that the match will end, eventually, but at what what point is this not intentional griefing or an outright refusal to play the match? So reading up on Lara's perks has piqued my interest in testing out new combos. I'm currently at work atm, but would these two perks synergize well together? If I'm understanding it correctly Hardened would show the killer's aura as a replacement for screaming, and scene partner would guarantee that reading mid chase. So I'm testing out the new killer and am really confused by how he works. The description is super vague on how to really use his powers so I was hoping someone could shed some light on it. I'm trying to get the TP to work, but whenever I look through the blob cams, there's no option to hit survivors with a slipstream, nor is there one to pop up like Hag. So just got out of a match against a Huntress, and it was pretty brutal, to say the least. We spawned in on Coal Tower near killer shack and were having away at a gen when she found us (Lethal), and being the randos that we were, decided that we wanted this gen done. I'm not sure if this has been suggested yet or not, but practicing with bots while they're given flashlights is... interesting, to say the least. They attempt to blind midchase and don't utilize them in a manner a human player would. It's funny watching them desperately and rapidly click away trying to get a blind of any kind, but it'd be nicer to have them be set to where they primarily attempt0 comments 12 views last activity

Just finished a match on PC by escaping though the hatch while the challenge was selected. At the end screen it turned golden to indicate that the challenge was complete, but going into the Archives it says I didn't escape. Will attempt a second run at this to ensure it wasn't anything on my end. Can confirm after several matches of escaping through hatch it does not register the completion. So currently testing out the bots and played a game as Dredge on Lerys against a Dwight, Steve, David, and Vittorio (idk if that will matter, but listing it anyway). The basement stairs on this map have a weird bug where you can go down them, but once you reach the top there's some sort of barrier that prevents you from leaving unless you hug the wall. I've gotten several server dcs today, and it's boosted me up to a 15 minute timer. I've been playing the tutorial matches to pass the time, but I'm hesitant to continue playing tonight because I don't want to chance it further. Is there any word on when a fix will be implemented? So with the penalties currently off and enduring match after match of watching team mates DC, I just wanted to mess around and played the lil bot tutorial because I knew the match could at least play out. This achievement is very frustrating, almost as much as Left For Dead. Is it worth getting? I've been trying all evening and any survivor with half a mind will know exactly what's up and just dive bomb straight into a locker, or hook suicide if I do hook them. Been noticing lately that my games have taken a drastic turn for the worse. I've been able to get a consistent 3k till today, where suddenly now I'm going against incredibly coordinated teams and am now having great difficulty downing a single survivor, and if I do succeed at most I'm only getting 1k if I'm lucky. I've encountered several matches tonight where killers were running Knockout and then just slugging survivors, refusing to hook. Each time a survivor wouod get up they'd be right there to knock em back down. Playing survivor tonight I've noticed that I've consistently encountered repeat players as both survivor and as killer. It was pretty cool because I got the same 3-man SWF and killer twice in a row while solo queueing, so it was really interesting and pretty fun to see the second match play out once we understood how we all played. Took the time to start leveling up Rebecca, and at first I really didn't like this perk because I'm AWFUL at hitting great skill checks (can't count the times I've missed my DS check in the past). I've had several lobbies today trying to play killer, and I'm the only one readied up. When the clock hits 10-15 seconds left, a random survivor will just up and leave, to be replaced with a new survivor who will repeat the same action. Was just in a match playing Legion on Rancid Abbatoir, and after finding the first survivor I was close enough to enter Feral Frenzy and attack at the same time, but instead there was a weird glitch where I was in a permanent state of FF (without being considered in FF as the meter did not drain). So I was playing Legion on the Yamaoka Estate, and everything is playing normally. At around ~7 minutes to survivor I'm chasing is running headfirst into a wall, I can no longer attack, and my Feral Frenzy isn't ending despite the meter running out, and the I'm kicked from the session. Went against a Legion on McMillan, 5 gens left, one dead due to suicide on hook, and the Leg set up their tent next to someone on hook (It was me) and the other two randoms just sat there, doing nothing, truly intimidated by the Leg's camping prowess. Just had a match in solo on Hawkins against a Hag. A player went down in the first two minutes, but wasn't hooked, as several survivors were in the area with her. She eventually gets picked up, but then immediately throws down the pallet and just starts spam vaulting. Eventually another player just outright surrenders, and theb the entire team gets downed. I'm afraid I don't have footage for this, but I just had a match playing as Trickster on Shelter Woods. Everything's going fine, when run into a Leon and begin chase. Get him injured, and then swing to down him, however, he's hit but isn't downed, and then I randomly teleport to a different location. So just had a match against a Trapper on Thompson House, and he was having a really rough time. He got maybe three-four hooks total by the time the last gen popped, and then NOED kicked in. Now as someone who plays Killer, I know that this is completely my team's fault for not taking the time to cleanse totems, and it def makes for some spicy plays and a chance for killers to make a comeback. Just played a match on Coldwind against a Bubba. Discovered a lit totem almost immediately and was trying to break it. He found me and chased me off, but then my team mates took notice of it so I'm like "This has to be DH." He literally threw the match for Thrill of the Hunt. I'm having a really hard time with this one right now. I'm not a great killer to begin with,, and I'm just trying to get the Adept achievements. It's almost impossible with how rampant toolboxes are from the event, and certain killers really have no form of gen slowdown, so nearly every match is over in minutes, typically before I can even get a third hook. So just got out of a match on Gas Heaven against a Hillbilly while solo queuing with three other console players, who was revving his chainsaw right from the get go. I watched him give codes away today, and he did his best to come up with a way to give console players a chance by revealing all but the last two digits of the code to help them out, but still they're gone before one can even hit the Redeem button.
