Ugh...this makes my head pound.
I play killer in red ranks. I RARELY run into SWF groups who go into a match with the intention of making my game miserable. You act like it is every single game. And if they do? So what? I’m a competent enough killer to kill them all WITHOUT using moris and strong add-ons.
If I wanted to I could go into every match with Prayer Beads and an ebony and wreck everybody without thinking that they are also human. They aren’t bots.
If you’re concerned with SWF groups trying to bully you then obviously you’re not confident enough in your ability as a killer. If it’s THAT bad then I’d recommend playing Nurse or Spirit when you suspect an SWF group or just play survivor.
The same can be said about you. If you can't deal with the new matchmaking perhaps you just aren't good enough to face high rank killers on your high rank survivor.
It comes down to someone can't be rank 1 and group up with a rank 20 to farm BP against rank 20 killers while still keeping their rank 1 status.
Sorry, not sorry.
People who reside in objective reality and intellectual honesty have no leg to stand on crying about the change. SWF breaks perks and the core uncertainty the game is based on. To even suggest somehow the disadvantaged who have to play against the intel hack known as VOIP are not rising to the challenge while the intel hack users are the victim is DAMN funny.
To further suggest these paying players at rank 20 should be forced to indulge you and your friends (3xR1, 1xR20, exploit group) for whatever reason du jour is even more amusing.
Sweet, sweet, entitlement.
Your group, your unfair group composition, your queue times, your problem.
I say this with no malice towards you but an overt frankness in apathy to the plight SWF lovers/abusers appear to now suffer from.

Yeah...SOME SWF groups are that way. Some are just causal friends just playing together. Not everybody sweats to bully the killer ya know.
2 in 10 you might be speaking on behalf of. The other 8 in 10 I point towards. I'd wager 1/2 of the 2 in 10 you represent are simply groups incapable of bullying anyone because they lack the talent.

It’s not the fact that SWF groups want to bully newer killers. They just don’t want to play lobby simulator for 20 minutes to get into a match that will last a less amount of time than your queue time.
I don’t give a damn who I face off against. A SWF group and I see four flashlights? That’s funny. Spirit and Lightborn and they’re screwed. People make SWF groups out to he unbeatable.
It’s not a problem of them to “GiT gUd”. Who actually has an issue of facing red rank killers? They’re just players who play the game more often. Doesn’t mean they’re some sort of master at the time game. I’m red rank and I can play boosted as hell.
Nope, they absolutely want to bully new killers and give the appearance they are better than they actually are. Farming BP while doing it is a part of that too.

I was with some friends, we were all lower ranks (some green, yellow, and brown but at least two of us had hit Rank 1 on survivor multiple times in the past)
and we matched up with a Rank 20 killer with 1.0 hours in the game..
Pretty good job so far.
I felt really bad when he hooked me and this brand new Trapper attempted to place traps everywhere around me for over a minute staring at me in the face and just losing emblem points without having any clear way for the game to tell them 'This is NOT what you should be doing right now'.
Bonus points if you can elaborate on how keeping themselves in low ranked play where they win more, farm more BP, and have much more fun is not what they should be doing as opposed to moving towards rank 1 and doing the opposite in all three of the aforementioned.
Survivors gain something by moving up ranks in so far as having better teammates. Killers gain absolutely nothing.
Don't just state "because" as that misses the point. There is nothing to gain but long queues and headaches from being a rank 1 killer. There isn't even bragging rights as it resets each month and no one cares what rank you are.
-
Full reinstall worked for me. Sorry for the delayed reply I had some weird internet issues to resolve.
Also if you are coming back to the game from an extended hiatus and notice long queues, reinstall. Even though your game updated it doesn't seem to go over smoothly.
-
Same issue. I'm reinstalling to see if it helps.
-
Infinites were never infinite, they lasted until the game ended. If a long loop still exists that can last until the game is over then the net effect is the same. With the new scoring system, any loop that can be run to take a full generator of repair time is poor design. Much like forcing killers to let the survivors do well to do well themselves is poor design.

Every killer says they don't use BBQ for Aura Reading (even Billies, lol) but BBQ helps you in a lot more ways than you think, even if you downplay it.
It's frankly disgusting how dishonest killers are about this.
And yet when anyone suggests nerfing the Aura Reading on BBQ none of the killers are open to that idea.
No, it really doesn't. I don't need to see an aura to know where a survivor is. I don't camp so whether they are 40 or 400 yards doesn't make a difference.
That's if I even bother to take the time to look around after hooking instead of heading the route I had already laid out.
You don't know me nor other killers, so to make accusations about people being dishonest makes you an ignorant person.
Sans the BP bonus I'd take Discordance any day of the week. Sans the BP bonus I'd take Whispers any day of the week. Sans the BP bonus I'd take Spies from the Shadows any day of the week. Etc, etc.
As a matter of fact it should be obvious that the reason it has both BP bonus and the aura is because without the BP bonus the perk would be underpowered garbage. Without the aura, killers would still use BBQC at great detriment to their competitiveness just for the BP.
I absolutely hate having to give up a meaningful perk for it but I can not justify playing a match and receiving half of what I could have.
No one wants nerfs to it because just the same as Beast of Prey, Thrill of the Hunt, and Distressing, if it had no side effect it would be nothing more than a glorified offering and that while efficient for farming BP is dull in terms of gameplay.

We all know that Demogorgon is gonna be nerfed upon its release. They did it with Plauge and the Ghostface, so why not Demogorgon? There's alot of talk between whether Demogorgon is Overpowered, underpowered, or it's in a good spot for both downsides and rewards for good play.
The Demogorgon is being made to where its supposed to disrupt the current meta, not being OP, and this is why.
[tedtalk music plays]
The Demogorgon's portals, if placed in good spots, can remove the need for the perk, "Barbecue and Chili", and possibly, "Whispers". The perk "Whispers" is a reliable perk to count on whenever its the beginning of the game, and both the killer and survivors are trying to get the game going. Now, Portals aren't the best for the beginning of the game as they don't start placed out for you, so "Whispers" is still reliable to use, but if portals are placed near generators and your too far away to be in Whispers range, you can see if the survivors are near that generator. Now, it doesn't completely remove the need for "Whispers", it just mildly lessens it's ability to track upon long distances.
"Barbecue and Chili", however, is currently the best tracking perk in the game for killers as it allows the killer to practically see every survivor in the game that's farther than 40 meters from the hooked survivor for 4 seconds. Now, if the Demogorgon's Portals have not been destroyed, and they are placed near Generators, they can instantly give away their position to the killer, putting them in a terrible position. Now, I'm not saying that "Barbecue and Chili" and "Whispers" are worthless to killers now, I'm just giving you the more risky, and a bit less effective alternatives to hopefully save a perk alot for you so you can get more use out of other perks instead of the same, regular build you've been using for 4 weeks or longer.
These are mainly suggestions and do not obstruct your ability to play the game. I don't make the meta, only the community does.
But in all honesty, we need a buff to the perk, "MindBreaker".
Not a single time since it released did I ever choose BBQC for it's 4 seconds of vision. I have always chose it and still do for the 100% bonus BP. It will remain that way until I have all perks t3 for all killers.
Frankly, it's a lame perk. The bonus xp should be given based on the number of SWF in match so one shouldn't feel forced to always use it.

Doing gens actually counters literally nothing. It is a way for other survivors to utilize the killer's lack of attention. But if screw up early on, or a Meyers finds a sweet spot, or even a Ghost Face, and I'm on the hook in less than a minute, what's to stop me from just mashing RB till I die to leave the match? Like, at that point, I don't care about the other survivors because I'm no longer having fun. If 3 gens get done while I'm sitting there doing nothing with no chance at earning BP, I'm not gonna just stay there for the benefit of other survivors unless I'm playing SWF, which I never do.
Tl;Dr: Doing gens is meaningless for the person on the hook. So why even remain in the game?
Hmm. At some point in your argument are you going to make a case as to why another should save you? You've already declared that when you aren't having fun you suicide or leave the match. Somehow I don't think you want others to do that should they be the one who messed and were caught. Your post rings selfish and ironic. The irony being that you want someone else to save you, an unselfish act, while threatening or at least insinuating not doing so will end with you being selfish.
Here is a solution. Get good and don't get caught. Then you won't get face camped. There is no entitlement to BP. You play skillfully and earn it or you do without. It's the same for killer and survivor.

It's way more complicated than it seems. Not all groups are super coordinated and trying to win as fast as possible, most are just a couple friends hanging out and chatting while they play a game. How would you suggest doing so in a way that would unnecessarily punish the casual groups that are not trying as hard as possible to win? And how could that not be avoided by queuing solo at the same time as your friends?
Let not perfect be the enemy of good. A problem doesn't have to be completely removed to be alleviated to a large degree. If you are only ever going to use the absolute most incompetent SWF group as the baseline for balancing then you simply have no intention of ever bringing that mode in line. Which by the way was a stated goal with solo survivor buffs, being able to buff the killer to compensate.
Yet you do not use the worst killer imaginable as a baseline for balancing them. Casual is literally a term thrown around to invoke a sense of sympathy for survivor side propaganda because it has no definable aspect. Is a pro SWF group bored and playing sub par casual? Is a group of terrible's trying their utmost casual?
Simply NOT facilitating group queue adds enough disincentive to alleviate the majority of the problem.

I wouldn't say murder affects all humans equally.
If a murderer attacked one person and this person had no relation to you whatsoever and you had no knowledge of this person's existence, the effect would be less for you than it would be for that person's immediate family.
Older people are consistently taken advantage of by scammers of various types because they don't know they're being taken advantage of.
Is it the fault of the older people not knowing better? Maybe, but the morality lies in the scammer's choice to take advantage of that lack of knowledge.
It's a stretch, but the same can be said for battle passes and similar micro transactions.
Yes, but if you and I are murdered we both endure the negative effect of being dead. If you and I both purchase a battle pass the outcome is not assured to be the same, particularly negative.
I purchase the DOTA2 International battle pass every year and spend hundreds of dollars on various cosmetics tied to it. For me it's a good investment because I love the game and I get my money's worth in enjoyment. For others the idea is insane.
I will say though, for DBD, the cosmetics are simply not as relevant to where I would spend that money.

Video game addiction is not some abstract, extremely rare disorder, it is very common. As a developer you absolutely have a moral obligation to consider what adverse effects your product can have on people that already have an addiction, maybe not legally, not yet, but if you put profits above mental health issues are you a horrible human being
If you are developing anything that other people have contact with or use you are very much responsible for any damages your product causes, physically and mentally, morally and in many cases legally. Video games are "lucky" to be largely ignored by lawmakers for now so they can get away with a lot of bullshit but that doesn't mean that it's okay or will stay that way
For something to be considered moral/immoral requires whatever is in question to affect all humans equally. Murder as an example is morally reprehensible because it can affect all humans equally.
When an outlier is affected do to its own choices it is not a moral issue. You could make this argument for absolutely anything. A blender could be labeled an immoral product because somewhere on earth is a mentally unstable person who will intentionally stick their fingers in said blender to harm themselves.

Sure he does. He's humanoid, he serves an entity in their version of hell, and his ability to summon hooks almost creates a power by itself, the ability to hook a survivor where they fall. At least it has some play to design a power around with the level of psionic ability he has access too. With the love of suffering and torment he goes on about he would certainly be the Entity's favorite.

What do you mean what did I expect? I expect that the devs probably shouldn't create perks that force solo survivors, who are already at a disadvantage, to be further disadvantaged if their teammate(s) decide to run certain perks. Now it'll be even worse. At the very least they could have made it so the % decrease caused by survivors in Broken status only applies to that survivor. Imagine being teamed up with a 3 man SWF using No Mither against Thanatophobia? Might as well DC immediately.
No Mither is a poorly designed perk and it being dubbed as "hard mode" is a cop out.
Oh stop with the poor solo survivors schtick. They aren't poor or disadvantaged. It's just that SWF is so braindead broken it makes solo survivors look poor in comparison.

Don't care. Take them all. If I want you dead you are still dying and when you don't have enough low ranked killers you'll wait in the queue and change it back. @DexyIV said:
Killers that are good don't typically need to tunnel survivors off hooks, and honestly it's more beneficial if you don't. Watch streamers that tend to not tunnel off hooks and you'll see what I mean.
Killers that are "good" on streams are typically showing videos of them owning boosted survivors. I find much more competition in mid tier ranks than they provide. I mean you see videos of rank 1 survivors that run in straight lines away as they hear a Nurse blinking.
Versus good survivors many of those "good" killers tunnel and proximity camp or play one of the killers that has range and map presence to avoid needing to do so. They are also almost always using their best addons they saved while not playing on stream for a more impressive outcome whereas most killers on any given game are playing more budget oriented.
There are certainly exceptional players but the notion the killers have to meet that bar while survivors are exempt from having their gameplay balanced by 4 man pro swf squads is laughable. I've also seen one of the best killers in this community blow off trying to win against one of the best survivor squads because they weren't their to "have fun". The reality is he knew it didn't matter whether he tried or not they were going to wreck him because they are broken as a group.

Oh good grief, you just need to GIT GUD.
Now if the devs only cared about survivors fun then there'd have been ZERO as in ZERO none nada zilch nerfs to survivors.
There'd have been ZERO nada zip zero zilch buffs to killers, no changes to maps to make them more killer friendly.
Infinites would never have been removed.
Sabo would've never been touched.
Cow Tree would never have been nerfed.
Pallets would never have been reduced.
The exhaustion changes would never have been done.
The healing changes would never have come.
Windows would never have been nerfed.
Shrimp Boat would never have been moved.
Crow Bombs would never have been implemented.
Minimum hooks and minimum distances between hooks would never have happened.
Moon offerings would still be in the game.
Backwater swamp would still have lots of tall grass.
Jungle gyms would still be more plentiful.
Thompson house would never have gotten a hook upstairs.
Macmillan Estates Groaning Warehouse would still be an infinite looping spot.
Maps would never have been made brighter to make it easier on killers.
The following killer reworks would never have happened - Trapper, Hag, Wraith, and soon to be Freddy.
That's just a small portion of the changes but according to you those changes obviously never happened because the devs only care about the survivors fun.
I think the queues made those changes a requirement. You can't sell the bully simulator game when 4 man bully groups have to wait 30 minutes for a match. They are changing what they can to pacify the complaints while absolutely avoiding touching SWF. None of those changes make SWF any less broken with VOIP.
The infinite one you listed is idiotic gameplay. Do you really believe this game had a future when streams show an infinite loop as gameplay? I mean seriously? I'm surprised anyone played during that time. It's akin to tic tac toe tournament edition. I came afterwards but watched old streams with it. I would question the intelligence of anyone that did that for hours on end. Sorry, not sorry.

I would think it not a big deal if they had a disabled player send something in so a "specific" item could be given to their account or a separate software could be used, perhaps for color blind people who have to hunt like a T-Rex as killer. BTW, I know why no T-Rex bones were ever discovered in the Midwestern U.S., because they can't hunt anything in the freaking corn!
Any ways, the player base is so toxic that no game mode will ever be favorable to account for survivors with disabilities. I know because my wife is legally blind and struggles greatly with skill checks and running from killers, yet she is tunneled to death almost every game because SWF and all.
Therefore, I would love to see exceptions made and created for these players. I think it would say a lot for the community and especially the developers to be willing to go out of their way for those players. I'd rather see that then a new killer this summer.
That's a little unfair to paint the community as the reason disabled people aren't given free wins or cheat items to play. I mean if I claim that I'm blind and hard of hearing do I get an item that cuts all noise in game sans the survivor footsteps or brightens the screen to where I have no trouble seeing? Would it be right to claim anyone who doesn't go lock step in okaying that as toxic?
Sheesh.
If these items do not exist it's because the need for them is so rare typically and that depending they may be impossible to even remotely balance.
Far fewer people have these disabilities and play games than people that have no disabilities and play games. Like probably 1-100 for something absolutely game affectingly bad. Having poor vision from being a dedicated gamer doesn't qualify you as disabled and in need of special accommodation. With that in mind, expecting a dev team to have solutions for every possible affliction and blaming competitive gaming communities as the reason they do not is ridiculous.
I also take note you stated "survivors with disabilities" and not "players". I can only assume you have an issue with a killer given something that makes ending the survivors game easier and that the thought was untenable.

The whole point behind doing that is BECAUSE it makes solos like an ad-hoc SWF group.
This then allows you to buff Killers so that they can handle a SWF group without screwing over solos (since they would be buffed too with changes like these).
From the PoV of SWF no additional information or power is added thus the optimal survivor will be exactly as effective, however if we then give the Killers buffs while making it plausible for Solos to play optimally we can make it so that optimal play is equally strong for both sides.
Basically lets say a team of solos is a 1.
A team of SWF is a 4.
Right now Killers are a 2. So they have a big advantage against solo's but a HUGE disadvantage against SWF.
If we make Killers a 4 then SWF is balanced but then suddenly Solos are #########
If we make Killers a 1 then Solos are balanced but Killers are ######### against SWF
Thus in order to balance the game we first must make Solos as strong as SWF somehow. Totem UI's are one way to do that.
Basically take any info that SWF would communicate to everyone 95% of the time "I just cleansed a totem, I'm doing gens, Gah I'm being chased!" ect ect ect and give it to solo's. And then buff Killers to have the power to deal with that level of coordination and you will make the game MUCH more balanced
That's all rhetoric man. They have no intention of buffing killers to challenge SWF. There is not a single precedent we can point to that says "Yep, here is where they did that". What it is, is making changes for SWF that complain about non SWF being weaker members. If it were sincere they would boost killers to deal with a 4 man SWF. Frankly, this whole solo SWF argument is a façade anyway. A 4 man SWF is 4 solo players on VOIP. There isn't a buff in the world they are going to offer than beats instant communication. Making every player that efficient is only going to have your killer population decline. Nothing more. The buffs will come giving out free intel to the already overpowered setup but solos will still die and it will be declared as unnecessary to buff killers accordingly leaving them with stronger SWF teams and now what little surprises they could bring further reduced into linear, easy to beat, schemes.

Thanks for the report.
What I can see from our bug database is that it has been fixed for the next update. We just tested our internal build and it's not reproducible on it. Keep us posted if it still happens after the next update goes live. The sad part is when the change was announced Behav10r was told precisely how it would be exploited. I don't understand the policy of having the information ahead of it clearly laid out and ignoring it only to have to fix it later.
I remember on a stream one of the devs, Mathieu I believe, saying if it becomes a problem we will handle it. I mean did anyone seriously believe it wouldn't be exploited? You do it with 4 people you have three great games and sacrifice 1 for the group rotating through the team.
Here is one laid out for you well ahead of time. If you put a totem counter in the game, every game all of the totems will be destroyed. Not some of the time, not occasionally, but all of the time. It's a clear reminder to all of the survivors go kill off the hexes for an ez win. It removes any confusion from the circumstances which a killer is reliant on. It turns solo queues into efficient adhoc SWF members for 2-3 man groups. It turns 4 solo queues into a 4 man SWF. Particularly considering you want empathy as a base kit.
Do you understand what Depip squad does with no VOIP and simply understanding and playing to maximum efficiency? You are considering adding UI elements that make doing so easy. One of your moderators, Peanits, watched the same stream where one of the best players in your community threw the game versus them because he knew there was no way to win. He feigned it not mattering because they are not there to have fun.
Newsflash, no one is here to have fun in that sense. It is a competitive asymmetrical game and fun comes in the form of embarrassing and destroying your opponent for 99% of the player base.
Now is it necessary to watch this unfold for a few months first? Do we need to witness the kill average drop from every killer facing a SWF every match before we spend months deciding on how to somehow boost the baseline of killers to compete? Do we realize how limiting that is going to be to future perk creation when whatever perk you release has to be completely immune to VOIP or a "please insert brain here UI element"?
Either you guys simply don't care or you need to hire someone who can pose these questions to you when you sit around discussing what to add next.

I voted No, It feels like too much information and puts the killer at an even more disadvantage. This would help solo survivors though with totem info that swf may share. to give this info to survivors you would need to buff totems for killers to benefit them somehow. You and many others see this as a "one step buff for solos and nothing for killers" change, but in fact with this exclusive solo survivor buff (swf won't get stronger with that information, they already share it) we are one step closer to close the gap between solo and swf and as a result we can buff killers without completely make the solo experience to a hell ride. We need to think 2 steps ahead, even if the first step sounds bad for killers, at the end killers will benefit form that.
Because I think the only reason why the devs are holding back to buff killers so they can compete with sweaty swf groups is that they don't want to hurt solos to much. Hopefully that makes sense and you change your vote to "Yes"
Except the killer buffs are a load of horse feces and will never come. That's what all the killers already know. It's all hot air and pillow talk. Buff the killers to deal with SWF first, then the solos to match the SWF, then we can talk. And by the way it will buff SWF. The 2 and 3 man SWF that wish their solo queue teammates were more useful? Yeah, they just received a buff. It's funny there is all these solo buffs being talked about yet not a single iota of information about what killer buffs are coming to compensate. Anyone have an inkling or is it something that will be pondered for years while in the interim the killers are expected to just endure? Never mind the fight that will have to be made for every crumb of compensation as the newly buffed survivors fight to keep their ez mode. Yeah, that's the ticket. What a crock and the shills are out in full force trying to help it gain traction. But 2-3 men swf groups are still not that strong compared to 4 man SWF groups. I always take reference to 4 man groups because these are the death squads who are making the killers life to a hell. My overall killer buff idea would be a second objective for survivors. For now, a second objective would work against those swf "death squads" but against solos it's heavy. We all want the second objective for survivors, I just think it's currently not practical for Solos (obviously it depends on how the second objective is). No, you just didn't think anyone was smart enough to highlight that about 2-3 mans or you yourself never considered it. The rest, whatever.
Why you bring that up then? You sound upset
No sweetie I just don't like you. So when you have an argument you can't just dismiss and you suddenly switch up to a more reasoned and polite approach I don't start liking you again.
You don't get to dismiss the 2-3 man SWF buff with some meandering about them not being 4 man when your ideas turn the odd man or even 4 individuals into a ad hoc 4 man.
Your ideas are bad and ill thought out. Simple.
Oh It's you, I wasn't even paying attention to your name lol. Don't worry, I will keep ignoring you you salty poor little kid. Next pls.
You can ignore me all you want, the community doesn't and you have ineffectual communication skills. Your arguments are so easy to punch holes into as to be amusing. So next that.

You will never be the first to leave or get cut short of bp opportunities. As a survivor, if caught first, your options are limited because of so many variables. Killer loadout, randoms altruism, etc.
So making bp as killer is absolutely easier. And since they have 2 or 3 (some 1 or 0) pink addons, and one mori at pink, as opposed to multiple items and addons, I can see the arguement. You ever play killer games with your perk setup as BBQC, ToTH, Distressing and Beast of Prey?
Havent unlocked Beast of prey as teachable yet, I knew I was missing one. That on someone with a speed limiter or wraith with the beast would be stupid points.
TBH I used to play this setup and only BBQC stacks. The rest just help you max out faster. Essentially , unless syour build calls for it BBQC is the worthwhile one as the rest just reward you the same with more work.
True. The others make it easier work while losing other perk slots, but BBQC actually boosts it. I usually only run TOTH with ruin or devour hope, but I figured for the sake of the topic mention it.
ToTH and Distressing both have a sub-effect of slowing games down slightly to be honest. Distressing causes survivors to back of a gen sooner assuming you are closer than you are while ToTH lights the totems. I haven't found a survivor yet that can resist a lit totem even if they do not see a hex effect. But Distressing also makes it harder to find survivors at the same time harming your sacrifice score, typically. Beast of Prey is deceptively good for killers who are not good with mind games. I think it's somewhat underrated.

Hopefully that makes sense and you change your vote to "Yes" :) Except the killer buffs are a load of horse feces and will never come. That's what all the killers already know. Individual killer addon adjustments that require blood web purchases are not baseline improvements.
Why do you think Killers make more bloodpoints BHVR likes you more? It is part of the core mechanic.
Individual power adjustments with absolutely minimal adjustment such as hag drawing a trap slightly fast is only moderately more.
My friend @Vietfox does quite well wrecking SWF as the Hag
Sorry, solo players are not a crumb more important or pity worth than the already taxed killer population.
( Do the killers need to go on DR Phil)
Let them play killer until the adjustments are made.
Longer killer lobby times sounds great!! See if BHVR is hiring someone for their BIG IDEAS.
Because they are on a timer and have to play actively under stress (though an argument for duress could be made) the entire match. A survivor can slow crouch the entire game with every perk centered around stealth and take as long as they want to achieve their goal. They only rush because the community is full of ADHD suffering Dunning Krugers.
Your friend Vietfox isn't owning SWF groups worth their salt any more than anyone else is. We can set him up to play Depip squad (which is nothing more than a SWF group playing intelligently) and watch him fail just like everyone else.
If more people play killer the queues become shorter. Win/win. There is no shortage of survivors and if there were you'd have your recent "hide the SWF, all join at the same time" change. But rational thought prevailed and they had second thoughts about forcing SWF on their smaller community after Mathieu had a flashback of that internationally humiliating loss to the South Koreans.

several Killers and their addons got reworked to improve them and their power....Ahem you are using the avatar of one of those.

Solo Players i'm sure will love that. P.S lots of killers already can play against SWF.And by the way it will buff SWF. The 2 and 3 man SWF that wish their solo queues were more useful? Yeah, they just received a buff.
I actually agree with you here it will give the SWF who don't keep track of it and go in like a SWAT team more info.

A handful of top ranked streamers with top tier killers can play SWF to a degree and depending, such as Scott Jund, one of the best, basically threw a game versus depip squad because he knew there wasn't much he could do in response. He feigned not caring because they weren't there to "have fun".
Much of the other streams you watch are cherry picked games versus potatoes who I could only wish played in the mid rank games I play in. Watching rank 1s run in a straight line away from a Nurse with not a single cut back during the blink? Yeah. -

MRose said:SWF currently have to communicate what totems are done and retain that information. Now they don't have to do anything. Going from Doing Something to Doing Nothing to get the same info? A buff.
You keep saying "I'm a killer main" like that means anything...
That changes nothing for a SWF group, though. We could all be on generators and ask each other how many totems we've cleansed. If you have to stop doing what you're doing to think deeply about the single digit number of totems you've cleansed I would agree with you, but you don't have to. You can keep doing things while you say a number to your buddies.
It doesn't matter. You deserve no free information in this game without a perk cost. There is already a myriad of free information in the hud that shouldn't be there. Yes, we know SWF is broken. It's why they are dodged and your company is stuck between trying to force them on people and being scared to death your queues will dry up. That's why they didn't do the last "join at the same time" change.
Turning every survivor into a SWF isn't a workaround. People don't dodge because it is or isn't a SWF they dodge because of what happens in the game when it is. If everyone plays like a SWF there is no difference.
There is no coding fix that forces your smaller community to willingly endure bullying and taunting for the satisfaction of the larger. It's pretty simple to understand.
So if you make it easier for that to occur you won't have any killers beyond those that make a living streaming the games. Your average joe is not going to sit around playing DbD enduring that. Giving free information like totem count that makes it that much easier to do by the coordinated teams is such a terrible idea. What you give to solos is given to teams making it that much easier. Almost braindead. -

Quit crying, as if a totem counter will make Solos at the same level like a special force swf group. You don't care about balance, you don't care about solos.
No, we don't care about solo's. Just like SWF doesn't care about killers. Deal with it.

I sure do. Self Care changed, Sloppy Butcher changed, pallet adjustments, DS is going poof. I can understand it feels good to deny you are being slapped in the face when you can't change it but that loud echo, the sting, and red mark are objective reality.
All the DS change is Boost Survivors who didn't need to run DS to escape. Now they can equip it or not and if you tunnel as a killer YOU need to make a choice. The only way you will succeed in this game with your attitude is if 3 start on the hook and 1 slugged down starting the trial. They can continue to make killer Easier but survivors will always adapt. You are also the one asking for people to stop posting about Nerfing your Precious NOED. Don't worry NOOB they will keep it for players just like you.
I don't ask anyone to stop posting about nerfing NOED. The arguments brought are easily refuted to the point it's a sport to do so and the devs just giggle as well. You equipping DS means I get my BBQC stack regardless, I can camp you out of the game if I desire, I can mori you if I choose to tunnel, and with Enduring you are looking at less than a 2 second stun. More importantly it means there won't be any prolonged early game chases which means more pressure all around. Spread'em wide, survivor.
