Sloppy Butcher, Prove Thyself, Botany Knowledge, Thanatophobia, Coulrophobia, etc. Are support perks for me. They give a bonus to certain actions.

I think support perks need a big buff on both sides. People should have a hard choice of strong perks that allow different playstyles. Not those 5 meta perks, while the rest is garbage.Orion said:@Tsulan said:

Killer perks need to be buffed to the point where Survivor perks are, and vice-versa. Additionally, self-sustaining perks need to be changed completely - the Killer is supposed to be the self-sustaining one; not the Survivors.

Well the numbers are obviously to low. Otherwise we wouldn't have so many people disconnecting. We need a casual mode.powerbats said:@Tsulan said:

Devs never released actual numbers as far as I know. They won't so that people won't try and game the system but if it's like others it's based upon % of games played within x time frame.
Now if you change the depip to only 1 you actually won't increase the dc rate in that sense since if they do dc more that makes their account get flagged.
Let me explain that last part if you use the example I gave of % and you on average dc x times in x games but all of the sudden you spike. Well then you're probably going to get flagged by the system that says hey x is having way more disconnects than is normal for their account history.
That flag is in addition to the dc threshold flag that can occur if you break the threshold for % in x games x time.

@DeadByFlashlight
I don't complain when a killer is nearby because survivors are swarming around me, i blame the survivors, especially when i'm running kindred
It's even worse, when they don't do anything.
Had a match where the killer camped me. 2 swf players concentrated on a single gen and the last survivor ran in circles on the other end of the map, while the killer was holding my hand.I always suicide on hook if that is the case.
There is no point in buying them time if they dont do anythign anyway^^
It's surprising how some survivors react to a hook. Some crouch near the hook, because they hear a far heartbeat.
I go in yolo style, when the survivor is about to struggle or die. I have BT equipped and after that point it's up to the survivor. Some are mad about this. -

Ruin is weak. Sadly many killers think that it's worth taking, just to get 30 seconds of extra game time.Too true. The numbers on Survivor perks and Killer perks are switched around - whereas Survivor perks save or grant massive bonuses, Killer perks make a small difference, if not an unnoticeable one. Ruin, for example, is so weak that Survivors can elect to ignore it and still win. If a Killer ignores, say, Self Care, for example, their hits become irrelevant.
In the meantime, survivors only use perks that give a 100% speed bonus and ignore 25% speed bonus perks. -

There is no real pressure, since the clock only starts when a gen pops. Survivors can 99% all gens and then pop them in short succesion, IF the killer camps the boxes. Her power feels just like a mild annoyance. That´s probably the reason why she got 2 powers.
The counter does indeed stop during a chase but she just backs off and then lets the timer continue to countdown. Then when you get too close to a box rinse and repeat or hook you to go toy with someone else.
So yes there's real pressure especially if she waits until the 1st or 2nd gen is done and how often do survivors 99 all the gens and expect the killer isn't going to come damage them?
So they pop all the gens and the people with boxes on their heads just got screwed over because hey the gens all popped and there go their timers.
Have you ever faced a really good Amanda at rank 1 then if you aren't aware of that happening?

Be honest, have you EVER felt pressured while having the bear trap on your head?
I never. The counter has always ticked down once a gen pops with a trap on your head so yes the counter does work during that time. I've always felt pressure since at rank 1 the Amanda's aren't stupid and always keep the pressure on and they also wait until 1 gen is done before putting a trap on.
I also have horrible RNG when I have a trap since boxes are always far apart and it's almost always the 3rd through the 5th box that unlocks my trap. Most of the time however i'm dead before i get he trap off or the Amanda tunnels me until she downs me or it blows up.
But when I'm Amanda boxes spawn right next to gens usually and most of the time it's 1st box 1st attempt they take them off.
I would like to see keys you bring in be able to unlock the jigsaw box but it takes half the key's durability to do so. If you have a toolbox you get a chance to break into the jigsaw box for the key but it also takes 1/2 of the tool boxes durability.
Those would both spice some things up for survivors and Amanda because people would think twice before using those items when they know it's her.
You could even change Slippery Meat to work on Jigsaw boxes as well and perhaps more people would take that to break up the emta somewhat. Although that's situational similar to Calm Spirit.

I accept all items cause I know how frustrating it is to bring a toolbox cause you want to do that damn Sabotage daily and you get dodged.I only dodge for high ping. Look how bright the game is, without being to bright.
That's only Disturbed Ward, the rest of the maps were darker than they are nowadays.
Disturbed Ward was a very bright map back in the days in comparison to the dark original Realms, it had the look of breaking dawn. The devs changed that with the lighting engine change and made it much darker.

Devs want to force a certain "fun" playstyle with the emblems, chase dailies and the bloodlust nerf.
Maybe they think running 3 minutes in circles is fun. -
Curious how killers say that they can't afford to hear music while survivors blast all kinds of music.
Almost as if one side is constantly stressed and the other one has a relaxing match. -
It wouldn't have a minimum range like MYC. Also it would give bonus bloodpoints. This would encourage more risky plays, where killers try to drag the survivor to the basement, because they get a real advantage over there.iceman2kx said:@Tsulan said:
My idea for monstrous shrine would be that it gives bonus points for hooks/sacrifices and injures survivors that unhook.

40 seconds might not seem like much, until you realize that's a half of generator worth of time they lost.
Hell, stack it with Thanaphobia for giggles. Your keeping them injured longer, might as well ripple that effect to the rest of the team and affect generator repair time too.
Don't forget, there's still a possible universal healing nerf coming that's going to compound this effect as well.
There are up to eight unhooks per game that leave a survivor injured after the unhook. If you're nearby, they'll run off and SC. Even if they are healed by the unhooker, that gives you 2-3 extra seconds to get back to the hook.
Every time you hit a bodyblocker, that's 5 extra seconds for them to heal.
2 people at a gen? Slap both then chase one. Another 5 seconds, and often you can end up downing both because they run to the same pallet to heal/loop.
Chasing one person and see another nearby? Slap the extra and continue the chase, or just switch targets. 5 seconds either way.
It's not perfect, and i won't deny it could use a buff. It's not worthless though, and it doesn't get destroyed less than a minute into the match.
I honestly can't believe that people are so used to get only tiny buffs for killers, that they are happy with a 5 second buff and even defend it.
It should be way longer. There is not a single rank 1 survivor out there, who would waste a perk slot for something that gives a 5 second boost. No one takes Proof Thyself, because other survivor perks give a 100% speed bonus. Survivors don't use Botany Knowledge, because it's 20% speed bonus is considered worthless. Slippery Meat? Meh, only doubles the amount of unhook attempts and increases the chance by 25%. Vigil, only 20% faster recovery, that is not worth taking, since the exhaustion nerf. Wake Up gives a 15% bonus for opening gates. Yeah how about no.
In the meantime, killers are stuck with Sloppy Butcher, Fire Up, Monstrous Shrine, PWYF, Brutal Strength and all those other perks that give a tiny bonus. And people behave like those really make a difference.
Killers will never have the power role in a 4vs1 game. As long as they conform with weak buffs. -
My idea for monstrous shrine would be that it gives bonus points for hooks/sacrifices and injures survivors that unhook.

Sloppy Butcher is really good. You need to use it on the right killer, with the right perk sets.
No, it´s not. It´s like Fire Up. The slight time bonus is not worth wasting a perkslot for.
Or is Prove Thyself suddenly meta?
I have caught many players with Nurses calling, Sloppy Butcher, Thanatophobia together. You have every right to differ, but it's still the best on killers like Freddy, Nurse, and even Trapper with his ultra-rare addon.
The one perk that is carrying your build is Nurse Calling. Sloppy Butcher and Thanatophobia are worthless. Hell, even Coulthrophobia is worthless in it´s current state, because no red rank survivor would heal inside the terror radius of the killer. Because Nurse Calling exists.
That's why you don't use NC, instead use Distresssing. You can force survivors to leave an area because it's so impossible to heal near you. It's like NC except where NC they have the option to heal near you and be seen, with CP they don't even have the option to heal near you. If you combo CP/SB/TP then Self Care takes a full minute (like 58 seconds). That's insane. NC might show you where they are but if it's a group heal or they have a medkit then there are times they can heal before you get to them. With CP that doesn't happen, they just can't heal.
If I played more killers with normal TR I'd use CP a lot more. But I play Huntress, Hag, Freddy, and Pig, first 3 have smaller TR and the last has built in Insidious so it's less useful on them. However, it is still good for Freddy because it turns lullaby into DW in terms of heal speed, and turns DW into "there is no healing" mode.

Killer is doing his objective as the survivor does.
As long as survivors camp and tunnel a gen that is nearly finished, the killer can do the same.
Wait so now survivors are camping a gen instead of gen rushing? The killer has a choice to leave the camped person.
The survivor has to stay on that gen to finish it or get chased by the killer coming near it or to save that person. If there's a Devour hope up or the gates are powered.
There's a huge difference where 1 has a choice while the other in order to complete their objective has to stay and focus that 1 thing down.
When a killer moves around they can freely decide where they want to go in order to do their objectives and can roam the map taking a direct route to a gen.
The survivor can't always go the most direct route,e specially if it's directly in the open.
If a killers runing dh then they wont camp because they get stronger by non camping add in the speed boos and insta downs to the Mori as the tier goes up people become less ob gens and more get that totem or we are gonna die
That was my original proposal to solve camping. Turn DH into a normal perk. Killers would instantly stop camping and i have a gut feeling, that the amount of teabagging would also drop.
DH normal?
I'd love it, but you can bet your Bill beard it'd get nerfed the first week.I don´t know. It sure would change the way survivors go for unhooks. But what i mean is that the devs are probably not looking into applying more unhook pressure. No, they don´t want survivors to feel pressured. Only the rodeo clown who hosts the game should feel pressured.
