Because... why not? That movie isn't all just light heartedness and christmas cheer. Maybe it's because I like the movie and thought of a way to combine two things I like into one?
It's just a concept...
"Looks like the kids are tearing up my guts, and somehow got me onto the hook. Oh well!"
Yeah I kinda doubt people will like this. They are essentially cartoon characters being brought into real life.
It's ######### up further by the fact that A: The Killer is a group of children. CHILDREN. 10-year olds or younger even! And all bloodied from attacking survivors. And B: They are pretty much the "Trick-or-treaters" in Halloween town, and you want them to kill people...
If you want a killer that ACTUALLY has a mindset to kill, you're better off using "Oogie Boogie"
-
Yeah, tbh, a friend recommended that I lvl Claudette up first.
No, I did NOT enjoy the results of Self care.
Seriously, a lot of guides (I watched alot of them as a newbie), had told me to go for Self Care.
Yeah, It wasn't until a few months later when I had learned Self Care is actually absolutely shite, and doing more harm than good.
To be honest, I play a more selfish side, usually doing things that only benefited me instead of others usually. Trust me, it was effective, and I survived loads of games because of this mindset.
Getting back on track: I wish I had never gotten Self Care. WGLF was definitely the better choice, and me not going for it was a bad idea. In fact, I've essentially wasted a full month of grinding for a perk that's #########.
-
..... Y tho?
It's a bloody Christmas/Halloween movie, and it's for children.
Just.... Y tho.
-
The most common reason why I drop DBD more often is because so I can avoid more TOXIC SWF's. Seriously, I don't mind only one person doing it, but an entire team out to get you, and YOU'RE the one being chased away? No thank you, I'd rather play something else.

Hi, I'd like to say that on rare occasions Adrenaline has little to no use, although then again, that can be said for most perks.
Also, Adrenaline does not have a longer haste duration, it is the same 3 seconds as all other haste based exhaustion perks.
It is a meta perk that is somewhat countered by NOED.
Nope. Bullsh#t.
Adrenaline has 5 secs of Sprint Burst. Read the description more carefully please.
-
Quite useful for slowing down the game slightly. A tad bit ineffective against high ranks, but it's still good.
-
Overreact much?
Just 6 secs max. Manage your teleports.
You can wait a few secs ;)

You done misread it
The Deep wounds timer will go down if you are asleep as Freddy will not have a TR when you are asleep and it will only tick down when outside the TR
No I'm pretty sure I read it right.
It must've been how you meant it. Thought you meant Endurance itself wouldn't activate.
Instead you meant that Deep Wounds keeps going down even in Freddy's TR in dream.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Freddy ignores new styptic since it applies deep wounds you're still downed anyway because no TR
Thats 1 reason.
False.
Deep wounds will still activate.
You are given ENDURANCE which applies it, and will activate upon being hit IN ANY WAY, regardless if you're Oblivious or not. So it will activate in dream successfully.
BT gives Endurance itself in tr. And it doesn't activate while asleep.
Laddie, please read the effects of the perks and status effects.
-
I bring it more than 90% of the time.
On most killers, I don't have it yet, still have to grind.
So kinda forces me to play new killers at the cost of no BBQ.
I will sometimes swap it out to try out a new perk.
-
I break bones for BP.
Don't care if it wastes time, I need my BP to level up me killer/survivors.
-
Good god, you hafta learn to counter him.
You can't just dodge automatically, you need to learn it.
You can't run loops like a pro for your first time, you need to learn it.
You can't just sprint into Clown gas without being slowed, you need to learn to dodge.
EVERYTHING in this game you must learn. You, however cry for nerfs on perfectly fine killers simply because you refuse to learn to counter them.
Instead of a "nerf this" mindset in your tiny head called your "brain", how about you do a 100 IQ move and ACTUALLY LEARN THIS GAME?
-
HA! Amatuers.
-
Survivor: *Dies on hook becuz of non-altruistic teammates
Also Survivor: "u camped"
Me, with no retort:
-
Handing out candy.
While freaking them a little bit as myers.
I'll probably roam around as Myers. But regardless.
-
Ghostface with Ghostface makup.
They'll never tell the difference!
-
Nice
-
Ok, so I don't think I noticed this until now, but Adept myers.
First, his perks revolve around leaving one person alive to utilize their effects.
Second, Play with your food actively punishes Myers for attacking for any reason.
Third, Dying light before being reworked was the odd one out, which promoted tunneling where his 2 other perks were against it.
That means that you're leaving a single annoying survivor alive, with a perk loudout that contradicts it's entire theme of "leave the survivor alive", and having to do a 4k in general from all of that.
-
People are more likely to disconnect against a killer using an offering that seperates survivors, because it's hidden.
And they think it's mori time.
-
Only when I feel I am underperforming. Preferably Balanced or Dead Hard.
I tend to run Immersive builds, but I put in exhaustion perks to assist myself in escaping quickly.
-
When a survivor is salty asf becuz they lost. Throw the "you Tunnelled/Camped", leave.
-
@Hoodied said:
I do that actually to make it look like a real pallet
I do that myself.
You have to bamboozle those survivors, make them think they're real.
But if they LEGIT respecc fake pallets. Like, no jukes? Yeah it is funny.
Also:
-
I am curious to see how this will play out.
Just remove the visibility while in phase, the removal of sounds would work well enough as a nerf. No need for the addition of making her ability essentially useless due to survivors seeing her periodically.
Still: I am curious to see how Spirit will now seem to work if this actually gets implemented. Maybe a wee bit excited. Not bad lad.
-
"Don't tunnel" they said.
"It wouldn't trigger" they said.
Didn't stop me from not tunneling and STILL getting my ass ds'd because of your ridiculously long timer.
-
I would do it by perk.
But unfortunately I have never mori'd someone ever.
Not once, I'm not even joking.
I'm close to Rancor with Spirit tho.
-
I am ######### at looping so I rely on immersiveness to avoid chases.
Hard to do if you're always groaning AND downed in one hit.
-
We already have a "Clown". No need for more.

Your sacrifices call upon the Entity to corrupt the minds of survivors
Every time a survivor is hooked, gain a token
1 Tokens: Hooked and Downed Survivors gain the blindness status effect
2 Tokens: Unhooking takes 250% longer and you are notified at the start of the unhook
4 Tokens: Survivors suffer a 20% hindered status effect when not in chase
7 Tokens: Survivors cannot exit through the exit gates or the hatch, the totem reveals itself as a lit totem.
This hex totem disguises itself as a dull totem.
Jeezus! 250% slower unhook? And you're notified about it at the start of it?!
Permanent Hindered during chases?!
And survivors can't even escape?!!
Absolutely not. Nope, go the ######### back to planning, this is way too op.
The inclusion of it being disguised as a Dull totem just makes it worse.

@EldritchElise87 said:
it isnt OP by any stretch, so I wouldn't want it gone just because of people whining, but it could be reworked to encourage better killer plays.
@Forceful_Spork said:
No. Leave NOED as is. It's perfectly fine, and has counterplay.
@mcNuggets said:
NOED is not overpowered, it's the only real counter to gen rush currently.
Only in noob ranks, NOED is actually a problem.
@Raven014 said:
NO. Noed is fine, it has counterplay. Just do the bones. Bring Detective's Hunch, Small Game, a Map, whatever, just do them, and you won't have to worry! So many survivors complain about one of the easiest perks to counter...
LMAOOOO
Do you not realize that this is a joke post?
Seriously, it should be obvious by the fact you can't even say "No" or even some KIND of "No". You definitely just skipped the main post itself because you thought I was being serious.
News flash: I'm making fun of those Entitled Survivors who want NOED removed.
-
Commited to this. I especially love reading entitled survivors/killers crying for nerfs because of a mistake they refuse to admit.
It's like watching a bad show and laughing at it.
But I mostly make discussions when I think of one to make.
-
Considering the now extremely large list of perks this game has, it might be better to have 6 a day. More chances, y'know? More choices.
-
A literal free win in your hands.
Regardless of state of the match.
-
For me? I ######### YEET out of a lobby if I'm greeted with someone wearing Legacy or prestige 2-3 clothing. I am not skilled enough to face them, ESPECIALLY LEGACY 3's! Better dodge than to deal with a bad game.
One time I went with it.
Worst game in my life. I'm not facing against those people.
-
NO! NO! NO!
Judith's Tombstone has the capability to instantly remove ALL SURVIVORS from the game!! And the first thought that came to you is to BUFF IT?!
Are you out of your diddly darn mind?!

Bup

Perk which enables you to throw down a pallet while down. Makes for pallet stun and heal plays when everyone is slugged.
Christ, slow down, don't just post individual ideas, do it in one post. Anyway, this will result in a perk being op, as you can just... Stun a killer regardless of your state. People are going to abuse it for their effects, not the intended use.
@AshleyWB said:
A perk which nullifies any status inflicted upon them e.g. blindness, exposed, mangled. At the expense of being in first person view.
Absolutely not. First: First person is too big a disadvantage, and is better as a game mechanic, NOT A PERK. And what does being in first person have to do with not being afflicted with Status effects?!
-
Had grown an unhealthy obsession to Halloween through Michael Myers in dbd, as I love playing him.
-
Either a ton of points, or at least a SINGLE kill.
One of these things is a win for me. Love it when it's both.
-
I don't see her status changing. She's still a very powerful killer.
Maybe a liiiiitle less powerful, but still effective nonetheless.
-
Bought Leatherface with the intent to get BBQ.
I ######### you not, the day after, the shrine reset, and I'm greeted with BBQ. And I had 2000 shards.
Guess what happens next.
-
The title made me laugh.
I ######### lost it at the "That purple guy from Minecraft"
Lmaoooo
-
Devs don't care.
Seriously, they don't.
Camping and Tunneling are weak, but oddly effective strategies.
-
Please tell me you're joking. You're making yourself sound like an entitled person.
Killers need the extra bp to assist in the grind. I've seen people complain about the aura reading, but never about the bp, so that's a first.
But really, why should you care about BP bonus? It doesn't effect the game itself at all, just the points you gain after the trial.
-
Brutal strength or Enduring + Spirit fury.
Come on, there are multiple ways to deal with pallets, you're jumping the gun here.
-
I have no idea what warranted a rework from a perfectly fine killer.
-
Bought No Mither.
Hex:Ruin was in the shrine at the time I bought No Mither.
Regretted it deeply.
I don't even know HOW I thought it was a good idea.

Heat Sense is just mostly to find someone who's hiding near a gen or something. Specific use case, but good if it's all you have.
Let me explain to you how many things Cold Blooded counters. Negates half the use of the key, hard counters object, alert, babysitter, and buckle up. I did think of adding that it also affected the auras of chests, totems, and generators, which would counter so many other perks that I do not care to list. Would you like me to change it so the aura isn't shown at all? Probably wouldn't since someone in your SWF using object. Cold Blooded and Heat Sense are made with the same philosophy; Make them good in some cases, but not in others. I don't like op perks. I like good perks, and I believe these 2 are, though a bit situational. And just saying, Cold Blooded is so much better than a lot of other perks. Cruel Limits, Shrine, Spies from the Shadows, the list goes on.
Hive Mind is just broken really, especially with that second effect. I guess it shows my idea of a perfect SWF team. 2 on gens, 1 on altruism, 1 on chase. I will probably just remove the second effect (reveals auras of all survivors within 10 seconds of the first effect activating, for future reference).
Thank you for your opinion.
Heat sense - If you want it to be used on survivors working on gens, use either Surveillance or Discordance. Both perks are more effective. Heat sense itself is way too weak, as 8 meters is essentially as far as you breathing down their neck. Extend the range, or rework their effects to be more gen focused.
Cold Blooded - An aura change and dim still doesn't help. It counters no perks. If the perk hides your aura at all times, it becomes op. As it cripples the Survivors' consanstantly with no drawback. Better off reworked.

At best A tier?
That's really good, why are you saying that like it's a complaint?
It does? Didn't mean it like that.
