Both. Favor killer more sometimes but both.
-
Classic SWF. The kind of people that heavily damage your happiness because they aren't happy either.
Lmao, I'm glad I've literally never insulted a killer. Even if I get tunnelled, camped, all that jazz. I understand that I didn't have the skill to avoid it, I say "gg", move on.
It takes alot of strain to not go full-blown rage.
-
Aw #########. Here we go again with these discussions.
You're complaining about a perk that can be completely negated. Why are you mad at this? It's painfully easy.
DO BONES, which has been said over, and over, and over again.
Are you blind to not get the piece of advice? Or are you too entitled to understand?

This is really wholesome.

I feel that the game ending system is unfair to all parties.
While running out of time The punished parties are only survivors.
Why is the killer not punished?
Survivors infringe on the actual killer.
But the killer who harasses the survivors by allowing time to pass
But the survivors were punished unilaterally unjustly
Or this game was created especially for the killer To have so many special privileges ?
I hope this topic will be considered. Thank you
Wow. This is certainly one of the most entitled posts I've seen in my time in dbd.
Well. As a famous man once said: "Aw #########. Here we go again."
The timer exists as a massive pressure point for survivors, to make them "gtfo or die". This is to make the end game significantly more exciting and give the killer a final chance to sneak in one more kill before the game ends.
The end game collapse does not actively punish survivors. You are merely under a time limit before you get a game over. In fact, the collapse gives survivors a slower clock if somebody is hooked or downed.
The endgame does not punish the killer in any regard, and the fact you are confused by that is mind-boggling. If the killer received a penalty during the collapse, then what is the point of collapse if killers don't get use out of it?
Again, the collapse is meant to force survivors out of the game, or possibly die. If the killer is chasing a survivor, (which wastes the timer), it's the killer literally doing his job to kill. Also, I've never seen a killer harass survivors in any regard, so I do think you're only projecting.
The killer has no special priviliges. The devs implemented it because before the creation of collapse, survivor's purposefully held the endgame hostage. They simply waited at the gate till they got bored, or when the killer came, which they are met by plenty of tbags. It was frustrating for killer, that's for sure.
The collapse is in no regard "unfair". It's design was intentional to force survivors out of the game. Also puts in more risk in the endgame when they save people. The killer has not failed until the game itself ends. Neither has the survivor won until they actually leave.
What if I told you... That you are not entitled to an escape. The killer lives to prevent you from escaping, and you're being mad at a mechanic that favors a killer, that in the end: really only has the capacity to kill everyone at once if survivors fail to escape in time. If that happens, that's on you. A complex mechanic is countered by simply leaving, but your noob mind refuses to believe that. So you call it "unfair" and try to make it easier for yourself.
You're arguing against a balanced mechanic. It won't be changed anytime soon until there is some actual arguments with effective facts upon why this is the case, which don't exist because it is indeed balanced. This post is not one of them.

Ahem....

Clown music would be weird to play when you choose Kate.
I honestly don't mind actually.

They put the limit to prevent hackers from getting essentially unlimited bp.
I'm not against it honestly. Don't see a problem.
-
I would agree with the two-way chat system.
-
Play with your food is kinda weak on it's own, but has oddly wonderful synergy on OTHER obsession perks that rely on ignoring obsession to gain more power.
Honestly, just the 5% on it's own is powerful enough. Making most 110% killers turn into normal 115% killers.
Pairs well with Save the best for past, Dying light, and Rancor.
I would actually rank this high in my opinion. Synergy with perks and pretty much makes most killers much more effective in chases than usual.
However I feel it should only remove a token when you successfully hit a survivor. Otherwise, it'll be a good perk to run.
-
I'm down for it.
I like this.
-
Actually, I feel that the perk should block vaults and stuff a few meters from the KILLERS position. Much more better, and has around the same usefullness as Poised.
-
Don't forget Survivor mains also cry from time-to-time.
Killer mains aren't the only ones who complain.

Myers and Spirit.

I really like the change this disables it if the killer gets another hook. Survivors keep saying "just stop tunneling" but then dont use it as an anti tunnel perk. They use it mid chase because they have the time to.
Very cool, totally agree with that one.
Thanks mate.
Noticed this perk does less than just punish tunnelers. So I thought of some new ideas to more accurately show that this perk is more meant to waste time by punishing tunnelers, instead of it only be a free health state for a minute.

no. your ideas suck. DS is fine.
Why do they suck?
Unless you can counter my arguments for making the changes in the first place...
Then all you are is just a salty survivor main looking for attention.
-
@CruiseControl said:
DS is fine where it's at. Bad killers say it's "immunity perk" only when they spend half the game getting looped because they're awful in chases. Either eat it, go for someone else, or slug them. It doesn't need to changed, DS in it's current state IS the nerfed version of DS.
This change is supposed to do it's job better at countering tunneling killers, while also making it feel more deserved by having more noticable counters.
The fact that it disables on hook is to prove you weren't tunneling a recently unhooked survivor. As this perk will make the killer reliably, and effectively apply pressure to survivors instead of going to one single survivor.
The shortened timer is to prevent the killer from being ds'd after finding the survivor and insta-downing them, only to have it count as "tunneling" and you get your ass struck down because of a lengthy immunity period. But to prevent them from waiting ds out while survivor is dying, the timer will not go down to compensate.
Disabling it after going into a locker is to prevent an exploit. Either leave them alone, (which should be assumed you did before finding them), or eat the ds. This wastes a unnecessarily ridiculous amount of time.
-
Reverted timer nerf. It is now 40 seconds at max tier.
-
If I can see the blood. Sure, I'll track it.
Found a hiding jake bcuz I followed bloodstains.
Didn't live.
I would get all of wraiths perks but just trying to prioritize getting other perks. Before i touch the bing bong boi.

Because yes
-
She seems pretty stronk....
Ok. Thanks for the help lads.

Added the nerf where it also deactivates upon entering a locker.
-
Albeit a weak strategy, it is still a strategy nonetheless.

Corrupt Interception:
This perk makes all totems unable to be interacted with by survivors for 120/180/240 seconds
Not a bad idea with Hexes.
Should change the name tho.

It's time to... NOT nerf freddy.
He's finally viable, and because you refuse to learn, you're trying to shove him into the garbage heap.
Folks, wins aren't served on a silver plate, you hafta earn it.
A game ain't fun with no challenge.

See here for my own suggestion.
@Toxicboii said:
I've give it some thought... Thought of a both buff and nerf to it.
- While in dying state, Ds timer stops.
- If someone else is hooked while ds is active. It deactivates immediately.
-
Removed the timer nerf.
That is all folks.
-
@MissGamer456 said:
I say maybe keep it at 60 seconds but if the killer downs you - you get a free unbreakable you have 60 seconds to recover During the timer you get 5 hard skill checks and you have to hit 3 out of 5. If the Timer runs out you can’t get up.
I don’t know this is just something I just thought of
It's a perk that's meant to discourage killers from tunnelling survivors.
Not an anti-slugging perk.
-
Can't get tunnelled if you're not caught.

Unique menu music is better.
Let the salt flow through you.

At first I read the title and just thought...no kidding. Next you'll tell me about a Nurse that teleported around.
Thought the same thing. Honestly surprised when it wasn't clickbait.
-
Only nerf i would put on nurse is to reduce her lunge after her blink. Hell, make it as small as Tier 1 Michael's. I may not play her, but it don't mean I understand her potential. With a reduced lunge, it lightens the load for survivors. Makes it slightly harder for nurse, but they need a counter lads.
-
Michael has a small tr that is natural, unlike Ghostface who has no tr, but is stopped by being looked at.
You can't stop Michael from reaching tiers, only making it harder for him. Ghostface can be stopped by being looked at.
Myers can oneshot everyone with a extended lunge and a increased vault speed. (A monster with Fire up and Bamboozle). Hell, he can stay in tier 3 permanently. Ghostface can only stalk individual survivors, and he gains no benefit after exposure. His ability maybe helps in the chase, but definitely lackluster against myers.
We both know who wins. But I don't mind playing gf for a change of pace either. Both are fun, and that's what matters.

Let it snow.
LET. IT. SNOW.

Want to know more about the characters!
Rather desperately infact!
We can finally get some effective THEORIES going!!

Tokens.
Feels good to get.

Gen repair time increasing won't make things better. They've already tried this. They need to bring in a new main objective to work on to deny genrush.
-
Make your choice counters hyper-altruism pretty harshly.
Same can be said for devour but relies on totem not dying.
-
YES, YES, YES!!!
ELLEN RIPLEY TOO!
-
Ellen Ripley looks like a wonderful choice.
Considering dbd is pulling out all the stops and going for "Humanoid" killers. But not quite human.
I'd say The Xenomorph and Ellen would go good together.
-
I always get jumpscared by hag, i ######### you not. It's hilarious!

Love this as survivor. Love the feeeel.
Don't care if I lose chases, I play immersed anyway.
Can't lose a chase if you aren't in one.

But for things without terror radius
Then use Spine chill.
-
Trappy boi should actually have all his traps in his inventory at base, and add an extra action that allows him to reset a trap without needing to pick it up and back down again.
Wraithy boi should have Undetectable AFTER fully coming out of cloak, not during.
Otherwise, looks like you did a pretty gud job so far.
-
We have a something called a "terror radius".
