Actually, I think just reducing cooldown is just fine. You only need to look at him for a second and 5 milliseconds to break him out of Night shroud. No need to make it shorter.

Because it can make quiet type killers like Ghost Face (Myers included) even more stealthy. Combine that with Monitor & Abuse and you have a grand total of only an 8 meter terror radius.
You do realize the tr reduction from Furtive Chase only applies while *in a chase*, right?

Well then why don’t you give your two cents on what needs to be added, after all, I said my idea wouldn’t be a huge buff.
Actually, it needs a rework tbh. First: the perk only effects your tr while IN a chase, and I have no idea how they thought that was a good idea.
Second: Removing the "In chase" requirement will make it able to suppress 24 meters of your tr at all times. (I think at least, since i haven't looked at the perk for a while.) Which will make it op. Making multiple killers have a small tr similar to Myers'.
And Third: If we reduce tokens acquired and had tr reduction lowered, it will still be a worse Monitor and Abuse.
I have no bloody idea how this perk can be buffed the way it is. The effects of the perk are quite literally useless. It needs a rework before I even think about touchin' it.
-
Demo is good where he is. Don't need him to be ridiculously op lads, just "git gud".
-
You do realize this perk is useless, right?
Literal waste of a perk slot.
I don't think having the killer hit a survivor to make them obsession only one time won't assist this perk. The effects themselves need to be improved.
-
Yeah. No. 60 seconds is long enough.
That's a full minute of what is essentially invincibility.
Plenty of people still have probs with this perk. "Just don't tunnel", well you're the only survivor in sight, so I have to go for you otherwise I wouldn't be killer, would I? This perk forces killers to go for the savior, (which I do anyway if possible.)
-
Need the bp.
Counters Hex perks as well. Normally why I like running small game.
-
Make gameplay more dynamic first, battlepass later.
-
If only i played during it :(
I regret it deeply now. It hurts so bad, during the bloodhunt I had a large impulse to play Apex Legends...
-
I want this.
-
I'm considering on getting hag next... Should I do it? I mean, I don't plan on getting Demise, Saw, and Ash's dlc's.
-
*Slowly holds up BBQ and C along with We're gonna live forever*
-
I think you're misunderstanding what causes genrushing.
Gens are literally the only objective in the bloody game. So all they're doing is the gens. It's done quickly because survivors are spread apart and often work on other gens or with people. We need another different objective, not another generator to hold down m1 for.

I didn’t ask for you to be toxic on my post.
Laddie, I'm allowed to post what I want.
It's me literally telling you to do your research. I get it: This post has an opinion, and I have an opinion that your opinion wasn't even thought out.
So, if you excuse me, I'm going to continue to judge and question your intelligence since you asked for nerfs on an borderline useless perk.

Yeah I feel ya bro. The killer can’t kill you if they can’t find you.
Can't hit what ain't there.

@SulfonicFaun52 said:
What are your guilty pleasure perks (perks that people don’t really use or say that are trash, waste of a perk slot, not meta, etc.) This can apply to both killer or survivor perks.
For killer I would say Lightborn. It’s very situational and it’s not the most powerful perk but I cannot deny that I do get a good feeling when I hit people who are trying real hard to blind me.
For Survivor I would say Stakeout. I don’t play survivor as much as I do killer so my skill check game mainly consist of good skill checks and maybe one or to great skill checks if I’m lucky. So I like this perk because it gives you the value of a great skill check by hitting a good skill check. Plus I usually play super immersed (because I suck with chases) so I can gain stacks easily.
I also succ with chases so I play immersed too. You and me bro.
I may not have one yet, but I feel like it's gonna be Sole Survivor. Since I'm anti-altruistic 80% of the time, most people will die. I guess I just enjoy running it to confuse Killers. I don't own it yet, but that won't stop me from prioritizing it.
-
Well, this buff seemed random. I didn't see anything regarding Terror radius perks to be godly on Freddy. Out of nowhere buff I'd say. I'll take what I can get, but it still confuses me.
-
I think it would be better if the shadows of the Survivors (which is the invite mechanic) were all replaced with previously selected survivors of your friends. Much better aesthetic.
-
Bloodweb is based on RNG. You are unable to ensure you get a perk you want from the bloodweb. You can't guarantee you can obtain a perk you want. They said something about being able to directly buy a perk for more bp than it originally was.
Also, you don't need to level SC up to max. SC at 1 is good enough.
-
Ok. No.
I think this is just a bleeding troll.
-
.... I can only guess that you ran into someone running Huntress Lullaby with full stacks. Ego came in, and then here we are.
Do your research!

Legion is on the line for an addon rework. (Nurse is gonna be first, don't know who comes after, but legion is there)
How do you know zis? I didn't see or hear them mentioning legion.

Ruin, PGTW, BBQ and Bamboozle.
PGTW, Sloppy, Thana, Dying Light.
Best add-ons?
The pins will be great after the rework.
For now, any of the power extensions, any of the mix-tapes and the power recharge speed one's.
"Pins will be great after rework."
Wait, pins are gonna be changed?
-
I shouldn't be surprised.
Survivors always complain about these things on the killers. Freddy is finally viable again, and we're back on the trail to garbage city. Folks, there are enough warnings to tell you that a snare exists, and multiple ways to avoid it.
Giant pool of blood. My god, it's already obvious.
Clear animation shows he is placing down snare.
Only works when you are sleeping.
It takes a second to become active.
And yet you still run into those traps and now you got punished for it. I swear, a toxic survivors' thought process before crying out for nerfs can be dumbed down to this: "Is it my fault? No, it must be op. They can never catch up to me, the killer is never better than me" Come ON people, if you want to avoid being caught in traps or hit by Noed, GET BLOODY GOOD AT THE GAME. What is the point of a game with no challenge? Why are you all set out to nerf the living crap out of killers simply because you aren't good?! an easy game is a boring one.
-
God, this is surprisingly Vigil but worse. If a perk has similar, or is meant to combo SPECIFICALLY with one perk, then it is a bad idea.
This perk only exists to reduce exhaustion cooldowns with around the same numbers as Vigil.
I think I'd like Vigil to be buffed instead of having this perk take a perk slot.
-
*No.* Absolutely not.

He's already threatening. You're asking for double the destroy speed of Brutal Strength. That's a fat "no".

It's actually bad for plundering builds. Plunder builds are best used for fishing keys and other more awesome stuff. Pharmacy nerfs your plunder by turning your 3 chances to get an awesome item into 2 chances.
Green medkits are not to be scoffed at. They have more charges than Ranger medkits, and heals other people faster than ranger medkits. You can even leave behind medkits for unfortunate survivors to not be so unfortunate and heal up.
In my opinion, it's a decent alternative to Self Care. You aren't required to pick up whatever is found. If you don't want it, drop it for someone else to use.
-
Pretty good job so far.
-
.... Yes, a game is dying due to totem placements.
It's obviously not the toxic and controlling community telling eachother what is or isn't allowed despite it not mattering and that people can run what they want.
Or the depressingly weak killers or powerful killers being nerfed into Oblivion.
Or the babies yelling out for nerfs because of a mechanic they're not familiar with.
Nope. Just the totem placements.

You have 0 TR with Dark Devotion so it would apply.
By that logic, so can Tinkerer.
-
Undetectable will most likely and certainly be applied on Ghostface's shroud, and permanently on tier 1 of myers.
Maybe on pig's crouch, but it should be implemented. In her current state, she can use all the help she can get.
No, it won't be implemented into Dark Devotion, i highly doubt it. But it could be.
-
No.
Mettle change is essentially Borrowed time in every aspect with deep wounds removed.
Ds change is essentially a weaker revert to the old ds.
So no. What we actually need is for ds to instantly deactivate in lockers, and for Mettle to return to previous state, but with more hits required to activate, or have it's stacks given through all altruism acts (healing, safe unhooks, protection hits).

Why is WGLF useless and BBQ amazing then?
WGLF promotes altruism but doesn't offer any other ability other than the 100% Bp increase.
BBQ can help give killers a general idea of what to do next. Since it reveals survivors who were 40 away from the hooked survivor for 4 seconds.
Should you prepare for survivor unhook rush?
Where are they?
Are they close?
What are they doing?
And plenty more reaction can be made using this info. But it's mostly used for bp stacks.

Thank you, lad!

DO I SEE BUBBA'S BASEMENT BUILD?!
Nice dood.

I love dbd because of... Well everything.
The "snap" of the bear trap.
Standing still as spirit and tricking the survivors.
Scaring people out of their seats as jumpscare myers.
Obtaining a perk you really wanted.
And above all: what might be my most satisfying thing that can happen...
Is to get all meta perks, to finally play whoever I want as survivor.
This game is filled with feels, and I love the rush of adrenaline as i escape just barely.
The fear factor as I am unaware of the killer, and always being tense thanks to the music.
And as always: I love the designs of the killers. And the imagination going into them... Most of had less than others if you know what I mean, but I still play them sometimes.
-
Tosic surv: NoEd, really?
Me: Maybe you do BONES next time.
Tosic Surv: Ain't nobody got time for that!
- Toxic survivors' natural response to NoEd
-
I have never laughed at someone so hard. Lmao rn.
I understand it's a mistake, but it's ridiculously funny that you somehow thought a bug was a legit minor change!
-
There's a difference.
In those pvp games, yes, it IS the same objectives, but it's fun because you have to be actively moving around, being aware of the enemy. And shooting first.
But in dbd, you just sit down. Hold down a button. And wait for longer than a minute to get one out of 5 gens activated. Skill checks keep you on your feet, but really now that's the only reason why people are active in the game in order to not lose easily.
Second: You're comparing a first person shooter, which are fast-paced, and action packed to the slow, terrifying, fear slowly building up as you're forced to do dangerous things to ensure survivor. The fear of the unknown is the primary source of fear. You don't know who, or when the killer will catch you. You get a rush of adrenaline as they stray closer to you, and you hide to evade their vision.
But that feeling is eliminated by the feeling of annoyance because on tbe gens, there is literally nothing else other than to hold a button, and press another button every now and then.
Besides. Fps' have alternate game modes so you wont always be bored. Dbd only has "gen repair simulator" for minutes, and "exit gate open and gtfo simulator" for a few more minutes.
-
Bloody hell dude, chill. They're working on it, it hasn't been applied yet. Patch notes didn't mention placing undectable on stealth killers yet.
-
That's certainly problematic seemingly, but frankly, I don't pay too much mind to it honestly. True, it takes nearly 2 minutes to do a single gen, but then again, we have waited longer to fix something. *Cough* no heal builds *cough*. So yeah, it does seem problematic, but ruin can essentially do the same thing, it's just based on if the survivor hits skill checks if they power through it.
And now you will soon destroy me with you telling me I'm painfully wrong.

Well bois we did it.
Genrushing is no more.
-
Love 'im. His power assists in the chase, and can end loops, can apply massive amounts of pressure... And teleport around the map.
I'd say that after this hotfix, we miiiight see the Demogorgon as the new addition to 2 certain S Tier killers.
-
I agree with everything you said.
Except the stated fix to Genrushing.
The reason why it exists is because there is literally only one objective, and no other alternative. "Hold down the button to escape" essentially.
They should make the gens more complex than it is right now, or add another objectives.
