While the changes over the years have certainly helped it be better, it's still terrible. Eventually, though, I think I kind of get the theming behind the perk. Let's refresh our memory with the effect and why it's bad. The following effects apply permanently during the Trial: Suffer from the Broken Status Effect . Reduces the volume of Grunts of Pain while either in the Injured or9 comments 241 views last activity

You have the undeniable capability to sense danger. Receive an auditory warning upon looking in the Killer's direction within a 45 ° cone within 36 meters . If this occurs, you see the killers' aura for 3 seconds. The perk goes on cooldown for 30/25/20 seconds. The perk deactivates when you're in a chase, and resets the cooldown when you get out of chase. It more firmly functions as a s4 comments 111 views last activity

Why not make it so you can turn on Chaos Shuffle in the perk menu in return for a BP bonus? Helps to not skew the matchmaking when Chaos Shuffle eventually ceases popularity, or god forbid, the normal gamemode ceases instead.5 comments 61 views last activity

Due to me owning the DLC before it was removed from Steam, the Perks that used to be basekit were subsequently removed from Steve and The Demogorgon's perk slots. The only probable way to reproduce this is to remove the DLC again before any of the teachable perks are unlocked beforehand. I cannot use Babysitter, Camaraderie, or Second Wind on Steve because he physically does not have the perk0 comments 31 views last activity

Just gonna be quick here: Do you think Hex totems should spawn the closest to the killer at the start of the match?5 comments 151 views last activity

I want to take a step back from the game for a moment to actually look at the bigger picture. Long story short: Why do some offerings exist? The kind of offerings being stuff like the Sealed Envelope and the Hollow Shell, to start with, which offers 25% BP in all catagories. It's a pretty neat bonus to cover all the bases… Until you realize it has the same rarity as a BP offering that just5 comments 61 views last activity

You know those addons on killers which give some kind of "tutorial" for them? The Chipped Monocle for the Blight, Plaid Flannel for the Nurse, etc... Why not make them basekit, and have there be an option to turn it off? There's no need to have it be an addon. There's hardly any risk or benefit to use it in the first place.11 comments 91 views last activity

*Sees* *Remembers that the game is being poorly treated, only getting worse with each subsequent chapter update, almost every time breaking the game until they take literal months to fix it. And most of the content came out poorly balanced. Then sees that the developers think they're actually doing a good job to warrant a nomination. Meanwhile here I15 comments 221 views last activity

What are some good "Scary" builds I can use? Even if Myers is the textbook example, I want to think outside the box and use something unconventional. Besides, I think most people have grown immune to jumpscare myers. I own every killer except... Twins, Hag, Executioner, Nemesis, Pinhead, Blight. Every other one? Go nuts so that I can go nuts!3 comments 31 views last activity

Lemme explain. The Spirit is a 110% movement speed killer. So she relies on her power more than others. Her power recharges slowly without the help of addons. She has high mindgame potential, still requiring lots of experience to understand how to use to one's advantage, similar, but not exactly like, the Nurse... And her power can assist in catching survivors off-guard by reappearing in u16 comments 91 views last activity

I enjoy the idea of luck-based perks, but the ones he have are anything but fun, practical, or impactful. So. Let's take a gander then, shall we? How would you rework Ace's perks, while still keeping in mind that he is a gambling man. So maybe keep his perks luck-based, while putting a specific focus on 'fun' factors. Or if you wanna make it practical, that's cool too.8 comments 92 views last activity

You'll thank me later, maybe. It might as well be DBD but better. These devs know the errors BHVR is makin', and is working to make a clear 'goal' for winning and losing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQXQ9Bm15Xg&ab_channel=SpaceCoconut5 comments 61 views last activity

I'm seeing that a lot of people tier Premonition as trash-tier. But I don't quite see the issue. Is there something about premonition that just doesn't tick the right boxes? I'd say knowing the general direction the killer is coming from is fairly effective in obtaining information. It's helped saved me from hiding the killer more times than not rather than with Spine Chill that just made me lo59 comments 1,331 views last activity

Where do I even begin? The status effects have been running around in DBD for some time now. And a lot of them are outdated or are just bad concepts. No, not ALL of the effects need reworks. Exposed works just fine. And some other perks. I'm talking about perks and addons that have been run under the bus because the effects are niche. So let's change that. Have you ever experienced a survivor be so fixated on something, that they failed to see death coming a mile away? Experienced a survivor or a group of survivors fall to a killer despite them obviously standing there? Experienced someone do a move so confusing, you wonder if they're big brain, or if you just bamboozled them that hard? Tell your stories of humor here!0 comments 11 views last activity

The Pig. Boy oh boy, how did this crafty macabre killer become nothing more than... Well, I guess a less than stellar killer? Her traps are reliant on RNG, the timer is 2 minutes and 30 seconds, making an add-on a must-have. (Cough, tampered timer, cough) And they are useless in the endgame. Anyone got any ideas to buff her and her traps? No reworks. I'd say the idea she has right now is ama5 comments 81 views last activity

I don't get the hatred for NOED. Just, y'know, do bones. That's the one counter for it, and it isn't a hard one at that.143 comments 1,771 views last activity

Ok, so let’s start off from the beginning. ========================== Killer Ability ========================== The Legion is a killer, at the moment, who benefits very little from their primary ability. Feral Frenzy . Sure, it slows down the game, but it makes it painfully boring and unsatisfying to the person that uses it and the person the victim of it. I'm asking this so I may plan my take on the Legion buff/rework. But in order to do this, I have to ask the question... What is the point of deep wounds? What is it trying to achieve, and does it truly achieve the effect, or does it lack in a field? After I get an acceptable answer, I'll ask another question, this time, related to Legion directly.31 comments 1,201 views last activity

Concerning her recent changes, loads, and I mean LOADS of people, complained their asses off due to her change, multiple people were saying she's weak now considering a.... Charge mechanic was added to nurse... It takes 6 seconds to charge, but I did hear someone say it felt more like 3.5 seconds. 'felt' not 'is'. She may not be in S Tier, but her power is still strong, all it does is leave mor84 comments 1,103 views last activity

I've give it some thought... Thought of a both buff and nerf to it. - While in dying state, Ds timer stops. - If someone else is hooked while ds is active. It deactivates immediately. - Going into a locker will also deactivate DS. -Timer is reduced 40 seconds at max.44 comments 331 views last activity

So... Yeah, what I'm gonna propose is probably not popular. Maybe not even liked, but hear me out. This is for the sake for the game itself as we know it. So... Dbd has many problems. It's toxic community and the waging war between survivor and killer mains. The mechanics now realized to be tedious and unfun, which is causing much more negativity in the form of "genrushing". This post here is entirely directed to salty survivors who complained something outrageous to killers. Ok, yeah, we understand. We all have been there. There is something OP and we want it handled immediately for the sake of balance. But why do most of you just... Beg for unnecessary nerfs. You beg for devs to Nerf NOED when it is easily countered by doing totems. You beg to have Ruin nerfed5 comments 81 views last activity

Devs, stop it. We don't need killers that has their power influenced by survivors. There are now going to be 3 killers that require the survivor to be dumb as dirt to take advantage of their powers. We do NOT need another. Plague requires that a survivor cleanses themselves in order to injure survivors by vomiting. Ghostface requires survivors to not look at him so he can insta-down people. So it is widely known that almost all Terror radius based perks are bad as HFIL. Coulrophobia, Unnerving and Overwhelming prescence. Mostly either of a lackluster effect, or a effect that assists instead of harms the survivors' chance of escaping. The biggest issue is that it's less effective/useless on Killers with a naturally small/non-existent TR. But the fix I have can fix that, while also bu13 comments 491 views last activity
