In a game about running and evading, an items like a flashlight, which is used offensively to harass and confuse the killer, makes no sense really. I'm not saying they're op or anything, I just think that their implementation was done poorly and has lead to really confusing gameplay for new killers.
Nope, lightborn, next problem

At this point it's used as a way to describe a killer who will sit and stare at a survivor until they die, but yes ACTUAL facecamping was fixed long ago and sucked when it existed.
Sorry my controller just died and I need to plug it back in, lol

I agree, that's why I just said Spirit xp. I honestly don't even know if it would work with how Spirit's power works, but that's what most people also list when talking about changing blink attacks into special attacks.
I guess yeah, it would just probably be a window of time like how wraith has like 4 ish seconds to make a surprise attack happen
I think that nurse change would be good, because that's what everyone is hoping for, blink attacks to be special attacks, and that really wouldn't hurt nurse much anyways

Especially, faster bloodlust and reduced sprinting time after getting hit.
Faster kicking speed, reduced successful m1 hit cooldown, 2.5% generator regress after kicking, additional 10 seconds while repairing gen were mostly ok for me but I think others don't feel necessary personally.
Bloodlust was a counter mechanic against infinite loops, weak killer's secondary power and a thing to make killers bearable in certain connected loops.
Nowadays most maps are reworked, many pallets are weaker, more fair, less and some maps have huge deadzones.
I wouldn't say bloodlust should be utterly deleted but faster? I don't think it was necessary thing to do.
It is not a strange thing that many people use Dead Hard still, to consume bloodlust.
Reduced sprinting time is very easy to recognize when versing either Nurse or Blight.
Maybe other strong killers who have decent chase ability.
Paired with reduced m1 hit cooldown, sometimes it is impossible to run away from loops you're in after getting hit.
Not enough time and distance for other loops for sure.
I still think weak killers should be buffed individually and maps should be looked at.
Chases are what make survivors not play generator repair simulator game.
Now because survivors have weaker chase, they have to crank harder on generators.
Is this what BHVR really wanted? Always sticking on generators?
And please don't deny these buffs literally feel like nothing. Buffs were too numerous.
I mean, throw on overcome and you don't even notice the reduced speed

At least show in the lobby or when you find it that it actually looks broken so the killer knows not to worry about hatch

I just played a match as Trapper on ormond and I brought the add on that allows me to start with all my traps. I started the match trapping out all doors to the main building and brought the offering to put the basement in the main building. So basically, I defended the main building and brought any downed survivor to the basement. I also proceeded to reset any disarmed traps and refused be brought to the corner of the map with the shack. Behold… a forced 3-gen scenario. This match proceeded to last over 30 minutes with an eventual 4K. I’m entertained but at the same time, i know it was super boring for them…
please share your “I created an unfun match” stories please. I didnt realize what I created until I was in the middle of it and felt the need to commit to what I started.
generally I’m a survivor main so I’m not super familiar with all the mess killers actually do.
stories stories stories please. I like stories
if you have come to this post to complain about killers, this post is one you can pass on. I simply want match stories
I was playing kate on yamaoka, and ran a Billy through the graveyard place with all the statues and the possibility of the basement area, which is fine sure yeah, 3 person escape... I was the only one not to get out, lol
But then I play another match on Macmillan and...THE SAME EXACT HILLBILLY
After realizing it was me when I dodged his first 2 chainsaws...he gave up and sat in a corner
Yeah... that felt bad, but I needed to open 3 chests in one trial, so I figured it was the best time

It happens at least 50% of the time in Solo Q. I have started recording it.
It really doesn't, just because the killer slugs for the 4k, doesn't mean he's using the 3rd survivor for Intel
-
Bamboozled (Survivor Edition)
(Idk, I'm really not creative with names, if someone wants to give it a proper name, go ahead)
When interacting with a regressing generator, it's regression visual stays active for 30 seconds you're on the gen for. During this time, the killer will see a gen being regressed and can also not kick it again to regress the gen further
Idk, kinda sounds like repressed alliance, but I think it would add some mind games to the killer if you worked on it for say 10 seconds and then he comes back while you hide, sees nothing wrong and walk away

The endgame is a total mess.
1) When two Survivors are left, the game is open to trolling. Someone gets downed first, and then they start shaking their body on the ground to communicate to the Killer that they will "help" find the other one. This happens all the time.
2) You need to introduce more ways for the last 1 or 2 survivors to finish the remaining generators. Once the team is dead, it's completely hopeless to do generators. The killer starts patrolling, hits every generator, and if you touch the generator, he knows you touched it because it's not regressing anymore.... he knows you are in that area and you get found and die. This is fine when you have a team to unhook you, but in end game, it's over. It creates a problem where survivors see their team die, and now they are hopeless and don't even TRY to do gens anymore, and who can blame them? This game needs a rework in endgame.
Or how about start thinking of cool new things and not just generators. Why not some cool new features where a survivor has to run around the map to different "stations" to turn things on, and repair things....pull some levers, hit some buttons, until the exit gates are powered up. The Killer wouldn't know which stations need to be done, so there would be a chance... you introduce a new skill - the Killer needs to know the map and have map awareness. And the Survivor can still have a shot at escaping. This would fix a lot of the generator problems anyway.
How many posts are you gonna make about 2 survivors killing each other

You're in the minority. I should start recording all my games to make a compilation in a short amount of time. There are MANY scummy killers out there, that have no issues not hooking the 2nd to last survivor, and using them to find the last one.. ESPECIALLY if you looped the killer well during the match or were hard to catch.
Oh no, killer slugs for the 4k... terrible

I’ve nodded at the last survivor or 2 before to indicate I’m going to show mercy and let them go, but not in exchange for anything. I’ll then track down the other(s) and nod at them too (if they stop running long enough to notice I’m not trying to catch them)
I don’t think I’ve run into anyone trying to sell out hidden survivors. I have had some survivors presumably indicate I should attack someone standing right beside us which results in a complex dance of trying to figure out what specific challenge they’re trying to knock out. Hook save, heal a health state, trigger some perk, flashlight/pallet save, desire to be a jerk and t-bag their downed compatriot, etc.
When I play survivor I find the information useful. Among other things, I can plot out where they can intercept me while minimizing how much they have to break cover to do so. I never crawl right at anyone unless they’re right there anyway but in solo queue I could see that as someone not thinking through their actions being the more likely motivation than intentional sandbagging.
If you see an Ace and a Kate trying to heal each other and constantly messing up, just know they are having one of their world famous arguments about who's getting healed first and leave them be please, lol

Killer perk step by step
You will step over anything to achieve your goal and hate hindrance
For every generator completed you gain a token each token increases your basic attacks lung duration by 10%
Surivor perk boon : double edged sword
Your sheer confidence shines like the edge of a blade but as soon as it's broken all is lost
When the killer is in range of this boon the killer recives a 2% hindered effect up to 10% the closer they get to the boon
But if this boon is snuffed all Survivors in the range of the boon get 5% hindered effect for 15s
Hate to break it to you, but step by step is just a better coup de grace, lol

Before I had gotten the Evil Incarnate Achievement, I was frustrated by a number of matches where survivors would DC the moment they realized what they were going against (bad sportsmanship) or jump into a locker to avoid the Mori (smart gameplay), or the matches where someone would find hatch or simply hide during EGC.
I had one of the matches where someone DC'ed after the second Mori, so I wasn't interested in killing the last player, an adorable Feng. I found them on a door after I closed hatch, and I was fully prepared to let them escape. The Feng and I had a moment between us, I went to smack the door to signal her to open it ... and she moved too close to me. I accidentally grabbed her and Moried her on the spot. I felt HORRIBLE.

No, I am doing my part to repair in a way that doesn't let it happen. That leaves three other survivors who need to do the same. I mean, I've even called it out beforehand in SWFs and it still occurred. Especially on maps such as ARP and Suffocation Pit. I despise those maps on both sides.
ARP? I can't think of that acrynom atm

90% or more of the time I find myself as a survivor in a three-gen situation, I am faulting my teammates and not the killer. It's actually staggering how many survivors don't strategically work through repairing generators this far into the game's life.

Still the Survivors fault sadly. If you notice a Killer is trying to heard or protect a 3 Gen area then it's up to the Survivors to lure him away while other go and onthe Gens. Repressed Alliance is a good perk to help keep progress locked into place Incase the Killer comes back, there is also a few perks that we all know of that helps speed through Gens quickly as long as you have 1 other person on it.
I have broken a possible 3 Gen from over protective Killers before, it's not easy but it can be done
I guess repressed should be seeing more use how this is more a kick meta more than anything, like overcharge and eruption

You have to be the last survivor alive, THEN finish the final gen, then open the exit gate, then escape.
So...hide until your 3 friends speed run the 4 gens, 99 the fifth, have them die, finish gen, open exit gate, tada
Yeah I understand it's harder to achieve in soloQ, but at least you don't have someone waiting at locker to stall out the game to spite you

The achievement requires that you complete the final generator and escape through the exit gates as the final survivor of a trial where everyone else has died. It has nothing at all to do with hatch.
That's...even easier, literally something everyone does every game, but that Myers one is just a nightmare because it's just a petty "haha here's a middle finger"

I'd be interested to hears other's opinions on this. When i play killer, unless I'm running a mori token, trying for adept or going for some other specific challenge. I'll usually let the final survivor go, either in respect for a good game or in pity because they were bad in i steamrolled them. Just feels like a nice thing to do and add a bit of positivity back into the game.
I do it in most of my killer matches where i perform well. I'll of course make exceptions for players who crouch and torch spam lol. Bad manners will earn you the hook.
It's not something i see other killers doing often though. I've seen maybe 3 matches where the killer has let the final survivor go. And it's never been me lol.
Never, I never let the last go
I do however let them all go, lol

You're given a button that if pressed will fix any issues with the game. The killer and survivor gameplay will be better than ever, with either side being fun to play as no matter who you play as, who you play against, you play with, and if you even play with friends at all. Any future update will add even more great things to the game with the formula being perfected.
the catch?
everyone's data gets reset.
The perks you've unlocked, the blood points you've gained, and any sort of progress you had to show is all gone and you must start from nothing.
This includes anything you've bought with real money or in-game currency, so all the killers, survivors, and cosmetics you had are now gone and must all be rebought if you want them again.
BHVR would never acknowledge this reset no matter how many ask them anything surrounding it.
So would you press the button?
*Beep* done, I don't care, I'd just buy Kate again and be done with it

Should killers have some sort of handicap so that survivors can get their Left Behind achievement..? Like maybe the killer is auto-stunned for 60 seconds once the 2nd to last survivor is killed. That way, they can’t artificially deny the last survivor a shot at obtaining that achievement. Or is it different when it’s survivors who want an achievement?
How about the fact that the Myers achievement is, call it what you will if you had better experience, one of the hardest ones to get
To get hatch achievement, just sit in the corner, contribute nothing and escape through hatch
