A bubba or infinite tier 3 Myers can reproduce the same result with no noed needed.
Yet were not changing Bubba any time soon...
To be fair, u know what you're getting right away because you know the killer is Mickey/Bubba, we don't know about noed until after gens. That's all I'm saying

There's a lot of players on these boards that say Killers get punished by camping by not getting Kills. It seems like a majority believe that camping will net you on average, about 1 kill, while the other 3 survivors escape.
Since I like date, I thought I would test this hypothesis by doing 10 camping-killer games a night and showing the data I got. (There is 1 caveat, if there is a hatch escape without all 5 gens being done I count that as a kill. So far I've only had 1 of these happen).
Here's my data for night 1. I am, of course, playing Leatherface.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/HD7NXUV5TRS7/image.png
As you can see, as a camping-killer, I'm getting on average about 3.3 kills a game. I don't really feel like I've been punished at all for camping with kill rate of 82.50%.
(I'll add 10 more games tomorrow night for more accurate stats and will probably get up to about 50 games, depending on if I can handle the boredom).
***12/27 Edit***
As promised, I did 10 more facecamping Bubba games. I really despise doing these type of games, it definitely feels dirty to me. Anyway, I've tried some Corrupt Intervention and Bitter Murmur. I kind of like both. Bitter Murmur gives me a chance to NOED 2 survivors at the end of game.
Well, you probably would've gotten less if the survivors weren't stupid to come back for the person (I can only assume this is how you got more than 1 kill)

That DBD needs to be moved to a better engine and needs a revamp of graphics and game mechanics.
And that the lack of any changes to core gameplay is due to the developers own laziness and lack of skill, rather than an impossibility or limitation of technology. As we've seen many many other games that are a lot more graphically intense, with way more content, from even smaller studios.
A different unpopular opinion, I'd prefer the game being more of a horror game rather than a party game like it currently is. Even if it meant I survive a lot less. Currently when I'm playing survivor, especially with friends, it feels like we're the power house of the game rather than the killer. And they're just a kind of added feature to occasionally interrupt my skill check simulator. You could remove all player killers and only have it against AI, and it wouldn't feel any different to me, and I don't like that lol
It will never feel like a horror game forever because not everything can scare you most of the time because you've played it for 8k hours

Killers have become a bunch of crybabies and it's never been easier being a killer, with basically everything survivors had being nerfed. Playing killer since 2016...
Just because they were nerfed doesn't mean they were balanced back then, if they started running at 200% speed for 3 seconds basekit every time a chase activated, would nerfing that be balanced? Or a nerf?

Assuming you have only base game I suggest wraith. He has predator invisibility and is truly invisible 20+ meters away. Has shadowborn to widen your fov, bloodhound to see blood easier and predator to see scratch marks a bit longer to help you track survivors.
Let's not forget, bloodhound and predator are pretty meh perks, but i guess for beginners not terrible

I am new to the game and trying to figure out what killer would be easiest to use for a new player.
DOCTOR, PLAY DOCTOR, in seriousness though, he is quite easy to pick up, use ability, survivor screams, walk towards scream, simple but effective

No. If a survivor team doesn't make good use of their perks then they shouldn't get perks for free. A survivor unhooking you at a bad time without BT should be just that, a bad call and the result is a net negative for the survivor team. Not a bad play on top of not optimizing perks resulting in a net positive. If it was its own perk, sure...but then you'd have the problem of it clashing with BT/making BT a wasted perk.
Yeah, it should be a punishment for the unhooker, not the unhooked because they made the call

First of all, I'm 'throwing' to not face super sweaty sweat squads so I can actually enjoy playing a game. Get over yourself its not that serious.
Secondly, just because I'm doing it intentionally doesn't mean it doesn't happen to killers who are still trying their best. So I ask again, why does a killers objective hurt their pipping so much more?
So...ur "smurfing"?

Play thematically.
As killer its your role to kill the survivors so just do it.
I actually don't like it when the killer is nice because it kinda flies in the face of the theme. Killers should be threatening, scary, unpredictable and generally a force to be reckoned with.
If Myers and Laurie just hugged it out and then went for icecream Halloween wouldn't be the iconic slasher film it is today, why people expect the same from DBD boggles my mind but here we are.
You see post after post of "the killer didn't kill me politely or let me go waaahh!" its nuts.
I mean, the most recent Halloween isn't really "iconic" anyways, but that's my opinion i guess

Because the Killer is a crowd pleaser role. The map is your stage and your play style is your music genre.
Since we play alone, sometimes we just want to be remembered :(
That was beautiful, lol

Actually premonition is the most overpowered perk.
Don't even start with spine chill and premonition arguments, lol

It's coming up now b/c killers run the perk more due to the event. besides blast mine and flash bang perks, firecrackers are all over the bloodwebs right now. and since flash bangs many survivors are on point with their flash bang/firework hits. so yeah, it makes sense killers run it even if they don't see a flashlight in the lobby.
And fire crackers also appear in chests as well, so there's now 2 types of blinding tools u can get in a trial
-
@DwightFairfield said:
lightborn is the best "useless perk", in the sense that if no one brings flashlights, flashbangs, flash mines, or firecrackers it literally does nothing for the entire game.
i don't know why people complain about it so much, even when it works its not that good, and once you blind the killer you instantly know that he has it equipped so you can work around it.
Honestly, the aura reading can be a game changer, it's like I'm all ears except for an extra 4 seconds and you can predict their movement

Agreed. I think Lightborn is one of the worst perks in the game. As soon as a team full of flashlights see you have it, you no longer have a team that wants to mess around and get flashlight saves. They will all do gens as quickly as possible to spite you. Even with four flashlights, its so rarely a problem to deal with. If you down a guy, just look around for two seconds and chase the saver off for a second, turn back around and pick up. If theres ANOTHER guy then frankly no one is doing gens so who cares at that point.
Well whenever I'm running it, it doesn't matter if they know if i have it or not, they ALWAYS keep trying, it's hilarious

that could be abused in a way by them tapping it and the grab gets denied making the survivor get hit and escaping
Why don't we have grab validation if survivors get pallet and DH validation? Seems only right

The problem isn't "time", it's not knowing if totems have been cleansed or not when you're playing solo.
I mean, if ur that desperate to wonder if bones are done or not, small game exists

Yes. I thought that was the norm to be honest, because all my friends do it too.
I specifically go out of my way to get at least one of each event item/add-on/offering on every survivor during events.

The Perk is nowhere near balanced. It eats up Killer Powers, it grants Survivors a 3rd health state that can't be countered and it extend loops by 30 seconds minimum if the Survivor is somewhat good at looping. A Perk that grants the power role so much time to do their objectives is not balanced, healthy nor fun to play against

I don't the survivors just hide for the whole duration and then the perk is irrelevant
That's when you play doc and hunt them down,I think you can get around 2 static blasts before corrupt goes down, so if u haven't started a chase by then, just wasn't meant to be, lol

I like the idea of the perk, I like that I don't have to kick a gen and can just keep going but in it's current state it's just not very good and deserves love. Again mainly want a range buff so it can hit more than 1 gen more often and maybe 10% gen regression
It's literally just something to pick if you don't have something better.
Best killer build hands down is Deadlock, Corrupt and No Way Out with your 4th perk being whatever helps you the most. Honestly most other killer builds don't cut it in comparison, even ruin/undying looking like poop next to the current meta build.
I just also want weaker perks to get love, that goes for both sides. Sick of games just perma letting characters/perks be trash tier and never revisting them.
I honestly wish it got a nice buff like fearmonger, I love the addition of blindness, and I feel like it's not at all broken because it just needs 4 seconds off a gen

We talk a lot about killers playing less or simply quitting the game, but if you could choose *only one reason* what would it be ?
For me it is dead hard. After 300h+ I realized I would have this perk for every survivor in my games punishing me each time I use my power. The worst is on my nurse when I get fatigue for free after an amazing blink because the survivor pressed one button. Also, it made me stoped playing twins completely which was a killer I enjoyed a lot.
What about you ?
I guess I was just a killer main before, took a break from killer, played survivor and before u know it I was a 80% 20% survivor main, lol
