No one can stop you tunneling but personally when I play killer, I'll play how I want killer to play against me. It's kind of douche move to tunnel someone out to get the win when there no rewards from it.
Sure you can continue tunneling but to me, it's boring way to play and I dont see any fun either tunneling someone to death.

It's not that "LT walls is my problem", it's that the survivors have extended the chase possibly another 30s because they had a perk that couldn't be countered.
Nice bad faith acting there bud, bringing up a ridiculous example as if it's anything compared to DH. If it is,riddle me this batman, why don't we see many hope users 4head. It's because they are nothing alike.
Lithe isn't that stupid, the I frames is what makes dead hard stupid. A dash to safety and I frames means there's no punishment for using it to early in a chase.
Maybe, if you actually looked at my points and answered the ######### scenario I originally gave (since you gave no response, I'm guessing you agree there's no counterplay to the perk in this common scenario. And it therefore ensures an extended chase) you wouldn't be sat there looking like the moronic depiction of what most would call a survivor main. However, I just think your heavily misguided.
There is only 3 scenarios, well maybe 2 scenarios if we count just pallet and window generally. Let's say that there is LT wall and behind that (20 meters) is jungle gym and survivor is repairing gen close to LT wall.
A. Uses Dead hard to reach window and you pressure that survivor away from jungle gym. No Dead Hard left to use and probably gets downed soon.
B. Uses Sprint Burst to reach jungle gym, good survivors make you waste time there and then he have chance to reach that LT wall too.
"There is no real counterplay" is wrong because bating Dead Hard in right places is counterplay. Surely there is situations where survivor gets to use Dead Hard at the right place but saying that there is no real counterplay is just stupid. There is even two perks to add exhaustion but one survivor perk to counter Lethal Pursuer. Im not saying that Lethal Pursuer is OP or anything but Dead Hard to me is third best exhaustion perk. First is Adrenaline and then Sprint Burst.
I just yesterday had game as Pig where was Adam with Dead Hard. Do you know how many times he got to use dead hard the way it helped him? once, and only reason was because I tried to use my dash attack to not use STBFL stacks, all remaining situations I pressured him away from good places to use it.
-
Could be but without message they would not invite you to party to insult you. Some players just are total douchebags. Ignoring them is best way to dealt with them.
-
Well you did joke that you tunnel her so that might be why she was upset. Just don't message them before game is over. I've messaged few players after game and none of them haven't send me hate messages.
Tbh, if someone sends me "it's tunnel time" I would make everything to make game as hard as possible to that killer and maybe send few t-bags at the end just to make the game worse to him.
I can't blame that Claudette main, surely she went too far after game but that is other story.

No but in a loop the I frames make it uncounterable.
Does this mean if you brute force the loops you won't eventually get them? No.
But it's the fact that one button has reset the loop.
Otz doesn't struggle against it, but he does get massively affected by a good dead hard. It can even force him to leave chase because it's not worth the extra 30s to down someone a that point.
And if you think it's the "easiest perk to counter"- then please answer this scenario.
You, the killer, are chasing an injured survivor towards an LT wall. Realistically, you should be able to hit him. However, you know he has dead hard due to an earlier chase. So you have to options:
1)bait dead hard. He dead hards and reaches the window.
2) don't bait dead hard and he dead hards and reaches the window.
What counterplay is there? I'd love to know.
If monto Tells you there's counterplay, maybe he's either psychic, or just not going against people who know how to use it?
How about just play like you handle LT walls. Let them just Dead Hard there and vault. There's no more Dead Hard left to use and should be easy down. If LT wall is your problem, bring Bamboozle.
You told one scenario where Dead Hard actually works well, other scenarios are making to a pallet with it or making to an window with it. There is 3 places where Dead Hard actually works. Without those it's useless and you will be downed no matter what.
Are we next gonna complain about hope? "You, the killer, are chasing survivor towards an LT wall, and that survivor makes it because he have that 5% haste bonus. Nerf Hope devs".
It's just your problem if Dead Hard to an LT wall is too much an issue to you. I'll rather take that Dead Hard to and LT wall than Lithe from a window which makes 10x bigger distance between you and that survivor.
Well, I guess someone is coming to call me survivor main after this.

Fair to say a vast majority of people don't like playing on the map, both killer and survivor.
I'm sure the devs have gotten a lot of feedback about how aesthetically pleasing it is, but gameplay wise it's a nightmare to play on.
Did any devs reply to the negative feedback?
-23 or -24, have a great time until that.

An Item That opens an escape Is complete nonsense and should NOT even be a thing. TO pull a key out of a chest no plunderers is so common recently its gross. You think what you want I don't count it especially if you end a trial with 10k escaping through hatch and the others are in the 20s. lol 7k of your points is the hatch escape so otherwise would be 3k.... IT DOESN'T count.
Actually you get 9k points by escaping with a key. Normal hatch escape gives you 7k but key escape gives you 2k "hatvh opening" extra. These things should be common things to know

When all fountains become corrupt they become pure and the plague forcibly enters corrupt purge.
That's is how plague has worked since launch.
Edit: Aka plague is designed in a way so survivors can always cleanse.
I still know that fountains reset after all of them are corrupted but my point is that go to first page and read @Killing_Time's comment and specifially number 2 and number 4.
Get it now?

Fountains automatically give her Corrupt Purge when there's none left because they've all been used. Then they reset. Not sure how many reset, but there are never 0 useable fountains at any time.
I know but this person said that fountains should not reset and fully infected survivors cant repair gens. Problem is that there would be games where every fountain would be red and every survivor fully infected which gives her chance to take game hostage and keep survivors there to make them quit.
-
@Killing_Time said:
All she really needs is...
1. Using fountains DOES NOT FULLY HEAL SURVIVOR, IT JUST REMOVES INFECTION.
2. If all fountains safe corrupt, they REMAIN CORRUPT!
3. Gens with vomit on them causes regression.
4. Fully infected survivors can't repair gens.
4 is worst change I've ever seen. If survivors cleanse and she refuses to use corrupt purge while infecting them again would make her taking game hostage when survivors cant do gens and there's no fountains left.
And there is players who would do this because they just want to ruin game and be douchebags.

To me Steve is survivor I hate. Sounds he make are irritating, they usually go down quickly and are first ones to die. They don't do gens and are more scared of killers than urban evading Claudettes + what comes to hpok rescues, most times without BT and refuses to take hit so killer catch that same survivor again while Steve is probably hiding and thinking "Damn, that was scary"
Killer must be Hag, Im not fan of proxicamping with traps all over a hook making saving a lot harder. You get hooked at the basement and there is no chance to escape without BT. Most of the times even BT isn't helping when killer just waits it to end and you still are close to basement to go back there.

If a match goes on long enough, you can literally not be able to reach tier 3 anymore as myers. This is also an issue I just ran into in a game where tombstone piece took enough energy that I wasn't able to reach tier 3 again because I had fully stalked the 3 remaining survivors.
Why does his mechanic work like this? Deathslinger doesn't run out of gunpowder. Huntress and Trickster don't run out of hatchets. When pig runs out of traps she can still crouch. Ghostface can't run out of stalk.
I understand that you shouldn't be able to stalk the same survivor to get all your power, but the stalk potential of survivors not being stalked should recharge when you're stalking another survivor. I shouldn't be punished and denied my power because I didn't fully stalk someone enough.
They can just stalk afk person to get evil witginh right away again and again and again

With Tombstone Myers you ususally get entity displeased even you kill them all. Survivors just played badly by getting downed fast and sitting on gens. ######### happens

3 games as him and I'm the first found and tunnelled in all 3, before I even got to use the first flashbang against each. Was PH, Legion and Wraith. The last 2 just didn't leave me alone although I gave the Legion the round around for a large part of my last life.
Do Leon's get hated on much? As killer im wary of his flashbangs but I don't see the need to pick on him
Same happened to me when I played against Ghostface. Other survivors even tried to take hits but of course this ######### killer decided to tunnel me out

I honestly don't think introducing more objectives is a good fix for ######### maps. I think a lot of maps are just way to tilted in survivors favor. That it makes it impossible for a lot of killers to get the pressure they need.
That's my opinions though. I don't think gen speeds are an issue. I don't think more objectives need added. I just think maps need balanced in a way that is fair for killers and survivors.
And makes Lery's, Glendale etc.. unplayable..

Dead Hard is probably one of the best designed perks for Survivors in the entire game. The reason I say this is because it requires the most interaction and precise timing of all of the perks in the survivors arsenal as well as giving the survivor plenty of opportunities to use it. It requires you to juggle running, looking behind you and judging when to use it at the most optimal time. If you use it well as a survivor, you get the most satisfaction because the timing to use it is so precise. It also gives Killers the change to interact with the survivor by attempting to have the survivor use it at a bad time. Plus it gives plenty of opportunity to use it badly.
It is buggy because of lag and a lot of times it causes the survivor to end of on the ground, exhausted and the code can be improved. I do think Sprint Burst and Lithe are better perks and will always use Sprint Burst over Dead Hard, however I appreciate the Devs design of Dead Hard and will play it every once in a while. (Because of tunneling, Sprint Burst is the best perk to prevent that and I usually wind up regretting not running Sprint Burst).
I think flashbang is another very well designed perk that allows Survivors the ability to affect the outcome of the game with a perk that is more skill based and usefulness than other perks. Distraction is another well designed perk.
Smash Hit, although it is another perk that requires skill to get the most from it, has the major downfall of it not have enough opportunities to use it. If it gave you 2 seconds of speed after throwing a pallet and 4 seconds of speed after stunning a killer with a pallet, I think it would be better designed because it gives more opportunities for use.
What is this "Distraction" perk? Diversion? Deception? Red Herring?

Which would be even more of a reason not to do it because the good looper wouldn't be looping if she just doesn't chase them
You know there is 4 survivors? One holding Victor, 1 looping Charlotte and 2 doing gens. What a great way to apply pressure and playing m1 killer without power. Even when you catch that one looping survivor, those 2 other survivors had atleast 2 gens or more done. Then you need to find next one while that hooked survivor is already unhooked and there is still 2 survivors doing gens.
-
Well, commit to survivor with Victor- 3 survivors working gens- 2 or 3 gens done
Chase survivor who is repairing- he can run you atleast minute because you have no power while two survivors are doing gens - 2 gens done.
It's lose-lose situation to her. No matter what, there will be atleast 2 gens done.
Do same again and congrats, you have 2 hooks in game, both first or second phase and lost 4 gens. Good luck trying to do it third time when those 2 survivors just finish last gen and you need to camp to secure that 1 kill.
Holding Victor is better idea than give it back to her so she can catch you even faster and patrol gens at the same time.
-
@TruffleTurtle said:

No what I mean is the Charlotte realizes what they are doing and just don't call him back because in many situation it actually benefits her
Then she is killer without power. I'll take 100/100 times that instead of that little rascal running around a map.
Also people who does that are usually pretty good runners and it doesn't benefit killer at all when they run already repaired gens so other survivors can easily repair remaining gens.
-
So if I play as "Basement Trapper" and survivors bring cakes, I'm forced to play with 0 perks normal game?

I just played a game where a survivor would jump into a locker. I literally watched with my very eyes as the survivor got into a locker. And I would open the exact locker that I SAW THEM GET INTO. When I opened the locker, they were just gone. Vanished into thin air. That is cheating or a very nasty bug. The description of Deception says that no scratch marks are left when dashing into a locker or whatever, but it never said anything about the survivor completely vanishing. While this may be fine and dandy for the survivor, it caught me off guard and I was getting really pissed off. The players insisted that this is how Deception is supposed to work and they didn't understand why I saw what I saw. However, what I witnessed was a total hack/bug/exploit. This is Dead by Daylight, not David fricking Copperfield. Please explain this voodoo.
Maybe Q&Q and hopped to next locker. You can do it faster than Deception locker doors close. Other than that I have no idea what it could be.

Biggest fix is very easy for keys.
Hatch should only spawn if only 1 survivor left alive, there fixed.
I dont understand why devs wont do this.
Also if 2 survivor left alive, with gens to be done, not doing gens after 1 min, should make endgame collapse to start.
So easy to fix problems
That would just help those 2 survivors if they have 3 genned themself. Not that good idea anymore, right?

The reason I run BBQ is to get all my BPs and then I usually go dump them i to my survivors ^^ but if I only played survivor I would always have wglf on.
I agree. BBQ and WGLF is must go for players who like to obtain more bloodpoints. Only change I would make is to get stacks to WGLF from healing someone from dying state to injured to compare it to BBQ. It's easy to get 3 stack to WGLF when game is going good and you can trade hook for someone. That's 3 stacks already. I would make that healing to 1 more stack because flashlight saves is hard for someone who doesn't use flashlights and you can get 1 pallet save in 20 matches if you get lucky.

The guy simply quits, i do feel a bit sad about him, we did destroyed him quite badly.

Tell that to all those boring swf’s with 3 or 4 event toolboxes, each with a BNP. Then, when everyone is on death hook (because I play ultra nice) the 3man is teabagging at the exit gate while the poor random (the only one who collected a crown) is struggling on hook.
Not even a gg after I basically invited them to save that poor soul.
After three of those games in a row I just switched to survivor. Hopefully those survivors are getting the killers they deserve.
After 50 games K haven't seen a single BNP add-ons. Just today had a 4 hour stretch and 0 BNP's 0 Mori's and got 1 500 000 points. Stop crying about add-ons or offerings. Both sides,really, stop crying.

Survivor mains are starting to leave the game. This is because of the all strong killers and strong meta perks out there like Corrupt Intervention, Ruin + Undying, Tinkerer, Discordance, Bamboozle, Pop Goes The Weasel and more.
As for the killers people leave the game because of Blight, Nurse, Spirit, Huntress, Deathslinger and Hag ( basically all strong and unfair killers).
You can counter survivor meta EXTREMELY EASY. For example:
Borrowed Time; Go for the unhooker
Decisive Strike; Dont tunnel
Unbreakable; Dont Slug
Dead Hard; Bait it.
Killer meta perks on the other hand are harder to counter.
You cant counter Tinkerer, you cant counter Pop Goes The Weasel, you can counter Ruin + Undying but it takes so much time. You can counter NOED but it takes so much time, you cant counter bamboozle.
As you can see there are a lot of survivor perks that can be countered so easily. but you cant counter most of the killer perks. Survivors are running out of resources and some survivor perks are nerfed already (Decisive Strike, Borrowed time etc.) These are the reasons why survivors are starting to leave the game. And honestly, I hope they focus on the survivors instead of the killers. Because killer perks are starting to get strong and killers are becoming so unfun and boring to play against (Especially Deathslinger). So yeah i hope they do something about this.
Tinkerer- keep your eyes open.
Pop- don't repair gens until killer has lookedit after hooking survivor.
Bamboozle- if killer vaults. Leave the loop if you can't run him for 15 seconds. Cow tree is easy loop to spend more than 15 seconds without dropping pallet and bamboozle is gone
Ruin + Undying- Cleanse totems.
Corrupt- you should go for middle gens first so it's no matter if killer uses it or not.

Do the devs ever even bother doing anything about these kinds of players? I've been playing since patch 2.8.0 and people like this have always been around and been frustrating. I don't think a single thing has been done by the devs since I started playing to punish or discourage people from playing like this. I understand DBD can be a pretty toxic game and its just kinda accepted by the community, but their comes a point when it just starts being frustrating as all hell and I wish the devs would a put a little more effort into punishing people who do stuff like this. The same goes for leavers and with the DC penalty gone at the moment people are DCing more than ever. Am I the only who feels this way or does anyone else feel the same way?
Side note, this was a solo game and I wasn't tea bagging or being toxic. I almost have a 1000 hours in the game at this point so I can assure you this isn't my first time encountering people working together just at a point where I've had enough of people leaving and teamming and ruining the game for the rest of us, as killers or survivors.
Well. You deserve it with key. Facecamping isn't bannable offense, so isn't camping and tunneling. Move on to next game.

I play the game an average of 3-5 hours every few days or a total of about 20, 25 hours a week. I'm an average player and do make sure to always have a Rift challenge going, but absolutely do not focus exclusively on the current tome. I bounce my challenges between all the different tomes. On this current Rift I am at about level 55 or so, despite not having specifically focused on achieving that goal, and thus decided to purchase the Rift pass. Because the Rift gives back rewards in the form of Auric Cells the pass cost me four dollars, the rest of which I should easily get back if I continue playing as I have been. I have to admit, I'm quite satisfied with my first Rift purchase and plan on getting more in the future.
Now having said that, I'm playing on PC which is the gaming machine that currently has the least amount of problems. Given how much trouble many players have reported, especially console players, I think it's perfectly reasonable to request that the duration of the current Rift be extended to compensate for their inability to play the game as they would otherwise normally be able to.
You are kinda slow then because I've been tier 70 for few weeks now and had only 15-20 hours playtime in a week. Also this game isn't unplayable on console so they should not extend rift time. Not because Im tier 70, reason is that tiering up is too easy and everyone who plays few days a week should easily reach tier 70.
