  • Map design is a bigger issue than all of those combined.

  • I would quit this game without Lightborn, my lord and savior. So, I would literally have to pick Hillbilly, which is fine, in some ways I consider him to be among the most fun killers. I would just need to get my curves on point and facecamping would start taking a tiny bit of effort. I could live with that.

Kate already carries me, she is an obvious choice. Not necessarily my favorite, but I need those perks, cuh.

  • Fam, it is really important for you to disassociate. Look, how about this, I accidentally stayed up all night watching Karen videos, I suggest you search a quick Karen meltdown. Literally any of them will do. You will surely come to the same conclusion as any reasonable person would, "what is wrong with people, how is such entitlement even possible?" Now apply that to DBD survivors who type incomprehensible nonsense. What is the inherent difference? There is none. You would never take a Karen seriously. Don't take this walking circus seriously either.

You dealt with the mongrels by camping them, great. They got mad because you didn't let them walk all over you... Take pride in that. Do not let them ruin the game for you. That is what those animals want.

  • ABSOLUTELY NOT! You cannot just buff an A tier killer that much, she might become better than Nurse. Just like Artist did.

SoloQ is almost perfectly fine if Survivors just knew how to play, yes

Exactly, to be perfectly honest, with how bad survivors are... I genuinely understand the crowd that believes the game is killer sided. You get 2 or 3 of those bozos on your team and even the most inept killers are going to get you. There are people who play this game as a job and I would hate to have them as teammates. And naturally they are the ones complaining about their teammates because they somehow lack a basic understanding even after 2k hours and a heavy survivor bias to boot.

I would hate to say it, but all the killer nerfs are almost justified when you consider the average skill of the average player. It is unfortunate that good players have the deck stacked against them, but dare I say it is a necessary evil for a functional game.

  • If survivors want to win THAT badly, I could care less. I never expect integrity from them to begin with, so I am rarely if ever disappointed.

I just AFK in the corner if there is a blatant cheater so as to not give them the attention they desperately crave. If they are subtle, I guess we get to test their limits as I personally double down on sus players just because I prefer chasing the good ones.

  • I play them all, so I do not have the privilege of forgetting that they exist.

  • Nemesis is my go to when I want bloodpoints or pips. He is just so efficient with the in-game systems.

  • I honestly recommend never respecting pallets. If you take a stun, you take a stun. The benefits will far out weigh the consequences. At least to start. Once you have a read on the survivor, you can respect them to save a few seconds. The same applies to breaking, break every safe pallet instantly. On the 50/50 pallets, you can test the waters, if they are running it well, just break. And contrary to the earlier advice, NEVER break the unsafe pallets. You WANT survivors to think they can use it. Obviously the smart ones will rarely take the bait, but you never know.

  • Knock yourself out. It is one of Pig's most fun playstyles and not against the rules whatsoever.

  • It is reportable, for you. The survivors can report YOU for "taking the game hostage" as you play your objective, or afk. Doesn't matter really, what matters is that the survivors who refuse to play are being held hostage. Yes, the game is so survivor sided that even the rules are rigged. I wish I was joking, but I am being 100% at the moment.

The good news is I doubt they would actually report for it. Even the most delusional of survivor mains wouldn't think to report you, thankfully. But if they did and sent the video, you would likely get suspended. Lol.

  • The Game is not even close to the most survivor sided map in DBD. Which is kind of sad when you think about it.

  • To be real with you, once that spark is gone, it is just gone. I have been trying to take a break from Overwatch for so long and every time I pop back in to play a match, I am reminded why I left. Idk, I just think 5 years of something with only negative changes is unsalvagable.

That being said, DBD did make some improvements and it at least adds content. So the comparison is kind of moot. But an 8 month break is a heavy commitment. I kind of doubt it will work out. Best of luck to you, regardless.

Survivor has it easy, the only time that there is a sense of pressure is when the killer devotes 100% attention to one person.

Ps. Tunneling is fair as the devs stated that survivors are treated as a 1v1 for balance purposes.

It really is not fair though. The game is asymmetrical and the killer has huge favor in a 1v1. The game is so survivor sided that it can seem to not be the case as gens can be finished before a map is rid of all pallets... But still, that is just further to the point that it is not "fair." I am not saying it has to be fair either, but it sure as hell is not, either way you slice it.

I am not anti tunnel either, but facts is facts, cuh.

  • No, I am quite good at actually just insulting people. I would surely get banned if I were to share some of my more creative ones. Or the default ones, honestly... I am not a particularly nice person when someone steps up.

But bag of 🍋 sounds sour, fam. I am going to start using that one on my path to becoming a better person.

  • 4 kills with a DC counting as a kill would be nice and mirror survivor adepts. Either that, or change survivors to need quadruple Iri.

Just a joke. Please don't do that Behavior, I know you love the idea right as you read it, but I insist I was being facetious.

  • Honestly, I think you are having such a horrible time specifically because you are going for adepts. Finding a survivor lobby that is both bad enough and cooperative enough is like finding a needle in the haystack unless you are low mmr. After Sadako, I convinced myself to go for them for all iconic film killers and the ONLY reason I got Freddy, who was high mmr, was because they turned off mmr for one of the early tests.

  • It requires a decent bit of game sense, you even see good survivors screw it up while throwing down for content. Like, the skill gap on it is quite high, actually. I personally do not even use it because I am not there as a survivor yet. I get more value out of Lithe.

  • I honestly agree, with the title, at least. I bet people would have a lot more fun against competent survivors if they stopped using a 4k as the golden standard. It has been MONTHS of mmr. If they haven't gotten the picture yet, they never will.

  • It is basically playing the game on narrative mode, not going to lie.

What counterplay? This happened in a match that I was in and TWO of us had the same box that she happened to be blocking. Hatch wouldn't have been an option unless one of us killed ourselves on purpose. It's trash and it's boring gameplay and yall need to stop justifying playing like garbage

It is actually really thrilling gameplay. My heart goes doki doki and I get butterflies in my stomach as I watch the action from a safe distance. I do not believe it is fair to say that I am playing like garbage when I am not playing at all... I am eating popcorn, fam. Do you want me to get butter on my controller?

Oh I’m not complaining. I used it a lot myself, it just shouldn’t have been as easy to do as it often was.

It’s good to see changes that may make game conditions more threatening and safe plays a lil less safe.

My bad, I didn't mean to imply that you were complaining. I am just surprised this change happened and I assume it was because of negative feedback. But you never know with Behavior, they might have just felt like it.

  • You know how long those queues are, cuh? Just afk, please. If they want out, don't worry, the gens will pop in 3 minutes flat if you decided to afk from the start. Rofl.

Survivors aren't afraid of killers because it's a video game lmao.

Wow, really? I thought this was real life. Thanks for your insight, Seanzu, I never thought about it that way before.

  • Well, I mean, honestly, you COULD use them that way. Not that I would know anything about that. I am a sweet innocent.

  • Why wouldn't they use Dead Hard?

  • @pseudechis said:

I think its a step in the right direction too.

Outside of facing a really experienced killer, survivor is often just really safe to play. (I'm not saying the game is survivor sided its possible to beat even the most coordinated teams).

It just lacks something as a lot of gameplay isn't that threatening. When you got time to pause and heal mid chase something is kinda off. This is a step in the right direction.

Although I'll miss the power of 99'ing your heal, DH for pallet and then pop the full heal to reset 100% of killer pressure mid chase, but lets be real that shouldn't be a scenario in the first place.

Eh, if you can heal mid chase, you deserve it as far as I am concerned. The game is HELLA survivor sided, but not for this reason. That is just silly to complain about, in my opinion.

  • The meta is not strong because... Second chances are high risk? What in the? It has been a week, son. April Fools is over.

  • To be fair, hook bombing is annoying. The second they do that, I go into hard-core facecamp mode regardless of my killer. I am not going to leave once you show me that card. Hell to the nah.

My perks would only activate when I was in a match with Trickster. I'll share the names of the perks.

    - On My Knees

    - On His Shoulders

    - Hunger

    That's all I'm sharing 😃

I... I can respect that first perk.

nope, and to think of it....bhvr should pay me for what i'm doing as a killer. i go up against new players 8 of the 10 matches, i put on pressure with hooks, never camp or tunnel and chase them down so they can learn to loop......in the end they all go free. Why?

When i started this game i ran into killers that played for fun and non toxic....these matches always made me happy as a noob.

now, you never get hatch again almost every killer goes for the 4k in a way that makes you think his life dependse on it.....and no need to discuss the amount of proxy camping tunneling players......so yeah, i main a trrapper now to balance the toxicity ( in my mind atleast).....and the amount of thank you or fun games i get in the end......

I play as toxic as humanly possible to try and balance out what survivors do to other killers. But I am just one man, I could never hope to match their wasteland of degeneracy and then you insult my mission in life by counteracting all of my efforts? For shame, toastcrusher.

  • Just yanking them off gens as a stealth killer would probably scare them more than Lightborn.

  • If that change was enough to get you excited, I am surprised you ever left. Maybe you just needed a break, it happens. You do not need to commit to leaving. You can just chill and wait until the mood returns.

  • Take it up with survivor mains. As if anyone can explain their reasoning, it is beyond our understanding.

  • I try not to think about all of the easy common sense changes that would improve the game BECAUSE it makes me feel disappointed.

  • You are very welcome, Eloise.

  • Midwich is the best killer map in the game (after they removed Hawkins, anyway, that is the real reason they didn't reskin it, obviously) for whatever that is worth. Literally every map is survivor sided, so... Every killer gets bad maps when they play?

If you have specific ones you are more comfortable on, you could try bringing offerings. But realistically it is better to just learn the maps and deal with them.

  • Abuse their altruism and counterplay their usual shenanigans. Do not treat it like a normal match, you need to remember they love each other, they are the types who hold hands while going to the bathroom together. Therefore it becomes quite easy to predict what they want to accomplish.

Tunnel a rat out, do not go after the one that blatantly wants your attention. Only take a free hit if you absolutely have to. BM them at your first opportunity as it will trigger them all and they will take greater risks to take some respect back.

Do not worry about gens too much, those will fly if they want to do them. Instead, execute your end game well and they will crumble, like most boosted survivors that skew the stats of the kill rates.

DS isn't needed to avoid tunneling, you could just play better and not get downed

But what if you get sandbagged? DS is a great back up. Never trust your useless teammates.

  • They only rework killers when it affects survivors. Old Legion and Freddy being the obvious examples.

  • Do whatever you want. Survivors wouldn't appreciate you going easier on them anyways. They would just believe they are somehow ultra talented, that you are trash, and blah blah blah.

I personally go easier on them because if there is anything in this world more pathetic than a survivor elitist, it is a baby raging survivor elitist who leaves their team to face the consequences of their actions.

But by all means, kill those suckers. They would find something to complain about even if nobody left the game. I am just a better person than them, so I show humility, naturally.

  • @dugman said:

I like teleporting. 🙂 But I doubt the next killer will be a teleporter or stealth killer since it would be mechanically too similar to Sadako who just came out last month.

Personally I'm still rooting for a Medusa style killer that, while survivors are looking at her, they build up negative conditions. So it would be a killer that you're actually actively trying not to look at during chases and on gens.

I love that idea, but it is too creative for them. We aren't allowed to have unique killers.

  • You know the game state is bad when you let Iron Will slide from the red underline treatment.

  • To be fair, Boons would be useless if you actually had time to snuff them.

  • @Spifferoni said:

for anyone curious now that the event has ended the one ritual I had left over is still at 60k

Nice. Sounds great. I still have 3 of those, I have just been taking a break. So you know how it is. Thanks for confirming.

If you are not toxic chances of you getting down voted are low but you're toxic aren't you?

Nah, I get salty survivors even when I play by the handbook better than they even understand their own handbook. That being said, of course I get more of them when I do the opposite of their gospel, naturally.

  • Bullies. Even weirdo wannabe online bullies, bully who they CAN bully. I mean, I wish people irl would stop bullying the weak and innocent and step up to me, but it just doesn't work that way. They are afraid of the people who desire them and feed off the people who fear them. That's just the way it is.

  • Solo queue is the reason the game is designed as it is... Like, there genuinely is not much more they can do.

Personally, I feel adding voice chat to the game would go a long way to closing the gap. But survivor mains know survivor mains best, ain't no way you could convince them of a system that HEAVILY benefits them as they know the killer would stop being the scapegoat for all toxicity. Rofl.

I'm seeing this used more lately

Wonder Why people weren't using it when no way out was buffed back then

People wouldn't know the meta if it Dab Harded into their proverbial Killer Shack, cuh. They literally need content creators to tell them what is good, and then the other half that believe they are free thinkers tell us that Sadako is good to be edgy or something. It is a mess...

Or you could, you know, look at what he's talking about in context. He was trying to win 30 games in row. He wasn't losing every game. He was losing every 15th game. Sadako is also desperately in need of some love, but she's also a free win if you get an indoor map. Sure, there are some frustrating games every now and then as a killer, but if you're matched with survivors of your skill level, you're going to win far more than you lose.

So you are saying if he just spammed map offerings, he would get his streak? Ha ha ha... You people are funny.
