Not until a boon makes its way to the Shrine.
-
This is a really interesting idea. I already got the 4k with condemned moris, so I might want to go for this to truly complete the Sadako experience. I just never really run into her, that might be the hardest part of the challenge. Lol.
-
To be fair, Artist only extends the chase because she forces them to hold w. It is only an extension if they were bad survivors. On good survivors, it cuts the chase time substantially. Not that I particularly believe she is as good as survivor mains do. No way in help she is a tier. That is some copium.
-
They change the music, correct? That is really all I care about because I am quite sure none of them will magically make Legion playable. They should add one where it blasts crunkcore in the survivors ear phones so they cannot hear in-game audio.
-
It kind of depends on their tier list, I would argue, but generally speaking, yes... She is extremely overrated and the copium regarding her is relatively unprecedented.

Killer doesn't need skill either. You just hold W until you're close enough to hit M1 and damage the survivor. Skillful play right?
Let's not forget what the other face of RPD is: completely useless pallets that might as well not be there that you don't even need to break ever, extremely narrow and empty hallways, and an absolute hell to navigate often leading to survivors on hook ending up to ph2 because of the awful lot of time it requires to get there.
The game is is also balanced around bad killers, otherwise they wouldn't be releasing all these slowdown perks that you can stack together and that carry the worst players into getting undeserved kills by slowing the game at an unreasonable level and let them pretend they're good at the game
:)
Are you implying that RPD is killer sided, or neutral? This is a prime example of why they cannot balance the game at higher levels.
-
The unfortunate reality is that you cannot. It would ruin the game at lower levels. Killer is already overpowered down there and survivor is the playerbase we need in far more abundance.
-
Mmr... He used to be usable when your opponents were less than stellar. Against people who know what they are doing, he is not the Nightmare, the survivors are.
I took advantage of this mmr test to get his adept first try. I was actually scared I would NEVER get it. Thankfully I got to play my baby one more time against normal players.
-
I just want them all to be viable. Honestly, Nurse is poorly designed and probably the worst example of how anyone should want killer to perform in the game. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

Why do you consider the hemmorage change a nerf out of curiosity? You would prefer more blood over heal regression?
Just to be clear, I'm not saying I disagree necessarily, I just haven't heard/seen a point made against it till now outside CoH existing.
Well, when a survivor is Interrupted while healing, I am going to commit to them and get the down. The regression is pointless unless they would have managed to escape, in which case, it still doesn't matter because they escaped and will get healed regardless. You might say it earned you time. But if they got away and still managed to heal, you are already so behind that realistically you aren't winning outside of some obscene circumstances.
Even letting survivors get to the point where they are healing in the first place is already a misplay at higher levels, quite frankly. That means you just let them go instead of tunneling them out, which would be an odd decision if you were trying to win.
If they were body blocking your tunnel victim, you wouldn't have time to interrupt them regardless. So it has no influence on the outcome.
It provides absolutely nothing to me if I am trying to win. At least hemmorage helps you find people when the scratch marks are bugging out. It is not much, but it was something...

Coldwind has a Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibe now I love how it looks
Exactly, this is the one map where I feel the design direction was substantially improved. The rest? I kind of prefer the older ones, even if I wasn't around back then to enjoy them. They were just more varied and atmospheric.
-
Sadako is as busted as they feared... During this mmr test. Too bad she will never be viable against competent survivors, but I highly recommend anyone who disliked when she launched to abuse the fact that there is no mmr at the moment.

Are you the same guy who asks about scooby doo being added to dbd?
Scooby-Doo would be a great addition to DBD, to be fair. We got Stranger Things. So, like, why not?

It will never stop.
I never wanted to believe that these forums are a cesspool for crying killer mains b/c I thought people were better than that, but I think I was wrong.
Honestly, those buffs are trash. I would rather not have them at all. I genuinely do not understand why they even bothered. My theory is because so many people play those two, they just felt it made sense to give them some quality of life updates as it wouldn't be a waste of resources given people actually play them. However, to suggest those changes were an actual attempt at bumping either killer up a tier is laughable at best and realistically only something a survivor main would say, in my humble opinion.
Especially when they nerfed hemmorage and presented it as a buff. I am not sure who is supposed to fall for that. It reminds me of when a developer actually stated hit validation was killer favored... Before they reverted it. Do not get me wrong, I am glad they reverted it. The best change they ever made and it shocks me to this day that they actually fixed it. However, just the fact that they even tried to gaslight us leaves me feeling slightly disturbed.
I digress, I will stop pointing out the discrepancy when the discrepancy ceases to exist. Not that I expect it to, and personally? I am biased in favor of keeping the game survivor sided. I am not going to lie about it for internet points, though. And I do not care if the usual suspects have an issue with it.
-
DS is the best survivor perk even in its "nerfed" state, no idea why people circlejerk about it as though it functionally changed. I guess it proves how little understanding of the game they have which is fair enough. Most intelligent people are not going to take a party game particularly seriously and therefore the conversation is driven by those that do. Rofl...
-
I almost lost my adept Freddy to this nonsense today. These hook spawns, bruh. Luckily this mmr test is full of potato survivors, so it was easy to salvage. But still.

A win for killer is a 3 or 4k and a win for survivor should be a 3 or 4 man out. The problem is they treat survivor as a 1v1v1v1 while killer is a 4v1... If they actually changed survivors goal to get as many out as possible then the game would be better.
Honestly, if they just favored teamplay over selfishness, the game would play better. Forget about win conditions. People just fixate on those. You should gain or lose mmr based on your contribution.
Killer is fine with kill based mmr in my opinion. I know that one is not particularly popular, however.

Hey stop with the mid loop unhooks or just poor unhooking choices. If the killers nearby and is sorta camping work on gens put some pressure on so they leave the area. And if not literally let me die on the hook it's not a big deal. I'm sick of being unhooked staring at a red stain instantly being hit with no bt and watch you push infront of me and run away with out taking a protection hit.
I'm not the best player by any means but I do know when to unhook safely and when to keep my butt on generators. That's what kindred if for.
Altruism gonna be the death of you and the whole game.
Sorry for the rant I'm just sick of it lol and you know it's bad when a mediocre player is complaining.
The worst part is you are just being humble. The fact that you understand this concept proves you are an above average survivor.
-
Pre drop them. Do not camp them. They removed the survivor sided hit validation mechanic.
-
No idea about survivor. It is actually hard to rank up as survivor, in my opinion. Killer? You just farm emblems.

Does bleeding frequency stay? I use it with bloodhound to track survivors more easily.
If it doesn't. It is a lowkey nerf regardless of whatever low tier killers reacting on YouTube would believe. I actually cannot believe they are nerfing hemorrhage of all things. We are on another level...
-
I am on console. I can't say anything after hitting you on hook, and shaking my head. If I could, I would certainly hit them with a nice gg ez.
-
As a killer main, I do not necessarily support it. I do not oppose it either. Like, whatever. If I am playing for fun, I will rarely do it unless a survivor asks for it. If I am playing to win, I will brutalize you regardless of how sweet you seem to be. Challenges need to get done, cuh.
-
This is either satire, or some pure Kokopium. Not sure which, but thank you for making me smile.

Cans? Is that a typo or am I just old and don't know video game lingo like I used to?
I get what your saying though and my original point is moot anyway. I don't know why but I could have swore when they changed the grades to MMR they made grades work the same no matter what category you were in.
Oh, it is a boxing term, short for tomato can. Basically free wins on people outside of your skill bracket.
-
Are you jealous of my high level Bubba play? You wish you could be as skilled as I am?
-
Sometimes the community is too inept to understand why things are the way they are. The fixation on the mmr boogeyman is proof enough of that.
-
FNAF will probably do it. I am feeling a bit of burnout from grinding so hard for Sadako, so I might take a short break, but definitely expect to return for anniversary. I still love the game, but I was forcing myself to do so many annoying challenges and play WAY too much survivor for a healthy mental state.

So you know, ranks don't effect matchmaking at all. You'll still get the same people whether you're red rank 1 or you just reset. The only way your matches might be better is because there may be more people playing on reset so you'll have a chance of getting people closer to your MMR.
As for OP, best of luck to you. I got it on my second game but her perks do not do much for you on their own.
Adept is more about finding cans anyways. Perks are irrelevant. They would be just as easy/hard if you had to run the Otzdarva challenge.

That is a perfectly rational thing to feel sometimes, it can be pretty hilarious when an obsessed crowd gets hit with something other than what they wanted (coming from a sane fnaf fan)
I would not call being overly emotional... Rational, unless you were looking for antonyms.

Oh yeah, it is rare to find someone who is still passionate about their love for DBD. I often feel so alone, but lucky for me, I love reading complaints. So it all works out well.
-
Who cares? You can crash the lobby if they are stupid enough to send you there.
-
I run Iron Grasp and Agitation... So, I do not know, I just destroy these kids without needing to slug to be honest. But yeah, I wouldn't be afraid to bleed them out if they asked for it.
-
I am not sure about S, but she has been one of the best killers for awhile.
-
I am really excited that we are going to get Five Nights at Freddy's for the anniversary. I always wanted it just because everyone else didn't want it.
-
I honestly couldn't say, outside of EGC, it doesn't happen to me often. My sister is a magnet for those rodents, however. Her rate is probably a good 15%.
-
I have a way easier time hitting Iri as a killer than a survivor, to be honest. Not a surprise given I am quite good at killer and... Um, well, mediocre at survivor, to put it mildly.
-
@MrPenguin said:
"So basically just a basic attack killer?"
Yes.
"I've tried spamming rteleports"
Condemn was intended to be a time waster, but as is now it can pretty much be ignored afaik. So pretty much act like its not even there, focus on using TV's to be at key locations when needed.
"I see others complaining this killer is OP"
Those people have no idea what they're talking about.
I honestly just cringe when I read posts that believe she is good. It is literally not even worth the time it takes to type a "no u" in response to someone that somehow believes that nonsense.
-
I honestly just feel there are two types of killers, the ones who understand the game, and those who do not. MMR is a reflection of that. I do not believe there is anything complicated going on behind the scenes.
-
I do not believe you understand, releasing "c" tier killers is their goal.
-
@Heartbound said:
How else are you supposed to get the Basement Time score event points? I've got this mental image of a zombie camping the top of the stairs and nobody wanting to get hit, but let's be honest, this is the next meta.
Killers stay out. The basement belongs to SURVIVORS.
I beg to differ. The basement is mine, but there is plenty of room for all 4 survivors if they want some love.
-
@GuyFawx said:
If you are getting camped the fault is your own and nobody elses at least your preventing the killer from getting maxiumum bp
Huh? No. Getting camped is literally the fault of every other member of the team and the killer. Unless it is a Bubba, in which case, just the killers fault.
The person on hook is not responsible for that unless you are talking about them "deserving" it. But then you say that the hooked survivor is the one preventing the killer from getting max BP. So I think the issue is more you have some really warped sense of reality.
-
My list is relatively similar, but I get WAY more Kate, David and Dwight. I would throw them in A ahead of the 3 you run into more often.
Ace probably would be in low b or high c. Other than that, pretty close to what I experience. Or at least what I think I am experiencing.
-
The tvs are literally not active long enough to maintain a 3 gen, and all it would take it is for one semi-competent survivor to strip your power and cleanse before they proceed to win the war of attrition. I will admit the chances of that are relatively low if they 3 gen themselves WHILE you are camping and tunneling someone out of the game. But I could wreck that caliber of survivor with the Otzdarva challenge on whoever it is you people actually think is a weak killer. I could do it on Trapper without using his traps.
Do not get me wrong, she has potential to get cheeky relative to other m1 killers in the same situation, but I fail to see how that makes her "good."
-
Yes, people who win games get put against other people winning games. That is how it should work. I do not care if some fruit loop believes running a baby for 5 gens or 8 hooking garbage survivors is skill. Enjoy it in the mmr bracket you SHOULD be playing in.
-
Pro tip, if tons of people are whining about it, it is probably powerful and you should abuse it if you want to do well.
-
If I am playing to win, I am obviously going to do what no other killer does... Play optimally. In no world do I chase you until I slug for the 4k and most pallets are gone.
If I am playing for fun, I do not care. If anything, someone good enough to run me for 5 gens is EXACTLY the person I want to chase.
