It strange she still weak after buff.
It is not strange at all given they didn't address any of her problems, they just made her more fluid to play.

The lullaby is a bit like current Huntress' or Freddy's in that it's completely non-directional and remains a constant volume no matter how close you are. It tells the survivors you are ~5 seconds away but that's it, they must then within the 5 seconds decide on a direction to run that isn't directly into you, or find a loop nearby.
Unlike Huntress and Freddy though, her TR and lullaby are a lot smaller and she can cover a lot more ground. Also unlike those 2, she is very difficult to see in the first place so without Premonition, good luck.
Finally, her lullaby is a bit like Slinger's old TR in that it's very very quiet. It's incredibly easy to miss it if a gen is at like 50% or more.
She had the lullaby on the PTB too and everyone was praising her stealth. It really doesn't make her any worse.
Oh, nice, thanks for the explanation. I have yet to play against her. I have been REALLY unlucky. That makes me feel a lot better about it.
-
The teleport definitely gives her better pressure than Wraith, and the built in slowdown is... better than nothing, I guess.
But in no world is she better than Wraith. Not even in the land of make believe.

The lullaby does literally nothing to make her stealth worse at all. Especially now it's 24m.
Does it not literally tell them you are nearby? Like, if they are on a gen, and then lullaby kicks in, and then it gets louder, they are going to Usain Bolt, fam.

Not only that, as long as you have the tape and aren't damaged, the killer cannot even take advantage of the Mori. Once they hit, the animation is longer than what it takes to insert the tape. Rofl.

I'm not survivor main and I'm not running dead hard, I guess I have to accept that there are random mechanics that killer can't even use when they want
People play it off as an "excuse." But the random elements of this game can swing the favor of the match quite easily. It is very overlooked by skill elitists who pretend they are playing a balanced game.

You hate to see it. As if a million other things cannot go wrong while trying for an adept, the RNG pity door comes to show you why Mario Party would make a better competitive game. RIP.

Exactly, she is smooth like silk. Still sucks. And no amount of Kokopium will change that.

Let's take a regular rock loop for example, so I've pre dropped pallet, killer starts looping that loop so I can't leave it, for distance I have to pay attention on killer, so I am running around rocks, looking on spirit that sometimes changes her direction, but then suddenly she disappears for second or two, I see only 2 options in this situation, stay and wait a bit which results in a lost distance, and run around the rocks same or different direction, which may result in no distance loosing or complete distance loosing because i've run in to the killer, none of the options is safe, so what should I do?
Use Dead Hard to get to another pallet!
Honestly, I do not know, I have seen it really throw off a lot of survivors I have played against too. I have never played against her, really, so I can't give any specific advice. I am at that level as survivor that I just accept the down if I can't make it to a decent tile.

Another blunder and more ammo for the survivor sided devs argument.
As if I needed any more ammo, I have the action movie cheat code when it comes to Behavior and making survivor decided decisions. The only time since I joined that they shook my faith was what they did to keys and hatch, I cannot even believe the same developers came up with that.

I'm ngl she feels really fun to play + to face from my experience so far. COH neuters her, but it does that to the majority of the roster so what did we really expect, but being able to teleport around the map + just exist as the best stealth killer in all of dbd is so much fun to play + to face.
once they delete coh (so in 14 years) i feel like she'll overtake blight in most fun to play + to face to majority of players unless some wacky exploit gets found .
How is she the best stealth killer with a lullaby?
I prefer to play Ghostface if I genuinely want to be stealthy. I guess maybe you can throw someone off if a tv is placed well by a gen?
-
Some spin you right round baby, right round, like a record baby, right round, round, round survivors are extremely difficult to hit and sometimes it takes me a few tries. It always reminds me of why I am a Bubba main.

Not "game breaking" enough.
This is the only change that I personally consider game breaking and I refuse to play this map until they fix it. I do not care, we aren't going there. If they bring an offering, it is on site. Or actually, it isn't, because we ain't even going to load in, cuh.
-
Sudoku. Or at least that is all I could come up with on short notice. Who cares about the survivor? Raincoat. That is literally how I identify that mofo.
I am sure somebody does.
Put the tape in the highlight CRT.

A lot of his add-ons are terrible, and don't compliment his mediocre basekit. C'mon. Are you one of those people who main a killer, 4k all the time because of bad survivors, and then say the killer, that you yourself main, needs nerfs?
I actually kind of like Nemesis add ons compared to most killers I play, personally. I play add on less, but if I ever end the grind, he will be one of the killers I pour extra bloodpoints into because I would not mind using his.

don't forget, they also re enable the old infinite in the badham school...
Oh my God, I loaded into that map and all of my precious walls were broken. I threw a b fit, bruh. I was whining about it the whole game and swore that I would, from that point forward, use the Scott Jund method.
-
I would rather rework the game itself. Add voice chat for everyone, give basekit Bond, Kindred, Open-handed, and BT, of course, that one is already confirmed.
And then buff killers to be viable. That simple. You fix solo queue (a tiny bit), make SWF more enjoyable, and MAKE KILLERS GREAT AGAIN.

If you think about it thats about the same for any other scrouge hook tbh
I had two of those things right next to a 3 gen and thought, "man, imagine if I was using the good scourge hook perk instead of Sadako's" rofl.
-
@C3Tooth said:
Condem bars act as a soft slowdown for Sadako, not something to fast remove a survivor. Fully Condem survivor gets killed is totally fault survivor, as they ignore it for too long, not being controlled by Sadako.
But problem is Sadako teleport to a TV without any survivor nearby can be super wasteful to her resource. If the range to get Condem increased from 16 to 24m, make the Condem rate has higher chance to be increased.
Or TV re-turned on should be faster.
It really should be 24. Either that, or make her terror radius 16 meters to match it. Give us the cake, Behavior, you can't eat it too. Watch them calories, son.
-
Well, yeah, a bottom tier killer with a fanfic survivor and mediocre perks IS a bit disappointing on paper. However, Sadako is a legend and the idea behind Yoichi is inspired, ar least. And personally, at least one killer perk is fun and one survivor perk is busted. So, all in all, I rate 8/8 m8. No NFTs, and no performance issues make this the best release since I joined the game, at least!

How so getting a survivor to basement cant be guaranteed every game. It should reward the killer for sticking them in basement. Though your idea is solid I wont lie
Hey, man, I wouldn't complain. I love the Basement so much I apparently type it out as a proper noun. I just imagine it would be very, very strong if you ever got a snowball going.
-
It sounds like a lot of fun. The odds are actually zero, like, there is not even a chance. But still, the idea is really good.
-
Eh, that sounds a bit overpowered. I would rather broken hooks respawn the scourge on a different random hook than making the Basement a 4 way scourge.
-
I do really enjoy the feel of her manifest/demanifest. Really glad I never had to play the prebuff version. I really wish she didn't have a lullaby though, I want to use Monitor and Abuse on her.

Also worth bringing up that the steamchart is, as it says, steam only.
It's generally believed consoles make up the majority of DBDs current playerbase, given the amount of consoles + gamepass and such.
It also doesn't include Windows/Epic which would def only be a small portion I'm sure but still worth considering.
That would shock me given how many crossplay lobbies I get into. Then again, I guess a lot of those might be Xbox Game Pass users.
-
@Aurelle said:
I've played as her a couple times tonight and I find her really fun to play as. Her power definitely has some getting used to, though.
I was shocked about that, I was barely manifesting or teleporting in my first few games. But I started feeling the rhythm and got much better at her. Even got a triple condemnation mori game. I may have been able to 4k, but the damned TV by the gate turned on too late. Yes, they were bad. Really bad.
-
I got my Adept first try by accident WHILE getting a condemnation mori. Not to flex on you, I was just shocked as I thought that would have made it impossible to get the Adept. I wasn't really going for it, truly, as I kind of wanted Bubba to be my only Adept. But I literally didn't have any other decent perks, so I just used her default ones.
It was nothing special, they fed me hooks when they realized I was trying to tunnel Jane out.

Hardcore game mode: no hud, no terror radius, no scratch marks, no red stain, no perks, no SWF, etc.
Just a pure horror game, with jump scares.
I love the idea, man. I would be a bit afraid of no scratch marks as I already lose track of some survivors with them though, lol.

What's the point? To be the survivors' plaything? We knew she was gonna be weak, even before her reveal. And despite that, her buffs were nowhere near enough, like they barely improved her.
I knew she was going to be booty cheeks, but after actually playing her, clearly my hype had me biased in favor of her. Good lord she is awful. Did they nerf the projection range? How the heck are you supposed to get Condemned unless you are inept enough to run in front of the damned TV? Lol.

I think the problem lies in how DBD is designed- around gens. What are the survivors going to do during this early game collapse? They’re just going to hide. Killers already hate immersion and find it boring.
‘The only thing I can think of is giving every killer a version of it that suits to their power or add-ons.
For Legion, everyone has to mend to full health at the start.
Doctor: everyone starts in Tier 3 madness screaming and need to snap out of it
Pig: Amanda’s letter is now base. Everyone starts with a trap on their head, Pig can still carry her usual traps but she can NEVER see the aura of the boxes. Not even with add-ons.
Freddy: everyone starts asleep and can’t wake up for 2 mins. No alarm clocks spawn and failed skill checks don’t work for that duration
Artist: Crows on every gen for the first two mins and flock to you if you get too close. You don’t even have to tap the gen to get swarmed. Either commit or mind your distance.
Plague & Nemesis: survivors always start infected. Nemesis should spawn with 4 more vaccine boxes though, to be fair
Pinhead: chain hunt already in progress at the start. Survivors spawn in with 3 chains attached to them. Pinhead can NOT solve or hear the box for the first two mins of the trial. Box will move to other side of map following Pyramid Head’s torment cage rules if an eagle eyed Pinhead gets too close to the lament box
Huntress: doesn’t hum for the first two minutes of the trial
Those are just a few examples I came up with. Idk man- just spitballin.
Freddy: everyone starts asleep and can’t wake up for 2 mins. No alarm clocks spawn and failed skill checks don’t work for that duration
Woah. Are you trying to break the game, brother? That is absurd. Do we really want more survivors quitting the game?
-
This is the opposite of toxic, they recommended a better game for you, I also recommend Mario. Literally any of them.
-
No, I prefer to wait a year for their solution to the problem rather than addressing the grind now, multiple updates after they acknowledged it was a problem.
-
I would have bought the green drip if it came separately, but now they get nothing. Gg ez, baby devs.

Yeah it can suck playing against randos. I just went against a group that abused double lockers to guarantee escapes. I beat the group anyway, just kept pulling until they ran out of flashlight. And as I'm about to kill the 3rd one with no generators left, they took advantage of the exit gate bug to force crash my game. I'm not usually bitter and I had fun versing them, but to have someone force crash my game really put a bad taste in my mouth.
Why did you not just face a wall?
-
She is an m1 killer, of course people who want to win are going to camp. If you want killers to stop, you need to make viable killers like Nurse or Blight.
-
@bm33 said:
Devout is good with hooks because it encourages not just one hooking everyone with an instadown killer and having more interaction between the survivors and killer in a match.
I do believe that the Adept for killer should not be based off of double pips and Adept for survivor should not just be escaping. Instead they should make both equal - survivor and killer both need to get atleast silver in all categories, or maybe even gold. While they may not be able to adjust old achievements thanks to certain platforms not allowing changes to trophies that are possible to complete they can make the adjustment to future characters added to the game.
I would rather just escape or take a 4k. Why complicate matters with emblems? I guess they thought it was a good idea 5 years ago, but it wasn't.

It would be fine, but ever since Circle of Healing, people are really biased against healing.

On Playstation, the update is never the scary part. It is the copying. What in the lord's name are they copying?

50% across the board is a bit extreme. I prefer they look at the individual maps and adjust the spawn logic.

I dunno I feel one change could make her better
He will be fine. She is a tier and he proved it by facing Otz's elite swf with an afk and someone who managed to condemn themselves. Clearly the cream of the crop swf that haunt my nightmares, but Dowsey kun was able to dominate on the best killer map in the game to put all debate to rest.
