  • This whole damn ptb is hilarious

    - I see Nea dive out of the shack window followed by a huge stream of projectile vomit.

    - I run to her when she's on the hook and see this Jane diving in and out of a locker repeatedly just so she can use her perk 🤣

    - I pull Nea off the hook and she immediately vomits all over my shoes.

When did this become a comedy game?

  • Ok after playing a few normal games against her...

It's extremely easy to get someone broken. Just keep puking and they keep running and they're injured. There's little you can do.

Don't even get me started on the corrupted purge. It's like a 115% huntress with rapid fire. That's hard as hell to avoid.

I can see now why it gives you the instaheal and the extrenely fast time. Because in return she gets the strongest damn power in the game. Not to mention that her regular power is a bit like Legion, you can't really avoid the first hit.

People on here begged for legion to be buffed and look what we ended up testing on the last ptb. Player suggested buffs that were broken beyond belief.

  • Has anyone actually managed to pip as survivor yet? Lol

  • Yeah I'm trying to be positive on the ptb and there are some great things but this new points system is bad, like really bad guys. Please you nees to change it back or adjust it.

As survivor you need the killer to be good and getting hooks to pip

As killer you need the survivors to not disconnect or give up on hook.

Your chance at pipping depends entirely on the other side.

THe hitbox is absurd, and the notifcation spam is annoying AF.

Do it in my games, and you will get to learn me from my worst side.... thats what I say about this 😑

Dude you can kill me all you want, I'm still spamming the locker until you come over to me 😂

    It's worth the punishment.

Ive been watching him too. He didnt get the power in the beginning, but understood it now. Doesnt change a lot sadly, the insta heals are a big problem.

How does she punish gentapping? I dont get that

Yes you will become injured, but it takes really long and you dont have the time to wait for that. You puke on them, then you either wait until they become injured (which takes a lot of time) or you M1 them and make your M2 basically useless. Then you are forced to tunnel them since they can insta heal on the fountain which you can allow basically.

She can infect survivors that vault loop etc, but it REALLY isnt a punishment. THe only strong thing she has is the corurpted vomit, but you gotta collect that form the other side of the map which takes time again....

Against inexperienced survivor she is OP, just like huntress, but once survivors understand how to loop a huntres, hide behind stuff etc huntress gets a lot harder to play and same applies to plague, with the difference that plague doesnt hurt with her ability=)

    No he's still playing badly.

How does it punish gentapping? well if they touch the gen while it's covered in goo they get infected and need to go cleanse at some point. That takes time. If they stay on the gen they will become broken eventually to.

Compare this to any other killer who can't do diddly-squat to gens.

Should probably nerf it God forbid survivors get some good situational perk. What are the tier 3 stats on the perk anyway?

well I got tier 1 and it's 60 seconds to exhaustion, so i'm gonna assume tier 2/3 just lower the exhaustion to 50/40 seconds.

  • Damn, now maybe they really can hit you on the way down to the basement.

  • It might just be easier for them to start out slow and work the power up, rather than start out strong and then have to scale down.

  • @Eveline said:

    Hitbox is ridiculous tho.

    Ridiculous big or ridiculous small?

I hope someone can show exactly how big it is because right now it's guess work.

  • Oh no not No Mither!

    Not no mither!!

I don't think you are fully correct here. She isn't weak but we don't know how to play her optimally yet. Her power is completely amazing (except the slight fps drops). It's got enough counter play while beiing very powerful if used correctly.

When people figure out the best strategies and get optimal perks for her she'll be A tier like billy or at least hag/huntress imao. I just hope that some exploity things that I already found get patched out otherwise she'll be nuts OP.

Pretty much. I just watched Tru3 play her, he's had a few hours with her already. He was saying how bad she is yet he was vomiting when survivors clearly weren't in range and was even trying to do it at pallets to survivors already in the broken status.

I mean she can punish gen tapping, and like Legion there's a feeling of not getting away? once she pukes on you then you're gonna be injured eventually. Not to mention she can infect vaults and pallets so if they try to loop her for long they're gonna be injured eventually anyway, meaning she only needs to get 1 hit in.

I see why the fountains heal survivors. It makes sense really. I'm not saying the fountain healing time couldn't be increased but it does need to heal them. They're already wasting time running off to them anyway.

Again she can punish survivors that vault, pallet loop, gen tap etc she has quite a diverse kit. Not to mention the corrupted purge looks extremely strong. You can even spray it through windows for the free down.

People don't even have optimal perks on her yet.

  • I had a game where ir was gone before I could even get to it.

In other games it's still next to the first gen that survivors work on.

It can be out of line of sight but if it still spawns next to one of them what's the point?

  • Looking at all the suggestions in this forum tonight I can see why the devs take initial impressions with a grain of salt.

IMO mori's should very slightly penalize the killer since they basically make it a lot easier to kill survivors, but yea it's stupid.

I'm betting now that if these changes go live NO ONE will be able to stay at red ranks.

I agree with that, otherwise killers would be boosted with ebonys.

But then would you have to have the same limit for a survivor that used a key?

  • A suggestion I had the other day.

Like this new perk that shows survivor auras in terror radius when put into the dying state. Try one that activates when a killer puts a survivor on the hook.

Some killers camp, but some killers circle the hook because they heard a survivor running behind them while they were carrying to the hook but now they've disappeared. If the killer can chase the survivor away it might help.

  • Because the killer gets notified when a fountain is available to use - which is as soon as a survivor has used it.

So look at it from the survivors point of view. You can't heal due to broken status. You go cleanse yourself, then the killer gets a notification that you're at that fountain so now you need to disappear and heal before they come along and see your scratchmarks.

Not to mention that the vomit will injure a survivor eventually if they keep running so it's basically a free hit.

I understand why they did it. It's fine trust me.

  • I've been doing poorly but winning - though one was a noed crutch and 2 were moris.

The other killers ive seen have done awful and ALL of them just tunnel. Its shocking because they're red ranks but playing like rank 15s.

However I put this down to my own inexperience with the killer right now rarther than a weakness in the killer. I know I can do better with trapper without barely using traps.

I've just been experimenting really. Using the puke in a chase and little else.

It seems it takes some time to put them into the broken status, and that's with add ons to increase the effectiveness. However I don't think it gives them the speed boost than a regular M1 attack would so that's good. I figure I would be better off just hitting them twice. Puking and then waiting for them to be injured feels a bit like Legion, hitting then following etc, though not as long. I often get impatient and hit them anyway which meant I wasted that time vomiting on them.

I figure the puke is best as a game slower. Discordance could be good. Vomit on one to force them to go cleanse then chase the other the standard way.

I went to a gen that was on but couldnt see anyone nearby. So i puked on the gen. I walk away and about a minute later I get a notification that someone has used a nearby fountain. So they touched the gen then had to go run and heal. So I go to the fountain, then follow the path back to that gen and find them. That was a nice waste of the survivors time and it allowed me to find them so that's great.

I haven't really tinkered with the corrupt purge. Finding the right time when to take that since it takes you time to get there and only lasts for a specific duration will take experience. It does seem very strong though. It's almost an instadown. You puke on them, they don't get the speed boost, and the cooldown before you can M1 is very short. So she feels a bit like huntress in that regard when you can chain 2 hits quickly.

This seems like a weird killer. A bit more complex than the rest. Right now I'm thinking the discorance strategy might be good. I also feel the vomit is good if you dont wish to commit to a chase with a survivor. For example say they run into the fortress aka crotus asylum. You could vomit when they get to the pallet to slow them down and then break chase. That way you've got something out of breaking chase without having to commit to chasing through such a time wasting part of the map.

Likewise the puke came in handy on the haddonfield basement loop. Vomit on a guy and it affects vaults too. He was running the loop but became injured due to the vomit and he couldn't do anything about it. I had time to commit to the chase so it only took 1 hit, but likewise I could have left him to go mess about looking for a fountain and found an easier targer.

Dare I say it this killer has a little bit of a Legion feel. A strange game slowing power that will tske some getting used to. Unlike Legion though she isn't 110% so doesn't have that same handicap.

I've only had 3 games so far so what do I know but I'm going to try and "git gud" with her. Just a little tricky when the survivors are bringing all their best items and offerings lol purple flashlights, instaheals and keys everywhere!

  • It's unfair that as survivor you need the killer to be good in order to pip.

As killer its unfair that moris and disconnects hurt you.

  • It makes sense when you play the killer.

Once a survivor drinks from the fountain, the killer gets a visual cue and the aura of the fountain appears on the map (to let you know corrupt purge is available)

So the killer gets a notification of where that survivor is at the moment, it would be a bit unfair if they had to heal after that since they can't heal before due to the broken status.

  • @thesuicidefox said:

@The_Crusader Yea it seems really stupid. You already have to do a good amount as survivor just to earn a safety pip, now you're telling me you need to basically almost double pip in order to safety? And if the killer decides to camp/tunnel so you can't get Benevolence now it's pretty much a guaranteed way for the killer to ensure the entire lobby depips.

If they wanted to reduce the pip requirements for low ranks that's fine. But don't up the requirements for higher ranks. It's not necessary. If you get a DC in your game now, everyone (survivors and killer) just got depipped for that.

In my other game as killer I hooked all survivors once, mori'd 2, one disconmected on hook, last got hatch and I depipped.

    #########?

  • It's good.

Not sure how the puke kills them though. Looks like they're treating it as acid.

I think the mori would be perfect if the excess of disease caused the survivors skin to blister like the killers has. That shows the plague full taking over them.

  • Yeah this new points system is bad.

I'm rank 3 at the moment so I'm scored under Red.

    - Do a gen solo, half a gen with another survivor, and a full gen with 2 other survivors

    - Loot a chest

    - Get an unhook (only hook in the game)

    - Open exit gate

    - escape

i only just got a safety pip for that. Like what am I meant to do if the killer decides to try and tunnel 1 person all game? Am I meant to go run in front of the killer tbagging and hoping to get chased? Since I got the only unhook in the game, did the other survivors even pip?

I'm guessing like before the person who got chased all game probably depipped because the killer wouldn't leave them alone.

The survivors scoring is all based on how the killer plays. If the killer cant get hooks then you can't pip. If the killer comes in for the instant tunnel or wont hit anyone else then you cant heal either. Why am I punished because the killer played badly?

  • Rank matters for survivors because low rank survivor is a nightmare. It's just killers who tunnel the hell out of the first person they find, or they get looped all game. Also you get potato teammates. Its much more fun being purple to red rank.

Looks like we got the plague DR afterall

Edit: ok nevermind I take that back. Only the first 4 loaded originally.

Not bad, but Feng still needs some love.

  • - Use ebony

    - Hook all 4 survivors

    - Kill 2 of them

    - One disconnects on hook

    - last one gets hatch

    - Entity displeased.

    Well that's new.

    Pretty much.

I'm mean I'm all for killer buffs but nurse and billy will probably be tipped over the edge with this.

  • Thana is a perk that punishes you for being injured.

To counter it you heal up.

  • @yeahitsme said:

Where's the damn buff to Resilience to counter Thana?

Botany knowledge or we'll make it.

I think tiers 1 and 2 of Ruin and BBQ also got buffed. They're going to lose their minds.

But killers now get harsher penalties for camping, kindred has been buffed, and the new ds punishes tunneling

  • Tentatively fixed an issue that could cause players to get stuck in trees.

This one has been a long time coming.

When the infinite loading screen is blamed on legion....

    Now I have heard anything

I assume the Legion blame was a joke but yeah the infinite load screen issues definitely got far worse with the engine upgrade in the December update.

Now here we are in March and there is still no end in sight.

  • Yeha it's been really bad since the December update.

  • 3k = Win

    4k = Flawless victory

  • Add-ons - 3-5 blinks. Allows you to mess up more. Maybe something to reduce to fatigue time too.

Map - Macmillan or autohaven. Stay away from coldwind or yamoaka. Meat plant can also be extremely hard for inexperienced nurses since it's easy to accidentally blink through floors.

  • We need to sacrifice 1000 P3 Claudettes to summon the ptb. Lets get to work people!

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Cosmetics should not go into account. For Nea I am either wearing her P3-Head or the Pink Hair-Head, but I am not toxic or using DS. I rarely use Flashlights, but this is either to farm some BPs or to try to do Flashlight Saves. Which usually does not work, because I am really bad at it.

I had a game yesterday were a default Adam was the toxic one... Went to one of the best loops in the game and T-Bags me so that I chase him there. When I downed him, he DCed. Yeah, gj Dude.

btw. another aspect of Pink Haired-Nea: It is one of the few decent Head Cosmetics...Her Head Cosmetics look aweful, so this might be a reason why people are using it.

I'm sure there are some good ones, and it's always a nice surprise to see one. Howver the pink hair cosmetic gets a bad rep because an overwhelming number of toxic players use it. Highly likely that a lot are noob3 fans and if you check their profile most are in the noob3 steam group.

  • Trapper - Small game/Slippery Meat

    Wraith - Sprint Burst

    Hillbilly - None

    Nurse - Iron will

    Doctor - Calm spirit

    Leatherface - None

    Pig - Sprint Burst

Clown - None (calm spirit doesn't matter)

Legion - Sprint burst (or any exhaustion perk)

    Spirit - Iron will

Huntress - None (urban evasion can be strong on some loops)

    Hag - Urban evasion (kinda)

    Myers - Spine chill?

    Freddy - self-care/Adrenaline

There are perks which are strong against all killers such as sprint burst and spine chill but I feel like these are the combos that really eat into a killers power.

For example, Wraith and Pig are about sneaking up on survivors and getting a surprise attack but sprint burst throws that out of the window. It's stronger against them than other killers because it completely counters their ability to stealth attack.

Nurse and spirit have limited vision and so iron will is known as one of the strongest perks against them. Spirit especially.

Urban evasion doesn't counter the hag so much as often survivors will be herded towards traps or step on then unaware but it does make going for unhooks far, far easier.

Freddy - not a direct counter but really cuts down the potential of his power.

Myers - I guess spine chill counters his stalking but it's not really needed.

Legion - a nicely timed sprint burst can completely make him waste his feral frenzy. Same for any exhaustion perks but SB is easier to pull off.

    Sprint burst OP lol

    I was expecting 1 minute.

Hmm. Sounds OP but I'll withhold judgement until I've played it. It can't be too short though as it basically leaves you without a perk slot for the rest of the game.

I think it will be good for a lot of killers due to how much time they waste walking around the larger maps but at the same time I feel like it will be another perk that really makes Hillbilly and Nurse stronger than they need to be.

  • @Saint_Ukraine said:

Typically I expect someone using default cosmetics to play like a noob. If they are wearing P3, I expect them to be fairly good. If they are wearing bright clothing, like Dwight's full red outfit. I expect them to either be really bad or extremely good.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/674/MPTVQJSW011F.jpg

And when I see people with this, I expect them to be toxic.

Yup. This type of Nea = DS confirmed. Good chance of flashlight and tbagging too.

  • @Eveline said:

I am not interested in playing them that much just perks.

    Clown then

Bamboozle - Great on low tier killers

Pop - Not as good as you would hope but amazing on a 3 gen strategy. I pair it with Ruin on Clown so I can slow gens down early game and late game. Pop really takes effect late game when you've killed a survior or two and can then shut down any gens they work on.

Coulrophobia - Decent perk. Its hard to judge it as you can't see the effects first hand but as a survivor it can be pretty annoying when a killer has it. It's top tier on The Game especially with distressing.

    Legion

Discordance - Doesn't always activate but when it does it's amazing. It helps you stop them rushing a generator.

Iron maiden - Garbage on everyone but Huntress

Mad grit - Not worth taking

    Plague

From what we have seen so far the Gen blocker perk looks pretty good but the other 2 are skippable.

So Legion and Plague only really have 1 strong perk each, though they do seem really strong. Clown has 2 good ones and 1 that is pretty decent.

  • When you get home and the ptb isn't up...

    blue-balls-1-1532621488.jpg

    Hopefully it comes tomorrow.

  • When one disconnects so their friend can get the hatch, then they spam EZ EZ post game.

That's when you know you got to them :)

  • No, my memories of the event are survivors being left on the hook to die and survivors getting mad over lanterns and then trying to get other people killed for it via sandbagging and notification spamming.

  • It's mostly claudettes from what I've seen. They begin to get too confident with their invisibility and use it in places where it really doesn't work.

The problems come when it's every game, like DS or NOED.
