Dear Behaviour..
Please remember that Feng exists.
Thank you.

I'll continue play as usual:
4k in the most efficient way possible without wasting time prolonging the match in an unnatural way.
If this means I'll never rank up, so be it but I'm well aware that it's going to ruin the experience for the low rank Survivors. Blame BHVR.
That's how I feel when playing survivor.
I want to do the gens and get out. I'll do any totems I see for NOED, and I'll unhook a survivor near me and heal anyone I see. However I'm not going to go dancing in front of the killer to purposefully get chased, nor am I going to take empathy and follow an injured survivor around so I can be the first in line for the unhook.
Seems I'm not going to be allowed in red ranks playing that way.
-
Ok his most recent videos are something else.
She looks like a Leatherface. Just piggyback, vomit fully and then get them down.
His new videos make her look better. I don't get how he always has survivors that just ran towards him though. The survivors I've seen on the ptb are the most immersed survivoes I've ever seen in the game. If you get within a 2 mile radius of the generator they go urban evading off before you even get to see them.
I'd like M&A like he has but it's just grinding until it comes up.
Still not sure if she's for me. The vomit & hit tactic just doesn't feel as fun as landing a hatchet or a chainsaw or a blade swing.
-
I've always found them overpriced. True for all games it seems.
Having said that I've always felt the dlc was cheaper than it could be so it kind of balances out. Better to have the dlc cheap and the optional cosmetics expensive.
@KillerRaccoon True that 80's was cheaper but lets be honest whats in the store now blows the 80's suitcase away.

Be happy they are just foot fetishists and not furries...
I dunno man, Huntress is kind of leaning in that direction with the bunny and cat masks. I think she's fur-curious.
-
Ok tried out a few games, with the most toxic survivors you can imagine.
Yeah I don't rate her at all. She feels clunky. Even when winning she feels clunky - like Legion.
She's still easily loopable by any good survivor with the meta perks. The purge takes too long to take effect without add ons. Even then it sometimes takes ages.
The corrupt purge can be powerful but it seems survivors have adapted because hugging the walls on short high wall loops makes it so you can't get a clear shot. On top of that the hitbox seems totally random. Sometimes I'm spraying at them and it misses #########? Then the very last chunk somehow hits. Not sure if it's latency?
If tru3 is having good luck with the puke and hit strategy good for him. I think she's an enduring & spirit fury kind of killer then though. You can spend so long puking on them at a pallet before it takes effect, then you gotta deal with the actual pallet.
I really think the real intention is the corrupt purge. It's one of those things though where you can get it but then not see any survivors before it runs out. Unlike Myers where you activate tier 3 when you want.
I mean whats the play? If you only see one survivor you kinda gotta commit to the chase rather than puke and forget. Not to mention they always go for the fountains on the other side of the map to you so if you want corrupt purge you gotta spend some time getting it.
She feels like a Huntress that is faster but needs to reload before every shot.
I got some strategies in mind but don't have the perks required to try it out.
But she reminds me of legion in that even when you're doing good she still feels kind of weak.
-
Know what would be nice? If I could try her out without ######### coldwind coming up every time.
I don't care how good she is when it's immersed claudettes on rotten fields. Cant kill what you can't see.
-
Are you sure they aren't just using lockers for the head-on perk?
-
Bump
Well I got my wish 😊 it's funny because my second choice would have been a thanatophobia buff and that came too.
Yeah I know these were already in the works by the time this thread was made but still....hopefully others can come mid chapter.

Guessing you're not British?

That is really not true. The fear of evading the killer is also fun.
Games like Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell didn't become popular because you got chased by enemies, they became popular because it was about getting past the enemies without being seen.
Nobody likes those games here the killer is preoccupied with one survivor the whole game, but narrowly evading the killer when they come looking for you, that tension can be fun too.
-
Judging from the ptb.....no. I've never seen so much tunneling.
-
I remember McLean talking about having one of the people in the office recently. The guy who Ace was modelled on.
So sounds like people outside od Behaviour. Possibly just actors. i know a lot of games go this route.
-
Terrortorial might not be that bad on the new killer. If she has corrupted purge then her basement game puts her in league with the greats like Huntress, Hag, and even the King Bubba himself.
-
There is always tryhard Nurses on the ptbs. Guessing they just want to ruin the fun for everyone else?

Except the emblem system shouldn't punish stealth players. It shouldn't also force you to get into a chase because the killer wasn't able to find you. It is like saying the killer is bad and couldn't find you, so you lose out because of that.
Basically what you are trying to say is.. .That survivor is bad since the killer wasn't able to find them and they should be punished for it.
Exactlty!
I'm not one of those people who enjoys looping a killer for 5 gens. I tend to like hiding from the thing that's walking around the map trying to kill me.
But now I'm punished because the killer chased one person all game and I didn't jump out and slam pallets and tbag for attention just to get chased.
Not that I wouldn't even want the attention of a killer who has obviously proven that all they intend to do is tunnel someone to death. That's if they would even have an interest in me, since those people only have eyes for the first survivor they hook.
-
There is meant to be optimization in the otb patxh but my PC fans now seem to be way louder than they were before so...
-
Its same for survivor and killer.
You really need a close back and forth game to pip. Plenty of hooks and unhooks.
If one side does really well and dominates the other then you get nothing.
-
Survivors interacting with the fountains helps the plague because then she gets her mega power.
-
It's cool that tru3 has found his strategy. Barf until broken and then hit. If that works for him cool.
I've seen noob3's recent video though, and others have been applying this strategy. They barf on them and let them go. The survivors cleanse and they constantly use the corrupted purge to down. Looks like people are having pretty good success with this tactic too.

To be fair he's on stream all day throwing out opinions.
He kind of needs to say what's on his mind at the time. He can't just say nothing. That does lead to people taking first impressions as gospel though.
Personally I'm withholding judgement until I've played her more.

It's the same thing with Legion, just stay injured and rush generators. Now, the Plague is going to suffer from this as well because survivors will stay injured and rush generators with the benefit of denying her Corrupted Purge.
I know what I'm talking, it's the SAME EXACT thing that's happening with Legion. Do you see it or should use a scenario?
If that keeps happening to you then take Thanatophobia, they get a 24% debuff all game. Plus now everyone only needs 1 hit to go down.
However I'm still yet to see these elusive teams that stay injured all game.

You say that like survivors don't DC at higher ranks.
(I know I main Legion, but seriously?)
Not at the rate they do from ranks 10-15. It's unbearable as survivor there because every 1 in 3 games will have a survivor disconnect in the first 60 seconds.
-
Could you please pass this on to the team that there is a huge fan demand for new Feng cosmetics?

And survivors have to be potatoes rescueing each other all the time as soon as somebody gets hooked instead of doing 2 gens, because 2 gens will already cost you gold Gatekeeper. The only way to get iridescent as a killer is by survivors being absolutely potato. But you know I have no issues with that, I will be looking forward to stomping survivors that in no way would ever be put against me :)
The survivor one is no better.
Doing gens, getting an unhook, evading the killer and escaping = safety pip
You need the killer to be getting multiple hooks, rushing unhooks yourself before other survivors get there, you need the killer to not tunnel so you can heal others, and you need to go out of your way to get in a chase and then win it.

Thanks, I asked because I play Xbox and not pc (hate the wasd system and don't want to be at an disadvantage) so I cannot play the PTB
God I am gonna miss you Dying light, never tunneled, got the perk to work like usual
Just be careful about picking up survivors 60 seconds after unhook and it shouldn't change then.
Luckily sloppy + new thana might be a decent replacement.
-
They're all the same - unless you take a DS. Play it carefully and the obsession won't change.
But the consensus is that dying light has been nerfed heavily since the effects can be undone but rancor is better because you could theoretically, situation permitting, kill multiple survivors with it.

Don't get me wrong, she is scary and powerful, when she vomits with this brown water.
######### truth.
If you aren't at a jungle gym with walls for safety she's lethal.
This killer is the new Myers imo meh early on but deadly when powered.
-
Campers/tunnelers mostly depipped anyway. The downside to this is the game is going to be awful for new players or returning players as there will be the most borinf, unfun killers at low ranks.
Similar to how low rank survivor is full of all the disconnectors.

I wish Feng and Kate got more cosmetics, that’s for sure :(
They had a poll on favourite original survivor in the survivor section of the forum.
Feng wins...yet gets the shaft aside from pity event cosmetics. Meanwhile claudette gets her 500th cosmetic this year.
It's BS!
-
Probably because it's a little bit unfair as survivors can't counter it then.
Yeah theoretically it becomes weaker as the game goes on, but you need it less as the game goes on. You don't need the 24% debuff if there are only 2 survivors left, and think how screwed they would be if thana stacked the sacrificed survivors.
-
- Hags who put 10 traps around the hook then never leave the hook area anyway.
- Billy's who dash to the hook as soon as you'rr unhooking
- Huntresses who just stare at you on the hook
- Nodding
- Hitting on hook
- Pigs who tunnel people with traps on
- Playing Freddy

As someone else said if they do this they become broken and so a one hit for killers. They leave themselves weakened. If they do cleanse they give the killer the ability to be stronger. It’s up to the killer when to do that. If you’re crossing the map to get to a corrupted fountain as soon as a surv drinks from it maybe rethink what you’re doing.
Yeah if survivors choose to be injured then really it's no different to them choosing to stay injured against wraith, leatherface, Myers, hillbilly etc - with billy then only having the advantage of whizzing around the map.
To date I've still never seen an entire team that chooses to remain injured no matter how much killer mains say it happens. Maybe on the last gen for an adrenaline change but thats it.
It seems the devs took this into account though and now the easy answer is bring thanatophobia. 24% speed reduction if they choose to remain injured.
Some people just want it all. Survivors are free to adapt, thats what killers told them to do and now they do it. The devs took mercy and buffed thanatophobia to please them yet some people still complain. I dont know what else they want.
-
I like playing him sometimes but imo he is by far the worst killer to play against. He's awful, absolutely awful.
I'd be fine if he was a bit "meh" if it meant he wasn't intolerable as survivor.

And I'm pretty sure a lot of Survivors do just that. I know I prioritize gens over healing, since Adrenaline is a thing and since gens HAVE to get done to Escape.
I'm pretty sure OP's issue isn't that "Survivors are doing gens while injured!" it's "Survivors are totally ignoring The Plague's power to do gens!"
While Myers and Hillbilly can punish people who just stay on generators through the use of their powers (stalking and chainsawing from across the map and at a generator), The Plague's initial power provides her no benefit against injured Survivors who focus on generators and her secondary power, while fairly strong, only comes into play if Survivors let it.
Personally my only major issue with her is that, just like Legion, her power is pretty much hard-countered by running No Mither.
If your argument is injured survivors who genrush then how does Myers stalking help? If survivors are injured then he has no need to stalk for tier 3
Likewise why would billy need his chainsaw? He could just M1
Plague would be no different to Billy then. Just M1 at 115% speed.
And no mither as a counter....really. If your worried about no mither as a counter then I dont think you have anything to worry about. People said the same about legion. No mither will never be meta.
For what its worth even with legion I see almost all survivors healing still.
-
Too bad the killer probably lobby dodged them due to swf
-
Someone tell the devs it's Feng Min next or I'm uninstalling. 😠

@ABannedCat said:
I watched his stream, and he was not playing her poorly, but merely overthinking her, like he always do, expectign her to be compolex as #########. In the end he figured out that she is basically a low skill close quarter combat huntress with 115% movement speed.
I've seen him play Myers and he's moonwalking and mindgaming at every pallet and jungle gym. He's pretty good.
With Plague he was playing her like a drunk uncle at a party - stumbling around and throwing chunks everywhere.
I'm not saying perhaps she couldn't do with a few adjustments but I think people need more time with her.
On top of that true said stop the fountains from resetting. Which would mean a 115% killer who can keep survivors broken all game. Yeah that's an OP suggestion so I'd take tru3 with a grain of salt right now.
-
The thing is, not everyone has the time to unlock all perks at tier 3 on all killers. Hell some people probably barely have time to get all the perks on 3 killers they like, or even 1.
There are 14, soon to be 15 killers in the game. The grind is ludicrous right now. It's for the best that they make tier 1 and tier 2 somewhat useable and granted the main effects that people want.
-
1) This could be said for most of the killers in the game. Why heal against wraith? I can just loop. Why heal against Billy? I can just loop. Why heal against Myers? I can just loop.
2) It doesn't take you more than a few seconds to throw some vomit on a survivor. Then they have to go run and find a fountain and cleanse. This takes them more time than it takes you to throw chunks. On top of thag once they do this they grant you one of the most powerful attacks in the entire game - corrupted purge.
Plague is a 2 part killer. I'm starting to understand this now. Phase 1 is childs play. Easy injury on a survivor and a little bit of time wasting mechanics. Phase 2....yeah you hit the deck when that ######### comes out, just like Myers in tier 3.
-
True was playing her horribly. He was spraying at survivors he obviously couldn't reach, he even sprayed one guy who was already broken from the other side of a pallet.
He admitted she's complex and the hardest killer to figure out.
-
Because the first tier was garbage
-
If you do a few gens and escape you should be given a safety pip at least.
Not my fault the killer got no hooks. Even id they got 1 I have to compete for that with 3 other people which is what leads to unsafe rushed unhooks.
Not my fault I was good at evading the killer with stealth and didn't end up in a chase.
Its like we're punished for doing well.
-
@Eveline said:
Even true said insta heals are op and killer is weak. Why should we listen to you guys?
True played it poorly.
True said legion was strong at first then weak later. True used to say clown was strong now he cries about how weak he is. He does this with perks too, raves about one for a while then says it's worthless.
Hes quick to judgements and swings his opinion too easily.
-
I haven't had too many games with it yet so can't comment on how annoying it is, but it is really nice being able to go for basement hooks or distant hooks and not having to worry about the 35%

Nothing has changed for the survivor emblem system, only the hook emblem distibution and thecamp/chaser penalty on killer have been changed afaik, or did they change sth else?
Im aware of the pip changed, those ar enot emblem changes though
The scoring changed. You now need more points to safety pip. It changes on ranks.
The bar used to be
__________+________+____+
With the + representing the safety pip, pip, double pip
Now it looks like this
____________________+_____+___+
Where the safety pip comes much further along. Its hard at red ranks. You need to do damn near everything but thats not possible every game.
Killers are tunneling like never before too. I imagine a lot are losing pips at a rapid pace.
-
The instaheals are fine.
I wonder if perhaps the survivors should be able to cleanse the fountains themselves? Say over 20 seconds?
It slows them down, and man is that corrupted purge OP.
