I create specific builds for some of my Survivors, based on their personality and/or their outfit.
For the Survivors I don't have an "unique" build for, my main build as you called it is Adrenaline, Iron Will, Borrowed Time, Bond.

Since the chapter was out, my screen sometimes "shivers". I'm on PC.
I don't know if it's related to your bug.

I either get Autohaven or the Cornfields. There is nothing else.
When I have something else than Autohaven and corn, I feel like I'm discovering new maps. It's too rare to have somethigb else.
Autohaven, I often have these maps three or four times in a row. Then it's corn.

I finished it already... and I still have the entire last level of the tome to complete.
to me it was pretty ok...
I finished it two or three weeks ago. I don't even remember.
I can't say it's fine tho. I play DBD everyday, I work but I have a lot of free time... Not everyone can play several hours everyday to complete a level.

You fake doing a generator? 👀

Trapper and Hag, if I'm downed near the basement. I know it's the end of the game for me. I wait patiently until I can't do anything but be sacrifized.
I can't blame teammates not to come for the saves. When they do, it's basement hooks party.
That's my biggest fear.

Its a map add-on that lets you leave a marker for teammates
Does the Killer see the markers as well? (I guess not, but I prefer to ask!)

I bought it and I don't mind if I have zero brain then. I'm happy and voilà.

How frustrating for Ji-Woon.
-
I started to play in October 2020. I have 800+ hours now.
I play a lot everyday. As I didn't start to play that long ago, I'm not tired yet. Also, going to P3 every characters I have (I miss the Licenced chapters mostly, I just have Silent Hill and Stranger Things, and for the originals, I just miss Élodie/Twins), it takes me busy enough for now.
Last time I felt like to take a break/to quit a game, it took me five years. I'm usually dedicated to a game for a long time. (And the exact same issues were brought by the players: balance, money, grind, bugs...). I'm used to it, I guess.
-
I'm a Survivor main who started to play both side. I've heard that for being good, you need to play both side.
But I enjoyed to play Killer. I started with Pyramid Head, then I played Wraith, Oni, Nurse... I tried Trickster and I was so bad. 😹
For now, I'm 80% Survivor (only solo queue) and 20% Killer. I wanna learn to play Killer, not only to be a better Survivor, but to enjoy a new part of the game.
It's refreshing when changing side. Killer is a bit scary tho, I feel I don't bring fun to Survivors because I'm so bad. (I'm the kind of player who likes to think about the opponent's fun too, and playing Killer could help me to understand it. Of course I want to win, but not if my opponent had a bad time. Where's the fun when you feel someone gave up?)
I bought some chapters with the promotion, and I'm leveling Plague and Clown for now for their perks. I think I'll play more Oni and Wraith, and I will switch to other Killers when I will feel more comfortable with the role.

Same. I don't know if the Killer had a reason to camp/tunnel me. I usually don't ask, I just jump into a new match.

Story of my morning matches. Sometimes, I feel I'm doing a 1v1.
(But I don't know why during the morning I'm matched with only yellow ranks, while I'm red rank...)
For the last point, I'm guilty. I will pay attention to it now and wait for the downed Survivor to crawl where they want to before acting.

I played Oni a bit, but I'm a Survivor main. I have very little knowledge about how to play Killer efficiently.
So, thank you for the tips. I will take them into account the next time I'm trying to learn Killer. I wanted to rank up with Oni, as I love him so much.

I'm sure it means you're a good Killer. Thanks for the statistics, I hope to see more of them soon!
What was the website you used to save the results, if I may ask?

if youre only out for bloodpoints then this is the perfect build:
borrowed time (so you can farm teammates safely)
wglf (obviously)
prove thyself (faster gen speed+100% more bloodpoints for cooperative actions)
bond (so you can find teammates on gens for that prove thyself value)
Exactly my build when I want to farm as much BP as possible. Simple and efficient.

You need to prioritize yourself when you play solo. Too many selfish or really bad players in solo queue, you have to always think about your survival first. I always run Plunderers and Self Care. Plunderers is great for the chance at getting a key and Self Care is great since 8 out of 10 times you can't rely on your teammates. Inner Strength is better than Self Care if you're good at finding totems.
I wouldn't recommend bringing a key because that'll be just the excuse the killer would use to justify their tunneling. Instead, I recommend you just stop bringing bond because all it will do is let bad teammates bring the killer to you.
Another thing you should do is hide near a gen at the start of the match. Then when the killer finishes their patrol of that gen, you work on it while he goes to look for others. Play as stealthily as the match would allow you. The moment the killer downs someone, get in a locker before he picks them up since most run BBQ. Once they're hooked, go back to the gen if the hooked person is on their first hook and they have hang time.
If you find yourself as the last one left in endgame, Hope! is a nifty perk to have. Hide by a gate, wait for the killer to come and see if you're there and then power it up to the point just before the first light comes on and go back to hiding. Wait for the killer to do another pass by and then proceed to open the door. Hope! will let you open it 15% faster.
I know stealth is frowned upon by most players, but when playing solo, it really is a must if you want to last long. It's also a great way to punish sweaty killers who want to tunnel and camp from the start. I always run Spine Chill and the moment it flickers, I'm off of the gen and into the shadows I go. It wastes a lot of time for the killer since many of them pretend to leave and always come back 5-6 seconds later, multiple times. Some even waste much more time looking for me in lockers and then behind rocks and trees, while I vanished in the opposite direction.
Bond is a personal use, the others don't see your aura.

Oh, it is the reason sometimes I suddenly stop healing a Survivor in the dying state? I never understood what happened.
If they hold shift to be ready to sprint, I do agree it shouldn't prevent from healing. Unless they want to stay in the dying state. 🤷🏻♀️

For killer I have been running Devour Hope, Undying, Spirit Fury, Enduring with double speed add-ons with blight playing hyper aggressively.

Classic build for Survivor, but fun! I used it a few times, but once, I get out slowly of my locker and the Killer watched me like they didn't understand what was happening. I missclicked. 🙈

For Survivor: I like Repressed Alliance + Better Together + Visionary.
Im a gen jockey at heart and this combo let’s me find gens easier but also keeps my allies informed on where gens are. Visionary to always stay on top of gens personally, Better Together to help survivors find me and help me pop gens (also useful to gather people to me for heal up), and if Im alone and Killer comes at me, Repressed Alliance to protect my gen progress and show others where my gen is (so that maybe they can finish it for me). Then the 4th is my exhaustion perk.
Killer: Nemesis + Dark Devotion + Enduring/Brutal Strength
Enduring or Brutal to power through pallets. Just always swing at pallet drops and take the stun. Nemesis procs and survivor your chasing becomes oblivious and becomes obsession. Smack the obsession to proc Dark Devotion.
Break chase to hunt others while undetected and internally laugh at survivors mistakenly running from other survivors thinking they are the killer or are being chased by the killer. xD
I like Better Together, but people ignore my generator most of the time. 😹 I like the idea of using Visionary with it and Repressed Alliance. Prove Thyseld could be nice to add to the combination!
The Killer's perks sound interesting for some fun!

I have used all of them and they are fun. The only one I would say is a bit hard is the mettle of man one since your going going ha e to be a bit altruistic and reckless in order to get it to activate. But when It does its fun.
Sorry, I misunderstood! I know what I'm doing during the weekend now: testing the combinations!
Mettle of Man is hard to use, but rewarding. Thanks again for sharing your builds. :)

Here's a cool one
Dance with me + Deception
Vault a window, lose your scratch marks then run past a locker and extend the loss of scratch marks by another 3 seconds, giving you a total of 6 seconds without scratch marks
Situational but fun to mess around with
The stealth one! I'm wondering if it could work on the shack... 🤔

I have a few fun perk combos and builds
Autodidact, Solidarity, Aftercare, Spain Chill
Repressed Alliance, Sprint burst, Windows of oppurtunity and Premonition.
Power Struggle, Flip Flop, Decisive Strike, Tenacity.
For the People, Dead Hard, Desperate Measures, Self Care
When Smash Hit comes out pare that with Power Struggle.
Deliverence, Breakdown, Iron Will, Resilience
Iron Will, Lucky Break, Deception, Head On.
I haven't tried this build out yet because I'm trying to make a build with second wind. I will edit it if I think of something.
That's all for now. I'm trying to experiment with different perks and these are all I have come up with.
I thought of a few others
Mettle Of Man, Dead Hard, Self Care, Boil Over, (or Breakout that's good to)
Adrenaline, Posied, Iron Will, Dark sense.
Waw, you have a lot of ideas! I would love to hear what you think of your combinations and builds after you tried them.

Basically, as long as you have at least one token of Stakeout your great skill checks award 2% progress, and good skill checks are converted to great at the cost of 1 token. This is not happening makes it easier to land them if you're injured, that's where the correlation with No Mither comes from. It's a nice alternative to resilience if you just want to gen jokey or feel like you're playing pre nerf.
I see, thanks for the details! I could see being super cool with the new Survivor perk—Fast Track.

Detectives Hunch, Inner Strength, Head on, DS.
Just been unhooked and the killer is coming right back at you? Hop in that locker and he either eats the DS or you recover to full health. After you recover, they will likely try pull you out to take you back down a health state, Head on and make a run for it.
Hex Retribution and Haunted ground. If they pop haunted ground you have 10 seconds of aura reveal on exposed survivors. Pair with undying for extra horror.
Good ideas! I knew about DS and UB, but not about DS and Head On. I rarely use DS, I often forget it works with lockers.
Retribution is from Deathslinger, right? The combination sounds interesting to put some pressure! But I have to play quick then, or I finish the trial with two or one perk only.
-
@lagosta said:
Stakeout + This is not happening (+possibly No Mither): Each skill check awards 2% bonus instead of 1, basically undoing the nerf that happened some time ago. If you can land Great skill checks consistently, you can change This is not Happening for Resilience or other combination.
I didn't know those two perks could work together. Definitively gonna try it out!

Aww, I'm sure you better than you think. I just started to feel I deserve my rank 4 (but not everytime tho, sometimes, I face someone too strong Killers and I feel clueless). I think ranking up is too easy. I felt more green or purple for a long time.
