Can you guys please just discuss things without making every single thread into “survivor bad” or “killer bad”? It’s exhausting. The OP does in fact play killer as well based on their post history, they’re not an EnTiTlEd SuRvIvOr MaIn they’re just someone you disagree with so why not try actually discussing the issue?

Loading times seem longers to me too. As you said, sometimes, it's so long that I think someone disconnected, but eventually the match starts.

I played a solo q game recently after only played 2SWF for quite awhile. Was against a Ghostface. He had managed to hook my teammates all twice before we had a gen done - was running ruin, I kept going for saves while they were all basically trading hooks so no one was working on gens.
At one point GF had one on hook (Dwight), one down (Ace), and one being injured while chased (Jane). As I saved Dwight GF downed the Jane across the map. I ran to Jane while Dwight went to Ace since he was closer and should only need quick tap to pop up. As I was working on popping up Jane Dwight was downed before popping up Ace. Just as I finished popping up Jane GF had come back, she stunned him with a pallet as I ran to pop up the other two. I popped one up, was hit as I finished popping up the second, then ran GF away from everyone while they healed. Pretty much giving us a full reset.
As I was on the hook (first hook) I saw GF go over to my teammates. One ran a little bit before stopping to turn around and watch others, other two just stood there while GF downed them, then third walked back over for GF to down them aswell. I attempted escape and went to struggle. While struggling GF brought Jane over to unhook me. Jane wouldn't wiggle free. GF had to drop her several times to force the wiggle free, she walked over and unhooked me just before I died. GF downed the Jane then chased and downed me.
Jane had crawled over to the other two that hadn't moved, GF brought me over to them. GF then did the pick up/drop to have Dwight be free and heal everyone up. Dwight first teabagged everyone. Then Dwight and the other two healed eachother. Then the 3 came over to teabag over me but not heal me.
GF picked me up, I was hoping just to hook me so I could go on to next match. Instead he carried me around while the others worked gens. I didn't bother wiggling because I was hoping I'd just get hooked, at that point I just no longer wanted to participate in the match. GF watched the team do 2 gens together then dropped me, they came over and teabagged on top of me before GF picked me back up and hooked me.
These were red/purple survivors, green Ghostface.
Sounds like a good and fun match. 👀

I had the same players, but against The Twins. I've got chased enough long for having at the very least one generator done.
I got downed. They were all using Urban Evasion around the corner of the map. 🤷🏻♀️
UE is great when well used. But I always see people using it like their key for crouching is stuck.

I was running to the shack to loop it. A random player was camping the pallet and throw it on me—the Killer downed me, and the Survivor Urban Evaded a bit away.
It was awesome because I can't believe it happened.
Probably someone pretty new, I don't think they meant to do it on purpose. I wish I wasn't resetted to lower ranks. 👀

Thanks for your answer. Do you know how to actually do the invitation (PC—Steam) without adding in friend? I mean, it happens in game or through Steam itself?
I never invited (nor got invited) through Steam, I have no idea how it works.

Being efficient with gens means, for me at least, never losing second, knowing perfectly when unhokking, and when returning to your gen, knowing where's a three gen, and know when to break it, the act itself of sitting in the gen it's braindead, but knowing when staying there and when saving, healing (basically never but whatever) and suck are actually something that comes with quite a bit of experience.
Oh, I see... I didn't see it that way. Hum, now I know what you meant, I could change my mind about what type of Survivors I prefer. :p

What means being efficient with generators? I mean, I'm really asking, because it seems (to me) that the only element that asks skill and practice is running the Killer.
But I would say I prefer someone being efficient on looping, so the rest of the team has time to do generators/looking for Ruin, etc.

Yun-Jin as well, I want more, and Élodie. I'm not a fan of what they have already...
And Yui, I want more casual outfits rather than motorcycle related.

I do it too. Or I speak to the characters of the game too. (I speak a lot to Kharjo in Skyrim, for instance.)

Killers are friendly. Hooking you is a way to prove their affection.

The last 24h test looked promising. I had nice (not total sweatfest) matches both as killer and survivor. So i´m looking forward to the release.
If it takes them a little longer to fine-tune this, i don´t mind. But i hope it releases with the next chapter.
I had a similar experience during the test. I do hope too it'll come with the next chapter.

As far as I know youtube is testing a new age verification thing, it is not fully implemented yet, so it's not active for everbody, so I don't OP is responsible for that.

I never had the case, I didn't know Google was implementing such a verification. Good to know.

I screamed when a Tinkerer Nurse jumped into me the other day. Same when I was chased by a T1 Myers who disappeared... to reappear behind me. He stared at me, standing still. I felt he was kind of RPing while feeding his power.
The game isn't scary anymore to me, but I'm still jump scared from time to time.

I main Cheryl, but I play Yui a looot. I love her latest rift outfit. I wear the head and the pants with her P3 jacket.
She's the coolest.

Well, I got the usual red rank Killers, but new Survivors now. The crouch, they wait in a corner...
I feel sorry for them to meet players who are way too strong for them.
And since the reset, I have a lot of trolls. People who drop a pallet and vault it until the Kilker comes, who enter locker and get out of them until the Killer comes... To DC when the Killer comes.

I'm a Survivor main. I don't play Killer because I can't find a single lobby with players of my rank. Rank 20, I had green Survivors. Rank 18 is the higher I got. I only have high purple or red Survivors.
Even when it's freaking hard for me, I don't camp and I don't tunnel... But yesterday, I tunneled a Claudette... Full team of very good Survivors, I wanted to get my last sacrifice for the challenge and being out of it.
I felt bad... But I was tired of being matched against red ranks who insulted me in the end game chat. "You're the best Killer we ever seen", the kindest sentence I've read. I felt I wasn't allowed to be new to the role, to learn, to do mistakes.
I understand players who panick and tunnel, who feel outplayed and camp. The issue is more or less the matchmaking for me.
I don't encourage tunnel nor camp. I tunneled only once because I was tired, it was my last challenge... (I had the brilliant idea of doing all the Killer challenge of the current tome in one day.)
Even during EGC, if I hook someone, I don't camp. It's probably stupid... but I go looking for the others. I think it's because I'm a Survivor main and I'm biased. Also, I find it fun to look for the others and see if I can get them before they do anything to save the hooked one.

I agree. Oni and Blight are the most balanced to me too.
I love being against them. I also like to play Oni, even if his power is still a bit hard to use for me.

A Nurse who slugged me, went to find other Survivors, killed them, and gave me the hatch.
I didn't like the match because I had the hatch. But the Nurse was picking me up sometimes to put me near her while she was hunting. I felt like that she was protecting me from the others, like I was an injured and fragile kitten.
Nice end, I told I was the chosen one to joke, and everyone was very kind during the end game chat. And she didn't slug at 5 generators, I think we had 1 or 2 left at this moment.
Maybe she was a Cheryl's fan.
