I wreck pretty damn strong elite survivor teams on a regular basis as Clown, without meta perks.
Sure, I also get wrecked some games.
But I absolutely can hold my own with one of the wEaKesT kiLLeRs in the game, and DESTROY survivors that don’t take Clown seriously.

It's just unacceptable.
Bhvr, please fix this. Disable it until it gets straightened around or something. I find it hard to believe the amount of pallets is intentional.
It’s really not that bad.
I’m not trying to condescend you.
I genuinely feel it’s not that bad.
There are so few safe vaults on Gideon, that once many pallets are gone, the map quickly becomes very dangerous for survivors.
You may not be able to mind game many of them, so just force the pallet drop and get rid of them.

I can assure you that insta blinds were removed some time ago. You are either experiencing a hack, or team blinds.

So for whatever reason, I decided to play some Twins today. And after around five games, I can confidently say they are dogshit.
Like, why does the game lag spike with literally every action you do?
Swap to Victor? Lag spike.
Swap to Charlotte? Lag Spike.
Charge a pounce as Victor? Lag Spike.
It's so goddamn frustrating. Like, I actually enjoy their gameplay, but I simply can't put up with the constant lag they have to endure.
Sorry, rant over.
I don’t experience any of that, but I’m on PS5. I do pretty ok with Twins now.

Pretty often actually

Mmmm...
Although a great idea, perhaps adding it to We’ll Make It isn’t the way to go. Arguably because that perk doesn’t need a buff.

Unless they’re also using No Mither, then the game can still be ended by the killer by mass slugging everyone. So it’s not necessary to make this exploitable bug a bannable offence.

Luck doesn't affect Trapper's traps anymore.
Ah ok

I don't wanna be unhooked when the killer is nearby. With all the tunneling going on now, it's insane. I should be allowed to prevent someone from unhooking me. Give us a button to kick them away or something. Let us hold the sprint button to prevent the unhook the same way we can prevent healing.
Even better... GIVE US A HUD ELEMENT TELLING US IF SOMEONE HAS BORROWED TIME.
It's clear that killer's refuse to punish the guy who unhooks someone in their face, like they should. At least let us punish them then.
I bet they’ll release it as a perk

Played a survivor game earlier and without any perks or offerings to increase luck, got two keys while searching chests.
Yikes.
Luck doesn’t effect chests. It only affects self unhooks, and freeing from Trappers bear traps.

If you're lucky you'll go against me, who plays like a drunk raccoon smacking the keyboard and mouse and runs stuff like insidious on wraith but who is almost always in killer red ranks for some cursed reason
Just for the record though, Insidious is actually a fun and decent perk on Wraith simply because survivors will never expect it.
Kick a gen, wait hidden with Insidious, listen for them to return to the gen (don’t look in the direction in case of Spine Chill). Because survivors will be expecting to hear the wailing bell before you’d normally get a hit in, they’ll never see you coming.

Probably not, he might be stronger than Pig, but still.
The most recent patch didn't address his core issues. He is incapable of pressuring multiple survivors at once, he still can be dodged around loops with walls with unacceptable easiness, his main event is the most useless power up thing in the game in comparison with Blood Fury, Corrupt Purge, even tier 3 Myers, etc.
Please don’t be offended, I say this in kindness, but this post comes across as not understanding the fundamentals of this game.
EVERY killer can pressure multiple survivors at a time, even if it’s indirectly. The very act of successfully ending a chase, whether hooking or slugging, puts pressure on the other survivors.

Well, a fact is that franklins is pretty much the most dbag perk in the game. I want that survivor perk that negates the killers add ons.
This exactly why many killers run Franklin’s: because of the grossly exaggerated survivor reaction to the perks effect (as demonstrated by you, commenting that it’s “pretty much the most dbag perk in the game.”)
No one item in the game is essential for survivors to complete their objective, escape, and win. Losing an item is nothing more than losing an item. Yet far too many survivors behave like their life depends on what was just dropped, and will sometimes be reckless enough to throw the game just to go back and retrieve whatever that item was.
This is the only reason Franklin’s is an often effective perk that helps a killer win a game: the survivor stupidity that follows after a successful use of Franklin’s.
It’s just an item.
There will always be chests.
There is always the bloodweb.
Survivors need to chill out and calm down when it comes to Franklin’s.

I mean, it is a strategy. Tunneling is a great strategy and is usually in the Killer's best interest. A 4v1 is massively against you as Killer, but a 3v1 is far more manageable. Ergo, kill someone off ASAP so you don't have to sweat.
Saying tunneling isn't a strategy is like saying slamming gens isn't a strategy.
It isn't fun for the person getting tunneled, but to say it isn't an effective and viable strat is just false.
Hit the nail on the head. The game simply isn’t manageable as killer against 4 opponents. It’s why I slug A LOT and make haste to find my next chase, because a slug makes the game temporarily 2v1 periodically throughout the match because of the time involved for a teammate to assist the slug.

Believe me when I tell you I've never come across a "fun" hacker yet lol. This sabo hack is new to me though, and it's a spit in the face more than anything.
Just slug em all. If they don’t want to be hooked, they can’t complain about being left to bleed out.
-
I agree though that it needs serious work done to it though.
I wouldn’t want a complete rework though. I’d like it to remain as an aura blocking perk.
-
It’s really for it’s current synergy with current OoO, and to combat aura reading add ons, particularly Wraith, Myers, and Pig.
That said, it can be great against I’m All Ears with Dance With Me.

Yes I played it a bunch, I loved it.
However everything I loved about Left 4 Dead wasn't much in Back 4 Blood when I played it.
I'll have to see if they do another beta or it's improved at launch, but I wasn't impressed at all really.
Hmmm. That’s concerning. I already put a fully paid off preorder on the ultimate edition the day the announcement dropped.

I am a massive aliens fan but that game looks....I dunno doesn't have much to it. No versus, only 3 people teams, and everything I've seen is just walking through corridors spraying down aliens. Not much depth to it. When asked about replayability and what would keep people coming back to their game devs just said "Well it has numerous difficulty options". I don't think it will be awful, but I think it won't be a long stay by any means.
Back 4 Blood I also didn't enjoy the beta all that much, and almost everyone I played with was as confused as I was as to what was going on half the time haha. Loved Evolve but I dunno, this one is supposed to get a versus mode down the road and other things so I hope it turns out okay.
I like what little I saw of Evil Dead though so far quite a bit.
Did you ever play Left 4 Dead?
I was fanatically in love with both games. So that’s enough for me to be excited about Back 4 Blood. It looks like everything L4D was times 10.

pig: has basekit slowdown and her dash can be used to mindgame loops
plague- people say how if people dont cleanse shes weak, when having everyone 1 hit down the entire match is very strong. she’s essentially an infinite tier 3 myers base kit
So true about Plague. This is especially potent when she’s played correctly, with an emphasis on getting all 4 survivors infected with base infection ASAP, so that they all passively reach broken early in the game.
I find by mid/late game, the survivors just can’t take it anymore (and I’m talking about highly skilled survivors), and always eventually start cleansing, no matter how stubborn they are.

To make survivors pay attention and press the contextual action when it’s the RIGHT action, instead of just spamming a button as they’re running.

I remember almo said this: "Freddy is a very fun and an interactive killer"
We need old freddy back With buffs tbh
He was fine when used correctly.
The reason they changed him is they thought he was too confusing to the majority of survivors (not understanding when Freddy was invisible to them while they’re awake, he can see them perfectly fine. And even when they’re asleep, not understanding that hiding by rocks and things didn’t work because of the blue highlight around them making sleeping survivors very easy to spot).
They also thought his slow down was too obnoxious. Which might be right because I had ways to make gens take FOREVER.
-
@RenTheCat said:
Why is this even a thing? How come all 4 survivors can split up, go into the corners of he map and start working on a gen? If you don't find anyone in 80 seconds that's 4 gens doing in ONE MINUTE (and 20 seconds). If you do find someone, in those big ass maps, then during one chase or just as you got the first hook you have 3 gens pop up.
You can't teleport around the map, you can't make chases take 1 second, you can't make the gen progress actually regress because Hex: Ruin spawn is a joke and kicking the gen doesn't do anything (And pop goes the weasel literally requires you to hook someone).
Then survivors claim there is no gen rush and that they are just doing their objective but their objective sure as hell isn't to take advantage of how it's more efficent for some reason to do gens alone (Instead of being the opposite so it encourages teamwork) and each one go on a gen in the corners of the map so the killer can't find you.
And why should anyone even bother with late game if all the totems will have been destroyed by then (since they spawn righ next to generators) and if the killer is trying to defend the last remaining 3 gens they will just find a key and leave through the hatch.
Because it’s not “get off my lawn simulator” (I.e. it’s not “prevent any gens from being repaired in the first 80 seconds”)
Your goal is to kill/sacrifice as many of them as possible. It doesn’t matter how quickly some of the gens pop early, or even if they finish all 5 repairs if they all, or most of them, end up dead

Obviously Killer mains complained way more, but Survivor mains (lower ranked ones) still complained about how he was miserable to play against. Miserable to verse for lower ranks, abusable versus higher ranks.
Meh...
The ways higher rank survivors thought they were abusing old Freddy’s weaknesses, could again be taken advantage of by Freddy.
Hence why Overcharge was his strongest, most annoying, most impossible perk for survivors to deal with.

To respond directly to your post though, I’d say it’s very unlikely we’ll got anything other than the most iconic of villains. It’ll either be Birken, Tyrant/Mr X, Nemesis, Jack Baker, possibly Wesker.
-
@onemind said:
And I'll say while it is quite scary but jack backer or margret wouldn't feel the same in dbd as nemissis or mr x would plus their power would be very limited Lucas could be the best from re 7 but why choose him when you have the others
I love, LOVE, LOVE, the entire sequence in the beginning as Ethan finding Mia, being lead around the basement, she disappears, and then shortly after leaving the basement, we get a spectacular, terrifying tribute to The Evil Dead. That part of the game will forever stick in my mind, simply because up until that point Resident Evil had NEVER been as terrifying or as violent as that, EVER!

Just honesty, if matchmaking like have any big game like Leage of legends/ cs:go ect. nobody will play it in week till fix!!! People in this game are able to quit for little devs mistake and we have this - DEAD BX DAYLIGHT. Why in the god i play vs 5000 hours guys in swf( on coms probably). How in the hell can this be real and acceptable by community????? Tell me is is so hard make some stuff like you cant meet ranks above your? Why in the hell i (12 rank) cant play vs 8-16 ranks for balanced game? Why is not game balanced by SWF on coms?? Community know it is problem, devs know it too , so where is some action?
Then take a break then. There’s no shame in that. Most of us understand. I’ve had periodic breaks. I’m sure many other long time players have done the same. It’s a healthy thing to do.
With this in mind, when you do return from your break, another healthy thing is to not always blame the match making. Even against highly skilled opponents there’s always room for your own improvement, and opportunities will always eventually pop up to out wit your opponent, and their “rank” can’t save them from this.
Also, just accept that you will lose games. Even being a ridiculously good Clown main with a high win rate, I lose games. The best of the best lose games. Whenever it’s 100% clear I’m in an unwinnable situation (or I just find the match is no longer worth my time for the sake of my headspace) I just go wait by an exit switch and let the survivors finish. I’ll go make a cup of tea, or browse my phone for a while, stare outside for a while so my eyes get a break from screens, or do some push ups or Hindu squats (or some sort of movement/resistance) for some circulation (which is good for body, head health, and releasing some of that pent up frustration).
Any way, take some of this or none of this. It’s up to you. But do take a break and look after YOU. We’ll still be here when you’re back.

So funny. I love the little gremlin
That was so hilarious.
Survivors goes in locker.
“HAHA, SUCKED IN VICTOR. WHAT YOU GOING TO DO NOW?!”
Pounce.
Survivor falls out of locker into dying state.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s also still funny NOW when survivors STILL get into lockers right in front of Victor. It’s one of the reasons I periodically run Iron Maiden on Twins. If as Charlotte I can’t reach them in the 10 seconds Victor is trapping them inside the locker, I’m usually pretty close by the time they do get out.

whether it's before endgame or after, DS should always remain in play for a chance to be used. Especially because that's only a one time use only. If you're upset because you got DS'd at the exit gate than that's your fault for not taking the stun earlier in the game. While I do understand tunneling at EGC is acceptable, the whole purpose of that perk is to prevent tunneling. Yeah it sucks it's happened to me but it's not that big of a deal.
Thank you. I’m glad you said it. Killers need to remove it earlier in the game. It’s the killers fault for allowing a previously hooked survivor to still have access to DS at endgame

We gotta keep in mind the amount of hours needed minimum to put into the rift and the tomes, and also consider the lack of time that people have in order to complete it. IMO, doing all tome challenges completely unlocks the rift.

I think the chances of getting a duo are really high here.
Usually you have one character taking the main spot or being called “the scream queen” in a horror genre, but both Chris and Jill, and Leon and Claire have almost the same level of importance in the games.
Exactly. They’re kind of synonymous with each other. Chris without Jill, or Leon without Claire (or vice versa) would just be weird.

If I have WGLF, Botany, and Desperate Measures with a green medkit and a leader buff, is the resultant healing speed 100%+33%+14%+50%+25%, or is it one applied and another applied to the new whole and another applied to the even newer whole?
If it's the latter, how is the order of which applies first determined?
And while we're on the topic, do perks like sloppy butcher and coulrophobia decrease healing speed using 100% as the whole or do they treat the new healing speed as the whole?
From what I remember, buffs are additive, debuffs are multiplicative (so that no debuff ever reaches zero)

it's bannable only if the killer does it for griefing purposes. Like if a killer blocks a survivor in a corner and doesn't move for 5 minutes. Survivors can't body block a killer for griefing purposes because the killer can just down them.
