Personally I appreciate it, one game was like this after a bad day of getting owned by several killers, it was a legion and I was either Nancy or Feng in the backwater swamp, the legion was really good and he had gotten a lot of us done, we had some good escapes but it came down to three of us, since he had killed someone. He led us to gens and everything also letting us escape as he farmed for points he would injure us then we'd heal yk.
It's boring and most of the time unfair since the people the killer let's escape are just troll survivors while the survivors who actually tried to play the game got killed. Same with giving the hatch, never seen a single killer who gave a deserved hatch, they always give it to the most selfish noob survivor who let all his teammates die so he could get the hatch
-
- Luckily 1 survivor will scape through hacth
The fact that you think getting an undeserved win is "lucky" just says everything I need to know and makes me sad how easy and fast survivors get to red ranks. Go keep hiding and letting your team die so you can escape through the hatch and get a cheap win, lucky guy.
-
For some reason the devs think it's a valid game mechanic to have survivors cancel animations so the killer can't grab. If you're unhooking, you shouldn't be able to stop doing so. Same as how the killer can't stop breaking a pallet or stop hooking. But doing some infinite clicky clicky on the hooked survivor so the killer just hits instead of grabbing is fine in their heads.
-
People care about the lore of... this game?
-
I still crash against the air sometimes, repeatedly. It completly ruins my plays and I don't understand why. I could be rushing on an open field and he will still crash against nothing, and several times. There is literally nothing around yet it still takes a charge and he does the crashing animation against the air.

I had a game like that. It was easy, too, because the killer decided to camp the first person he downed, so we could finish some gens, and then as we unhooked them with 3 survivors (while being in a solo queue, mind you, although i dont know for the rest), he choose to tunnel the guy out. At that point we just had to find the hatch.
Nice how keys counter those playstyles.
The emblem system is such a joke people like you get to red ranks.
-
I don't understand how people have so much trouble with Dead Hard, what ruins most of my plays as killers is Sprint Burst, specially if they were picked from the ground or you're trying to ambush them at a gen.
-
Cheryl players
Nice
HAHAHAHAHAHHAA
-
What's really op about borrowed time is how the Endurace effect makes you immune against one-shot abilities. Like Billy's chainsaw. People say BT is ok because "you have to hit them twice like a healthy survivor" but no healthy survivor takes no damage after being charged at by Billy.
-
I'll one up you, just had a match with 3 keys in it today. 2 were found in chests and a Claudette picked a key at the very last second during lobby so I couldn't dodge.
Had to tryhard and got 3k, last guy escaped with another key even though i closed the hatch already.
What bothers me the most is the dude who escaped was the one who did the least and he literally escaped right in front of me with nothing I could do, I even had 3 stacks of devour hope, one hit and he was dead.

Instaheals? You mean an anti-haemorrhagic syringe? That's not instant, it takes 16 seconds. And they did nerf brand new parts like 2-3 years ago.
Iri Axe -heads were insane. Huntress's hit-box is already the size of a mac-truck, and she can often somehow get you around corners. No Killer should be able to one-shot down from half a map away.
And no survivor should be able to leave the game early and get a win while giving the killer a lose despite them not finishing objectives yet keys, maps and hatches are there.
Git good and learn to evade the hatchet. Killers can't evade the hatch because even if you close it they can open it again with the key.

Not defending BNPs, but aren't they just as rare as Iri Heads?
Not in high ranks, people who have been playing for a long time are gonna have a lot, I always see at least 1 survivor in my game who has one.
-
I find it funny how they don't nerf keys or instaheals or brand new parts but somehow an extremely rare and expensive addon for the huntress that almost nobody uses and if they do it's because they had to grind A LOT gets nerfed immediatly.
Guess Myers and Clown are next. Shame.

yeah, but are the 'means' included? That's what I wonder. like, can the devs see if someone tunneled?
likewise, do they e.g. see how many people died to pig's traps because someone couldn't keep their hands off a gen while a teammate had a trap on?
There is no way for the devs to see if someone is being tunneled. There is just no way to measure it, most of the time tunneling is not even a thing and is just in the survivor's head.

This isn't the definitive answer (because the Legion issue was 2 years ago, and things have changed a lot since then) but from what I remember with that particular bug, the matches were effectively held hostage as it took so long to mend. In this case with Breakdown matches can still end, the player will still bleed out even if they can't be hooked.
I see you haven't played against people with SWF and no mither.
And btw, people could still die with the Legion issue. Thing is survivors couldn't win. Same as how it's now with killers with the key bug and breakdown bug.

And you suggest I was playing poorly because two randoms were throwing by attempting self escapes with killer in their face?
Like I said, if a situation is ever so bad that a key needs to be used, nobody is benefitting.
What do you mean nobody benefits from it? The survivor who escaped with the key was literally given a free win that was not deserved and the killer was forced into a big ENTITY DISPLEASED screen.

This is incorrect. They affect the outcome of less than 3% of all matches.
Well those 3% must be all my matches, I'm tired of it. I check if he survivors HAVE a key before the match begins. Between today and yesterday, 10 times the survivor picked a key AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE.
Worst part I was trying to practice billy so I was already risking having all 4 of them escape, but they literally used a hatch offering and a key.
Today I was a sent to haddonfield and another dude picked a key at last moment too.
Camping and tunneling is less than what? 5% of all games? yet survivors cry like crazy.
-
Or survivors could learn to move to avoid Victor's hit same as how they are supposed to move when Billy is charging at them. That would fix the issue since you can't camp and slug people who are alive.
-
Hey better than the same scummy SWF 2 matches in a row with a hatch offering and a key they pick at the very last minute so you can't dodge.

I mean by the same way you could argue killers should be the same speed as survivors so they don't get easy hits in chasrd and any killer who says they need to be faster instead of outsmarting or outmaneuvering survivors is just entitled cause they want easy points
Except it's a kliler's job to kill. If they were the same speed as survivors the survivor could just run in a straight line forever and never get caught, specially in maps like the hospital and school. A survivor demanding the game gives him a win because he was the first one to die (because he sucks) is ridiculous and not comparable at all.
And btw, Nurse has the same speed.

I don't find playing DBD to be an intense activity. I did, however, imply that you may have a fundamental misunderstanding of the intent of a leisure activity.
Additionally, if you believe that someone playing a game in a relaxed state would be potentially hurtful to people, than I might suggest that you find a more sensical definition of the word. We need to work from common definitions in order to have good discussions, and your usage here creates an implicit definition so broad that it makes the word virtually meaningless.
Are you able to talk without being either pasive agressive or patronizing? Not so hard to be honest, don't think you won't get banned just because you call him an idiot in a fancy way.

Your statement is incorrect. I don't feel pity when I let killers hit me, and I don't feel diminished when a survivor lets me hit them. Dunno where this "pity" comes in during your games. It's a sportsmanlike gesture. Like a "gg" lineup at the end of a game. If you feel "pitiful" about it, then perhaps that's an internal issue rather than an external one.
It's funny how in your ######### passive agressive insult towards that user you wrote:
- I don't feel diminished when survivors let me hit them
Hiilarious how you attempting to insult his self esteem ended up showing how low yours is.

Teabagging has been done for years in games to show that someone is better than another. It was very prominent in Halo 3. God, I love that game. It's the same here. Show's the person is better than another. Never changed.
From my experience most people who teabag are actually really bad at the game and extremely loud. I always tunnel or camp whoever did some teabagging and there isn't a single time they don't die extremely fast and proceed to cry a lot in the chat.
There is a reason none of the pro players out there teabag.

You don’t see the toxicity?
- you prolong the trial in a position where you can’t lose
- your suppose to act like someone trying to escape a killer but fearlessly wait provokingly so you can get a lil spanking before you leave
- the points you “gift” the Killer are a huge waste of time that the Killer could have gotten much sooner if you would just end the game.
- this is not the equivalent to Killer gifting hatch.
Killer isn’t getting a 1k bump from your action. Your wasting time and disrespecting the Killer. If you wanna be nice, then leave or sit by a hook and get killed.
How do you not see how toxic you are?
I think he's just trolling, don't engage.

I'm being toxic by trying to give a killer a free hit??
Why would the killer wanna waste his time and walk from one corner of the map to the other for a "Free hit"? I assume if the killer never comes to engage with your toxicity you just stay there making him waste time until the endgame timer ends?
-
So just 80 seconds per gen is not enough you wanna remove the time survivors have to spend looking for them too? If you just wanna play press M1 simulator, use Visionary. There is no perk to tell the killers who they hooked and how many times.

I made a post on this, with a squad I dealt with last night, but if you can catch on early in the game what they are doing. Push them to a corner where there is a lot of hooks, slug them all, and hook them there. These sabo squads will tend to cause a lot of mistakes, and you can take advantage of that. Typically these teams end up getting 4 slugged.
Heh my very first encounter with the bug had all 4 use no mither so slugging them is impossible. It backfired and I got a 4k because I had agitation and the basement was in the center of the map.
-
They wanna mock you, happens to every killer.
Just don't give them the satisfaction and don't go near the gates. Sucks because they ALWAYS stay there waiting for you to come, I suppose it bothers them if you don't pay them attention, my endgames always last the full duration because of this, they stay in the gates waiting for me so they can t-bag me and since I never even get near it they wait until last second to leave.
BHVR should make Blood Warden part of the game and not some useless perk. If a survivor crouches repeatedly more than 5 times then boom, they can't leave.
It's funny though how nobody teabags a Deathslinger in the gates. (They instead teabag you after every missed shot)
-
What's wrong with it? It's an extremely expensive and hard to get add on, it actually makes the Clown a good killer. If we get rid of good add ons then Survivors are next, forget about your infinite insta blind flashlight, or instaheals, and say goodbye to Brand new parts because no killer likes 4 gens done ni 20 seconds.

Hide, win the chase, not get caught? You want points for staying afk on the hook?
Survivors are so entitled they just wanna stay afk doing nothing and still be given a win, it's hilarious.

-
Killer is the only side that can have his opponent leave through a magic door in the ground after a 40 minutes match only so you get a big YOU LOST and they, despite doing nothing but hiding, a big WIN. Let alone how killers are the ones who can stand teabagging, flashlight ticking, pointing, etc. Killer is also the only side that has to deal with SWF.
-
Camp, tunnel and slug the 4 minutes on every game you can. Survivor mains proved they have zero respect for the killer's fun, so just return the favor. Devs won't do anything about how unfair the hatch and keys are.
-
- why not ask the community
Tell me a single game, ever, that improved because the devs listened to the players.

And? There are maps which are killer sided. I'm completely fine being sent to either - I will do my best no matter which map/perk is brought.
I just don't blame others for what I do. I don't have to win to enjoy the game - and I don't have to get a 4k to win.
Good for you? I still don't follow why are you telling me your life story and replied to my comment with a "get better" if you're just gonna admit map bias is a thing.
-
I'm a killer main so of course every single one of my survivor games I sabotage my team.
-
They should have made the Witch a killer when they did the Left 4 Dead chapter, she could have a Llorona skin.
-
They don't care they are gonna be bathed in money after the RE chapter so why should they fix the game?
-
Hook right next to an active fountain and camp. Don't forget to say gg ez after the salt mine.
-
It's mostly to mock you but if they are really good they can finish healing or at least progress far enough so when they lose the killer it takes like 2 seconds for someone else to finish healing them (or they can just finish healing alone and it will take less time)
They still do it just to taunt you. It's better than teabagging behind a pallet or when survivors start to point like crazy.
-
@Jasix said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2134666#Comment_2134666
Sorry I don't agree with you, but when I am a killer - map doesn't mean all that much to me; nor does them being a SWF. If I lose it's because I didn't play well enough - blaming a map or SWF isn't my thing. Back when I used to actually use end game chat - whenever I faced salty survivors or killers in chat I would tell them the same thing: Don't get bitter - get better.
Good coping then but there are maps that are objectively better for certain perks and either for killer or survivor. Like, blame yourself all you want if you have low self esteem or whatever but you can't say maps like The Game are not survivor bias when every single pallet blocks the entire way and you can't mind game them.
I wanna see you get out of Tier 1 early as Michael in Haddonfield when every survivor has spine chill and balanced landing.

Yeah it is. Most DBD matches last around 10~12 minutes, so I'm not prolonging that for 30~40% doing nothing just to get a 4k I won't get anything out of. If the last survivor get hatch I don't care, I just move on to the next match.
It's cute how lots of killer players are so bad they need to pat themselves over a 3k and cope with the fact they won despite a survivor escaping and winning. Sour grapes are sour.

You're generalizing. Not all survivors love crying about being slugged and those that do can continue to cry, it's what this forum is here for.
You leaving the survivor on the floor due to no hooks being near by is not the complaint most survivors have. What most survivors complain about is when the killer intentionally keeps them on the ground when hooks are abundant just to annoy the survivor. If a survivor does come here to complain about the situation you describe, it's best to just ignore them.
- What most survivors complain about is when the killer intentionally keeps them on the ground when hooks are abundant just to annoy the survivor.
This never happened. It's just survivors playing victim and trying to be the center of the world. For some reason survivors seem to have such low self esteem they think the killer cares about them on a personal level.
@[Deleted User] said:
