You can exploit their appearance rate as well though. If you only got Decisive Strike as a teachable, you can see this ultra rare offering in every characters bloodweb easily.
And ultra rare are incredibly common. I have more trouble finding green items and add-ons.
-
The game is all about snowballing. Put too much pressure on early enough, and survivor side it's a battle of attrition. Not enough, they all go through the gate. But it always comes down to taking out just ONE survivor early enough. Because they have to react to it.
And those games where you're constantly tipping the needle are the best ones because you never know where they're going to go.

I wasn't talking about it ... why are the advantages not in color order?
That's like asking why characters like Bill are listed in the game as HARD when almost all his perks are the meta.
Doctor says HARD too. Lmao.
You asking for community based ratings? Self care would be green lol.
-
I just want the reworked originals. A lot of good ideas there but with ugly visuals. Maybe give the Asylum some lively prisoners. I dunno, Fresher cows on the abattoir that moo.
And level perks like mud slowing you down in the swamp, or poison gas clouds that blur your vision. Would make playing certain killers on those maps more interesting.
-
Why are perks even colored in the first place? It has no bearing on actual gameplay use.
Iron Will is green when maxed. That is not a weak perk.

Its the matchmaking fault and not due to 4 man swf.
People always complain about matchmaking when they're not paired with potatoes though.
Anyone who equips a loadout for dealing with sweats are going to crush any casual player. It's a self defeating system.

Dude, people here will protect any perk, I saw people claiming Distortion is a good perk.
It can reveal exactly which aura perk a killer is running, and can give you immunity to detection. How is that not good?
Only downside is the number of uses which can burn up quickly if the killer has an aura add-on. But by then you should already know their loadout.
-
He's probably one of the most balanced killers right now. My only gripe was he can't interrupt hook saves.

He says that because Claudette is black and if you say anything of that sort it is considered racist by some.
Know what would be awesome bro? If we had more right angles in this game. Preferably arranged as a cross.
Lmao.

If he is not "unfun" for survivors to play against, he probably will not be touched. Doctor, Nurse, Spirit, and Legion were all changed for this reason.
Doctor is top shelf nightmare fuel now. The entire game can crumble apart with Doc and all I need to do is use static blast occassionally.
Nurse people keep saying she is one walking bug report. Last time I played her I 4k'd on Labs so I dunno.
Spirit they keep nerfing her and she still stays good so that's very telling.
And Legion the more I play him, the more flexible he seems to be. I started using Blood Echo and taking away everyone's exhaustion perks appears to be very damaging. Also best farming killer.
Clown feels underrated seeing as how he has some really good add-ons, but the bottle limit can be annoying. Feels like a shooter where you need to reload your gun after only firing two bullets.
-
Slugging is delaying the hooking a survivor. It can either work to your advantage and give you a second chance or leave you vulnerable for minutes on end.
Personally I'd rather not get all 3 of my hooks in because someone hook dived with no plan in mind to actually protect me, or the killer decided they'd sack me early on to get the win.
-
There was an old Russian scientist who kept a dog's head alive. Though apparently only for a few minutes.

So what is this about then? Sorry, but I'm confused.
You want people to say "I got a 2k and a dc"? Or not? Or only in specific Situation?
It's mechanically not a kill, exploitable, ruins achievements, ruins emblems, and entirely survivor sided. They get outplayed then flip the table.
-
Devs said it's fixed. I quit 3 times since the Tuesday update with no penalty.

Yes but on another thread in the forum this guy literally had a 2k 1 escape and a d/c, yet he apparently had a 3k?
That was about the survivors exploiting the hatch escape. He lost pips as a result as well. All outside their control.
-
Demogorgon dropped off pretty fast.
Nurse I've seen more times then poor Demo.

No. Billy is what a well balanced killer is. All killers should look at bIlly as a standard.
If you limit the distance of his chainsaw all you have is a Bubba that can only down 1 person. Look at bubba now... I personally believe billy should stay as is and be looked at as a standard and buff other killers to be on his level.(Clown, Trapper, Wraith, Bubba etc) This way when we play survivor we will see all types of killers and not the same 3.
All killers should be Billy standard eh?
Legion goes FF. Downs entire team in 20 seconds.
Clown slows down target then one hit downs them inside gas cloud.
Wraith uncloaks, downs you instantly.
Demogorgon shreds you down in one hit.
Myers starts in perma tier 3.
Plague always has red vomit.
Iridescent hatchets now basekit for Huntress.
Ghostface stalk time is now half a second.
But it's ok because you can loop them.
-
Eh.
It's a free game, so do gens then leave.
Though it's surprising how much time people waste when they know killer is AFK.

I’m not talking about a buff. Every character has the potential to gain any tier 3 purple perk they want, but only if the original survivor has it first. THAT is what I would have liked to have seen happen.
I'm tired today.
Yeah I'd be down with their personal perks being already upgraded. Not like it adds anything besides better cooldown times or range.

Exactly! If these are teachable, then nobody should be able to “out-teach the teacher”!
They're against character specific survivor buffs because it skews diversity towards one or two characters who have the strongest traits. It's like the Blendette issue. At that point you're picking classes instead of characters.
-
Edit didn't read:
I assume it's because their power is a main part of their kit.
Edit: Also seems kinda spammy. Miss a bunch, get rewarded.

Lotta bad ones I don't want to get. I grabbed every teachable I could when I had the game on PS4, and it made leveling characters miserable.
I pretty much started off with Cannibal so everyone had BBQ lol.
I can see this being an issue with newer killer characters. You don't get all the perks that work with their ability and have to patchwork together a build. Then those matches effect your overall opinion of the character.
If they reworked bloodwebs I would hope you'd at least have every tier 1 perk unlocked from the get-go once you unlock it.
-
Yellow Raincoat Sea Captain costume for Deathslinger.
Myers spooky ghost costume.
Puppet costume for Nurse
Hockey Fan costume for Trapper.
Summery bikini with shark head for Huntress.
Payday masks for Legion
-
Getting all teachables is easy. It's getting everyone to P3 first which is hard.
-
Billy, Bubba, and Huntress all due for add-on reworks.
Pig was mentioned too.

Also the potential for some really cool perks themed around Solid Snake and the Metal Gear franchise would be pretty killer.
His stealth is very survivor-like as well.
"Killer will never find me in this box in the middle of the road."

Solid Snake from the Metal Gear franchise as a survivor
Oh no I can already hear it. D:
The pained grunts and grumbles. His death rattle followed by the game over screen filling in and his friends asking if he's ok.

There should just be a meme build day. No one is allowed to use meta builds for 24 hours lol got it fixed though. just closed the app and reopened.
Community fueled events would be cool.
All Bill's day, or Nurse appreciation Thursday or something. Main problem would be getting everyone to agree to the terms.
-
Play meme builds till everyone starts playing like potatoes.
There, rank fixed.
-
Just disable at end game. You had all match to not get tunneled.
-
Friends ask what my loadout is for my basement build. I play games in the basement. :(
I look at the broom occasionally like it's a makeshift pallet.
-
I grab them all. Why restrict yourself to one build? And if I'm maining a character I'll have all their perks anyways once they're P3.
There's also the chance they'd buff a weak perk in the future. I could play with it instantly. Happened recently with saboteur.

Nope, sorry not yet. Still have to assume 4 people are a dirty main for no reason. Come on, at this rate you're gonna get fired if you don't fill your quotas.
Uh uhhhh
Nerf Nurse! She still too op!
Buff Freddy!
Dc'ing is a perfectly valid tactic for winning against sweaty killers.
Devs should stop selling cosmetics and focus on FIXING THE GAME.
Why isn't Jason in the game yet? Here's my fan made list of perks for him.
-
Hey there ladies.
Single 33 yrs old Male looking for a grill to put my meat on so we can BBQ and Chill.
WINK EMOTE
-
Just don't get speared LMAO. You stupid?
I've fulfilled my trolling quota for today. Have a good day op and I wish you the best.
-
Tl;dr: OP's issue is survivors flipping the table to win the game, and he gets penalized.
In short, it's survivor sided when they cheat to win. Which is a very valid argument.
Everyone who disagrees is either stupid survivor mains or trolling. Then again, potato, pota-to.
-
I dunno. Took him several years to do a genny.
-
Eh it's kinda a free win for killer if survivor was already dropped a few times and the doors are open or almost open. It's just like not being able to kobe when solo. You have that rare scenario that otherwise wouldn't exist because another gameplay quirk overwrites it.
-
It's pretty gimmicky right now. Though on the top floor of the saloon, not breaking the wall forces everyone to use the long way around.
-
Oh I just thought of one as killer.
Was chasing someone through a house, so instead of going through all the boring effort of climbing through windows and whatnot I just stood there. Survivor panicked and ended up right in front of me.
-
Jabberwocky comes to mind. It's a poem summed up by a mix of nonsense words. It lives in a mirror world in the sequel to Alice in Wonderland.
-
I proposed a perk cooldown loadout system awhile back but one of the devs wasn't convinced. I can see why. You just want to go in with what you want. But then again, the perk stacking is a real issue.
-
I'd guess win/loss ratios. You win all the time as survivor and get paired with a killer who wins all the time, well....
-
I've crawled out exit gates using this perk. It's pretty viable.

I mean, people think doc got nerfed...
I was cackling like a madman the moment I got my hands on him after the nerf. Got a lot of free Queens from the conversion so there were loads of fortunate survivors who had to deal with that.

I always find it rather perplexing when survivors crouch down next to a wall or a rock right in front of me. You're not that invisible, mate.
Sometimes I see the killer barreling toward me then do something similar. It does work on occasion. Their focus was elsewhere or their FoV didn't reach. Lag can also alter when and how they saw you.

Never played it but I imagine that was only cause of the in game voice.
Well let's see.
Killer would often be playing with friends so they'd instantly murder everyone who they're not friends with then farm. Doesn't seem like it'd be an issue on DBD as killer loads in independently, but people do have cliques and they'd gladly sacrifice a random than someone from their own group.
It had the same issues with bullying and looping despite the easier kills. Imagine 8 people now who are all actively working against the killer.
Also if the killer could mori you instantly, why have slugging anymore? Slugging allowed you more time to deal with other survivors. Leaving them in an 8 person game guarantees they'll be full health again.

This sounds like Friday the 13th which was a wasteland of toxicity.
