Flashlight clicking extends the blindness duration and can be disabling. That's why I hate it anyways.

If only the ISP's actually improved infrastructure for the last 15 years instead of pocketing the money and providing sub-par service for exorbitant prices, we wouldn't be in this mess.
Darn it.

You completely missed my point. The Killers were only touched because Survivors found them "unfun" to play against. It had nothing to do with how good or bad they were. Given that Survivors are not complaining about Clown, he will likely remain low-tier garbage.
I didn't miss any point. I've played as and against them and most of their complaints were valid. This isn't a one sided argument where only you are the victim.
People used to brag about holding a game hostage as a forever Doc before forever Freddy became a thing. Besides that he was considered garbage by the masses. He is by and far the best example of a rework complaint actually buffing a character.
Nurse still breaks every rule in the game despite polarizing players to either godlike or garbage. She had a high skill ceiling sure, but the flexibility of her power meant winning every chase with no breathing room in between. I agree she's buggy at the moment, but the change was necessary.
Spirit had every advantage stacked in her favor. She could hear them, see their scratches more clearly, bump into them, and travel much faster with no feedback to the other players as to what she was doing. They took away 2 of those things and she still wrecks.
Legion guaranteed downs in the stupidest manner possible. And was rather braindead considering how much feedback he got for little investment. His advantages are still there.
And Clown has some hardcore fans for some reason. I'd argue he actually does need a look at, but again he has some devious add-ons that can create unwinnable situations.

Mori is a skip button and a luxury item. You don't need to find a hook. You don't need to pick them up. It removes them from the game, and can can turn a losing game into a winning one.
-
-Everyone dresses as same character
-Kill one
-HE TUNNELED MEEEEEEE
-Lose honor. Must play sudoku instead of DBD.
-
The flashlight one is firecracker. I couldn't believe I got blinded by another survivor while slugged.
-
I've had killers prop me back up just because they want the other person so bad. Like alright, I'll do these gens in peace now lol.
-
How far or close the killer is mainly relies on the unhooker's own decision making. If they make the right choice to unhook when the killer is on the other side of the map, it could easily backfire with another teammate running towards you with the killer in tow.
It's always a risk.
Also flailing your arms does nothing except annoy me.
-
You can get grabs on exit gates and totems too. People like to commit on those trying to last second them. Hook saves as well.
-
More motivation to P3 them. Just reset and try another 50 levels.
-
It says grab. You can get grabs on vaults when they're injured. If they're lining up a vault, quick blink 3 times over then get'm.
There's also a add-on that makes you undetectable. Pair with an extra blink add-on and you can set up an gen grab maybe.
-
Tier lists are disingenuous. Doesn't take into account every variable.
Spies from the Shadows is S-tier on Lery's for example.
-
Played some Nurse yesterday.
The blackout phase (post-blink stun) is the worst part of her kit. Because she's so slow at base you're going to see that a lot. 3+ times in a single chase. And you get double stunned if they drop a pallet on you.
Also her line of sight (torn bookmark) add-on is a mess. I was stopped by some objects, but not others. Very inconsistent. An extra blink is a bandaid for such an unreliable add-on.
I'm fine with the new blink mechanic but the numbers for her walk speed or blackout need a second look at or somethin I dunno.
Oh and there's a glitch where she can't attack after a blink.
-
I played with it yesterday. Had the perk active more than once and didn't see a single gen light up. Well it did when it was done. So you have 30 seconds before the gen is done in 40.

Survivor can pass through killer when he s in vault animation. Kind of.
Is this while they're standing still or if they move a bit from the window? Sometimes I see them trying this but don't move.

Disable on EGC. Or overwrite with another status effect. You get deep wounds, you don't get your DS.

Have I introduced you to Surge?
I'd play around with it but it doesn't seem to want to appear in my bloodweb.

Surprisingly no one has said I'm All Ears, which is a perk I love on him. It really helps to get that second hit, which is something Legion really needs.
Chopped liver.
Edit for clarity: What am i, chopped liver? My first post was overlooked.
Apparently I can't slang properly.

I think I'll do a few matches later on PS4. Maybe 7 hours from now.
If you see a Nurse in a white dress and glowing orange head, that's me.
-
Hurting yourself for other people is totally metal so that's why I have it on corpse paint Jeff.
Or something.
All I know is he doesn't have a stupid scarf. Or a stupid anime girl t-shirt. Or a tophat. Stupid devs.
-
Don't use it in front of the killer. That's all this perk demands from you. It already buffs Resiliance giving you faster gen speeds.

They need to just implement a new game mode for swf's. 6 survs, 2 killers to balance it out. That way the killer gets someone to talk and coordinate with also. It's just too damn hard to keep up with 4 swf's all on coms, and that's what ps4 is anymore. 90% of the survs is at least 3 swf's. Then, they use map offerings for the cheesiest levels like farm, auto haven, Haddonfield, etc..
Two killers tunneling the same person. A good way to lose, but I imagine it'll be a day 1 problem.
-
How about giving everyone tier one perks at base once it's unlocked. Then you're just grinding to upgrade it.
-
Either way they need to put their foot down about where they stand.
They don't want to stifle build variety, ok. But they don't want to deal with perk stacking which often doesn't leave much room for variety.

Despite appreciating a comment. This has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
Slugging one to find the last one is also a viable tactic. You have until they bleed out to find the last guy.
In doing so, you take the chance of losing your slug, or them being healed. Not to mention WAY less bloodpoints and rank if they do bleed out.
It's a tactic. But one that is unrelated to this post.
Ok, I went on a tangent and trying to go through multiple points (I'm tired), but a change like that were to go through, it'd all be connected.
The original post was for speeding up an unwinnable game and guaranteeing 4 kills right? Or more or less skipping the hook phase or dodging a ######### killer or a bandaid for the silent slug hunt.
It skips every variable the game builds upon. You refuse to hook 4 downed survivors.....why? Everyone has DS? Someone would have the gall to actually kobe and make a comeback?
And at what point does the game get considered unwinnable? If they're all on death hook except for one guy, then does it give him a chance or skip it just to move things along?
And how would the last guy even get hatch if everyone has 15 seconds? Wouldn't the killer just wait it out to deny the hatch anyways?
I stay on topic this time? I'm dizzy. Got no sleep trying to grind out the rift.

Or you could just bring unbreakable. Why give someone a free perk when the killer played fair?
This isn't to punish any side or add strength to any style of play. It only acts to speed up bleeding out if the killer chooses not to hook people. But allow them to hook and play normally if they wish as well.
How about those scenarios where there's two survivors with one being slugged constantly and the other hiding in a constant loop till they bleed out and die? Putting in a "guess I'll die button" is no different from DC'ing for hatch imo.
They can try to find the last person but don't pretend it isn't an artificial stall. Just hang them and get the hatch before the other person does.
Maybe they should rework the hatch to count as a loss. It is a last ditch effort to escape. And keep it closed when the exit gates are open. There's no point to having 3 escape points for the last person. Keys would see less use if people really cared about rank and bloodpoints.

Nurses, Spies from the Shadows, STBFL, and Blood Echo or I'm All Ears has been working well for me. Though you may want Bloodhound in there in case they have Iron Will.
Then whatever you want with add-ons. Either build for getting your power faster and longer or keeping them injured.
Always use the Obsession as a way to find the other survivors. I don't think you lose stacks with STBFL when you use FF on them. Also use FF on people unhooking. It overrides their Borrowed Time and injures the unhooker as well. If a chase is taking too long, use FF to whack the looper then find someone else. If a survivor corners themselves while using FF, end it there to get the hit, but give yourself a wide enough berth to get to them. By that I mean back off a bit to see where they try to go, then cut them off.
-
How about it gives one person unbreakable if everyone is slugged and killer isn't hooking.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
-
People actually hate reworked Lery's? There's so many alternating paths. Though more than a few walls feel like they need to be breakable.
But yeah, Crotus totally sucks. My totem was right next to a gen in the open and going into the rotunda is asking to be looped.
-
Dunno about Xbox but on PS4 adept is working fine. Though the gen on Saloon is borked.

5 or 6 different players, but I remember a Clown, Spirit, Plague, and a Doc. And I'm not saying slugging isnt a viable tactic, but slugging the entire team and leaving them to die is a douchebag move.
Doc has no excuse. Plague sorta with her perk. Dunno about Spirit and Clown but Clowns have a chip on their shoulder.
I sometimes choose someone at random to jump off my shoulder if I slug everyone. Assuming I don't have a challenge I need to do.
-
They were trying to flex on you but it backfired. Where's the complaint?

These new killers are working on out dated info.
The OLD DS is gone. Their only counter isn't just to slug everyone to death anymore. Or they are just being pillocks.
I main killer but I sometimes play survivor at low ranks but haven't noticed this. Honestly most of the grief I get as survivor is from other survivors straight up farm unhooking me in front of a killers face 99% of the time.
Lol, I seen one killer tunnel the Obsession to death. They were running Dying Light.
But uhhh slugging is a legit tactic guys. Which killer was it? If it was Billy they're an #########.

I'm going to play Dishonored during the quarantine. Main character is named Corvo and he is in the middle of a plague.

Well I don't speak about 1-2 games but about results of several games over a few days. But if you need to know what I used the most then it would be STBFL, PGTW, sloppy and monitor. I don't use addons almost never unless I take BP offering which I almost didn't.
It doesn't matter really, against good survivors most of the time when I hooked someone and tried to pop a gen that was crusial to win I never managed to get there in time. I understand that I probably could have played better those games but overall I just got tired of having to manage all the perks survivors have that prevent me from capitalizing on their mistakes. With slugging I at least have to worry only about unbreakable which I don't mind since chases are all I want when I play like that.
Ruin is still viable if you can consistently scare them away. Works with his base perks Dead Mans Switch and Retribution.
Or if you want to keep your low TR, Furtive Chase could come in handy instead of M&A. Monitor is only good for the surprise phase.
If you don't switch up your build, you won't know what you can do.

It's like any other multiplayer game. Situational awareness and dumb luck.
-
LANDSCAPING
Reduced vegetation
-
This doesn't involve drinking....
-
Your perks were.....
Your add-ons were.....
There's some missing info. A lot of perks capitalize on hooking.
-
Surgical masks are bad manners in this game.
Also I have allergies to everything so if I win the biological warfare lottery and hit number one out of 100 it's been nice knowing you guys.
-
Red Herring is advanced trickery. In literary terms it means a distraction. A fake lead. That's not for newbies.
With that said, I have no idea how to take advantage of said trickery other than end game plays, or totem hunting since you won't set it off by breaking bones.
But in any case, it's a support perk. And the bigger the distance the killer has to travel, the better the perk. So if you're in a small level or 3 gen'd yourself, it may not be much use. Even less if you're accidentally getting teammates spotted.
-
"Needs more breakable walls"- BHVR probably.
-
How about a growing aura for every hook? Wouldn't solely rely on sacking your teammates. Though you'd get a lump sum for every death.
I mean they changed Dying Light in a similar manner. You get tokens for every hook.
-
Spread the love. You see someone, you make them bleed. You see their friend, you make them bleed too. Down someone with rage, find someone else. See a teammate trying to heal them? Double kill.
He's not a snowball, he's an avalanche.
-
Ok, they implement it and it breaks something else.
"Not my problem" right?
-
No.
This is the very definition of bandaid fix.
-
Why not organize them by function?
Exhaustion, stealth, aura, healing, utility, bleedout, etc.
