The thing is Tony. I can't recall a single time where I got to 5 knives and ran out. It's almost always that 7th-8th blade. And the fact that you can lay 3-4 in on them from point blank after the first health state. Hes going to be very dangerous now
This has been my experience as well. This will make those handful of window blades much more significant.

Separate issues. Separate teams. They have made announcements about this multiple times.

Are you seriously complaining about a trickster buff?
Yes, yes they are.
-
This should massively reduce his chase time. Very happy reading of the Developer Update.

On console all the killers freeze up using their powers at the moment, I've leveled most of them to 50 this week so trust me, nemesis can't possibly be any worse.
#pray4consoles
I am being genuine when I recommend Nemesis over Pig. He’s quite a lot of fun, oppressive once tiered up (once), and the zombie combos are random and an absolute blast when it happens.
-
Oni is the best of the three but I recommend shards purchase as well. Second I would pick Nemesis and the only thing hesitating me is the reports of frame drops while using his power. That with the precision required to use it means Nemesis may not be a good purchase for consoles.

Blast mine doesn't run out once the timer ends, it just comes back to the survivor. Great info perk that can be seen from ANY distance, the fact that it also stuns killers for 5 seconds is just a cherry on top.
The highlighting is the cherry on top or more players would run Better Together. A five second stun that prevents a kick, so many killers kick again afterwards is a massive time kill.

Well when I get yelled at for camping with Victor for the fortieth time this week when I WASN'T EVEN CAMPING WITH VICTOR it gets pretty damn annoying.
Okay, this I can relate to. I’ve been enjoying them a lot lately as well and this is a common, unfounded accusation in my trials.
Your thread is about defending hook camping though.

THIS INJUSTICE CANNOT STAND! Give victor his crown
We can’t give Victor a crown. It’d make him stick out above too many loops 😁

There’s a simple trick for that, too, actually!
Step 1: When approaching the hook, remember that the Killer you’re facing is Twins, and that Victor is a thing that exists.
Step 2: Look for the idle Victor GLOWING BRIGHT ######### RED near the hook.
So when you’re camping with Victor you leave him out in the open?
-
This is disingenuous. Many players don’t know Victor is camping until they enter his lullaby range, at which point the killer switches and hits the incoming survivor.
-
Never played on the map, period. I think you can select it in KYFs if you want to test but haven’t confirmed myself.

Right. Must be awesome to be such an amazing killer. You shoukd teach ohtz since i often see him only have 2 to 3 hooks when 1 gen is left.
It does feel good ngl.

@Edgars_Raven said:

And he gets gen rushed to ######### too
But i agree, the gen times themselves arent the issue. The issue is theres nothing else the survivors HAVE to do except gens
I don’t have a problem with gen speeds. Survivors can’t do gens when in dying state or hooked. The problem is I think mostly Trickster and his effectiveness in chase.
-
The problem with making Trickster 115% is it deincentivizes the killer player from using the killers power. The power needs more buffs because as many people have accounted for in this thread, he cannot utilize it effectively in too many scenarios.
-
No, Trickster is the worse killer. He is 100% incapable of handling TLs and shack. Basically any L shaped wall with a window wrecks him.
Another problem is his spread is really high so you have to be close enough to m1 for accuracy purposes and then leaves you wondering why “I didn’t just m1 anyways?”
-
It’s a top tier perk. Love using it.
-
The DBD day hasn’t’rolled over’ yet. Expect the shards in about an hour.
-
I’m generating so many points right now that I just play them no matter the game. Sorry yall feel like tapping out.

deathslinger isn't top tier he just has decent anti loop but he doesn't really have anything that speeds up the chase especially with his 5.75 second cooldown on successful shots slowing him down
Deathslinger has a normal hit cooldown. Three seconds modified by STBFL. Not some Nurse-like fatigue.
And his m1, shot combo is 💯 top tier.

@TricksOTM said:
Nope, you can most definitely win on any map with Blight. His collision is a bit janky at the moment. Not your fault. That being said, if you expect to play Rotten Fields or Hawkins the same way you'd play Coal Tower then you just need to spend more time on him. In other words, you need to git gud, unfortunately, and memorize which structures you can and can't bounce off of. I would even say that in his current state swamp maps are way harder than the ones you mentioned. Every other tree is covered in butter. Good luck!
You know what? I can see that. We have to memorize the bad collision spots on each map.
But he did perform terribly when you butter off a structure, then enter cooldown.
-
Probably intended since they are so similar. I noticed it too and am okay with it.
-
I would say it’s not killer movement speed that’s an issue but time to down a survivor. Tricksters time it takes to down a survivor is horrendous. Deathslinger’s is top tier.

Right because most survivors playing are potatos. I can 4k in most pubs with killers I’m not good with. Go against good survivors consistently and get back to me.
I do. That's why I have this opinion.
-
Heads up. My FPS drops on PC every time my drivers need an update.
-
Remove hook grabs and you remove the incentive to camp for most killers.

If you think Spirit doesn’t have to try against good players, you don’t know the game. Against these type of survivors, there is no “possibility” of losing with most killers- it is a certainty because the game is imbalanced.
I think I don’t have to try when playing Spirit in pubs.

Unfulfilling if you enjoy losing I guess.
Winning because players do not try is definitely, definitionally, absolutely, totally boring.
And yes, the possibility of losing is what makes my games and my gameplay more fun for me. No gen regression. Don’t mind keys. Overcome.
Knowing that a player can only win with one specific top tier killer has gotta be a bummer, too.
-
Fingers crossed they made these changes so my friend and I can co-op play Twins. Otherwise, bad addon reworks. Really really bad.
-
I try to win my matches, period. The sparkling-denying thing doesn’t really play a part in my logic.
-
Playing with Spirit is unfulfilling but have at it.
-
I’m pretty sure Nemesis can hit over gaps btw. There’s definitely a level to the whip as survivors can crouch behind certain objects to avoid hits.
-
They reduced the amount of time hatch stays open after a key to allow the killer to decide if they want to start EGC or not. Big brain move by the killer.
-
Love me some Billy. Addons need a rework. Feels too limited currently. I’m a fan of his turn speed. I wish there were four of these instead of some of the others.
-
I just can’t relate. Winning as killer in a dominating, unfair fashion isn’t that fun.
I want the struggle. To overcome. No ruin/undying. No stridor Spirit.
-
If Prestiging a character is your goal, then never go past the first level fifty bloodweb. If there’s a perk or offering I want, I’ll spend a few points to grab it. But the cost of going further as opposed to just saving is too high.
It seems prestiging is not a goal for riyasiz so I would not take this advice.
-
Never vault a window as killer. Learn the tiles. Learn the killers powers and uses. Learn survivor perks.
Starting teachable perks I targeted when restarting on PC: Cannibal (Barbecue and Chili), Clown (Pop Goes the Weasel), Trapper (Brutal Strength), Shape (Save the Best for Last).

No thats about right depending on what character you're on and what addons you're aiming to get. I just did a test and calculated how many BP i spent.
I did it on P3 Pyramid head Bloodweb. Focusing on POTD reach addons (eg: Burning Man painting, wax doll) & ROJ time to be performed. (tablet of oppressor, spearhead).
1st BW - 56K spent - including 1 red addon and 2 purple
2nd BW - 54K
3rd BW - 57K - including 1 red addon and 2 purple
4th BW - 61K - including 1 red addon and 3 purple
5th BW - 54K
6th BW - 56K
7th BW - 60K - including 1 red addon and 3 purple
8th BW - 56K - including 1 red addon and 2 purple
Even when getting red and purple addons, im still spending between 54K minimum and 61K maximum so im not really sure what you are spending yours on to go well above 60K each time. I spend an average of just under 57K which generally means from 1 million BP you should be getting a minimum 17-18 blood webs including variables from bad RNG.
Thank you for bringing data to support. This has been my experience as well.
-
Oni was my hardest one. Oddly more difficult than the Trickster adept on his release…

Or the little orbs that Nurse holds when using her power becomes pumpkins. (I've been wanting this even though I don't play her.)
Or different cosmetics for Huntress hatchets 🪓

A lot. Enough that I get, at the absolute maximum, 13 or 14 levels. At MAXIMUM. That's assuming I get good Entity RNG and cheap nodes.
It’s fifty to sixty thousand a web. Sixty is a conservative estimate.

As someone who has collected points in batches of one million for grinding: Eighteen is VERY, VERY generous.
How many bloodpoints do you spend per web?
-
It’s a power. Powers don’t seem to get cosmetics or Hillbilly could use a new chainsaw / Oni a new kanabo.
-
More bloodpoints for killers per match. More cakes per bloodweb. This happened last year too.

I bet the console numbers are a different story. And supposedly, console has more players, not that you'd know it from looking at PC dominated forums like this one.
Maybe the post should’ve said DBD is dying on consoles.
-
@ManWithALemon said:
I love how the best part is, when you get to the higher levels of grinding, 1 million bloodpoints is like nothing. 12 levels at most.
Hell, even if you're starting out at level 1, 1 million points is barely enough to get anything worthwhile thanks to bloodwebs being RNG as hell.
At P3, a level is approximately 50 to 60,000. It’s closer to eighteen at most. When I calculate how many bloodpoints I need to collect all perks on a character, I assume 60,000 points a web fwiw.

That’s not broken any more than grip in the middle left or the rare stamp in the bottom left.
It just got entity blocked and you missed it doing it it seems to me.
-
I remember there was a DBD is dying post yesterday. Even though the average daily players for the last month was at an all time high.
-
Restarting the game after the fix was required.
