The anniversary event has already been extended by one day, before these errors were found. And theyve seem to already have resolved it basically in the morning time.
If they extend, they’re being overly nice at this point.

I believe both the issues have been resolved - there may still be some people affected, but I've had no more recent reports of it. That situation is being monitored, but it looks to have been sorted.
Thanks for responding.

No offence taken...but I'm referring to the issue which the thread is about - the one with losing the BP.
I know frustrations are high, believe me - I'm on these forums enough to see how our playerbase is feeling and I'm trying to communicate as much as I can with regards to what's happening.
I haven’t seen an announcement for the bloodpoints issue? Apologies for making you repeat but you do not mean the crown issue that was announced as resolved earlier today?
-
Literally stunned a Cannibal twice while sweeping yesterday.

Every event breaks at release and is usually extended as a result.
It’s tradition.

Each new Tome’s set of challenges is I want to say around three million bloodpoints. Then the handouts like the half million today. I can see how these weekends are getting rarer.
-
I’ve always figured prestige would increase the rate of event offerings. Can anyone tell a difference?

Same thing happened to me too.
Got a Crown as Blight, and it seems like I'm also missing my previous year Crown too which I got last year.

"Crown Unlocked"
Blight was released last September. He did not have a fourth anniversary crown as he wasn’t released yet.

Licensed characters don’t get crowns.

Dying in you. In you.

So because console performance is bad, you're going to purposefully get fewer points and make other players get fewer points? How is that supposed to help?
PC players can just do Crossplay Off and ignore the issues.
-
I think I’ll save some bloodpoints this evening and dump half into my main survivor and half into my main killer to start the hoarding of cake.
-
Yes, the consoles are getting a bad break here. Yes, it is unfair to them. Yes, I think BHVR will address it. Yes, PC will likely benefit from these mistakes.
-
I could see that. I do not think Smash Hit is a good stand alone exhaustion perk however, which I think OP is implying due to issues with certain maps having fewer pallets and map RNG.
Sprint Burst and Dead Hard do not have map dependencies.
-
I love playing against killers Im good with like Hillbilly. You know what things work against them and the timing.
Terrible Nurses might be my favorite killer to verse.
I hate. Hate. Hate playing against Trapper.
-
He’s really grown on me. I would like to see the iridescent addons get buffed but otherwise completely happy with him.
-
My whoring for bloodpoints knows no bounds. I accept all gifts. I’ll even hook the unlucky survivors that go into dying state in bounds.
-
@Orion said:
Have they announced a hotfix is coming?
Nope. Just an assumption since they always come on Tuesdays.
-
Bully squads are perfect for beginner Nurses to practice against. Stealth squads would be much much worse.
-
Legion is pretty underrated around here. Or survivors in my region don’t play well against Legion for whatever reason.
The mend is an under appreciated slowdown. Staying injured is playing exposed all game. Some Legions stack Thana with Dying Light to disadvantage this strategy on top of this.
I think some of the advice in this thread is not really a good idea.
-
Completionist, but also, I don’t have to fear a future decision of prestiging. I have friends who have ‘too much’ on unprestiged characters.
I won’t be having that issue. My characters are capped out except for a handful of licensed survivors.
-
The only issue he has is the time to down a survivor is way too high. Once his chase gets fixed, in any way they see fit, all the other problems get corrected.
-
Cakes by far. I am fully expecting 150,000 bloodpoints a match during the anniversary.
Last year I prestiged six characters during the event. I plan on accumulating a ton of these on my killers and a few favorite survivors to make sure I have tons for new chapters.
Way more excited during the anniversary than bloodhunts.
-
The ricochet does make Trickster more tricky. I think it adds to his skill cap and compensates for the slow power movement speed.
-
Toxic isn't the word for it. Efficient is. I'd prefer games to last a bit longer but I try not to tell people how to play.
-
My favorite complaint was that I won because I respected pallets. The statement actually makes a lot of sense.
-
He could use better addons.

The first infection hit is supposed to apply the Hindered status onto survivors, but its currently set at a baffling duration of 0.25 seconds.
Its got to be some kind of mistake, but as far as I'm aware, nobody aknowledged the issue on the dev side. same for Clown's tonic being completly broken.
The Licker Tongue increases this duration.
-
Combine the effects of his two bottles into one: cloud slows survivors (period) and speeds Clown when he enters after a short duration.
Clown, imo, is suffering from the same inefficiencies that original Doctor was dealing with by switching stances. The bottle inefficiencies in using four inventory for two effects.
-
The killers I feel most comfortable with, I don’t run slowdown on them. Hillbilly, Oni, Deathslinger, Blight, Nurse.
I pretty just run slowdown on killers I’m trying to get better with. Twins, Nemesis. They’re like training wheels.

The evolved Nemesis’s in RE3 look sick
-
I think Wraith and Billy are next in line for a visual update.
-
I agree with OP and blame OhToFu and Dowsey for explaining why this killer is so strong. They’ve been a lot of fun for me the weeks leading up to Nemesis.
You may hate reading this but they are one of the killers that most effectively use meta perks like Ruin as well. Being a passive perk, Victor can push survivors off objectives. Incapacitate survivors which means they can’t stop the Ruin regression. These kinds of synergies really push Twins up the tier list.
My next challenge is designing a no regression build. If I can win consistently without regression perks, they will solidify in my top five.
-
Nah, Whispers is great as is. It effectively gives survivors a terror radius. Even after having 80+ perks unlocked on a killer, there’s a use here.
-
This might be the only perk worth buying from the shrine. Everyone should pick it up if they don’t intend on purchasing Cannibal.

No problem mate 👍

That's fair enough 👍 though if you save them till next Thursday you'll get a lot of double bp offerings
Any bloodpoint offerings I acquire on unprestiged characters could potentially be lost as well. It’s a dilemma of strategy for me.
-
I’ve prestiged Neme already so I may just burn through this Tome to prestige the new survivors asap.
-
Already fixed unfortunately. I enjoyed my extra 5k bloodpoints.
-
Billy addon pass.
Pig addon pass.
Trickster basekit buff.
Shape addon pass.
Pretty much everyone else is fine imo but for small tweaks. Ghostface’s power cooldown could use a buff for instance.
-
Check out the good Huntress streamers like Umbra and CoconutRTS.
-
When the arguments get boiled down, being upset with “SWFs” is just being upset with “good players making good plays.”
-
I’m okay with it. They were clear about this from the get go.
-
All Seeing Wraith is also not map dependent like Scratched Mirror.
-
Blight was S on release. He’s had multiple addons get nerfed, almost immediately after release. He really should have a few more nerfed as well.
Twins was a surprise to me. I dropped them after release due to all the bugs. It was hard to get a bead on them and when the bugs were removed I had a bad taste for them. My mind admittedly did change on their viability after OhToFu’s tier list last month and Dowsey’s multiple videos exhibiting their strengths. OP’s got me nailed here.
Nemesis is not S tier. I do question his placement in A tier. But he is not bottom three killer as many thought on release. He’s quite viable but not among the best of the killers.

I think he's very balanced. His tentacle has the potential to be better than even Pyramid Head's shockwave attack but the drawback is that you have to hit them 3 times.
Agreed. I’ve completely come to terms with the three hits. The aim is much easier than the Exec and it effectively has a built in STBFL. Those moments where survivors run into a wall are quickly punished.
Also, really enjoy the bonus bloodpoints from infecting survivors (850 to ‘objective’). I really do hope this was intended as it’s quite a nice perk to using him.
-
I disagree with Scott here. Love his videos. Am subscribed. Less grind is an available option for all players.
-
I was looking forward to playing a lot of Nemesis with surprise Zombies during the release. It is a bummer.
-
Hahaha 👍

the issue is, dead harding for distance has no counters.
both can play perfectly, that is still the case.
if your counter is "win the game despite it", you don't have a counter.
Using this logic, use at a distance, how do you counter any exhaustion perk?

you can't bait dead hard for distance.
either they are in range for an attack and would have dead harded anyway. or they aren't in range and wouldn't dead hard anyway.
what you are asking for... is for the survivor to screw up their dead hard.
What I am saying is if a killer is blaming a loss on a DH, they are not shining a light on errors in other parts of their game play. Not chasing well in general can exacerbate the effect of an exhaustion perk.
If it takes a killer fifty seconds to get a hit on average, I could see how a DH is really harmful to their already porous gameplay.
