How do you go against Legion? Are you not supposed to heal and just rush gens?

As a general rule that is what I've been led to believe. But I keep getting teammates adamant on healing me and others even with mangled status. Gens don't get done, people get too many hook states and die, game over.

  • Loop them for 5 gens since they can't chase. Hence why it's fine to stay injured and just do gens. And to avoid a healing simulator.

  • Spread out from your teammates

Try not to heal unless you can do it quickly or are dead on hook

Don't waste pallets on a legion in their frenzy, you will need those resources later

Well it depends, some Legion players can run perks to make chases considerably easier, such has Enduring and Bamboozle

Legion is still a weak chaser. Hence why the best bring slowdown.

  • Typically don't heal; but, your team will obviously be screwed if someone is hooked, everyone else is injured, and the killer protects the hook. Legion's power is very boring and just makes the game drag out with the majority of scoring categories maxed for everyone.

  • It's not that you shouldn't heal against Legion, it's that healing you should never be a priority. There will be times where you'll have to heal against a Legion such as making a hook trade.

  • Legion is pretty underrated around here. Or survivors in my region don’t play well against Legion for whatever reason.

The mend is an under appreciated slowdown. Staying injured is playing exposed all game. Some Legions stack Thana with Dying Light to disadvantage this strategy on top of this.

I think some of the advice in this thread is not really a good idea.

    1. Run to the corner of the map furthest away from other survivors when Legion uses his power and is chasing you.
    2. Start mending right in front of Legion. If the Legion is bad, he will cancel his power. If he does, begin looping him. If he doesn't, mend up.
    3. Do a 360 right before he hits you, this may cancel his power.
    4. Wait at a pallet after he uses his power and starts chasing you. Let him hit you, then drop the pallet. It will cancel his power, then you can loop him like normal.

***The best thing to do against Legion is stop him from using his power. Even if he downs you, after cancelling his power, it means that 3 other team mates didn't lose a health state. 5 health stats is worse than 2 health stats.

  • Depends on the legion, not healing against me you better be a class A looper.
